  • IN ADAPTIVE LINEAR PREDICTION, AN ADAPTIVE CAPABILITY IS BUILT INTO THE PROCESSOR SUCH THAT AS THE IMAGE STATISTICS CHANGE, THE PREDICTION FILTER COEFFICIENTS THEMSELVES CHANGE, PRODUCING A NEW FILTER MORE CLOSELY OPTIMIZED TO THE NEW SET OF IMAGES STATISTICS. THE LMS ALGORITHM MAY BE USED TO ADAPT THE COEFFICIENT OF AN ADAPTIVE PREDICTION FILTER FOR IMAGE SOURCE ENCODING. IN THIS PAPER, TWO CODING SYSTEMS USING DPCM AND LMS ALGORITHMS RESPECTIVELY FOR OBTAINING THE FIRST TRANSFORMED COEFFICIENT IN HYBRID CODING ARE COMPARED.

  • ProfiBus provides real-time data communication among field devices in the EMU (Electrical Multiple Unit) and TCMS (Train Control Monitoring System). This paper presents an adapt to Train Communication Network for EMU using ProfiBus DP(Decentralized Periphery) mathod, which is the layer 2 DDLM(Direct Data Link Mapper) protocol of ProfiBus.

  • This paper deals with a Batch processor application to determine orbit trajectories from satellite tracking data. The purpose of this paper is to find the initial state vectors. In order to determine the better estimation process, several different cases are compared. Here we adapt a minimum variance concept to develop estimation and prediction techniques. These results are compared with by SEP, Spherical Error Probable, values.

  • Construction CALS is actively being pursued in Korea and Japan. This paper overviews the similarities and differences between both CALS. And this paper reveals both countries have a common ultimate goal of construction CALS, but a slight differences in their implementing processes. Lately Korean construction CALS places much emphasis upon supporting construction management for contractors and project owner, while Japanese construction CALS has made an great efforts in the electronic bidding system and implementing intelligent CAD system and its application. With a firm support and active involvement of enterprises, both countries will flexibly adapt their construction CALS to the changes in future technological trends and build-up of information infrastructure.

  • This paper presents the results of analysis for the flexible computer integrated Construction(FCIC) system to adapt CALS on the construction industry. Acquisition and supply processes of the system are represented by IDEFO function models and FCIC information systems are briefly described in this paper.   • Recently, information technology are rapidly diffused throughout the world. A new paradigm, 'telework' and 'distant education' is a product of the tremendous technological changes driving the disabled vocational rehabilitation. In the computer and information communication technology areas related with web-based telework-distant education, the disabled expect vocational rehabilitation. Therefore nowadays, the disabled effort to adapt to the new information era by web-based telework and distant education. This study attempts to suggest developmental framework of employment innovation model to vitalize the disabled vocational rehabilitation.

  • In the evaluation of asymmetric buildings, torsional effects should be considered by three-dimensional analysis. However, this analysis is time-consuming and requires great efforts. The goal of this study is to give a comprehensible and simple procedure in the seismic evaluation by using two-dimensional analysis of asymmetric buildings so that practicing engineers can easily adapt it to their work.

  • Advances in information technology (IT) are becoming one of the most significant driving forces changing the structure of global financial management. This phenomenon is occurring in all industries; the hotel industry is no exception and must quickly adapt to this new trend. This study examines the technology intensity of the industry by assessing the degree to which the industry has allocated capital to IT projects, and discusses IT investment in the hospitality industry with a particular emphasis on assessing the value of IT investment and its investment strategy.

  • One of the most important reasons that CFT is used in many conditions is by using that we can achieve the effect, which reduce the section of the member. This research purpose to find the most ideal composition, which is achieved by the investigation in the concrete's property of matter like ability of Slump, Slump Flow, Air content, Bleeding, and Settlement when the high strength of concrete which is over 80㎫ is used in the CFT column.
