  • Decision analysis has becomes an important technique for decision making in the face of uncertainty. It is characterized by enumerating all the available courses of action, identifying the payoffs for all possible outcomes, and quantifying the subjective probabilities for the all possible random events. When the data are available, decision analysis becomes a powerful tool for determining an optimal course of action. In this paper, we use the analytic hierarchy process in weights calculating. For the purpose of making optimal decision, the data of three different smart phones models are used.

다양성과 재사용성을 가진 가상 인간의 기본 행동 구현 (Implementation of the basic Actions for Virtual Human with Diversity and Reusability)

  • 본 논문은 가상세계속의 가상인간의 다양한 행동들을 제한된 개수의 기본행동들로써 구현하고자 한다. 먼저 객체들의 속성과 행동 등을 통합적으로 나타내주는 지식베이스인 온톨로지를 사용하여 다양한 행동들을 행동계층구조로 조직하고 그 속에서 행동들은 세부 행동들로 구체화한다. 가상인간의 기본행동은 기초 동작들의 조합으로 만들어지고 기본행동들을 최대한 재사용함으로써 다양한 행동들을 효과적으로 구현할 수 있게 설계한다. 이 때 기본행동들을 정밀성이나 사실성보다 간소함과 다양성에 초점을 맞추어 구현하고자 한다. 이를 바탕으로 가상 에이전트들의 특성을 파악하고 특성에 따라 에이전트가 고유의 패턴을 가지고 동작을 생성하는 방법을 개발한다. 또한 가상의 에이전트가 주변의 정성적 변화에 적응하여 동작을 변화하는 방법을 제시한다. 이렇게 제시된 방법들을 인간의 실제 움직임들 즉, 걷기, 달리기, 던지기 등의 동작에 적용해 실현가능성을 검증한다.

AHP를 활용한 안전한 제품을 공급하기 위한 기업의 전략적 실행방안 (Strategic Action Plan for Companies to Supply Safe Products Using AHP Technology)

  • Purpose: In this study, the detailed implementation plan for product safety evaluation and management suggested by KS A ISO 10377 to reduce the risk of harm to consumers and users is presented so that companies can strategically implement it. Methods: In order to achieve the purpose of this study, the upper elements and detailed execution plans shown in KS A 10377 are classified into hierarchies and set as a decision hierarchy. A pairwise comparison is performed to derive it. Results: Among the top factors, 'design safety (D)' was the most important factor, with 0.314. Therefore, ensuring safety in the design stage that can prevent defects in advance is the most important action plan for companies to supply safe products. Conclusion: The results of this study, it is intended to help companies and related organizations more easily understand and continuously apply KS A ISO 10377.

Analytic Hierarchy Process for Prioritizing Radiation Safety Measures in Medical Institutions

  • Background: This study aimed to prioritize policy measures to improve radiation safety management in medical institutions using the analytic hierarchy process. Materials and Methods: It adopted three policy options-engineering, education, and enforcement-to categorize safety management measures, the so-called Harvey's 3Es. Then, the radiation safety management measures obtained from the current system and other studies were organized into action plan categories. Using the derived model, this study surveyed 33 stakeholders of radiation safety management in medical institutions and analyzed the importance of each measure. Results and Discussion: As a result, these stakeholders generally identified enforcement as the most important factor for improving the safety management system. The study also found that radiation safety officers and medical physicists perceived different measures as important, indicating clear differences in opinions among stakeholders, especially in improving quality assurance in radiation therapy. Hence, the process of coordination and consensus is likely to be critical in improving the radiation safety management system. Conclusion: Stakeholders in the medical field consider enforcement as the most critical factor in improving their safety management systems. Specifically, the most crucial among the six specific action plans was the "reinforcement of the organization and workforce for safety management," with a relative importance of 25.7%.

  • This paper presents a new behavior planning scheme for autonomous robots, allowing them to handle various objects used in our daily lives. The key idea underlying the proposed scheme is to use affordance concepts that provide a robot with action possibilities triggered by a relation between the robot and objects around it. Specifically, the robot attempts to find the affordances and to determine the most adequate action among them. Through a series of the perception processes, robot motions can be planned and performed to complete assigned tasks. What is of particular importance from the practical point of view is a decision making capability to determine the best choice by comparing the human's body characteristics and behavioral patterns as criteria with action possibilities as alternatives. For this, the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) technique is employed to systematically evaluate the correlation between the criteria and the alternatives. Moreover, the alternatives arranged in order of priority through the decision making process enable the robot to have redundant solutions for the assigned task, resulting in flexible motion generation. The effectiveness and validity of the proposed scheme are verified by performing extensive simulations using objects of our daily use.

기본 동작들과 클래스 상속에 기초한 4족 동물의 다양한 '보행' 표현 (Representation of 'Walk' for Quadruped Animal Based on Primitive Action and Class Inherit)

  • 본 논문에서 4족(quadruped) 동물들의 여러 가지 인스턴스(instance)들에 대한 '보행(walk)'의 모델링을 간단하게 하기 위한 방법이다. 최초의 클래스 계층에서 정교하게 모델화 된 4족 동물 사용에 의해 최초의 클래스 계층에서 정의 되어 지지 않은 새로운 하위 클래스의 인스턴스에 대해 쉽게 확장하는 '보행'의 모델을 제안한다. 이 방법을 얻기 위해서 분석된 walk의 패턴과 이전에 조사한 클래스 계층에서 연구되어진 4족 동물의 유사한 구조를 따라 분류하고 적용한다. 그리고 상위 클래스(super class)에서 상속되는 동작(action)에 대한 방법을 제안한다. 본 논문은 4족 동물의 특징들을 구체화함으로써 4족 동물의 'walk'를 모델화 하고 필요한 요인들을 정의하였다. 또한 '보행'의 파라메타들에 관한 도메인들을 사용하고 4족 동물의 전형적인 인스턴스들인 말과 소를 모델을 적용한다.

Priority Factors of Service Recovery Strategy in Distribution Channel

  • In this study, we tried to evaluate the relative importance and find out the differences in consumer perceptions regarding service recovery strategies and the service provider in the distribution industry by using AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) analysis method. Therefore in this study, we tried to systematize various recovery strategies which were considered very important during service failure process in the distribution industry and analyze the relative importance for each recovery strategy. We set hierarchy composed of four items of monetary, action-oriented, psychological, and assured level as primary selection criteria and a total of 16 items(indemnity, refund, gift, gift certificate, prompt resolution, exchange, manager support, explanation, apology, empathy, acknowledge, kindness, assortment, after service, manage subcontractor, manage employee) as secondary selection criteria. We tried to take one step further from the service sector and study service recovery strategies specialized in distributor services. This study suggests various implications about service recovery strategies of distributors. First, this study can provide practical implications - e.g. service recovery efforts should be applied differently depending on service channels. There is a perceptual difference with respect to the importance of the types of service recovery strategies between service provider and final customer. Second, we can find theoretical implications in terms of identifying the priorities through hierarchy design of new recovery strategies and comparison of each element from the classifications of the current fractional recovery strategies. We hope to help service providers to build more efficient recovery strategy system based on the results of this study.

흡혈 박쥐(Desmodus rotundus)집단에 있어서의 서열관계

  • 남미산 흡혈박쥐구esmodus rohndusl의 서열관계에 대해 자연상태와 유사한 조건하에서 사육상태의 집단을 연구하였다. 이들의 서열은 먹이장소에서 2마리의 성체들이 만났을때 4가지로 서로 다른 행동들(도망가기, 날아가기, 기다리기, 피하기)에 의해 결정했다. 공격행동(싸움후 도망가기)은 관찰된 전체행동들 가운데 16호로 비교적 적게 나타났다. 암컷들의 서열은 일부 먹이 서열에 의해서도 반영되었다. Harem수컷은 non-harem수컷들에 대해서 우위를 차지하였으며 열세 행동을 보여 주었다. 그러나 이 harem 수컷은 그의 성적 파트너에 대해서는 공격행동을 보이지 않았다. Dominance relationship was investigated in a captive of Desmodus rotundus, a neotopical sangivorous bat, under seminaturalistic conditions. The hierarchy was determined from four different behaviors (flee, fly-out, avoid, wait) by the encounter of ho adult bats on the feeding site. The aggressive action (flee after fighting) was relatively low (16%) compare to the other three observed behaviors. The hierarchy of the females reflected sometimes in the feeding order The harem male dominated the non-harem males and exhibited his territorial behavior. However, to his sex partners he didn't show aggressions.

  • In this paper, a model of adaptive individual life support system is proposed from the viewpoint of cybernetics. This model is derived based on the relation between human behavior and human action, static and dynamic in processing speed, and abstract/concrete. In applications, task and information of human which includes in this system analyzed by paying attention to cybernetics. This paper shows a few actual example of modeling by fundamental adaptive individual life support model such as medical diagnosis, health care and education support. Finally as an example, design and implementation are concretely carried out for health care support system. This is also a method to design a information support system which is involved in human.

  • 가상 세계에서 가상 에이전트가 가져야 할 가장 기본적인 기능 중 하나가 이동을 위한 움직임이라 할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 가상 세계의 Human의 움직임을 모델링하기 위해 객체들의 속성과 Action등을 나타내주는 지식베이스인 온톨로지를 사용하고, 이를 통해서 계층 관계를 구성하고 상속성을 적용한 모델링을 하고자 한다. 그리고 이를 바탕으로 가상 에이전트의 특성을 파악하고 특성에 따라 에이전트가 고유의 패턴을 가지고 동작을 생성하는 방법에 대해 제안한다. 또한 가상의 에이전트가 주변의 정성적 변화에 적응하여 동작을 변화하는 방법을 제시한다. 이렇게 제시된 방법들을 Human의 실제 움직임들 즉, walk, run, creep 등의 동작에 적용해 본다.
