  • This study is to examine general roller and rotation in using self-adhesive waterproofing sheet. Using self-adhesive waterproofing sheet is very comfortable in a waterproofing construction site. However, In mechanical construction, self-adhesive waterproofing sheet occurred that problem for using. It induce many water leakage problem. So, We make Rotation Roller for to solve the this problem, and then Comparison with Physical properties of Self-Adhesive waterproofing sheet in applied General Roller and Rotation Roller.

접착이음의 계면덧살에 대한 응력특이성 해석 (Analysis of Stress Singularity for the Excess Adhesive of Interface in Adhesively Bonded Joint)

  • The stress singularity for the excess adhesive on interface of adhesively bonded joint was investigated by using the 2-dimensional elastic boundary element method (BEM). To establish a reasonable strength evaluation method and a fracture criterion for the excess adhesive of interface in adhesively bonded joint, it is necessary to evaluate fracture parameters with various bonding conditions. Under the variations of adhesively bonded thickness (h) and diameter (d) for the excess adhesive, a stress analysis was performed, and from the results, the stress singularity index (${\lambda}$) and the stress singularity factor (${\Gamma}$) were calculated. The variations have a great influences on the stress singularity for the excess adhesive of interface in adhesively bonded joint, and the ${\Gamma}$ is reduced as the "h" and "d" increase.

  • The bonding strength evaluation of the light weight materials for an electrical vehicle has been performed through the T-peel joint test in which the design paramete- rs such as joint style, adherend type, adherend thickness, adhesive thickness, and adhesive type are considered. It is experimentally observed that the peel strength of joint increases with the increase of the adherend thickness. With the increase of the adhesive thickness, however, the peel strength of joint increases a little. Aluminum-FRP adherend combination shows such higher peel strength than that of Aluminum-Aluminum adherend combination. For the adhesive bonded joint, the results of FEM analysis agree with those of experiment. The adhesive bonded joint reinfored with a rivet gives higher peel strength than that of the joint without rivet.

  • Most of the construction adhesive may contain harmful component to the human body with an organic adhesive. In addition, when the adhesive caused hydroquinone, alkyl benzophenone, etc, also it raises the skin diseases to workers. Therefore, the inorganic adhesive development is necessary. This study was a study to know adhesive strength properties that adhesive using a magnesium oxide according to the addition ratio of the retarder. It has experiments to two types of magnesium oxide and type and ratio of retarder differently.

Improved Adhesive Strength of Vulcanized Rubber upon Laser Treatments

  • Surface treatment using an excimer pulse laser beam has been conducted in order to increase the adhesive strength of vulcanized rubber. The adhesive strength increased with increasing the number of irradiation time with laser pulses and reached to 1,500 N/m after 100 cycles of irradiation. Increased in energy density was directly proportional to the improvement of the adhesive strength. Maximum value of the adhesive strength of 1,500 N/m obtained at the energy density of 176 mJ/$\textrm{cm}^2$. We conclude that an increased energy density improves in both the surface area and adhesive strength.

  • This study is to investigate adhesive properties depending on the temperature, humidity, and freeze-thraw of the Steel plate adhesive strengthening method by the epoxy resin. The results are summarized as following. For the temperature variation, the debonding failure appear only after 1 cycle of temperature varoation because the coefficient of thermal expansion of the epoxy resin is comparatively large, and the bonding strength is decreased. The deformation properties and ultrasonic pulse velocity on each materials are similar until 4 cycles on the dry and moisture test. As the freeze-thraw test, the epoxy resin is degraded easily subjected to freeze-thaw cycle, comparatively easy, so the debonding failure may occur in short term because of the freeze-thaw repeatition.p

  • The structure of the RC structure is actively reinforcing the structure of the building which has suffered from aging, artificial and natural damage of the building. Among various reinforcement methods, epoxy adhesive is used to attach FRP in FRP reinforcement method which is reinforcing by attaching FRP to the structural part. At this time, the epoxy adhesive having a low critical temperature has a sudden adhesive failure upon exposure to heat, and thus, the development of an inorganic fireproof adhesive having a high critical temperature has progressed. Therefore, in this study, the compositional change of inorganic fire - resistant adhesive exposed to high temperature heat was analyzed by XRD.

  • Advanced adhesive technologies and demanding applications of adhesive joints can no longer be developed successfully by the traditional "trial and error" approach. Appropriate technical solutions require reference to a reliable basis of well-established scientific knowledge about the elementary mechanisms of adhesion (i.e. the 'fundamental adhesion') as they are responsible for the capability of the compound w transmit mechanical force between the adhesive and the substrate surface (i.e. the 'practical adhesion'). Adhesion mechanisms also influence the formation of polymer structure in the adhesive and the resulting macromolecular dynamics in the interphase that is formed in the adhesive near to the substrate. These manifold molecular factors rule the macroscopic behaviour of an adhesive bond line in terms of mechanical and other physical properties as well as in terms of durability. This paper reviews the level of refinement that understanding of fundamental adhesion has achieved up to now.

  • Uniformity of the wafer temperature is one of the important factors in etching process. Plasma, chucking force, backside helium pressure and the surface temperature of ESC(electrostatic chuck) affect the wafer temperature. ESC consists of several layers of structure. Each layer has own thermal resistance and the Si-adhesive layer has highest thermal resistance among them. In this work, the temperature distribution of ESC was analyzed by 3-D FEM with various defects and the thickness deviation of the Si-adhesive layer. The result with Si-adhesive layer with the low center thickness deviation shows modified temperature distribution of ESC surface.

  • Recently, use of adhesive bonding technology is increased to achieve the multi-material design for lightweight structure in automobile industry. In this paper, the fracture strength of adhesive has been studied with the single lap shear test conducted at different temperatures. The joint specimens are made from Al 5052 and SPRC 440 bonded with structural epoxy adhesive. The operating temperature has been considered up to $150[^{\circ}C]$ and the single lap shear test has been conducted with 5mm/min tensile rate. Fracture strength of adhesive bonded joint has been decreased with increase of operating temperature. The fracture strength at the $100[^{\circ}C]$ was shown about half of that at room temperature.
