The purpose of this study was to establish the relative influences of individual variables (sex, age, temperament) and mother's psychosocial variables (maternal attitude, parenting stress, marriage satisfaction) on daily stress levels and maladjustment of young children attending at daycare centers. Subjects were 224 pairs of children and their mothers, and 18 teachers from 5 child-care centers in Gwangju City. Children were tested individually using 22-item daily stress inventory with illustrations which described certain stressful situations. Questionnaires were also administered to mothers and teachers. Collected data were subjected to Cronbach's $\alpha$, correlation and multiple regression analysis using SPSS (WIN 14.0) program. The major findings were as follows; Overall average score of children's daily stress was equivalent with the median. 'Blame and attack situation' and 'anxiety and frustrated situation' were perceived as more stressful for children than 'lose self-respect situation'. Overall average score of children's maladjustment was lower than the median. 'Overactivity' was highest among subscores of maladjustment. Age was the only significant influential factor on children's daily stress level. Sex was the most influential factor on 'overactivity', 'aggression', and 'regression' of young children. Activity and maternal stress were the second most influential factor on 'overactivity' and 'aggression', respectively.
Personal exposure levels of $NO_{2}$ for office workers and housewives Living in A-San and neighboring prefectures were measured in two seasons with $NO_{2}$ filter badge. $NO_{2}$ concentrations in indoor and outdoor air in their offices and houses were also measured in the same periods. Personal exposure levels in winter ranged from 13 to 132 ppb and its distribution pattern was remarkably different from the other seasons (15.2-17.9 ppb). This fact suggests that use of heating apparatus affects largely $NO_{2}$ indoor air pollution in winter seasons. Actually, $NO_{2}$ exposure levels of subjects used Kerosene heater (43.6ppb) and gas heater (33.4ppb) were higher than those of subjects unused heating apparatus (18.0ppb). Personal exposure levels of $NO_{2}$ for man and woman Living in the same houses were correlated well each other. The time spent indoors for office workers and housewives were both longer than 22 hour a day. Home staying time was about 60% of total indoor staying time for office workers and 90% or more for housewives. Personal exposure levels were significantly related to indoor exposure levels at home all seasons. Furthermore, personal exposure levels could be estimated from $NO_{2}$ concentrations and staying times in various Living environment.
The purpose of this study was to collect baseline data for women's needs for social education, in order to eventually contribute to improving the quality of women's social education. In the needs survey, information on the motive to participate in social education programs, obstacles to participation, and program preferences was collected. The data were then analyzed by women's socio-demographic characteristics. Survey participants were married women between the ages of twenty to fifty, who were sampled from Seoul, six metropolitan areas, and nine provinces. For the final analysis, 1,026 survey forms were used. The motive for participating in women's social education programs was examined by each category. Overall, the participants showed the highest level in educational achievement motif. The motivations for lifestyle change, self-realization, and social accomplishment were also high and at a similar level. As for obstacles to participation, social obstacle received the highest rate, followed by family obstacle and personal reasons. As for the type of social education programs, home management programs were the most preferred, followed by psychological education, family education, leisure activity programs, physical education, and social education programs.
The Consumer Education is one of the rapidly raised problems in the process of recent Economic Growth. As the Society and its economy changes into Oligopoly, the nature and the scope of the Consumer Education also changes. However, We don't have an institutional, systematic education of consumers. Even the basic concepts of Consumer Education has not yet been established, because it is in an infant state. Thus, the aim of this paper is to establish the fundermental concepts of Consumer Education and to help settlement of the direction of Consumer Education. The conclusions are as following: First, Consumers as the objects of Consumer Education are limited to the Ultimate-Consumer; and they can divided into three groups-Individual Consumer, Consumer-Group, the Consuming Masses. Now were have to deal with not only the concept of Ultimate Consumer which limited to the Consumer, but deal with the realistic problems involving Citizens and Livers. Second, Consumer Education is systematic educational activity in order that Consumers can assume an subjective behavior for the purpose of improvement and support of their own rights in society. Third, Consumer Education which enforced Consumers' Cooperative Society and Goods Test is the movements of systematic resistance of consumers. The former aims at Economic Equilibrium, while the latter Informative Equilibrium. so, the two movements should channel the direction of Consumer Education in order to realize the Equilibrium.
Purpose. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between sleep quality and cognitive function, depression, and institutionalized elderly activity. The goal is to improve the quality of life through early intervention in the sleeping problems of the elderly hospitalized in the nursing home. Method Twentythree patients who were diagnosed with CDR (clinical dementia grade) 0.5 ~ 2 stages by a psychiatrist from September 3 to 30, 2017 were measured for sleep status, depression, cognitive function and activities of daily living at the same time once a day. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS (v.21, IBM, USA) program. Results The correlation between sleep status and cognitive function, depression, and activities of daily living was not statistically significant, and there was a moderate correlation between cognitive function and depression. Conclusion The results of this study suggest that the development and application of a program that activates the cognitive function that is institutionalized with a positive correlation between cognitive function and depression will be effective in decreasing depression in the elderly patients hospitalized in the nursing home.

This paper presents the psychomotorik-based play activities executed by the social robot at home which helps children's social and emotional development. Based on the theory and practice of the psychomotorik therapy, the play activities were implemented in the close collaboration between psychmotorik experts, service designers and robotics engineers. The designed play activities are classified into four categories depending on the main areas of child development. The robotic system that can express verbal and nonverbal behaviors was developed in order to play games with children and but also to make children have continuous interest during the play activities with it. Finally, the psychomotorik-based play service scenario and interactive robot system were validated by the expert group from the domain of child psychotherapy. The evaluation results showed that the play service and the robot system were appropriately developed for children from the experts point of view.
The main purpose of this study was to examine the impact of religious participation on the depression of elder adults in USA. Specifically, this study examined how the influence of religious participation varied according to continuity or discontinuity of participation. Data from N=1,658 adults aged 65-90 who were respondents to two waves of the U.S. National survey of Families and Households 1987-1993 were used for these analyses. Depression was measured with a 12-item (of the original 20) modified version of the CES-D (Center for Epidemiological Studies-Depression). Multivariate regression models controlling for several demographic variables were estimated. Some clear evidence was found supporting activity theory and continuity theory That is, participating in a religious organization role at Time 2 but not Time 1 (T1 No - T2 Yes) and being continuously involved in religious organizations both at Time 1 and Time 2 (T1 Yes -T2 Yes) were associated with reduced depression, compared to continuous nonparticipation in religious organizations (71 No -72 No).
This study was carried out to investigate agreement, content and demand for home nursing care of hospital inpatients in brain, spain and musculoskeletal diseases .The data was collected by interviewing with 242 patients who were hospitalized in university hospital on Taegu, from September 6,60 October 9, 1993. Of 242 patients, 66.1% agreed to home nusing care system and rate of agreement was highest between 30 years to 49 years of age as 75.5%, in middle urban area residents as 75.9% and was lowest in medicaid as 40.0% in general chareacteristics. The rate of agreement according to type of diagnosis was highest inpatients with spinal diseases as 75.6% according to functional status was the highest in patients who had daily living activity freely as 69.4% according to prognosis in patients at terminal stage as 80.0% and the rate of agreement to home nursing care of patients who wanted early discharege was 73.9%. The first-ranking reasom of agreement to home nursing care was asking for continuous relationship with doctor as 37.3% and there was statistically significant difference in reasons of agreement to home nursing care according to functional status of patients. The first-ranking reason of eary discharge among patients who wanted early discharge(74.8%) was because of long time stay in hospital. Among 23 items of nursing activity that patient wanted, the first-ranking item was recovery promotion, prevention of complication, education and counseling for health as 76.4%, drug management was 2nd-ranking item as 62.1% and the third was regular checking of vital signs as 55.9%. The lowest item of demand for home unring care was hospice care(3.9%) and airway keep(9.1%).

The objectives of this study were to analyze and compare 24 hrs personal exposure levels of MF at microenvironments such as home, school, educational institute, internet pc game room, transportation, and other places according to time activity patterns using various metrics for children attending the primary schools located near and away from the power lines, and to characterize the major microenvironments and impact factors attributed personal exposure level. The study was carried out for 44 children attending a primary school away from the lines(school A) and 125 children attending a school away from 154 kV power lines(school B), all who aged 12 years and were 6 grade, from July 2003 to December 2003. All participants filled in a questionnaire about characteristics, residence, use of electrical appliances and others. Children wore a small satchel in which EMDEX II and Lite (Enertech, Co. Ltd) and a diary of activity list for period of registration in 20 minutes blocks. All statistical calculations were made with the SAS System, Releas 6.12. The summary of results was presented below. First, about the characteristics of subjects, there no differences between two groups. The subject almost spent about 56 % of their time at home and about 20~25 % of their time at school. Fifty percent of children spent 2 hours at private educational institutes. Second, the personal exposure measurements of children in school B was statistically higher than those of children in school A by various metrics such as arithmetic mean, geometric mean, percentile(5, 25, 50, 75, 95), maximum, rate of change metric, constant field metric. The arithmetic and geometric mean magnetic fields during the time the children were at school B were 0.98 and $0.86{\mu}T$ and were about 23 times higher than those of children were at school A. In conclusion, the significant major determinants of personal exposure level is the distance from the power line to microenvironments.
In the study, the protease activity of kiwifruit (Actinidia deliciosa Planch) cultivated in Korea was estimated, with specific examination of proteolytic effects on myofibrilar protein. The crude protease extract of kiwifruit was prepared in two ways; one in which the kiwifruit was homogenized with buffer followed by centrifugation, and the other were the supernatant was precipitated by saturated ammonium sulfate followed by dialysis. The former had 21.23 mM/mL of protease activity, which corresponded to 112.28 mM/g kiwifruit utilized, and the latter had 11.58 mM/mL and 45.80 mM/g of kiwifruit. The crude protease extract of the kiwifruit showed high specificity for casein substrate followed by bovine serum albumin, egg white, collagen, and elastin, in order. The enzyme lost proteolytic activity in acidic conditions such as pH 2-3, and at high temperatures over $60^{\circ}C$. It showed optimal activity in both pH 3.0 and pH 7.5 as well as at $40^{\circ}C$ for casein substrate and at $50^{\circ}C$ for myofibrilar protein substrate. The proteolytic activity toward casein was high with up to 0.5M salt, followed by a sharp decrease beyond this concentration. On the other hand the proteolytic activity for myofibrilar protein decreased steadily with increasing of salt concentration. Kiwifruit has been used as a for meat tenderizer for in home cooking and these results support the its tenderizing effectiveness of kiwifruit especially for Korean style marinating of meat for cooking.
