계면활성제가 첨가된 염수용액에 따른 폴리머 애자의 트래킹 성능 평가 (Tracking Performance Test of Polymer Insulator with Salt Solution which is added Surface Active Agent)

  • Recently, polymer insulators that are used for high voltage applications have some advantages such as light weight, small size, vandalism resistance, hydrophobicity and easy making process. During outdoor service of polymer insulators, the surface of the insulating material is frequently subjected to moisture and contamination that lead to dry band arcing. Their tracking resistance, erosion resistance, end sealing and shed design are very important because dry band arcing causes degradation of polymer surface. Aging test to estimate life property of polymer insulator is executed through several international standard such as IEC 61109 and CEA tracking wheel test, but is not getting clear conclusion yet. There are two methods in the diagnosis method of polymer insulator such as off-line and on-line. The diagnosis methods in off-line are external condition analysis by the eye, contaminant analysis on surface, surface analysis, pollution withstand voltage test, power frequency flashover voltage test, lightning impulse flashover test, tensile fracture load test and flexural load test. Polymer material is also investigated it's tracking resistance by adding surface active agent in IEC 587. In this paper, the tracking performance of polymer insulator with salt solution which is added surface active agent. The diagnosis of insulator sample has been analyzed by leakage current and visual examination, STRI guide and thermal image camera.

  • This paper proposes a video tracking method for a deformable moving object using an active contour model. In order to decide the convergent directions of the contour points automatically, a new energy function based on a frame difference map and an updating rules of the frame difference map are presented. Experimental results on a set of synthetic and real image sequences showed that the proposed method can fully track a speedy deformable object while extracting the boundary of the object exactly in every frame.

  • Power tracking은 발전기가 생산하는 전력의 흐름을 추적함으로써 특정 발전기가 특정 부하에 공급하는 전력의 양, 측정 송전선 점유율, 계통손실에 기여량 등을 결정할 수 있게 해준다. 본 논문에서는 loop화되어 있는 실계통을 여러 domain으로 나누고 하나의 domain 또는 중첩된 domain 간의 교류송전선의 대체 안으로 FACTS나 HVDC과 같은 active 소자의 설치위치를 선정하기 위해 power tracking을 이용하였으며 이를 효과적으로 시각화 하기위한 프로그램을 개발하였다.

  • This work proposes a simple control method of a buck-type active power decoupling circuit that can minimize the ripple values in the dc link voltage. The proposed method utilizes a simplified duty calculation method and an optimal compensation gain tracking algorithm with variable-step approach. Thus, the dc link voltage ripple can be effectively reduced through the proposed method along with rapid response in tracking the optimum compensation gain. Moreover, the proposed method has better dynamic responses in the load fluctuation or abnormal situation. MATLAB/Simulink simulation and hardware-in-the-loop-simulation(HILS)-based experimental results are presented to validate the effectiveness of the proposed control method.

개선된 검색식 기반 특허분석을 통한 무선신호 기반 Passive Tracking 공백기술 도출에 관한 연구 (A Study on White Space Search of Wireless Signal based Passive Tracking Technology using Enhanced Search Formula of Patent Analysis)

  • 연구목적: 본 논문에서는 개선된 특허 검색식을 제안하고 이에 기반 한 특허분석을 통해 Passive Tracking 기술분야의 잠재적 유망분야에 해당하는 공백기술을 도출하여 향후 수행해야 할 연구개발의 방향성을 제시한다. 연구방법: 본 논문에서는 기존의 검색식 구성 방식을 개선하여 유사어 DB, 최근 발표 논문의 Keyword, AI 검색 등의 다양한 Tool과 방법을 복합적으로 적용하는 기법을 제안하고, Passive Tracking 기술분야를 대상으로 광범위한 특허조사 및 분석을 통해, 기술 변화의 방향성 및 흐름을 확인하고, 해결하고자 하는 목적과 수단을 매트릭스화 하는 방법으로 공백기술을 도출한다. 연구결과: 제안하는 방법을 통해 Passive Tracking 기술분야 공백기술은 인공지능,적응형/복합형 측위기술 및 레이더/안테나를 활용한 '멀티 타깃 측위·추적기술'과 '3D 측위 기술'이 공백기술로 도출되었으며, 도출 결과의 타당성을 검토하기 위한 검색 결과 상용화 서비스 또는 제품이 부재함을 확인하였다. 결론: 본 논문에서 도출한 공백기술은 특허출원이 활발하지 않고 선점되어 있는 선행특허가 많지 않은 분야이므로, 보다 적극적인 연구개발과 특허출원 활동을 통해 기술에 대한 권리를 확보할 필요가 있다.

  • 본 논문은 이동 위성통신을 위한 능동위상배열 안테나 시스템의 주요 부품 중의 하나인 빔 성형모듈 설계에 관하여 서술한다. 본 모듈은 주 신호 및 추적신호를 위한 두 개의 모듈로 구성되어 있다. 이중, 주 신호블록은 위상배열 안테나로부터 입력된 신호전력을 추적신호 블록으로 전송하는 역할을 수행하며, 추적신호 블록은 능동위상배열 안테나 시스템의 주요 기능인 추적신호의 빔 성형과 전자적 빔 제어기능을 수행한다. 또한, 본 모듈은 위상특성 및 선형이득 등의 시스템에서 요구되는 전기적 사양을 만족하며, 해당 성능의 보다 면밀한 검증을 위하여, 제작된 빔 성형모듈을 장착한 능동위상배열 안테나 시스템을 이용하여 야외구동시험을 수행하였다.

안정적인 실시간 얼굴 특징점 추적과 감정인식 응용 (Robust Real-time Tracking of Facial Features with Application to Emotion Recognition)

  • Facial feature extraction and tracking are essential steps in human-robot-interaction (HRI) field such as face recognition, gaze estimation, and emotion recognition. Active shape model (ASM) is one of the successful generative models that extract the facial features. However, applying only ASM is not adequate for modeling a face in actual applications, because positions of facial features are unstably extracted due to limitation of the number of iterations in the ASM fitting algorithm. The unaccurate positions of facial features decrease the performance of the emotion recognition. In this paper, we propose real-time facial feature extraction and tracking framework using ASM and LK optical flow for emotion recognition. LK optical flow is desirable to estimate time-varying geometric parameters in sequential face images. In addition, we introduce a straightforward method to avoid tracking failure caused by partial occlusions that can be a serious problem for tracking based algorithm. Emotion recognition experiments with k-NN and SVM classifier shows over 95% classification accuracy for three emotions: "joy", "anger", and "disgust".

  • Multi-tracking of general objects and specific faces is an important topic in the field of computer vision applicable to many branches of industry such as biometrics, security, etc. The rapid development of deep neural networks has resulted in a dramatic improvement in face recognition and object detection problems, which helps improve the multiple-face tracking techniques exploiting the tracking-by-detection method. Our proposed method uses face detection trained with a head dataset to resolve the face deformation problem in the tracking process. Further, we use robust face features extracted from the deep face recognition network to match the tracklets with tracking faces using Hungarian matching method. We achieved promising results regarding the usage of deep face features and head detection in a face tracking benchmark.

Kinematic Method of Camera System for Tracking of a Moving Object

  • In this paper, we propose a kinematic approach to estimating the real-time moving object. A new scheme for a mobile robot to track and capture a moving object using images of a camera is proposed. The moving object is assumed to be a point-object and projected onto an image plane to form a geometrical constraint equation that provides position data of the object based on the kinematics of the active camera. Uncertainties in the position estimation caused by the point-object assumption are compensated using the Kalman filter. To generate the shortest time path to capture the moving object, the linear and angular velocities are estimated and utilized. The experimental results of tracking and capturing of the target object with the mobile robot are presented.
