  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the characteristics that appear when actual comedy movie is made into animation, from the singularities which arise from producing remake of existing media contents into animation. Animation and slapstick comedy movies possess a similarity in that they both evoke laughter from the viewer via exaggerated motion, expression and action. In the case of live action film, people must carry out the acting and there exists spatial limitations, whereas animation does not have such limits, which allows the comic animation to materialize spatial scene directing and acting which are different from that of live action comic films, despite the fact that they share elements of the same genre. Accordingly, this study performs comparative analysis of and which is based on the contents of the same event, from the English comedy TV program and the , the TV animation which is a remake animated version of the original series, to conduct comparative analysis the character acting and the scene directing in accordance with the live action movie and animation. The result of studying the point that makes it easy to create comic genre into animation and the advantages possessed by the media of animation, through analyzing two works that deal with the same character and the same event, were as follows. It was proven through the analysis that comedic directing with doubled composure and amusement is possible through the anticipation of exaggerated directing in the acting through expression and action, and diversity of the episodes with added imagination in the story, as well as the estrangement effect of the slapstick expression and etc.

  • This article analyzes Sergei Eisenstein's acting theory, which is famous for his Russian montage. According to the existing discussions, he avoids the psychological realism through the concept of cut acting. It is a method like montage from the viewpoint that the practice of the cut action is segmented into shots. While Vsevolod Pudovkin, who asserts a connection montage, is looking for performance to portray a gradual change of emotion adopted by Konstantin Stanislavsky's psychological realism, Eisenstein prefers the acting of Vsevolod Meyerhold's masks in the same manner as the collision montage. This article traces the viewpoints on acting and actor that Eisenstein posed throughout his montage theory. It focuses on Film Sense(1942) and Film Form(1949), which are a collection of articles written by Eisenstein. As a result of examining the domestic and foreign literatures centering on Korean and English, it is hard to find the discussions on the analysis of Eisenstein's acting theory. Almost all of them are concentrated in his montage, among which the mention of acting is extremely limited. The cut acting, the typage, the inner techniques and processes of actor that express and induce the living emotions, and the acting of the integrating into diversity as one of the inner language are useful concepts in the creation and case analysis of contemporary films. Especially, his acting theory can be applied in the creation process of cartoons, webtoons, and animations which can meet the most decisive and impressive montage technique of Eisenstein. It is also possible to find many related cases for the analysis. This is why I look back on Eisenstein's film acting theory, and the results of the discussion will be a sufficient foundation for the derivation of related research.

  • The purpose of this study is to evaluate the accuracy of IMRT in our clinic from based on TG119 procedure and establish action level. Five IMRT test cases were described in TG119: multi-target, head&neck, prostate, and two C-shapes (easy&hard). There were used and delivered to water-equivalent solid phantom for IMRT. Absolute dose for points in target and OAR was measured by using an ion chamber (CC13, IBA). EBT2 film was utilized to compare the measured two-dimensional dose distribution with the calculated one by treatment planning system. All collected data were analyzed using the TG119 specifications to determine the confidence limit. The mean of relative error (%) between measured and calculated value was $1.2{\pm}1.1%$ and $1.2{\pm}0.7%$ for target and OAR, respectively. The resulting confidence limits were 3.4% and 2.6%. In EBT2 film dosimetry, the average percentage of points passing the gamma criteria (3%/3 mm) was $97.7{\pm}0.8%$. Confidence limit values determined by EBT2 film analysis was 3.9%. This study has focused on IMRT commissioning and quality assurance based on TG119 guideline. It is concluded that action level were ${\pm}4%$ and ${\pm}3%$ for target and OAR and 97% for film measurement, respectively. It is expected that TG119-based procedure can be used as reference to evaluate the accuracy of IMRT for each institution.

  • Silmido [실미도 2003] captures the covered historical reality and describes the spectacular training process of the special army stationed at Silmido in vivid detail. As a result, a fictional space is turned into a reality film. The film shows ideological inconsistency of the critical view about the fascism of government authority and at the same time the political aid about government authority. The film creates dramatic and friendly effect through melodramatic and emotional exaggeration called sinpa about historical events to produce the pleasure of assimilation based on the trust of the audience. Here, individual assimilation is subjectivity achieved through the general sympathy coming from the tragic national discourse. Silmido appeals to the imaginary community not in a logical but in an emotional way. The spectacular action and realistic images are supported by national tragedy divided into the South Korea and the North Korea, and integrated sentimentalism to amplify the tragedy. Silmido tries to strengthen the tragic situation caused by the division ideology through this sentimentalism called sinpa. In contrast to the brutality of the relentless military regime, the sacrifice of good-hearted Silmido force members is heroically portrayed.

  • Surface texturing is widely applied to reduce friction and improve the reliability of machine elements. Despite extensive theoretical studies to date, most research has been limited to parallel thrust bearings, mechanical face seals, piston rings, etc. However, most sliding bearings have a convergent film shape in the sliding direction and the hydrodynamic pressure is mainly generated by the wedge action. The results of surface texturing on inclined slider bearings are largely insufficient. This paper is the first part of a recent study focusing on the effect of the groove position on the lubrication performances of inclined slider bearings. We model a slider bearing with one rectangular groove on a fixed pad and analyze the continuity and Navier-Stokes equations using a commercial computational fluid dynamics (CFD) code, FLUENT. The results show that the film convergence ratio and the groove position have a significant influence on the pressure and velocity distributions. There are groove positions to maximize the supporting load with the film convergence ratio and the groove reduces the frictional force acting on the slider. Therefore, the proper groove position not only improves the load-carrying capacity of the slider bearings but also reduces its frictional loss. The present results apply to various surface-textured sliding bearings and can lead to further studies.

  • Lacan's Identification theory has been applied to various cultural genres such as literature, film, media so on. Especially, Identification theory in Film Theory gives game researchers who try to apply identification theory to the game, a concrete base. This paper aims to explain the gamer's action through identification theory. Thus, we divide identification into the level of the gamer's point of view and that of the character in game text. While point-on-view of identification, the primary identification, in film has been explained that the audience identifies with camera's point-of view, in game one identifies with various point-of-views. There are two aspects of Identification of characters in game. First, gamers identify themselves with moving images on screen. Second, They identify with the roles given to themselves. The factors which allow them identification are suppression of false statement system, interpolation and process of selection, arrangement, a cursor, colours on screen.

  • Photovoltaics is considered as one of the most promising new energy technology, because its energy source is omni present, pollution-free and inexhaustive. It is agreed that these solar cells must be thin film type because thin film process is cost-efficive in the fact that it uses much less raw materials and can be continuous. The defect chalcopyrite material $CuIn_3Se_5$ has been identified as playing an essential role in efficient photovoltaic action in $CuInSe_2$-based devicesm It has been reported to be of n-type conductivity, forming a p-n junction with its p-type counterpart $CuInSe_2$. Because the most efficient cells consist of the $Cu(In,Ga)Se_2$ quarternary, knowledge of some physical properties of the Ga-containing defect chalcopyrite $Cu(In,Ga)_3Se_5$ may help us better understand the junction phenomena in such devices.

  • Degradation performance of environmentally friendly plastics that can be disintegrated by combination of sunlight, microbes in soil, and heat produced in landfills was evaluated for use in industries. Two multi-degradable master batches (MCC-101 and MCC-102 were manufactured, separately mixed with polyethylene using film molding machine to produce 0.025 mm thick films, and exposed to sunlight, microbes, and heat. Low- and high-density polyethylene (LDPE and HDPE) films containing MCC-101 and MCC-102 became unfunctional by increasing severe cleavage at the surface and showed high reduction in elongation after 40 days of exposure to ultraviolet light. LDPE and HDPE films showed significant physical degradation after 100 and 120 days, respectively, of incubation at $68{\pm}2^{\circ}C$. SEM images of films cultured in mixed mold spore suspension at $30^{\circ}C$ and 85% humidity for 30 days revealed accelerated biodegradation on film surfaces by the action of microbes. LDPE films containing MCC-l01 showed absorption of carbonyls, photo-sensitive sites, at $1710\;cm${-1}$ when exposed to light for 40 days, whereas those not exposed to ultraviolet light showed no absorption at the same frequency. MCC-101-based LDPE films showed much lower $M_w$ distribution after exposure to UV than its counterpart, due to agents accelerating photo-degradation contained in MCC-101.

  • Acting is an act of expressing personality, image, sound, tempo, and movement flexibility in order to effectively express fictional characters in the play. It is said to refer to the action or mood of the person performing the character. In addition, all these acts are important elements of the media that the director wants to convey the subject of the work to the audience. In particular, the actor relies on the ambience, image and passionate role of winning and losing in theatrical film. In addition, more than 60% of the afterimages or remaining images in the film are images of the actor's acting or movement, and the trend of the actor. This study is not about acting divided by Conti, who is under the control of directors and directors. The purpose of this study is to analyze the aesthetic response and analyze the inner half of the suspense in the act and to help influence the expression that is effective in expressing the play.
