The paper discusses the nature of Knowledge Organization Systems (KOSs) and shows how these can support digital library users. It demonstrates processes related to integration of KOS like the Dewey Decimal Classification, $22^{nd}$ edition (DDC22) in DSpace software (http://www.dspace.org/) for organizing and retrieving (browsing and searching) scholarly objects. An attempt has been made to use the DDC22 available in Bengali language and highlights the required mechanisms for system-level integration. It may help a repository administrator to build an IDR (Institutional Digital Repository) integrated with SKOS-enabled multilingual subject access systems for supporting subject descriptors based indexing (DC.Subject metadata element), structured navigation (browsing) and efficient searching.

There is no overall understanding about the road marking situation in Korean national highway nowadays. In addition road marking increases risk in traffic accidents especially while it's raining at night because of diffused reflection. So administrator has a lot of problems to maintain and make a decision about the road marking. In this paper, literature review and field investigation about the road marking are carried out from the viewpoint of road safe and the propriety in retroreflective performance of the road marking is grasped. Also, improvement methods about retroreflective performance of the road marking are proposed on the basis of the result in field investigation.

This paper presents the evaluation procedures and the estimation method for the estimation of optimal rebate level for EE(Energy Efficiency) programs. The penetration amount of each appliance is estimated by applying price function to preferred diffusion model resulted from model compatibility test. To estimate the optimal rebate level, two objective functions which express the maximum energy saving and operation benefit are introduced and by multi-objective function which can simultaneously consider two objective functions the optimal rebate level of each appliance is estimated. And then, using the decided rebate level and each penetration amount, the priority order for reasonable investment of each high-efficiency appliance is estimated compared to the results of conventional method. Finally, using a benefit/cost analysis based on California standard practice manual, the economic analysis is implemented for the four perspectives such as participant, ratepayer impact measure, program administrator cost and total resource cost.

본 연구에서는 통합 빌링의 장점을 그대로 계승하고 커스터마이징을 최소화하는 다국어 버전 빌링 시스템에 대한 연구와 시제품을 개발하고자 한다. 해외 시장에서의 빌링 시스템 경쟁력 강화 및 성공적인 사업 지원 수행을 위해 영어, 일어, 한국어 등 데이터베이스 기반의 UI 메시지 데이터 추가만으로 다국어 버전이 지원되는 빌링 시스템, 그리고 다양한 통신 사업에 대한 통합 과금 정책을 지원하는 패키지화된 형태의 빌링 시스템을 목표로 한다.

The goal of this study was to examine the three components of a laboratory class cycle that empowered teachers to change their teaching practices. Six teachers and their administrator in an elementary school in the southeastern United States participated in the study. All the teachers were interviewed, and their mathematics lessons were observed at the end of each cycle of laboratory classes. The study revealed how planning, observing, and critiquing mathematics lessons as a team assisted the teachers' learning and teaching. We identified opportunities for the teachers to experiment with different teaching approaches, and we found that support from the team and from the school were key factors for the laboratory class cycle to function effectively.

기존에 연구된 사이버 물리 시스텀을 위한 동적 제어 미들웨어에서는 구성요소인 제어 장치 (Controller)가 동일한 지역망 내에 위치한 Controller를 검색하고자 할 때, 검색 하고자 하는 Controller카 자신의 상위 제어 및 관리 장치 (C&A, Controller & Administrator) 와 다른 C&A의 하위 노드인 경우, 전역의 C&A에게 모두 검색 메시지를 전송하는 심각한 문제가 존재 하였다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 비효율적인 문제를 해결하고자 같은 지역망 내의 C&A간 검색 메시지를 전달 (Forwarding) 하는 방식을 도입한다. 이를 통해 같은 지역망 내에 존재하는 Controller 검색을 위한 네트워크 트래픽을 크게 감소시킬 수 있다.

인트라넷을 사용하는 메일 시스템은 악의적인 서버 관리자 또는 제 3자가 메일을 해킹할 경우 모든 메일 내용이 그대로 노출 된다. 이를 해결하기 위해서 대칭키 암호 알고리즘을 이용한 안전한 인트라넷 메일 암호 프로토콜에 대해서 제안한다. 제안한 프로토콜은 메일 내용을 송 수신하는 쌍방 간의 합의된 세션 키로 암 복호화하기 때문에 악의적인 의도로 메일에 접근했을 경우에도 세션 키가 노출되지 않는 한 메일 내용을 알 수 없다.

We carry out a demonstration project to verify performance of a Home- Smart Cabinet Panel(H-SCP) at the child care facility. It is difficult to prevent an electrical disaster using a existing cabinet panel because electrical events are invisible and unforeseeable. So we construct a integrated information system with a Home-Smart Cabinet Panel(H-SCP) for management of low-voltage customers. The integrated information system with the H-SCP maintain the transmitted data from H-SCP, alert a electrical event to a administrator and show a state of customer health in real time respectively. A manager of electrical safety can prevent electrical disaster to maintain electrical facilities after analysis on the integrated information system.

The purpose of this study is to survey the development trends of school libraries in the western world namely U. S. A., Canada by analyzing such items as education and environment, staff, policy, standard and professional organization, and to find out how and why they were able to maintain efficient library services. The major findings are summarized as follows : (1) There are school district supervisor whose functions are to direct and supervise the school libraries in the district. (2) The school district supervisor, school administrator, Teacher and Teacher librarian all recognize the importance of its educational role and cooperate together for the development. (3) They gether statistical data on school library for continuous revision of statement, guideline and standard. (4) Not only the educational organization and the library organization but also the private foundation conduct systematic research and extend financial aid for the development of school library. (5) The Compulsory Codes and pertinent laws have been enacted to promote school library development.

At this study, we are developing a possible control system through remote monitoring for fire protection in various chemical factory facilities. It's possible to do real time confirmation of a normal operation presence of the various equipment installed in a chemical factory through the internet network at a fire fighting head office, an area fire department and a chemical factory situation room using this remote monitoring control system. When occurring, abnormal operation is the remote monitoring control system, which can check this immediately and notify the situation room administrator. After it was tested using developed remote monitoring control system, the remote monitoring for which the internet network was used confirmed possible.
