By using the improved Euler-Maclaurin summation formula and estimating the weight coefficients in this paper, a new dual Hardy-Hilbert's inequality and its reverse form are obtained, which are all with two pairs of conjugate exponents (p, q); (r, s) and a independent parameter ${\lambda}$. In addition, some equivalent forms of the inequalities are considered. We also prove that the constant factors in the new inequalities are all the best possible. As a particular case of our results, we obtain the reverse form of a famous Hardy-Hilbert's inequality.

Level II AFDA and Level III MCS reliability models are applied to analyze the stability of armor units on trading and coastal harbors in Korea. Hudson's formula and Van der Meer's formula are used in this reliability analysis. Also, probability density functions of reliability index and probability of failure are derived by the additional analysis. In addition, the partial safety factors of all harbors related to armor units can be straightforwardly evaluated by the inverse-reliability method. The upper and lower limits and average level of partial safety factors can be statistically investigated with the results of all cases applied in this paper. Therefore, it may be possible to design armor units of new breakwaters including the uncertainty of random variable and target level by using the present results.

As a first phase of plasma study intended for semiconductor processing research, we have studied the discharge phenomena. In particular, we have obtained a specific formula for the breakdown voltage as a function of the neutral state pressure of reactive gases. Our experimental results with H2,O2,Ar,CF4 seem ro verify this formula. In addition we find the voltage levels for various gases in the descending order of CF4>O2=Ar>H2 in high pressure region, while H2>CF4>O2>Ar in low pressure region. When H2 and CF4 were mixed, we observe the overall voltage dominated by the gas with lower breakdown volotage.

In this study, Matsuda's formula, which has been used to evaluate the acting load on the concrete pillar in 2-Arch tunnels, is investigated and a load reduction factor $({\alpha})$, which has been estimated from numerical parametric studies, is proposed for a better design of 2-Arch tunnels in the future. Numerical parametric studies show that the concrete pillar is subjected to a stress concentration on the excavation side during the first tunnel driving and when tunnel excavation is completed, the induced stress on the pillar in a poor quality of ground condition is 1.5 to 1.8 times the stress developed during the first tunnel driving. In addition, the numerical studies indicate that the acting load on the pillar is in the range of $14{\sim}83%$ of the load estimated by Matsuda's formula. From these results, a load reduction factor $({\alpha})$ is determined and it would make 2-Arch tunnel design more economically.

The aim of this study was to investigate adulteration of caprine milk products by bovine milk using biomolecular techniques with bovine-specific primers for the mitochondrial cytochrome b gene. Polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and real-time PCR assays were applied to caprine milk products including infant formula, city milk, and fermented milk. The results indicated that six out of the eight caprine infant formula products tested contained bovine milk components. In addition, two of the three tested caprine city milk products and two caprine fermented milk products were shown to be adulterated with bovine milk. Conventional PCR results corroborated with results obtained by real-time PCR. This study demonstrates that DNA-based species identification procedures would be useful and applicable in routine examinations of the dairy industry to ensure the quality and safety of dairy foods.

The mainstay in the management of mild to moderately dehydrated children is fast rehydration by using hypotonic ORS (oral rehydration solution) and complete resumption of normal diet, including lactose-containing formula after 4 hours rehydration. Since the majority of young children with uncomplicated acute diarrhea will tolerate large amounts of undiluted non-human milk, withholding food and milk from children during diarrhea is not recommended anymore, regarding time to resolution and diarrhea control. In addition, routine dilution of milk and routine use of lactose-free formula are not necessary after fast ORS therapy. Breastfed infants and children fed with solid foods may safely continue receiving their usual diets during diarrhea instead of gradual reintroduction of feeding. However, young infants or children with severe diarrhea or malnutrition should be carefully treated under supervision if fed with lactose containing, non-human milk exclusively.

This paper develops a methodology which can be used to quantify the combat effectiveness of the army C2A system by modifying C2 theory and using Air Defense Engagement Simulation. In this paper, by using Schutzer's C2 theory and Measures of Effectiveness, we modified the MOE formula he designed. Because the combat effectiveness by enhancement of C2(Command and Control) system will increase combat power of individual asset independently. In addition, we developed simulation analysis of air defense scenario by using Air Defense Engagement Simulation. The results show that modified the MOE formula is proper as compared with Air Defense Engagement Simulation method. The combat effectiveness can be obtained as a result of improved probability of detection and information accuracy through real-time information sharing and coordination by C2A system.

Objectives: In traditional medicine, Wolgukwhan has been used for the treatment of digestive system disease, such as indigestion, brash, ructation, nausea and vomiting. This study was purposed to investigate the effects of Wolgukwhan methnol extract (WGWM) on oxidative liver cell injury. Methods: In vivo assay, we administerated acetaminophen(500mg/kg, i.p.) to starved mice 24hrs after pretreatment of WGWM for 6days. In the liver homogenates, lipid peroxide and glutathione(GSH) levels were measured. In addition, activities of hepatic enzyme, such as catalase, glutathione peroxidase(GPX), glutathione S-transferase(GST) were measured in the hepatic mitochondrial and cytosolic fractions. Results: In vivo administeration of WGWM showed effective inhibition of acetaminophen induced lipid peroxidation and elevations of glutathione level. The acetaminophen treatment resulted in a decrease of catalase, GPX and GST activities. By contrast, WGWM pretreatment increased compare to those of untreated groups. Conclusions: These results suggested that WGWM might protect against lipid peroxidation by free radicals, destruction of hepatic cell membranes.

Samhwaja-hyangyakbang has been known as the book of herbalogy published by the man, Samhwaja. But there are no records about the additor, and the absence of the document, it is so difficult to be informed about the time when it published and other details. But in this document and Hyangyakgugeubbang, there are similar prescriptions to Sublingual Inflammation, Aphtose, Anthrax, Furoncle, Ulcer, Dysentery, etc. So the time it published is estimated to Goryo-dynasty Gojong epoch(1232-1251) when the Hyangyakgugeubbang was published. In addition, this document seems to be basis of Hyangyakjipseongbang, Because, Hyangyakjipseongbang quoted more than 140 provisions from this document. Prescriptions that are different from other books in dosage or taking method, took those of Biyebaekyobang. In explanation or classification of disease, this document almost copied those of Biyebaekyobang, so this document take Biyebaekyobang for origin and take Sikeuisimkam, Taepyungseonghyebang, etc, for reference.

An elastic stiffness formula of a leaf type holddown spring(HDS) assembly with a uniformly tapered width from $w_0$ to $w_14$ over the length, has been analytically derived based on Euler beam theory and Castigliano's theorem. Elastic stiffnesses of the tapered-width leaf type HDSs(TW-HDSs) designed in the same dimensional design spaces as the KOFA HDSs have been evaluated from the derived formula, in addition, a parametric study on the elastic stiffness of the TW-HDSs has been carried out. Analysis results show that, as the effects of axial and shear force on the elastic stiffness of He TW-HDSs have been 0.15~0.21% of the elastic stiffness, most of the elastic stiffness is attributed to the bending moment, and that elastic stiffnesses of the TW-HDSs have been about 32~33% higher than those of the KOFA HDSs. It is found that the number of leaves composing a HDS assembly could be lessened by one under the conditions that the TW-HDSs have been adopted in KOFA.
