Information can be leaked, changed, damaged and illegally used regardless of the intension of the information owner. Intrusion Detection Systems and Firewalls are used to protect the illegal accesses in the network. But these are the passive protection method, not the active protection method. They only react based on the predefined protection rules or only report to the administrator. In this paper, we develop the intrusion detection and protection system using Netfilter framework. The system makes the administrator's management easy and simple. Furthermore, it offers active protection mechanism against the intrusions.

Despite the vast potential opportunities of RFID technology in various industrial applications, deployment of RFID applications is rather limited to meet a large industrial demand in Korea. We conducted in-depth case study to organize the RFID applications in business model framework in order to provide practical insights for the development of innovative RFID applications. Throughout extensive searching for RFID applications in literature, web, news, and policy reports, we first classified passive RFID applications, mobile RFID applications, and active RFID applications. Value creation and implementation issues are compared and analyzed for each of RFID applications using Afuah and Tucci business model. This study can contribute in establishing future development of RFID technology, competitive business strategy, and government policy to stimulate Korea RFID industry.

Defense industry as 'a new dynamics of economic growth' policy implies driving policy of defense products' export. The purpose of this study is to suggest suitable strategies to meet with such policy in terms of region and individual nation. The strategies towards advanced region are joint sale strategy for the third countries, extension strategy of trade-off and development strategy of products to exploit niche markets. The strategies towards non-advanced regions are package strategy including exchange of economic development know-how, strengthening strategy of relationships to leading groups in national decision-making processes, exploit strategy of sales market through transfer discard and surplus equipments to other nations, government to government sale strategy towards countries holding low leveled equipment maintaining and management abilities. Finally, successive strategies require leaders' will, active sales diplomacy and active international cooperations of defense industry.

Residents of the municipalities in administrative services are recognized as active objects and active customers who purchase the public services. This study analyzes, by quantitative approach of surveys, the residents' awareness of the quality of five policy content areas. The results show that awareness of the quality of the five contents areas is substantially below average. Lessons and implications of this study for management leadership are presented.

The branched-chain ${\alpha}$-keto acid dehydrogenase (BCKAD) complex is a rate limiting enzyme which catalyzes the oxidative decarboxylation of branched-chain ${\alpha}$-keto acids. Numerous studies have suggested that BCKAD is subject to covalent modification in vitro via phosphorylation and dephosphorylation, which are catalyzed by a specific kinase and phosphatase, respectively. The biggest difficulty in the assay of BCKAD activity is to arrest the interconversion between the active and inactive forms. BCKAD activity was determined from fresh rat heart and liver tissues using homogenizing and assay buffers containing inhibitors of phosphatase and kinase. The results suggest that a radiochemical assay using ${\alpha}$-keto[1-$^{14}C$]-isovalerate as a substrate for the enzyme can be applied as a reliable method to determine in vitro enzyme activity with arrested interconversion between the active and inactive forms of the BCKAD complex.

[ $IP^2$ ] (IP-based IMT Network Platform) is a ubiquitous platform supporting mobility using two step If address IPha (IP host address) and IPra (IP routing address) - in a backbone network. MN (Mobile Node) in $IP^2$ maintains either Active or Dormant state, which is transferred to Active state through Paging process when communication is required. In this paper, we proposed a Paging method using proxy to resolve the problem of the conventional Paging method which transmits the Paging messages to all cells in LA (Location Area) resulting in the excessive use of network resources. Performanceevaluation of the proposed method using NS-2 showed that the usage of network resources becomes more efficient by reducing paging loads, especially under the condition of increased nodes.

In this paper, we presented an active RFID system in 2.45GHz range including LNA, Mixer and gain block. And in this work, a link budget model for RFID applications are proposed. We describe the detailed design and implementation of our system. Our components in RFID system has features such as low Noise Figure, reliable energy budget, and standard compliance with ISO 18000-4. Our receiver is effective for development and evaluation of prototype applications because of the flexibility of the design hardware. So, our platform will be suitable for versatile item management applications.

$IP^2$(IP based-IMT Network Platform)은 유비쿼터스 플랫폼으로서 백본 망에서 IP 를 IPha(IP host address)와 IPra(IP routing address)으로 두 가지를 사용하여서 이동성을 지원한다. 그리고 MN(Mobile Node)도 Active 상태와 Dormant 상태로 두 가지 상태로 나뉘는데 Dormant 상태에서 상대방이 통신을 요청하면 페이징(Paging) 과정을 통해서 Active 상태로 전이된다. 페이징을 할 때 LA(Location Area)에 속해있는 모든 셀(Cell)에 페이징 메시지를 전송하게 됨으로서 네트워크의 자원을 과도하게 사용하게 된다. 이것을 해결하기 위해서 프럭시(Proxy) 를 두는 방안을 제안하였다. 프럭시에서 MN 들이 존재하는 셀 정보를 유지 함으로서 페이징 요청이 있을 때 정확한 셀에 메시지를 전송하게 되기 때문에 네트워크 자원의 낭비를 줄일 수 있다.

The social culture critics say that the current situation of the boom in pretty men happened because stereotyped notions of sex roles have changed. However, no scientific study has been done as yet to support this theory. Therefore, this study analyzed the present situation and examined it from many different points of view. I asked 600 men to fill out the questionnaire: 300 from Daegu and the other 300 from Seoul. I analyzed four 461 of them. The inner/outer image of Korean males in their 20s was analyzed into seven factors, a positive image, a progressive image, an affirmative image, a sensible image, an exemplary image, a conscious image, and an active image. The demographic result based on the inner/outer image factors showed a significant difference in ages for a sensible image, a conscious image, and an active image.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify stress and coping patterns of manufacturing male workers. Method: Data were collected from 215 manufacturing male workers and analyzed by SPSS WIN 12.0 Results: The total job stress score was 41.41 and the mean of the daily hassles score was 1.60. Related to the coping type, direct-active coping was the highest among four types of coping. Indirect-active coping was the second, followed by direct-passive coping and indirect-passive coping. Job stress score and daily hassles score were highly correlated by passive coping types. Conclusion: Occupational health management program including coping strategy is required to relieve workers' stress.
