S-대역 능동위상배열레이더용 수신전단기 연구 (Study on Front-End Receiver for S-band Active Phased Array Radar)

  • In this paper, we described the design and measurement results of a Front-End Receiver for S-band active phased array radar. The Front-End Receiver has input P1dB of -4dBm and IIP3 of 7dBm. The measurement results show that gain is $24{\pm}0.7dB$, noise figure are less than 2.3dB over the frequency range of $fc{\pm}0.2GHz$. The Front-End Receiver can protect the receiver path from large input signals with a maximum peak power of multi-kW and recovery time is less than 0.8us. The measurement results satisfy all specifications.

구강환경에 따른 Streptococcus salivarius의 요소분해활성의 변화 (A CHANGE IN UREASE ACTIVITY OF Streptococcus salivarius CAUSED BY DIFFERENT ORAL ENVIRONMENT)

  • Urea in the oral cavity is hydrolyzed mainly by bacterial ureases to ammonia, which in turn, raises pH of the oral environment, maintaining oral pH homeostasis, thereby inhibiting dental caries. Streptococcus salivarius has been shown to be a major contribution to oral ureolysis. Synthesis of urease by S. salivarius appears to be constitutive, but can be greatly enhanced in the acidic environment. It has been presumed that ureolytic activity of S. salivarius strains isolated from caries-active site is greater than that of strains from caries-free site. However, no in vivo study has supported the presumption. The present study was performed to observe the ureolytic activity of S. salivarius strains isolated from different environments in the same individual, finding out whether the ureolytic activity is related to dental caries. For the purpose, S. salivarius strains were isolated from caries-active site (>C2), a caries-free site of the tooth, and the dorsum of the tongue of each of 50 patients having decayed teeth. The strains isolated from the patients who harbored S. salivarius in more than two sites were selected and then their ureolytic activities were measured. In order to examine clonal diversity of the strains, their ureC genes were amplified by polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and then restricted with EcoRV, and the protein profiles of the strains were compared by SDS-PAGE. The results were as follows: 1. Of 50 patients, 13 patients harbored S. salivarius in more than two sites; a total of 61 S. salivarius strain were isolated from the patients and selected for the study. 2. Of 17 isolates from the caries-active site of 9 patients harboring S. salivarius in more than two sites including carious lesion, 10 (58.8%) showed a high ureolytic activity (> 200 ${\mu}mol/min/mg$). While, 19 out of 44 isolates (43.2%) from the caries-free site of the teeth and the dorsum of the tongues of 13 patients were the strains with a high ureolytic activity. 3. Of 9 patients harboring S. salivarius in more than two sites including caries-active site. 6 patients were found to have the strains in the caries-active site showing a lower ureolytic activity than the strains in the other sites. 4. Of 34 isolates with ureolytic activity higher than 40 ${\mu}mol/min/mg$, 32 isolates produced 0.54-Kbp PCR products regardless of the sites of bacterial collection. In contrast, of 27 isolates with ureolytic activity lower than 40${\mu}mol/min/mg$, 26 isolates yielded 1.3-Kbp PCR products or none regardless of the sites. 5. Different clonal types of S. salivarius with relatively higher and lower ureolytic activities were found in the same individuals and even in the same sites. 6. None of strains showing different ureolytic activity appeared to be the same clonal type. The overall results suggest that ureolytic activity of the isolates does not appear to be related to differences of the environments but related to their own genetic traits.

  • 산화환원흐름전지(Redox Flow Battery, RFB)는 대용량 에너지 저장장치로 바나듐 산화환원흐름전지가 대표적인 RFB인데, V-RFB는 고가인 점이 문제다. 철-크롬 RFB는 저가의 활물질(철, 크롬)을 사용해 경제적인 점이 장점인데, 성능이 낮은 점이 해결해야 할 과제다. 낮은 성능의 한 원인이 활물질의 크로스오버인데, 본 연구에서 불소계막 대신 탄화수소계막인 sulfonated Poly (ether ether ketone) (sPEEK)막을 사용해 활물질 투과를 감소시키는 연구를 하였다. sPEEK막의 크롬 이온 투과도는 $1.8{\times}10^{-6}cm^2/min$으로 Nafion막에 비해 약 1/33으로 작아서 불소계막 대신 sPEEK막을 사용하면 높은 활물질 투과문제를 해결할 수 있음을 보였다. 철 이온의 sPEEK막 확산의 활성화 에너지도 24.9 kJ/mol으로 Nafion막의 약 66%로 작았다. 그리고 고분자막에 들어간 e-PTFE 지지체가 철-크롬 산화환원흐름전지(ICRFB)에서 활물질 투과도를 감소시킴을 보였다.

  • The previous study was an expert system development that help engineers select proper foundation types and construction methods for structures under various subsoil condition. The system includes geographical and geological data in certain areas of Ulsan and a knowledge base for the selection of foundation types. However, the system, a kind of application program, has a weakness that it can be used only when it is installed at each user's own computer. Therefore, the purpose of the research is to more the system operated on Internet and spread over to more users. So, Server Installation, ActiveX, ADO(Active Data Objects) and ASP(Active Server Pages), which are the requirements to operate the system on Internet, are to be investigated through the research.

복합주파수에서 능동소음제어 시스템의 설계와 구현 (An Implementation and Design of Active Noise Control System in the Complex Frequency)

  • In this paper, we propose a new Active Noise Filter Control System which operate as a control performance when a adaptive filter fault. In this system, half-fixed filter which is new filter, connected to parallel with adaptive filter. An adaptive filler use to continuous parameter estimating, but adaptive filter is fault, half-fixed filter update newly data which is continuous estimating date each during sampling period. We simulate and apply the proposed active noise filter system to in the cylinder type duct. Experimental results show that proposed Active Noise Filter Control System has better control performance than existing filter which Eriksson's or Parallel Filter System in term of noise reduction.

  • The maximum speed is one of the most important performance in high speed railway vehicle. The higher the train speed is, the worse the ride comfort is, In order to solve this problem, a semi-active or active suspension can be applied to high speed railway vehicle. The variable damper with hydraulic solenoid valve is used in the semi-active suspension. But the variable damper with hydraulic solenoid valve requires tank for supplying fluid. The MR(Magneto Rheological) damper can be considered instead of hydraulic variable damper which needs additional device, i.e. reserver tank for fluid. In the case of active suspension, hydraulic actuator or electro-mechanical one is used to suppress the carbody vibration in railway vehicle. In this study the MR damper and electro-mechanical actuator was considered in secondary suspension system of high speed railway vehicle. The dynamic analysis was performed by using 10-DOF dynamic equations of railway vehicle. The performance of the semi-active suspension and active suspension system were reviewed by using MATLAB/Simulink S/W. The vibration suppression effect of semi-active and active suspension system were investigated experimentally by using 1/5-scaled railway vehicle model.

전기-기계식 능동 현가장치 제어를 위한 NCF 알고리즘 (The NCF Algorithm for the Control of an Electro-mechanical Active Suspension System)

  • The NCF control algorithm for an active suspension system was proposed and investigated. The NCF algorithm using spring dynamic variation force and suspension relative velocity was applied to the 1/4 vehicle model and numerical analysis was performed. Vehicle's performances such as vehicle displacement, vehicle acceleration, suspension deflection, tire deflection and absorbed power were calculated and compared with those of the passive, semi-active and LQR active suspension system that use full state feedback. Numerical results show that the proposed NCF active suspension system has superior performance compared with the passive and semi-active suspension system and has very similar performance compared with the LQR active suspension system. So the proposed NCF algorithm is considered as a highly practical algorithm because it requires only one displacement sensor in a 1/4 vehicle model.

  • The OTFT technologies have been mature almost up to the level of commercialization. In this paper we report the OTFT's applications to the backplane for active matrix electrophoretic, active matrix OLED and to integrated circuits. In addition we also introduce the recently developed technologies for reduction of OTFT's operating voltage.

Health center must carry out flexible problem-centered practice according to the area. 5. For the urban-poor's health care must have organization of the health center & practice according to community's characteristics. 6. Public health care must be closely connected with welfare. 7. For the health care of the urban-poor must demand active community participation. 8. Health center is closely connected with Community hospital. 9. Active management of public health resource system is demanded.

  • This paper analyzed PFC of active clamp ZVS flyback converter by adding two method PFC (Power Factor Correction) circuit - Two-Stage and Single-Stage. It improves on Flyback converter's disadvantage - loss increasing by switching, noise increasing, high voltage stress of switch - by adding active clamp circuit. Simulation results show to improve the input PF of 300W ZVS flyback converter by adding Single-Stage, Two-Stage PFC circuit.
