Microsurgery, which deservedly sits on top of the reconstruction ladder, has been a boon to plastic surgery. It is because of this marvelous tool that plastic surgeons the world over have been able to tackle many reconstructive dilemmas, which were once considered to be an improbability. Microsurgery-aided revolutions have rendered a new meaning to all forms of reconstruction-whether it is postoncological, posttraumatic, or postlymphedema reconstruction. As the most advanced reconstructive medium at our disposal that has broadened the horizons of plastic surgery exponentially, it is but obvious that many budding plastic surgeons are drawn toward this subspecialty. In lieu of the aforementioned facts, it is necessary to sensitize all such aspiring surgeons about the various intricacies concerning the field of microsurgery. This article with its focus on the six desirable microsurgical attributes of "Clarity, Curiosity, Perseverance, Passion, An Open Mindset and Action," is meant to be a modest attempt on part of the authors to share their microsurgical insights, procured through their respective journeys, with budding aspirants, hoping to sensitize as well as motivate them for the challenging path that lies ahead.

Purpose: The study was done to analyze the concept of accountability. Method: This study adopts a methode of Walker and Avant(1995) for analysis. Result: The defining attributes of accountability are obligation(competency, implementation) of justification, explanation, reporting and disclosure one's action to whom, acception of the evaluation and sanction against results of one's action. The antecedents of accountability are competency, knowledge, skills, values, duty, obligation, authority, empowerment, responsibility, autonomy. The consequences are public safety, improvement of professionalism & healthcare quality, partnership and stress & strain. Conclusions: It is required to develop the ethical concept and theory construction for accountability.

Unlike ordinary recreational facilities, an amusement park consists of various entertainment facilities, attractions, food services, souvenir shops and other attribute. The purpose of this study is to survey users´ responses to such attributes and analyze the importance and performance of each attribute, and thereby, ultimately help improve the efficiency of management and operation of the amusement parks. For this purpose, a survey was conducted of Everland users in August, 1999. 420 users were chosen by means of he systematic sampling. All the suers were asked to rate the importance of 14 attributes of Everland at the entrance and all of them were asked to do the same at the exit. As a result, it was found that the attribute rated highest by the users was ´attraction´, followed by ´service´, ´accessibility´ and ´cost´ in that order. On the other hand, it was found that the total average of importance rated for 14 attributes was 3.31, while that of performance was 3.10. As a consequence of analyzing the action grids, it was found that ´appropriateness of the circulation system´ should be improved most urgently. 7 attributes were categorized as ´keeping up good work´, and 6 ones were rated ´low priority´ in terms of improvement. There was no attribute considered to be ´possible overkill´. Meanwhile, as a result of analyzing the difference among groups in order to determine users´ response depending on their demographic and socio-economic variables, it was found that only the ´age´ variable was significant. It is expected that the results that the results of this study would be useful in determining priorities when improving amusement park facilities or their programs.

환경문제의 심각성이 확산되면서 컨벤션산업에서도 친환경적인 경영활동이 중요한 이슈로 떠오르고 있다. 이러한 현실을 반영하여 국내외 정부기관 및 컨벤션 관련 조직 등에서 친환경 컨벤션 운영을 위한 가이드라인이 제시되고 있으며 연구자들에 의해 다양한 관련 연구가 진행되고 있으나, 주로 주최자와 공급자의 관점에서 이루어져 왔다. 이에 본 연구는 컨벤션 최종 수요자인 참가자의 관점에서 접근하여 컨벤션 참가자들의 환경문제에 관한 인식수준을 파악하고, 환경인식수준에 따른 친환경 컨벤션 속성에 대한 참가자의 수용도와 참여의도를 밝히고자 하였다. 실증분석결과, 컨벤션 참가자들은 전반적으로 환경문제에 대해 높은 인식수준을 가지고 있으며, 친환경 컨벤션 운영을 위한 구체적인 실천방안 수립의 필요성을 가장 높게 인식하고 있는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 참가자의 친환경 컨벤션 속성에 관한 수용도는 '개최장소>참가활동>교통수단>식음료>현장운영' 순으로 나타났다. 아울러 환경인식수준이 높은 집단은 낮은 집단에 비해 친환경 컨벤션 속성에 대해 모두 높은 수용도를 가지고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 친환경 컨벤션 속성이 참가자의 참여 의도에 미치는 영향에 있어서는 두 집단 사이에 약간의 차이가 있으나 '교통수단', '참가활동', '현장운영'은 공통적으로 참여의도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

The trends in nursing practice are not disease-oriented approaches but holistic, humanistic approaches such as human touch, which is an easily applied, economic, and efficient intervention. The purposes of this paper were to clarify the meaning of the concept "touch" to define the precise attributes of “touch” which could be a basis for nursing interventions. This study uses Walker & Avant's process of concept analysis. The concept of touch can be defined as follows : Touch is a process of communication and physical contact with intention, which is transfered by tactile senses. Attributes of touch are defined as 1) It is transferred by tactile senses. 2) A process of communication 3) A expressive pathway of emotion 4) It has intention. Antecedents of "touch" consist that 1) the touch provider understands the touch receiver's perception of past experiences of touch : 2) the touch provider is concerned about the touch receiver and comes up to the touch receiver : 3) the touch provider wants to deliver his /her emotions ; 4) the touch receiver needs the ability to differentiate the tactile senses. In regard to the consequences of touch, it is expected to keep the touching action between the touch provider and receiver, to feel empathy, to able to perceive the consumer's needs, to feel comfort, intimacy, trust, and to calm down the physiological variables. That is performing the nursing as a caring science.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to analyze the concept of self-care in elders with dementia through a review of nursing literature and to provide more understanding of the definition and perspectives of the concept of self-care notion in elders with dementia. Methods: The technique developed by Walker and Avant was used as a guide in analyzing the concept of self-care. Results: Attributes of self-care in dementia may include a single or group of actions needed for sustaining life, a personal effort to maintain functional independence while minimizing other's assistance, an outcome behavior from the person's interaction with inter-personal and/or contextual environment, and a functional ability that may decline in parallel to cognitive impairment. Antecedents of self-care in dementia may include at least presence of a certain degree of cognitive appraisal for the self-care needs, self-willingness for the self-care action, spatial and visual orientation, cultural pre-conception of the self-care behavior, presence of environmental context/equipment available for self-care, and sufficient time available. The consequences may include sustaining of life, feel of satisfaction, achieving independence, extended life expectancy, increased self-confidence, decreased caregiver distress and/or burden, savings in health care costs. Discussion: Defining attributes and antecedents and consequences of self-care in dementia identified in this study provided empirical ground of a middle-range theory of self-care for a clinical population with dementia and generated possible hypotheses to be tested in future studies.

The study has made theoretical system by thesis journals at home and abroad, material of the Association of Convenience Store Industry of Korea, materials of Statistics Korea and reference books. First, the study examined convenience store's brand image, cognized value, quality level, reliability upon brand, structural relation of purchasing intention, and designed models and theses. Second, the first questionnaire consisted of test items of precedent study, and inspected in advance to inspect reliability and appropriateness, and made correction and supplemented problems. Third, SPSS and AMOS statistics were used to conduct empirical analysis and to find out conclusion and implications. In this study, the subject was consumers who visited local convenience stores such as GS25, Seven Eleven and CU last 3 months to buy PB food. Consumers' consumption pattern and culture made change to be reasonable and practical owing to aging society, nuclear family, women's entering into the society, one person household consumer, and convenient and prompt buying to make different consumption pattern and to make change of commodity distribution pattern. Convenience store took action against change of the trend to expand business area by new distribution channels to get another growth source. Private brand (PB) food that was distributor's brand was expanded. The PB product has been competitiveness of food service industry.

The condition of the manufacturing process in a factory should be diagnosed and maintained efficiently because any unexpected disorder in the process will be reason to decrease the efficiency of the overall system. However, if an expert experienced in this system leaves, there will be a problem for the efficient process diagnosis and maintenance, because disorder diagnosis within the process is normally dependent on the expert's experience. This paper suggests a process diagnosis using data mining based on the collected data from the coil-spring manufacturing process. The rules are generated for the relations between the attributes of the process and the output class of the product using a decision tree after selecting the effective attributes. Using the generated rules from decision tree, the condition of the current process is diagnosed and the possible maintenance actions are identified to correct any abnormal condition. Then, the appropriate maintenance action is recommended using the decision network.

이 연구는 트윗과 리트윗 행위가 기존 매스미디어의 기능을 제한적으로 대체한다고 가정하고, 트위터 사용자의 리트윗 행위에 내재한 동기를 파악하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 래더링 방법을 이용하여 트윗된 메시지의 속성 (Attributes), 리트윗을 함으로써 얻는 결과(Consequences), 그리고 이를 통해서 궁극적으로 추구하는 가치(Values)에 대한 참가자들의 응답을 토대로 질적인 데이터를 구성하고, 여기에서 떠오르는 중요한 테마들(theme)을 기록, 분석했다. 그 결과 리트윗의 이유로 두드러지는 것은 공감과 공유를 통한 자기만족의 가치였고, 이를 위해서 화제성과 정보성이 포함된 트윗 메시지들을 리트윗하는 경향이 많다는 것을 밝혔다. 또 다른 테마로는 공감과 공유를 통해서 남들에게 필요한 도움을 직, 간접적으로 주고자 하는 이타적인 목적과 사회발전추구, 공동체적 의식 등의 공동체적 가치 또한 발견되었다. 연구결과 추출된 총 48항목은 요인분석을 이용하여 몇 개의 잠재변인으로 나눌 수 있는가를 살펴보는 후속연구에 사용되었다.

만화영상은 이미지적 속성과 언어적 속성으로 되어있으며, 유머와 풍자적 내용이 밀접하게 관계되어 있다. 그리고 영상매체에서 동물 소재로 표현되었던 풍자적 표현 기법들을 연구 ${\cdot}$ 분석한다. 그 방법으로 이론적 배경은 동물 만화 영상의 역사적 배경으로 선사시대 원시 동굴 벽화로부터 시작하여 현대의 다양한 만화영상 캐릭터 산업까지 간략한 흐름을 살펴본다. 그리고 동물 풍자적 표현 유형으로 동물 묘사의 문학적 표현의 다양한 유형을 정리해 본다. 마지막으로 문학에서의 풍자 표현 기법인 비유적 표현, 상징적 표현, 수사적 표현들의 개념을 알아보고 비교하여 작품분석을 시도한다. 이러한 시도는 기존에 개념화되었던 인문학적 분류와 새로운 시각영상예술인 만화영상매체에 의미 연결 및 결합의 기초 분석법을 제시하고, 또한 자료들을 데이터베이스화함을 목적으로 한다. 이러한 축적된 자료들은 만화영상에 창작되는 동물 캐릭터들의 내적인 풍자 속성의 이야기 생산 및 그 의미작용에 대한 세부적인 자료를 제시할 것이다.
