Hierarchical Timing Analysis considering Global False Path

  • As the integrated circuit technology gets developed, a circuit size of more than thousands of transistors becomes normal. A hierarchical design is unavoidable due to a huge circuit size. It is important how we can consider hierarchical structure in circuit delay analysis. In this paper we present an accurate method to analyze the delay of circuit with hierarchical structure. Adding the notion of global false path to the hierarchical timing analysis performs more accurate timing analysis.

  • Timing Constraint Petri Nets(TCPN) extend petri nets by adding timing constraints, it is provide a formal method for the modeling and analysis of real-time system. A real-time schedulability analysis decide that a set of concurrent processes will always meet its deadline. In this paper, we present TCPN model for real-time system include timing constraints and propose a schedulability analysis algorithm using them. Also, When the TCPN model is unscheduleable under the imposed timing constraints, we propose a recovery technique that will be scheduleable by the system specification modifying or timing constraints relaxing in the optimized time.

Design of the timing controller for automatic magnetizing system

  • In this paper a VLSI design for the automatic magnetizing system has been presented. This is the design of a peripheral controller, which magnetizes CRTs and computers monitors and controls the automatic inspection system. We implemented a programmable peripheral interface(PPI) circuit of the control and protocol module for the magnetizer controller by using a O.8um CMOS SOG(Sea of Gate) technology of ETRI. Most of the PPI functions has been confirmed. In the conventional method, the propagation/ramp delay model was used to predict the delay of cells, but used to model on only a single cell. Later, a modified "apos;Linear delay predict model"apos; was suggested in the LODECAP(LOgic Design Capture) by adding some factors to the prior model. But this has not a full model on the delay chain. In this paper a new "apos;delay predict equationapos;" for the design of the timing control block in PPI system has been suggested. We have described the detail method on a design of delay chain block according to the extracted equation and applied this method to the timing control block design.

  • 전 세계적으로 폭발성 물질 사용 증가와 폭탄테러 등으로 인명 및 재산 피해가 증가하고 있는 추세이다. 이에 중요 건축물이나 군사시설에 방호 방폭 성능을 향상시킬 목적으로 섬유보강 고성능 시멘트 복합체(HPFRCC)에 대한 연구가 진행되고 있다. 그러나, HPFRCC의 자기수축 문제를 해결하기 위해 ERCO를 혼입하게 되면 높은 점성 및 지방분의 시멘트 알칼리와의 조기반응으로 유동성, 공기량 및 강도 등 품질저하의 문제점이 발생한다. 이에 본 연구에서는 기존에 도출된 HPFRCC의 최적 배합에 ERCO 혼입시기 및 혼입율 변화에 따른 HPFRCC의 자기수축저감 및 기초적 특성에 대해 분석하였다. 그 결과 모르타르 믹싱완료 후 ERCO를 0.5% 혼입하는 후혼입 방법이 유동성, 강도 및 자기수축저감 등의 HPFRCC의 품질 향상에 가장 효과적인 것으로 밝혀졌다.

Evaluation of Navigation System Performance of GPS/GLONASS/Galileo/BeiDou/QZSS System using High Performance GNSS Receiver

  • The satellite navigation system was developed for the purpose of calculating the location of local users, starting with the Global Positioning System (GPS) in the 1980s. Advanced countries in the space industry are operating Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) that covers the entire earth, such as GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and BeiDou, by establishing satellite navigation systems for each country. Regional Navigation Satellite Systems (RNSS) such as QZSS and NavIC are also in operation. In the early 2010s, only GPS and GLONASS could calculate location using a single system for location determination. After 2016, the EU and China also completed the establishment of GNSS such as Galileo and BeiDou. As a result, satellite navigation users can benefit from improved availability of GNSS. In addition, before Galileo and BeiDou's Full Operational Capability (FOC) declaration, they used combined navigation algorithms to calculate the user's location by adding another satellite navigation system to the GPS satellites. Recently, it may be possible to calculate a user's location for each navigation system using the resources of a single system. In this paper, we evaluated the performance of single system navigation and combined navigation solutions of GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou and QZSS individual navigation systems using high-performance GNSS receivers.

Impact of Multi-GNSS Measurements on Baseline Processing for Control Surveying Applications

  • A series of experiments have been carried out by using National Geographic Information Institute(NGII)'s Continuously Operating Reference Station (CORS) data with various strategies to analyze the impact of multi-GNSS measurements on baseline processing. The results of baseline processing were compared in terms of ambiguity fixing rate, precision, and hypothesis tests were conducted to confirm the statistical difference. The combination of multi-GNSS measurements has helped to improve ambiguity fixing rate, especially under harsh positioning environments. Combination of GPS, Galileo, BeiDou could get better precision than that of GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and adding QZSS made the baseline solution's vertical component more precisely. The hypothesis tests have statistically confirmed that the inclusion of the multi-GNSS in the baseline processing enables not only to reduce field observation time length but also to enhance the solution's precision. However, it is of interest to notice that results of the baseline solution are dependent upon the software used. Hence, comprehensive studies should be performed shortly to derive the best practice to select the appropriate software.

The Effects of Addition Timing of NaCl and Sodium Tripolyphosphate and Cooking Rate on Pink Color in Cooked Ground Chicken Breasts

  • The current study investigated the effects of timing of NaCl (2%) and sodium tripolyphosphate (STPP, 0.5%) addition and cooking rates on color and pigment properties of ground chicken breasts. Four treatments were tested as follows: treatment 1, no NaCl and STPP added and stored for 7 d; treatment 2, NaCl+STPP added on 0 d and stored for 7 d; treatment 3, NaCl added on 0 d and STPP added on 7 d; and treatment 4, stored for 7 d and NaCl+STPP added. All samples were cooked at a fast (5.67℃/min) or slow cooking rate (2.16℃/min). Regardless of the timing of NaCl and STPP addition, reflectance ratios of nitrosyl hemochrome, cooking yield, pH values, oxidation-reduction potential, and percent myoglobin denaturation were similar (p>0.05) across treatments 2, 3, and 4. The highest CIE a values were observed in treatment 4 (p<0.05), while treatment 2 was effective in reducing the redness in cooked chicken products. The fast cooking rate resulted in lower CIE a values and higher CIE L values and cooking yield in cooked chicken breasts compared to the slow cooking rate. Our results indicate that adding NaCl and STPP to meat, followed by storing and cooking at a fast rate, may result in inhibiting the pink color defect sporadically occurred in cooked ground chicken breasts.

SCV를 장착한 CNG 엔진의 연소 및 배출가스 특성 (Combustion and Emission Characteristics in CNG Engine with SCV)

  • Natural gas is one of the promising alternative fuels because of the abundant deposits and the cleanness of emission gas. CNG has a lot of merits except lower burning speed has a slow disadvantage. One way to overcome the disadvantage is to raise a turbulence intensity. We give various intake for changing turbulence intensity in the cylinder by three kinds of swirl control valve with a way to raise a turbulence intensity. In the present study, a $1.8\ell$ conventional gasoline engine is modified to use a CNG as a fuel instead of gasoline. We try to virify combustion and emission characteristics in each engine parameters. Parameters of experimentation are equivalence ratio, spark timing and intake flow change. The results of this study are as swirl flows. In the case of adding swirl flow, burning speed and torque are increased. But NOx and THC concentration are increased a little respectively.

  • This paper deals with the problem of determining the capacity expansion timing and sizes of conduits and feeder cables for a given cable network configuration of a single exchange ares, which minimizes the present worth of total costs. The planning horizon is infinite and the demand of line pairs at each cabinet is assumed to be determininstically growing. As a solution method, the heuristic branch-and-bound algorithm of Freidenfelds and Mclaughlin is elaborated by adding details and some minor modifications, which generates a good near-optimal solution with far less computation than would otherwise be possible. We also develop a computer program, which is shown to be effective and efficient through the test run of an illustrative example.

  • As the trend of the automation is increasing, the usage of the programmable automation equipments like programmable controller(PC), numerical controller(NC), distributed control systems(DCS) and robot controller is greatly expanding in the area of the industrial equipments. But the development of the programing language for the programmable automatic equipment is rarely accomplished. In this paper, we propose design and implementation technique of the real-time mechanism control language by adding time constraint constructs and timing analysis constructs ot conditional statement and iteration statement of a programming language. Moreover, we made it possible to predict plausibility of time constraint constructs of a real time application program at compilation time and developing execution time analysiss technique.
