This study was conducted to investigate the distribution pattern, ecological characteristics and life cycle of the Black Soldier Fly (Hermetia illucens, BSF). The BSF was widely distributed throughout Korea. The insect was mainly found in the vicinity of and in cattle sheds, manure sheds, living waste dump grounds, and food waste dump grounds. Developmental characteristics of the BSF are as follows: the egg was long oval shaped of 887 ${\mu}m$ in the major axis and 190 ${\mu}m$ in the minor axis; it weighed 24 ${\mu}g$. Female oviposited ca. 1,000 eggs on average; eggs hatched in 81 hours under laboratory condition ($27^{\circ}C$, 60% R.H.). The duration of the larval stage was approximately $15{\sim}20$ days. The size of the last instar larvae was 21 mm. The cuticle of the pupae gradually acquired red-brown color and the size of them was 19 mm. The pupal stage was shorter for females (16 days) than males (15 days). Adults were sized about $13{\sim}20$ mm long and black-colored. The life span of adult insects was $5{\sim}8$ days for the first generation (June${\sim}$July), $7{\sim}10$ days for the second generation (Aug.${\sim}$Sept.), and $13{\sim}18$ days for the third generation (Sept.${\sim}$Oct.). Mating started on the next day of emergence and actively occurred at the third day after emergence. Mating mostly occurred between 10:00 and 16:00 during which light intensity is highest. Egg-laying started on the third day and was most frequent from the fourth to the sixth day after emergence. Similar to mating time, females oviposited mostly between 10:00 and 16:00.
The present study was aimed to examine the effect of different host plants on the biological property of cotton caterpillar, outbreak pest of cucurbit vegetables. The feeding and oviposition preferences toward cucumber and pumpkin were greater than those toward watermelon, oriental melon, and melon. The periods of egg and larva fed on oriental melon, melon, and pumpkin were longer than those on watermelon and cucumber. The longest pupal period was 10.5 days from cucumber. The hatching rate, pupation rate, emergence rate, and survival rate were observed from different host plants. The hatching rate was the highest on cucumber (87.2%) and the lowest on melon (72.8%). The pupation rate on watermelon and oriental melon (90.0% and 89.1%, respectively) was higher than that on cucumber (62.0%). The emergence rate on cucumber and pumpkin (93.5% and 92.0%, respectively) was higher than that on oriental melon (78.7%). The survival rate from hatching to emergence on watermelon (76.0%) was the highest, and the lowest on cucumber (50.0%). The adult period on melon (21.0 days) was the longest, and the shortest on cucumber (15.5 days) among 5 host plants. Average number of eggs per female on cucumber (281.8 eggs) was the highest, and the least on oriental melon (96.6 eggs). The survivorship on cucumber was the longest (30 days), and the shortest on pumpkin (17 days). The preoviposition period on oriental melon and melon (3.4 days) was longer than that on watermelon (2.1 days) and mean generation time in day (T) on melon was the longest (47.2 days) though they were not significant. The net reproductive rate per generation (R$_{o}$) on cucumber, 191.3, was the highest and the highest intrinsic rate of natural increase (r$_{m}$) was observed from cucumber as 0.127. All these results suggest that the growth ana reproduction of cotton caterpillar varies depending upon the kind of host plants. The analysis of the life table revealed that cucumber and pumpkin were the favorable host plants of cotton caterpillar.
For the biological control of the greenhouse whitefly, aphids, American leaf-miners, Encarsia formosa, Aphidius coiemani, Diglyphus isaea, and Dacnusa sibirica were used as biological control factors. Otherwise, many kinds of environment friendly agricultural materials were also used in the kindly environment friendly farming. For testing the toxicity of environment friendly agricultural materials against to insect parasitoids as biological control factors, 61 environment friendly agricultural materials were selected by using methods and periods with insect parasitoids in the greenhouses. Environment friendly agricultural materials were sprayed to mummies and adults of E. formosa and A. colemani, and adults of Diglyphus isaea and Dacnusa sibirica in laboratory condition. Emergence rates were checked during 12 days after spray to mummies of E. formosa and A. colemani, and survival rates were at 24 and 48 hours after viral test for adult parasitoids, with 10% sugar solution. Emergence rates of E. formosa mummies were inhibited by sprayed the fungicidal environment friendly agricultural material (FEFAM) E and the environment friendly agricultural materials contained molybdenum (EFAMMo) G as 0.4 and 2.7%, respectively. E. formosa adults were not survived in vial for 48hours after sprayed and dried with the environment friendly agricultural materials contained plant extract (EFAMPE) J and the EFAMMo C. The environment friendly agricultural materials contained microelements (EFAMMEs) B and EFAMPE H, environment friendly agricultural materials contained useful soil microorganisms (EFAMSMs) H, FEFAM A and FEFAM D were recorded low survival rates of E. formosa adults with 6.7, 13.3, 13.3, 20.0 and 20.0, respectively. In case of the spraying environment friendly agricultural materials to mummies of A. colemani there were low emergence rate from mummies to adults as around 20s % with water spraying as control. A. colemani adults were not survived in vial with EFAMMo C. EFAMPE J, EFAMPE F, EFAMPE H, EFAMSM H were recorded low survival rates under 20% as 6.7, 13.3, 13.3 and 13.3, respectively, D. isaea and D. sibirica adults were not survived in vial with EFAMPE J. EFAMMo C was 53.3% of survival rates in 48 hours vial tests. D. isaea and D. sibirica were not affected by environment friendly agricultural materials compared with E. formosa and A. colemani.

Susceptibility of each developmental stage of Phthorimaea operculella (Lepidoptera: Gelechiidae) were investigated using 16 insecticides which are available in the market in Korea. For the eggs and pupae, only spinosad showed a 71.1% inhibition rate for egg hatchability and a 66.7% inhibition rate for emergence. For the 3rd instar larvae, the feeding toxicities were over 90% for fenitrothion ($LC_{50}$ 336.6 ppm), esfenvalerate ($LC_{50}$ 8.6 ppm), ethofenprox ($LC_{50}$ 35.7 ppm), and emamectin benzoate ($LC_{50}$ 0.05 ppm). Furthermore, the contact toxicities were over 90% for esfenvalerate ($LC_{50}$ 0.87 ppm), ethofenprox ($LC_{50}$ 16.5 ppm), emamectin benzoate ($LC_{50}$ 0.53 ppm), and spinosad ($LC_{50}$ 2.48 ppm) at the recommended concentrations. Deltamethrin and spinosad yielded 100% mortality for adult P. operculella 48 h after treatment. The adult female fecundity was inhibited by deltamethrin, esfenvalerate, emamectin benzoate, spinosad and dinotefuran, which were significantly different from the control. The adult longevities (7.3-8.3 days) were reduced by approximately 1-2 days compared with the control (9.3 day). The emamectin benzoate maintained 100% insecticidal activity 14 days after treatment and ethofenprox maintained over 90% activity 7 days after treatment.
This study was carried out to establish of environment-friendly control system and to survey the occurrence status of Ricania shanthungensis in Jeonnam province from 2016 to 2017. R. shanthungensis occurred at 1,344 ha in 61 towns of 15 cities in Gwangju and Jeonnam province. At four sites in the stationary area, the densities of eggmass and pupae were lower in 2017 than in 2016, the hatching rate decreased, and the first hatching time, emergence of adults, and the start of spawning tended to be slower. Telenomus sp., an egg parasitoid of R. shanthungensis, was found in most areas. Sunchon had the highest rate of 46.1%, followed by Muan 40.6, Goksung 29.2, Gurye 25.8, and Gwangju 17, respectively. The optimum spraying time for the control of R. shanthungensis was early March. The spraying material and the dilution multiples are 10 times of the machine oil at environmental friendly cultivation and 500 times of the chlorpriphosphate wp. at normal cultivation. When sprayed these materials, 95% of egg prohibited to hatch. There was more than 80% of the insecticidal effects on the organic materials of the machine oil emulsion, the Sophora root extrect + microbial extract agent, and the castor emulsion. For adults, Sophora root extrect + microbial extract, neem extract, and machine oil were better. Four kinds of chemical pesticides such as dinotefuran wp were effective for nymph and adult control. We have developed an adult catching device using the most preferred daylight color and behavioral habits of R. shanthungensis. The capture device consisted of two daylight compact lamps (30W and 20W), a yellow plate, and a catcher using water, and caught about 700 individuals a day. Based on the above results, we have established a system for controlling and life cycle of R. shanthungensis in Jeonnam province.
This study was conducted to determine the effect of temperatures on the egg and nymphal development, adult longevity and oviposition of bean bug, Riptortus clavatus Thunberg, using Saealkong seed as food sources in fibrous nylon-tube at four different temperatures (20, 24, 28 and $32^{\circ}C$). Hatchability showed the highest value of 100% at $28^{\circ}C$ and decreased with increasing temperature. Egg duration ranged from 7 days at $32^{\circ}$ to 16.7 days at $20^{\circ}C$. Instar duration was longer with increasing instar stage. Nymphal duration was 38 days at $20^{\circ}C$, 30 days at $24^{\circ}C$, 23 days at $28^{\circ}C$, and 18 days at $32^{\circ}C$ Emergence rates to adult were 16, 41, 72 and 68% at 20, 24, 28 and $32^{\circ}C$, respectively. Female adult longelity ranged from a minimum 20 days at $20^{\circ}C$ to a maximum 63 days at $28^{\circ}C$, while the longevity of male ranged from 19 days at $20^{\circ}C$ to 60 days at $28^{\circ}C$. Preoviposition duration was shorter with increasing temperature and ranged from 11 days at $20^{\circ}C$ to 5 days at $32^{\circ}C$. Total number of eggs laid per female ranged from a minimum 21 eggs at $20^{\circ}C$ to a maximum 67 eggs at $28^{\circ}C$. Consequently, the estimated lower threshold tempeatures of each developmental stage were $10.3^{\circ}C$ for egg, and 9.3, 12.7, 10.0, 11.0 and 8.7 for the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th instar, respectively.
This thesis focuses on Wandeuki and Elegant Lies - novels written by Kim Ryeo-reong and adapted into the film by Director Lee Han; this thesis analyzes the process of storytelling being transformed as the media is converted. Also, this thesis discusses cultural-political implications of transmedia storytelling where different narrative responses coexist concerning post-IMF family disorganization and "individualization." First of all, this thesis critically reviews existing discourses on the concept of transmedia storytelling and refers to 'transfictionality' the narratological concept of Marie-Laure Ryan in order to look into media conversion storytelling that starts from original novels. The novels Wandeuki and Elegant Lies show two aspects of "individualization" that adopts existential conditions of family disorganization. Wandeuki deviates from patriarchal family romance through self-discovery and exhibits loose family bond, which is something similar to companionship of close individuals. Elegant Lies shows individualization of pain by portraying a teenager who found herself completely isolated, while showing that it is impossible for the people left behind to mourn. On the other hand, director Lee Han's films and show stories in which family members, who are confronting family dissolution, rediscover and restore their families against family dissolution. The film promotes the expansion of family community through multicultural identity, and the film completes condolence of the people left behind by having the remaining families survive as survivors of suicide. The storyworld of the novels puts emphasis on 'self-discovery' of individual adolescents, while the storyworld of the movies puts emphasis on 'rediscovery of family'. Through transformation of storytelling - especially the redesigning of narrative structures called "modification" - transmedia storytelling shows that the relationship between media-converted texts is far from "faithful representation," but rather, shows conflicting themes and perspectives. With a reference point of 'the emergence of character' transmedia storytelling, which is predicated on the original work but aims to free itself from the original work by transforming storytelling through media conversion, opens up polyphonic storyworld by creating heterogeneous voices. In the post IMF-era, where uncertainty mounts over family dissolution and individualization, polyphonic storyworld created by transmedia storytelling provides an opportunity to experience disparate desires over individual freedom/risk and complacency toward community. We can call this the cultural-political implication of transmedia storytelling based on transferring, transcednding, and transforming.

When Aphidius colemani mummies were stored at four different temperatures (6, 8, 10 and 12 ± 1℃), they could be stored at 8℃ for 10 days with over 50% adult emergence. A number of mummies of Rhopalosiphum padi parasitized by A. colemani adults emerged from mummies after 8℃ storage clearly reduced with increasing duration of storage and especially declined with storage longer than 13 days showing < 20% parasitism. However, there were no differences in aphid parasitisms by A. colemani on 3 to 10 days after storage. Over 3 day storage at 8℃ was adversely affected on survival of A. colemani adults. Therefore, cold storage of A. colemani adults is considered as an unsuitable method for mass production of biological control agent. When 2-day-old Meteorus pulchricornis cocoons were stored at 6, 8 and 10 ± 1℃, it was possible to be stored up to 63 days at 8℃, showing the highest emergence. With increasing of cold storage duration at 8℃, parasitism on 2nd and 3rd larval instar of Spodoptera litura by stored M. pulchricornis significantly reduced. However, parasitic rate by M. pulchricornis stored for 2 weeks was similar to that by 1 week stored ones. Therefore, M. pulchricornis cocoons could be stored up to 2 weeks at 8℃ for stockpiling before release.

This study was conducted to investigate the biological characteristics of Phanuromyia ricaniae (Hemiptera: Platygastroidea), an egg parasitoid of Ricania sp. (Hemiptera: Ricaniidae) as a biological control agent to control Ricania sublimata. The developmental period of P. ricaniae was 3.8 days for eggs, 11.1 days for larvae, and 16.3 days for pupae at 25℃, and 3.4 days for eggs, 7.8 days for larvae, and 15.3 days for pupae at 30℃. Except for the larval stage, the developmental periods were not significantly different, but the egg-to-pupa period at 30℃ was significantly shorter than that at 25℃. P. ricaniae emerged at the photophase in 24 hours, but not at the scotophase. A higher emergence rate (34.5%) was seen from 10:00 to 12:00 after the lights were turned. The female-to-male ratio of P. ricaniae was 3:1. The longevity of P. ricaniae adults was 49.0 days for females and 44.0 days for males at 20℃, 27.6 days for females and 28.4 days for males at 25℃, and 18 days for females and 14.0 days for males at 30℃. Its longevity at a low temperature (20℃) was longer than that at higher temperatures (25 and 30℃). Adult females laid eggs during all days except from 00:00-02:00 (scotophase time). The ovipositional distribution rate was 26.1% from 20:00 to 22:00, which was the peak, and the next peak was 15.7% at 10:00 to 12:00. P. ricaniae showed arrhenotokous parthenogenesis in which unfertilized eggs develop into males. Therefore, the results suggest that P. ricaniae may be a biological control agent for R. sublimata.
This study was carried out to investigate the ecology of Nesodiprion japonlcus (Mmm,m) damaging many conifers The results obtained were as follows: Nesod~prion japonicus (Maun) emerged two times for a year and their body was black m both sexes. A female (10.1t 1 2 mm) adult was larger than a male (9.9t 0.8 mm) one in the body size. The size of antenna as plumose of female was different from that of male. Duration of egg was 14.35 1 2 days, egg was In the shape of banana and red~sh-yellow,a nd its sire was 2.4+ 0.2 mm long. Duration of larvae was 30.35 2.1 days and its slze 20.15 2.2 mm, body was green with grey~sh shipes on the dorsal and lateral aspect, the tip of front and hind was yellow and head was brown with a dark-p~gmented area. Mature larva turned into light green and get lost a dark-pigmented area of head. The firstly-emerged larva made cocoons on the base of leaves and the secondawemerged larva among fallen leaves Duration of prepupa was 14.3f 2.0 days and their size 10.15 2.3 mm Duration of pupa was 12.2+ 1.3 days and its size 10.lt0.2mm.

경우 서비스 이용을 제한할 수 있습니다.
- 2년 이상 서비스를 이용한 적이 없는 경우
- 기타 정상적인 서비스 운영에 방해가 될 경우
② 상기 이용제한 규정에 따라 서비스를 이용하는 회원에게 서비스 이용에 대하여 별도 공지 없이 서비스 이용의
일시정지, 이용계약 해지 할 수 있습니다.
제 17 조 (전자우편주소 수집 금지)
회원은 전자우편주소 추출기 등을 이용하여 전자우편주소를 수집 또는 제3자에게 제공할 수 없습니다.
제 6 장 손해배상 및 기타사항
제 18 조 (손해배상)
당 사이트는 무료로 제공되는 서비스와 관련하여 회원에게 어떠한 손해가 발생하더라도 당 사이트가 고의 또는 과실로 인한 손해발생을 제외하고는 이에 대하여 책임을 부담하지 아니합니다.
제 19 조 (관할 법원)
서비스 이용으로 발생한 분쟁에 대해 소송이 제기되는 경우 민사 소송법상의 관할 법원에 제기합니다.
[부 칙]
1. (시행일) 이 약관은 2016년 9월 5일부터 적용되며, 종전 약관은 본 약관으로 대체되며, 개정된 약관의 적용일 이전 가입자도 개정된 약관의 적용을 받습니다.
