The purpose of this research is to investigate success factors of knowledge management in Korea companies. The research scheme was experimented through a questionnaire survey answered by 87 companies. The research model was composed of five groups : 1) CEO support and business strategics, 2) organization culture 3) information technology characteristic of knowledge workers 4) a reward and performance measurement 5) knowledge management system. The results of this research indicated that the CEO support and organization culture are important factors for knowledge activities. The information technology characteristic of knowledge workers and a reward have small effects for knowledge activities. Manufacturing companies and non-manufacturing companies need different knowledge management strategies. The results of this study will be helpful for the success implementation of knowledge management in Korean companies.

Woodcraft activity is inseparable with our ordinary life and its relevant research should be consistently maintained because it has significant educational value to blossoming students. These days, which interest in woodcraft is rapidly expanding from early childhood to old age, this study was done to provide images to those who work in this field or who have interest. Out of the 43 jewelry and gift boxes used in this study, species of white which has low proportion of packing materials consists of species of Fir (Abies spp), Birch (Betula spp) and Amercia basswood (Tilia americana Linnaeus) and the higher proportion species of Mahogany (Swietenia macrophylla), Bayor (Pteorospermum diversifolium Bl), Snakewood (Piratinera guianensis aubl.) and Bintangor (Calophhyllum spp.) were used in valuable products. It was showed that out of 56 works selected from '400 Wood Boxes', the species of Walnut (Juglans regia), Cherry (Prunus serotina), Wenge (Milletia laurentii De. wild), Ebony (Diospyros spp.), Ash (Fraxinus spp.) and Cocobolo (Dallbergia cultrata Grah.) were frequently used.

A sensory element against carbaryl, as a widely used pesticide was prepared based on adsorbed acetylcholine esterase (AChE) from Torpedo california. Octadecyl was substituted on macro-porous silica, confirmed by infra-red (IR) spectroscopy and quantitatively estimated through thermo-gravimetric analysis (TGA). Immobilization of the enzyme was achieved by adsorption on this support. Activity of the immobilization product was measured as a function of the loaded enzyme concentration, and maximum binding capacity of the support was estimated to be 43.18 nmol.mg-1. The immobilized preparations were stable for more than two months at storage conditions and showed consistency in continuous operations. Possible application of the immobilized AChE for quantitative analysis of carbaryl is proposed in this study.

The theme of this study is holistic healing environment of children's library and it was researched on the basis of anthroposophy theory of Rudolf Steiner. According to Steiner's theory, human being consists of body, spirit, and soul. Especially, children are sensitive ones, and through synthetic function of 12 kinds of senses, they can be holistically healed (healing of body, spirit, and soul). As the sense independently functions or it is a element that cannot be described, it needs spatial plan to support synthetic function of it. We classified the healing space's meaning of children library by motion (including art and music), reading, & landscape healing activities and analyzed spatial characteristic to support each activity.

Object detection is a fundamental task for many high-level computer vision applications such as image retrieval, scene understanding, activity recognition, visual surveillance and many others. Although object detection is one of the most popular problems in computer vision and various algorithms have been proposed thus far, it is also notoriously difficult, mainly due to lack of proper models for object representation, that handle large variations of object structure and appearance. In this article, we review a branch of object detection algorithms based on Support Vector Machines (SVMs), a well-known max-margin technique to minimize classification error. We introduce a few variations of SVMs-Structural SVMs and Latent SVMs-and discuss their applications to object detection and localization.

This study examines the effects of parental variable(parental support and supervision), temperament(activity level, attention span/persistence, and emotionality) and the internal locus of control on self-regulation of children. Data were collected from 455 5th and 6th graders and analyzed with Pearson's correlations and pathway analysis. The results were as follows : Children's temperament, internal locus of control and parental variable directly affected children's self-regulation. Parental variables mediated between children's temperament and internal locus of control and self-regulation. Internal locus of control mediated between children's temperament and self-regulation: in addition, the most important variable predicting children's self-regulation was children's attention span/persistence temperament.

MPEG-7 based on XML represents various information of multimedia data's contents. and it support search and browsing by user's wants. But, MPEG-7 standard don't support retrieval method and Many XML Indexing is not compatible to retrieval MPEG-7 documents. So Much research activity and interest has emerged recently in retrieval MPEG-7 documents. In our paper, we suppose a hierarchical index based on MPEG-7 document's structural information, and review how to query processing based on high level feature description.

Objective : The study is to investigate current state of leisure activity in people with stroke (including leisure activity that people with stroke participate and hope, the reason why people with stroke paticipate in leisure activity, the cost that spent in leisure activity, and leisure activity satisfaction) on community rehabilitation center. Method : Frequency analysis were performed with the SPSS 12.0 statistics package program. Result : First, the findings showed that leisure activity participated most of people with stroke disabled appear as 'swimming', and appear sequence 'gate ball', 'yoga', 'energy gymnastics' on sports leisure activity. Second, the findings showed that leisure activity costs are fifth thousand won a month on average, most of people with stroke experienced satisfactory state in leisure activity. Third, the findings showed that leisure activity appeared to satisfaction 63.1% people with stroke disabled used the community rehabilitation center. Conclusion : First, The community rehabilitation center must develop leisure activity for people with stroke. Second, Leisure activity needs to support financial affairs. Third, leisure activity need professor for body function improve. Fourth, leisure activity must participates with the community sociaty.

Activity theory explains that the old people participate in social activity as a role-substitute from loss of roles given by work and family. It is possible to enhance their life satisfaction through these activities. Based on this activity theory, this study aims at explore the role substitute of voluntary activities and to analysis whether volunteering commitment has an effect on life satisfaction. Data were collected by using survey questionnaires to the elderly over 55 years old who participated in voluntary activity at 25 Volunteer Centers in Seoul. The Activity theory was operationalized by job or joblessness, family type, achievement type obtained through voluntary activity The results are as follows. (1) Job or joblessness has effect on the activity frequence and activity time. (2) Social achievement after voluntary activity has effect on the duration only (3) And the family type did not have any effect. These three variables of activity theory do not have an effect on life satisfaction. The elderly volunteering commitment was explained by variables other than activity theory such as reward, health, education, sex. And the elderly volunteer's life satisfaction were affected by the family types and their economic status. These results imply that the Korean elderly voluntary activities could be expained partially by Activity theory. Also for these elder volunteers's life satisfaction, qualitative respects such as achievements through voluntary activity, and concerns and support by agencies are more important than the time they imput in voluntary activities.
