This study identified the effects of self-efficacy and social support on university life adaptation of male nursing college students. A survey of 200 male nursing college students was conducted. There was a positive correlation between self-efficacy and social support, self-efficacy and college life adaptation, and social support and university life adaptation. Self-efficacy differed between major choice subjects and major satisfaction, social support differed significantly in military service, major choice subjects, and major satisfaction, and college life adaptation differed significantly in major choice subjects, major choice motivation, and major satisfaction. The application of social support and self-efficacy enhancement programs reflecting the characteristics of male nursing college students and continuous research with various variables are needed.

In terms of population structure, korea military power has entered a serious danger zone, and that birth rate has led not only to a decrease in the population of the nation's economic activity, but also to a decrease in troop resources in our last security bastion, and the trend of "children from multicultural families" joining the army is predicted to soon become a "cultural force" with an average of 8,000 troops expected to join the army between 2025 and 2031. After all, the seriousness of the problem of declining troop resources in the military organization, the nation's last security bastion, and the multicultural army will be added. Therefore, this study reveals how multicultural soldiers are adapting to military service and analyzes them in depth by categorizing a series of processes on military life adaptation.

South Korea is in a dangerous situation where a war between the two Koreas could be triggered at any time based on the MDL (Military Demarcation Line) between the two Koreas due to the inter-Korean standoff over the armistice. Also, unlike the borders of other countries, the border between the two Koreas is the front-line area where people can feel the threat of life that could be triggered by war. Soldiers who work in special areas such as the contact area are not easily accessible due to local conditions, and are less likely to go out, stay out, stay out, or visit, and the working environment is overloaded with vast forests and silence at night, and feel anxious, lonely and insecure because they don't know when any situation will occur near the enemy. Therefore, a great deal of help will be needed to pay attention to soldiers who give up their lives here and perform their national defense duties, and to finish their barracks life safely and faithfully, and support for psychological adaptation of service members in the border areas.

This study was descriptive research examining the effects of gender role conflict and major satisfaction on college life adaptation of male nursing students. The subjects of this study were male nursing students enrolled in three universities located in D metropolitan city from March 2 to April 30, 2020. The SPSS 22.0 program was used for data analysis, frequency and percentage, mean and standard deviation, correlation analysis, t-test, and ANOVA. As a result, the average of the gender role conflict among male nursing college students was 3.70±0.43 points. The major satisfaction level was 2.84±0.24 points, and the college life adaptation was 2.49±0.28. The characteristics of the variables according to general characteristics showed that gender role conflict was significantly related to age; major satisfaction was significantly related to age and type of residence, and college life adaptation was significant according to age and military service. Based on the above results, it is necessary to establish positive professional intuition as a way to increase the adaptation of male nursing students to college life and to develop programs actively to reduce gender role conflict and increase the major satisfaction by promoting awareness related to sexual identity.

Decontamination of biological agents utilizes hydrogen peroxide($H_2O_2$) for its effectiveness and safeness. Bacillus anthracis is a major target for $H_2O_2$ decontamination. To assess the effect of $H_2O_2$ on B. anthracis and identify biomarkers for decontamination, whole transcriptomic profiling of $H_2O_2$-treated B. anthracis was performed. Here we identified deregulation in stress response genes, transcription factors and cellular homeostasis genes. We also found that expression of antisense RNAs increased in B. anthracis during decontamination. We postulate that B. anthracis prioritizes survival and adaptation in response to $H_2O_2$ treatment by changing its gene expression pattern.

This study was to explore the life history of an elderly woman who had six times of imprisonment and entered a Samchung re-education camp. This study of life history followed the analysis of Mandelbaum(1973) pointing three perspectives of life: dimensions, turnings, and adaptations. Participant's dimensions of life were exploitation of labor, hostess life for U.S. military, prison life, Samchung re-education camp, marriage with the disabled, life of a farm worker. Turnings of life were serving as a maid, confinement of prison, life of hostess for living, being remanded to Samchung re-education camp by state violence, marriage and divorce, denial of social welfare service. Adaptations of life were downright adaptation in early life, exaggerated act in juvenile reformatory, prostituted women as a simple fortune-maker, adaption as a good wife and wise mother after marriage, resistive adaption as a self-employed. and farm worker. Based upon this results outcome, discussions and implications were suggested.

With the development of IT (Information Technology) technology, embedded system and network technology are combined and used in various environments such as military environment as well as everyday life. In this paper, we propose a new airdropped distributed mobility model (ADMM) modeling the dispersion falling of the direct shot of a cluster bomb, and we compare and analyze some representative MANET routing protocols in ADMM in ns-3 simulator. As a result of the analysis, we show OLSR routing protocol is promising in ADMM environment in the view points of packet delivery ratio (PDR), end to end delay, and jitter. In addition, we propose a new adaptation scheme for OLSR, AND-OLSR (Average Node Distance based adaptive-OLSR) to improve the original OLSR in ADMM environment. The new protocol calculates the average node distance, adapts the period of the control message based on the average node distance increasing rate. Through the simulation study, we show that the proposed AND-OLSR outperforms the original OLSR in PDR and control message overhead.
