A comparative study on Edge and HTML 5.0 of their merits and demerits (Adobe Edge와 HTML 5.0의 장단점 비교 연구)

  • 인터넷 시대가 가속화 되면서 파편화 되었던 web에 대한 규격 통일을 외치는 목소리가 높아졌고 그에 따른 대안으로 HTML5.0이 부상하게 되었다. 그로인해 Adobe Flash는 통일 규격에 벗어나게 되었고 더 나가 보안에도 문제가 있어 점차 퇴출당하고 있는 실정이다. 이에 대한 대안으로 Adobe사에서는 Edge를 런칭하게 되었다. Edge는 Flash를 대신하여 웹 애니메이션을 빠르게 만들 수 있는 프로그램이며, 웹 전용 디자인 페이지는 간단하면서 효과적인 css 디자인 및 레이아웃 특징을 나타낼 수 있다. 또한 edge는 html5에 대한 전반적인 지식이 없어도 html5 기반이 되는 다양한 애니메이션 결과물들을 만들어 낼 수 있는 장점이 있다. 그리고 edge에서는 Flash 플레이어 플러그인이 없어도 웹 사이트에서 사용이 가능하다. 본 논문에서는 Adobe edge와 HTML 5.0을 비교 분석하여 각각의 장, 단점을 분석해보고, Adobe edge가 어떤 점에 있어서 HTML5.0보다 비교우위에 있는지, 혹은 더 나가 Flash나 HTML5.0의 대체제가 될 수 있는지에 대해 알아보며 프로그래머들 측면이 아닌 디자이너 측면에서 효용성에 대해 알아보고자 한다.

  • Adobe Flash는 웹 사이트에서 GIF 애니메이션의 한계를 극복하기 위해 나온 벡터 기반 멀티미어 제작 툴로 기능에 비해 가볍고 사용자와 상호 작용할 수 있는 콘텐츠 저작 도구로 각광을 받아왔다. 그 결과 웹상에서 멀티미디어 플랫폼으로 중요한 역할을 차지해 왔으나 최근 HTML 5.0의 부상으로 Flash 무용론이 일반인들에게 널리 퍼지게 되었다. 본 논문에서는 Adobe Flash와 HTML 5.0을 비교 분석하여 각각의 장, 단점을 분석해보고, 과연 Flash가 앞으로 쓸모없어질 지에 대한 논의를 해보고자 한다.

A Study on Flash Mobile Game Application Using Adobe AIR (어도비 에어를 이용한 플래시 모바일 게임 애플리케이션에 관한 연구)

  • This study makes a proposal about Flash mobile game applications using Adobe AIR. In developing a mobile game, the developer programs in Flash ActionScript, and distributes and publishes the program using Adobe AIR so that the game can be played on an Android mobile device. In order to run the game, the player downloads and installs Android Adobe AIR onto the mobile device and sets up the published app. This study designed and implemented a mobile game application and showed that a mobile game is executed on a smart phone. This outcome may be applicable to various genres of apps. Moreover, this study analyzed the trends of mobile games, focusing on their genres and characteristics, and according to the results, most of them were mobile games using Kakao Talk. The analysis results also showed that the popularity ranking of games varied little among sites.

  • The damage is increasing due to many encroachment accidents caused by increasingly sophisticated cyber attacks. Many institutions and businesses lack early response to invest a lot of resources in the infrastructure for incident detection. The initial response of an intrusion is to identify the route of attack, and many cyber attacks are targeted at software vulnerabilities. Therefore, analyzing the artifacts of a Windows system against software vulnerabilities and classifying the analyzed data can be utilized for rapid initial response. Therefore, the remaining artifacts upon entry of attacks by software are classified, and artifact grouping is presented for use in analysis of encroachment accidents.

Development of a Flash-based Schedule Management Tool for Smart Devices

  • Schedule management of construction work is critical to completing construction projects within a given period of time. Many efforts have been made and multiple tools have been developed to support the management of construction projects using smart devices such as smartphones and tablet PCs. This study proposed a method for managing construction schedules via a smart device using Flash. The interactive and graphic properties of Flash enable the development of an app that can allow a field manager to manage schedules easily and efficiently. A prototype was implemented using Adobe Flex Builder, and a sample network was applied in a smartphone. It is convenient for a construction manager to manage construction schedules using the tool because Flash controls graphic components easily. In further studies, network diagrams such as CPM (Critical Path Method) should be developed and applied to the app.

  • Schedule management of construction work is important in order to complete construction projects within a given period of time. Many efforts have been made and many tools have been developed in order to manage construction projects by a smart device such as smart phones and smart pads. This research proposed a basic design to manage construction schedules via a smart device using Flash. The interactive and graphic property of Flash enables a field manager to manage schedules easily and efficiently. A basic structure was designed for a user to be able to make and change a schedule by touching the smart device's screen. And a prototype was implemented by Adobe Flash/Flex Builder, it is applied to a sample network in a smart phone.

  • It had been longer that the design mock-up was made mainly in order to test products. These days, it seems to be main stream that the working mockup is done because designers consider not only the design but also usability. In this study, the modular hardware toolkit, complimentary with Adobe Flash, was developed so that it solves the problem, the electronic hardware which the designers should struggle to make by themselves. This result thing could help the time of the design process to be short and contribute to make robust system rapidly.

  • Most of traffic management systems include the map-based traffic information services using World Wide Web. Geographic Information System is an efficient tool to build a map-based system. However, many traffic information service systems have own independent maps for graphic/animation softwares such as Adobe Flash. These systems make it difficult to manage modifications of maps. In this paper, we suggest a new GIS-based traffic information service system without these problems. The proposed system makes the efficient use of GIS map data for traffic information service because a map display engine is separated from map data that is transferred after real-time conversion.
