Background : The purpose of this study was to understand general attitudes of physicians toward hospital quality improvement activities who have been members of QA committee in 32 Korean university hospitals. Methods : A postal survey about opinions of hospital quality improvement activities and desirable policy directions was sent to 328 QA committee member physicians. The questionnaires were composed of 48 items. In total 152 physicians responded to this survey(response rate: 49.3%). This study was carried out from January to February 1996. Results : Most physicians(97.5%) recognized the necessity of hospital QA activities. The most dominant supporting reason for quality activities was to improve clinical outcome. Two thirds of physicians regarded their own hospital activities for quality improvement as inactive. They considered that the obstacles were too little concern(33.6%), unclear objectives(28.9%), lack of human resources(14.3%), and insufficient education and training for quality improvement(10.1%). The most favoring policy among respondents was to give health care providers economic incentives. Provision of education and training for implementing quality improvement was the next to it. Physicians revealed their preferences for professional society, government, health insurance societies, consumer groups, hospital labor unions, and mass media in sequence as sponsoring agencies for hospital accreditation program. Conclusion : These study suggested that the concrete means for motivating physicians and promoting constructive partnership among related parties should be developed in order to activate current hospital quality activities in Korea.
The purpose of this study was to explore the extent of difficulties experienced by facilitators in the rural field forum and to derive a theoretical model for improving the satisfaction of facilitators in the rural field forum. Based on grounded theory, qualitative analysis used data collected through individual in-depth interviews with 10 facilitators who are working at the rural field forum. This collected data was analyzed using the Nvivo 11 program. Using a derived theoretical model, the result of analyzing the difficulties experienced by facilitators in the rural field forum showed the core phenomenon identified as difficulties on-site the forum. There was a clarification of the issues regarding improvement of their labour conditions in order to solve the difficulties on-site the forum. The issues towards improving labour conditions were low allowance, equal assignment, guaranteed four major insurances and so on. The facilitators have been trying to activate the rural field forum by promoting their own capacity through the cooperation between colleagues, post training, seminars, and conferences.
The purposes of this study were to search for the ways to activate the Gochang Blackberry Festival by examining the visitors to the festival and utilizing the results to make efficient use of the local resources and vitalize the area. The results indicate that the visitors were aware of Gochang blackberry's superiority to that of other regions in quality and commercial value but lacked in the recognition of its related products, which suggests that the Gochang government should make diverse efforts to heighten their recognition of the products. There was a great demand for improving and supplementing the local festivals ad experience programs related to Gochang blackberry. It's thus required to reinforce new experience programs and develop various programs by incorporating blackberry into other local resources. The study has its limitations since its subjects were restricted to the visitors of the Gochang Blackberry Festival and it failed to investigate the preference factors of general potential tourists with the small sample. In future study, they need to use a bigger sample of general public to generalize the research findings.

Recently, as individual 3D avatars are rapidly generalized in internet sites, its commercial applications for fashion business are being tried in ubiquitous fashion shopping era. In this research, we have investigated and analyzed patent problems of 3D avatar including personal body data to activate the fashion business using 3D avatars. Here, considering the patents for 3D face and body generation methods are already published, this research is focused on whole 3D body avatar obtained from individual body information. Firstly, definition of 3D avatar and its application cases have been investigated and then it has been researched whether or not legal protections by patent law, copyright law, computer program protection law, design protection law and fair competition laws are feasible in view of the subjects to be protected in each law and requirements for such protections. It was revealed that patent law may provide legal protections for 3D avatar and domestic and foreign patents related to 3D avatar have been researched.
In the modern society, Archives are an available subject to the people of a nation and it is indispensable to build and appropriate access environment in order to connect the users and the registered records stored in the facilities. Specially, the Closed Shelves Access system, based on the notion of "a Policy of Archives Preservation", needs to be fully equipped with an access environment more adequate to its necessities. Hence, this study has analyzed all sorts of environments-institutional, organizational, human, physical and intellectual- from a general perspective in order to activate users to read the archives and based on this, the objective of the research is in proposing a program that effectively provides archives to the users and provides the basis for putting into practice an active access environment. The use of archives is the fountainhead in order to preserve archives. By using the archives, the meaning of preserving them is maximized. Whether these archives may be used or not will depend on the quality of information and the advancement of the access environment. Therefore, in order to motivate users to access the archives, first of all the facilities and the archivists must establish norms regarding the access, based on statutes and once they have been settled, they should provide other changes such as ; the development and fixation in the organization's structure, the education of specialized human labor, the expansion of physical space and the facilities and diverse positive services.
Background: Breathing is the essential step of Pilates exercise and can be used to activate core muscles. Although the effects of breathing exercise on pain, breathing muscles, and cervical posture have been extensively studied, little is known about the impact of Pilates breathing on spinal posture and alignment. Purpose: To determine the effect of 3D-Pilates breathing exercise on spinal curvature and alignment of healthy adults during corrected to normal alignment. Design: One group pre-post test design Methods: Eighteen participants were given a 3D-pilates breathing exercise twice a week (20 minutes per session) for three weeks and warmed up for 10 minutes before each exercise session. To examine spinal curvature and alignment of each subject, this study used radiation free rasterstereography (Formetric III, Germany). Paired t-test and Wilcoxon signed rank test were performed to determine the difference between pre and post exercise. Results: There were statistically significant differences in height (p<.001), kyphosis angle (p<.05), trunk imbalance (p<.05), kyphotic apex (p<.01), cervical fleche (p<.05), pelvic tilt (p<.01), and lateral deviation (p<.05) between before and after 3D Pilates breathing exercise. However, there was no significant difference in lordosis angle. Conclusions: The study results indicated that three week 3D-pilates breathing exercise program could be presented as an effective rehabilitation method for improving spinal curvature and alignment.
The purpose of this study is to analyze the current condition of green building education, which is a necessary condition to activate green architecture, with the need to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in the building sector. The main results are as follows. First, the level of education and the level of domestic green architecture were generally underestimated. In conclusion, the program developed through this study is a convenient function that can process everything in one place by connecting the fragmented teaching results, and the developed e-teaching portfolio can promote interaction between individuals by building a community. It has possible characteristics. In order to systematically activate the e-teaching portfolio developed through this study, it is necessary to establish an online management system for systematic operation. Furthermore, an institutional device is needed to guarantee the result of the developed e-teaching portfolio. In order to continuously manage the quality of the teaching portfolio, extrinsic rewards that stimulate the instructor's intrinsic motivation should be provided.
