  • The actual behavior of joint is traditionally disregarded in steel frame design. In fact, the structural analysis of steel frames is generally carried out by assuming that joints fulfil the ideal condition of either a hinge or a fixed-end restraints. In this way, calculations are made somewhat simpler, but the structural model is not able to reflect the actual structural response. Therefore, steel frame classification system for estimation or analysis about behavior of steel frame should be established, and range that each connections belongs should be divided definitely. This research presents realistic and practical moment-rotation relation through investigation and analysis of steel frame beam-to-column classification system.

The Impact Analysis of Household Variables Factors on the Spending for Preschool Children's Private Education

  • In previous private education expenses were concentrated only on expenses for elementary, middle, and high school students. Therefore, it is difficult to understand the actual condition of preschool children's private education expenses. To solve this problem, we analyze the 2013 and 2020 data of the Korea Welfare Panel to confirm the private education expenditures of pre-school children. Also, we examine the differences and changes in private education expenditures according to household variables. We selected the household variable as the socio-demographic variable of the study subject. We defined the household variable as the area and income of the household. We show the actual results of private education expenses for household variables using frequency analysis, descriptive statistical analysis, t-test, and one-way ANOVA of SPSS 27.

  • The duration of a construction project is not only a key element for taking a new order, but also a strict yardstick to determine certain project successful or not. However, since construction project is basically outdoor job and most of the activities are proceeded out-air, no matter how the schedule plan has been established accurately, actual project proceeds due to the weather condition, beyond anyone's control. In this paper, the functional relationship between work productivity rate and weather elements is suggested by regression analysis. Difference of the relationship and influence of weather due to the seasonal group are also revealed. With these results, by simulating actual weather data and generating weather forecast through historical data, more accurate schedule would be obtained.

  • Since Broms and Bennermark(1967) suggested the face stability criterion based on laboratory extrusion tests and field observations, the face stability of a tunnel driven in cohesive material has been studied by several authors. And recently, more general solution for the tunnel front is given by Leca and Panet(1988). They adopted a limit state design concept to evaluate the face stability of a shallow tunnel driven into cohesionless material and showed that the calculated upper bound solution represented the actual behavior reasonably well. In this study, two factors are simultaneously considered for assessing tunnel face stability: One is the effective stress acting on the tunnel front calculated by upper bound solution; and the other is the seepage force calculated by numerical analysis under the condition of steady state ground water flow. The model tests were performed to evaluate the seepage force acting on the tunnel front and these results were compared with results of numerical analysis. Consequently, the methodology to evaluate the stability of a tunnel face including limit analysis and seepage analysis is suggested under the condition of steady state ground water flow.

  • In this study the location condition and the management of the Rural Experience Tourism Villages located around unified Cheongju city has been surveyed or investigated. On the basis of the results of the survey or investigation this study is to suggest a way to make activate the Rural Experience Tourism Villages which have been inactive. The ways of the research include the understanding of what means the activation of rural areas and then this study is to find the problems with the Rural Experience Tourism Villages and to suggest final ways or plans after the field investigation of the condition of the location and management of the Villages. In this study I had full understanding of the concept of the activation for rural areas and the humanistic and geographical characteristics and then made a wide investigation and analysis of the location condition and the management of the Rural Experience Tourism Villages in this area. Based on the theory and the results of the actual investigation I made a suggestion of basic direction for the improvement of the Villages and the ways for activation of the Villages. I really expect these suggestions of mine to make active contribution to make the actual plan through the promotion of the Rural Experience Tourism Villages.

경찰 관련 긴급신고에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Police-related Emergency Reporting)

  • 본 연구는 경찰의 112 신고와 해양경찰의 122 신고를 중심으로 경찰 관련 긴급신고의 실태를 분석하고, 이를 기초로 경찰 관련 긴급신고에 대한 개선방안을 모색해 보고자 하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위하여 2013년 국정감사요구자료의 경찰 관련 긴급신고 통계자료 중심으로 신고유형별 접수 현황, 출동 현황, 5분내 현장도착률 및 평균도착시간 등의 측면에서 실태를 분석하였다. 경찰 관련 긴급신고 실태분석의 주요한 결과를 살펴보면, 첫째, 경찰 관련 신고 전체 접수 건수에서 경찰의 112 신고는 증가하는 경향을, 해양경찰 122 신고는 증감을 반복하는 경향을 나타냈으며, 둘째, 접수 건수 중 비출동신고, 민원, 안내 등 비긴급신고의 접수 건수가 증가하는 것으로 나타났으며, 셋째, 해양경찰의 122 신고에 있어 장난신고의 비율이 높았으며, 타기관 이첩($122{\rightarrow}112$)의 비율도 적지 않은 것으로 나타났으며, 넷째, 경찰의 112신고와 관련해서 신고 접수 후 출동 건수와 평균 도착 시간이 감소하는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 경찰 관련 긴급신고를 개선해 나가기 위해서는 경찰 관련 신고를 이원적으로 운용하는 것, 허위 거짓 경찰 관련 긴급신고에 대한 홍보와 엄중한 대응, 그리고 경찰 관련 긴급 신고 시스템을 지속적으로 개선하는 것이 요구된다.

Analysis of Actual Consumption Patterns of China's Infant Food Market for 6th Industrial Management System Export Activation

  • With the increased economic profit in China, people tend to give more attention to the nurturing of children. The change in the food markets directly connected to the infants' health seem to have brought various consumption patterns different than before. Based on the actual condition survey operated by this research, the expansion in the scale of consumption and preference to the imported food for infants appeared in the Chinese food markets for infants. The rapidly increased amount of the online purchases of the food for Chinese infants was checked through the condition survey. Based on the analysis results, with the purpose of increasing the purchase opportunities of the Korean food for infants to the Chinese consumers, it should not only perform the promotion activities such as the promotion for the product's superiority and various promotional event, but also establish the pricing strategy for each entry step to the Chinese market. Because the purchase experience of the Korean food for infant plays the important role for the additional payments decision, it is estimated that there is a need to expand the opportunities for the Chinese consumers to approach the Korean food for infants both directly and indirectly.

하천상류지역의 하반식생 자연도 및 경관 분석에 관한 연구 - 경기도 남양주군 수입천을 중심으로 - (A STUDY ON THE ANALYSIS OF THE RIPARIAN VEGETATION NATURALITY AND VIEWSCAPE IN URSTREAM)

  • Riparian zone occupies not more than 5% of the total watershed area and can be considered in between the terrestrial and aquatic ecology as that does not fall under both of them. Unlike to common terrestrial plant that can e seen on other land, the riparian vegetation that exist in riparian zone can be classified into various groups because of their peculiar living form. The recognition of importance of terrestrial environment has considered the importance of natural river due to which even today, the movement throughout the world to retrograde the river development is taking place customarily. In this research, noticing the actual condition of the river management reality, the original capacity of river landscaping of Han river has been quantified grasping the actual condition of riparian vegetation from distribution area surveying and analysis. The objective of the research is to find out the river retrogression and maintenance methods based on the ecological environmental quality around the river by maintaining the river plants having high natural capacity and river planning method based on the harmony between conservation of river environment and use of riparian zone.

교과교실형 운영 중등학교 홈베이스 운영실태 및 이용행태 분석 (An Analysis about Actual Condition and Behavior of Use in Homebase on Variation Type in Middle and High Schools)

  • This study is carried out to understand spacial characteristics, actual condition and behavior of use about homebase managed in variation type. Observation about moving line of students and questionnaire were tried to satisfy this purpose. As a result, classroom used as variation type for long time stay and homebase outside the classroom for short time stay were paralled managed in most schools. Density of school furniture in homebase of observed schools was about 36-37%, occupying area of each student was about $0.3-0.6m^2$. It was relatively low with the results of 45-54% and $0.94-1.15m^2$ observed in Japan schools, respectively. By the analysis about behavior of use through cross section of observation, the difference of staying time and personnel exchange between the students was higher at the school having homebase composed with various corners more than the school used it only as a locker room.

석탄화력 보일러 연소열성능 해석 : 온도와 열에너지 분포를 중심으로 (Computational Studies on the Combustion and Thermal Performance of the Coal Fired Utility Boiler : Temperature and Thermal Energy Distribution)

  • The pulverized coal combustion behavior in the coal fired utility boiler has been investigated with the CFD and process analysis techniques. The used commercial software were CFX and PROATES, and these were coupled each other to get more reliable boundary condition set-up, resulting in more reliable solution. For two cases which were the actual operation condition of A power plant, the calculated values from the coupled CFD and process analysis for thermal energy system were compared with the plant data, and the good agreements were obtained for Case 1 and 2. The calculated temperature distributions on the surface of heat exchangers were compared with the plant data for the steam temperatures across heat exchangers, and these explained the actual operating situation very well. The temperature deviation across the final superheater tube, which was believed to be the main cause of the frequent tube failure, were also explained very well with the calculated distributions of gas temperature and radiation on the plane of the final superheater.
