  • 등가회로 모델을 바탕으로 Jerusalem AMC의 대역폭에 대하여 살펴보았다. 등가회로 모델과 어드미턴스 기울기 (Y')를 이용하여 다양한 파라미터의 변화에 따른 대역폭을 분석하였다. 기판의 두께 및 투자율은 대역폭을 향상시키는 반면, FSS grid의 부하(loading)에 의해 대역폭은 감소한다. FSS의 두 부하 중에서, 커패시터 부하가 인덕터 부하에 비해 대역폭 특성이 더 우수한 특성을 가진다. 인덕터 부하에 따른 대역폭 감소를 완화하기 위해 단일편파 특성을 가지는 AMC를 제안하였다.

Laser-induced Damage to Polysilicon Microbridge Component

  • Based on the typical pixel structure and parameters of a polysilicon uncooled bolometer, the absorption rate of a polysilicon microbridge infrared detector for 10.6 ㎛ laser energy was calculated through the optical admittance method, and the thermal coupling model of a polysilicon microbridge component irradiated by far infrared laser was established based on theoretical formulas. Then a numerical simulation study was carried out by means of finite element analysis for the actual working environment. It was found that the maximum temperature and maximum stress of the microbridge component are approximately exponentially changing with the laser power of the irradiation respectively and that they increase monotonically. The highest temperature zone of the model is gradually spread by the two corners of the bridge surface that are not connected to the bridge legs, and the maximum stress acts on both sides of the junction of the microbridge legs and the substrate. The mechanism of laser-induced hard damage to polysilicon detectors is the melting damage caused by high temperature. This paper lays the foundation for the subsequent study of the interference mechanism of the laser on working state polysilicon detectors.

Extraction of Substrate Resistance Parameters for RF MOSFETs Based on Three-Port Measurement

  • In this work, a new method for extracting substrate parameters of RF MOSFETs based on 3-port measurement is presented using device simulation. A T-type substrate resistance network is used. 3-port Y-parameter analyses were performed on the equivalent circuit of RF MOSFETs. All the components in the RF MOSFETs when the device is turned off were extracted directly from the 3-port device simulation data. The small-signal output admittance $Y_{22}$ can be well modeled up to 40 GHz. From the 3-port simulation and modeling results, it was verified that the proposed equivalent circuit and parameter extraction method was more accurate than the single substrate resistance model.

압전션트 댐핑을 이용한 지능패널의 다중 모드 소음 저감 (Multi-mode Noise Reduction of Smart Panels Using Piezoelectric Shunt Damping)

  • This paper presents the multi-mode noise reduction of smart panels of which passive piezoelectric shunt damping is introduced. For the piezoelectric shunt damping, a passive shunt circuit composed of inductors and a load resistor is connected to the piezoelectric patch mounted on the panel structure. An electrical impedance model is introduced for the system based on the measured electrical impedance, and the criteria for maximum energy dissipation at the shunt circuit is used to find the optimal shunt parameters. For multi-mode shunt damping, the shunt circuit is modified by the introduction of a block circuit. Also the optimal location of the piezoelectric patch is studied by finite element analysis in order to cause the maximum admittance from the patch for each mode of the structure. An acoustic test is performed for the panels and a remarkable noise reduction is obtained in multiple modes of the panel structure.

  • The sandwich type piezoelectric resonator is widely used for the acoustic sources of underwater acoustic transducers, whose important design parameters are shapes, materials, dimensions and supporting methods. Practical design method of resonators consists of manufacturing, experiments and modification so that it requires much time and expenses. In this study, an analytical design method of sandwich type piezoelectric resonators is presented based on the nonlinear optimization technique. The proposed method is applied to the design of an example resonator model in order to maximize the output powers. For the investigation of performance according to the division and their electrical connection, three types of resonators are manufactured. In addition, their dynamic characteristics such as electrical admittance and transmitting voltage response are measured and compared.

  • In this paper, the transmitted noise reduction of smart panels of which passive piezoelectric shunt damping is used, is experimentally studied. Shunt damping experiments are based on the measured electrical impedance model. A passive shunt circuit composed of inductors, and a load resistor is devised to dissipate the maximum energy into the joule heat energy. For multi-mode shunt damping, the shunt circuit is redesigned by adding a blocking circuit. Also the optimal location of the piezoelectric patch is studied by FEM in order to cause the maximum admittance from the patch for each mode of aluminum plate. In results, the transmitted sound pressure level of panels is efficiently reduced for multi-modes

  • In this paper the authors address the problem of comparing two different smart damping techniques using the numerical modelling of the electro-mechanical impedance for plate structures partially treated with active constrained layer damping treatments. The paper summarizes the modelling procedures including a finite element formulation capable of accounting for the observed behaviour. The example used is a smart cantilever plate structure containing a viscoelastic material (VEM) layer sandwiched between a piezoelectric constrained layer and the host vibrating plate. Comparisons are made between active constrained layer and active damping only and based on the resonance frequency amplitudes of the electrical admittance numerically evaluated at the surface of the piezoelectric model of the vibrating structure.

  • Chebyscheff다항식을 이용한 Rectangular Microstrip Patch Antenna Array을 제작하였다. 설계된 상대적 전류 분포는 1:2:2:1이고 Array Antenna의 입력 어드미턴스와 반사 손실은 급전 선로를 포함한 전송 선로 모델로부터 계산되었다. 계산된 공진 주파수 값은 측정 된값과 잘 일치하였다. 또한 이상회로를 이용한 전자적 빔 Scanning 방법이 제시되었따.

  • 십자형으로 배열된 구형 마이크로스트립 어레이 안테나의 복사패턴을 이론적으로 수하였으며, 이는 기존의 전송선 모델과 유전체로 채워진 평행-평판 도파로부터 구하였다. 그리고 십자형으로 배열된 5-패치 어레이 안테나의 복사패턴의 이론치는 실험치와 비교한 결과 양호한 결과를 얻었다.

  • This paper presents a fault location algorithm for distribution feeder systems. Distribution feeders include single phase and three phase laterals. The proposed algorithm achieves a high accuracy by continuously updating voltage and current phasor using the symmetrical components and admittance load model.
