An Auto-Focusing Method for CCM Test Handlers (소형 카메라 모듈용 테스트 핸들러의 자동 초점 조절 방법)

  • This paper proposes an auto-focusing method for production of compact camera module (CCM). The CCM test handlers are mainly used in the final CCM production stage to test and adjust the lens focus of CCMs. To improve the productivity of CCM test handlers, we propose the auto-focusing method adjusting the lens focus efficiently. The max-min-difference (MMD) method is newly developed to compute the focus value efficiently, and two-stage searching method is also developed to find the best focus position quickly. Experimental results are presented to verify the usefulness of proposed method.

  • This thesis introduces a buffer management method that could be used to provide better sound quality for Internet phone terminals. Proposed method used the fuzzy system for dynamically adjust the number of jitter This method actively responds to both the compression algorithms that are used by the terminals, as well as to the received data to provide an improvement in sound quality. In order to confirm the validity of the suggested algorithm, comparisons of the performance have been made between the existing buffer management method and this intelligent method in various network settings.

  • This study secured comparable sales transaction information of technology transfer corresponding to an active market conditions and proposes a method to assess the similarity of technologies with regard to comparability of technology transfer based on these cases information. In order to analyze the association and similarity between target technology and sales transactions, it proposes the significant factors affecting royalty decision and the cosine coefficient method by industry categories. It also proposes the method to adjust royalty, which means that this method unlike the conventional method provides clear standards to valuators in order to revise royalty. Therefore, it offers a solution to the difficulties of applying the market approach for a lot of valuators that have wanted to apply it and objective method to enhance the reliability of the value of intangible asset evaluated by the market approach.

  • On the process of cross-media color reproduction, a key feature is the use of gamut mapping techniques to adjust the different color gamuts between displays and printers. Even though a nunber of gamut mapping algorithms were published in the past, only limited colorimetric evaluation of them has been carried out to date. In this paper, the multi-anchor points clipping method(MAPC) was proposed as a new gamut mapping algorithm compensating the defects of the current algorithms such as nearest point clipping method(NPC), centroid clipping method(SLIN), straight clipping method(LLIN) and maximum chroma clipping method(CUSP).

  • This paper presents the intelligent modeling method of chaotic systems using a DNA coding based wavelet neural network(WNN). Generally the mathematical teaming method such as gradient descent method is used to adjust the parameters of WNN, which has much computational cost. To overcome this kind of problem, we use the DNA coding method as the learning method of WNN, and then combine it with the WNN. Finally, to verify the efficiency of our method, we apply the proposed DNA coding based wavelet neural network for modeling of Duffing system, which is a representative continuous-time chaotic system.

  • In this paper, a novel MPPT(Maximum Power Point Tracking) algorithm for power of PV(Photovoltaic) systems is presented using a boost converter for a connected single phase inverter. On the basic principle of power generation for the PV(photovoltaic) module, the model of a PV system is presented. On the basis of this model, simulation of this PV system and algorithms for maximum power point tracking are described by utilizing a boost converter to adjust the output voltage of the PV module. Based on output power of a boost converter, single phase inverter uses predicted current control to control four IGBT#s switch in full bridge. Furthermore, a low cost control system for solar energy conversion using the DSP is developed, based on the boost converter to adjust the output voltage of the PV module. The effectiveness of the proposed inverter system is confirmed experimentally and by means of simulation. Finally, experimental results confirm the superior performance of the proposed method.

Psychosocial Adjustment in Families with Kidney Donor or Recipient (신장공여자와 신장수혜자를 가진 가족들의 사회심리적 적응)

  • The purpose of this study was to generate a grounded theory of how families with kidney donor or recipient coped with kidney transplantations. Interview data from twelve families involved in kidney transplants was analyzed using the grounded theory method. Data analysis revealed that “protecting the family” was the main theme that represented family member experiences. In order to maintain family function and to protect the family from breaking up, family members had to adjust the family structure from the traditional style of a husband-centered family, to one that was patient health -centered. The process of this adjustment was a very long and difficult one, taking several years from the recognition of the kidney disease to the kidney transplants. Family members, especially spouses, employed nine different strategies to deal with various problems and conflicts which occurred during the process : 1) paying attention to the patient's illness and complications ; 2) accepting the patient's illness as the family's illness as well ; 3) managing the patient's illness and complications that occured ; 4) being thrifty ; 5)supporting the kidney donor ; 6) accepting and replacing the lost roles of the patient ; 7) keeping composure and encouraging the patient ; 8) sustaining the patient's independence ; 9) self-restraining sexual desires. These findings suggest that there is a developmental process where family members adjust to a kidney transplant over time. There is also a need for increased social and psychological health services for all family members over the course of kidney transplants.

Minimum Network Connection Cost Algorithm for Partially Survivable Networks Problem of Cellular Telecommunication Systems

  • This paper suggests heuristic algorithm with O(mn) polynomial time complexity using Excel for partially survivable networks optimization problem of cellular telecommunication systems with m cells and n hubs. This problem only can be get the solution using linear programming or LINGO software package. The proposed algorithm connects the cell to hubs in ring network with minimum cost as the connection diversity of each cell. If the traffic of ring network (T) is T>2K for ring capacity (K), we adjust the maximum cost hub to MTSO that has a ascending order of (D/DC)/${\Delta}^+$ cell with each cell traffic demand (D) and ${\Delta}^+$=(MTSO cost-maximum cost hub) than we get the $T{\leq}2K$. Finally, we adjust MTSO to the removed maximum cost hub for the cell with 2K-$T{\geq}$(D/DC) and $_{max}{\Delta}^-$. While we using like this simple method, the proposed algorithm can be get the same optimal solution for experimental data as linear programing and LINGO software package.

  • A pulse with modulation(PWM) that keeps a constant angle of dwell and adjust duty ratio is a good method to control a speed of SRM. And a method of one pulse control is proper a operation on range of high speed in SRM for a good energy efficiency. Because PWM method is more safety than one pulse method, conversion of those is best choice according the speed range. So, some algorithm is need for smooth conversion of the mode of control. This paper presents a factor of conversion that proper the conversion of control mode between PWM and one pulse method This factor is from estimation of torque and proper at the variable range of conversion and show the better conversion characteristic than constant factor of conversion.
