차량 위치추적기반 교통신호등 제어용 UWB 시스템의 Acquisition 알고리즘 연구 (RASE Acquisition Algorithm of Ultra Wideband System for Car Positioning and Traffic Light Control)

  • 본 논문에서는 고정밀 차량위치 추적 기반의 교통신호등 제어를 위한 저전송율 초광대역 무선통신 시스템에서의 Ultra Fast Acquisition 알고리즘을 연구하였다. 현재 CDMA에서 사용되는 acquisition방식으로는 저전송율 UWB시스템에서 회로가 복잡해지고 빠른 acquisition을 기대할 수 없기 때문에 새로운 Ultra Fast Acquisition방식이 필요하다. 기본적으로 Sequential Estimation방식을 사용하며 trinomial m-시퀀스를 사용하여 유비쿼터스 센서 네트워크용 U시스템에서 long PN code를 사용하는 경우에도 회로의 복잡도를 줄이고 FCC Emission limit을 만족시키면서, $1\~3{\mu}sec$이내의 acquisition을 가능하도록 설계하였다.

  • During the 'Cold War', DoD had focused on the high performance and timely acquisition which enabled quick field out the superior weapons than the enemy regardless of acquisition cost. But, after the cold war, the focus has been changed to the 'cost effective acquisition' of weapon systems because of tremendous investment cost & economic theory. The U.S. DoD has been tried to make 'the most effective acquisition system'(AR, Acquisition Reform) from mid-80's with their enough experienced program data, and as a result, they had launched the new acquisition procedure - DoD 5000 series - in 1996. DoD is continuously doing the study and making several improvements on the procedure after it had been once announced. On Oct 30. 2002, DoD noticed that they cancelled the DoD 5000 series documents(5000.1, 5000.2, 5000.2-R) and 5000.2-R will be reissued as a guide. The most recent version which focused on 1) evolutionary acquisition and spiral development, 2) procedure for future technology systems including software and IT, 3) supplement on the area of efficiency, flexibility, creativity and innovation of old system was issued by May 12. 2003. This article suggests a 'good idea' based on the reviewing of these DoD efforts for our defense acquisition regulation and procedure to go. It includes the CAIV concept application, IPT utilization, T&E method, cost or price based contract etc-all for the effective acquisition.

  • In this paper, the multi-channel high speed data acquisition system is implemented. This high speed signal processing system for 3-D image display is applicable to the manipulation of a medical image processing, multimedia data and various fields of digital image processing. In order to convert the analog signal into digital one, A/D conversion circuit is designed. PCI interface method is designed and implemented, which is capable of transmission a large amount of data to computer. In order to, especially, channel extendibility of images acquisition, bus communication method is selected. By using this bus method, we can interface each module effectively. In this paper, 32-channel A/D conversion and PCI interface system for 3-dimensional and real-time display of the retina image is developed. The 32-channel image acquisition system and high speed data transmission system developed in this paper is applicable to not only medical image processing as 3-D representation of retina image but also various fields of industrial image processing in which the multi-point realtime image acquisition system is needed.

  • Define the importance and role of the acquisition strategy based on the Defense Acquisition Management System, diagnose and analyze the actual state of document preparation. We analyzed the timing and details of the basic strategy of the project in 2015 and suggested a supplementary plan to improve the efficiency of Military force improvement projects in conjunction with the Defense Planning and Management System. It is necessary to reduce the preparation period including the policy decision making process and then divide it into planning and programming stages to complement the role of acquisition strategy. In order to apply these improvements, the necessary revision of laws and regulations to be reviewed is referred to, enabling continuous research.

  • DS-CDMA is used to widely spread spectrum for a cellular mobile digital communication that maximizing users- capacity at the limited frequency bandwidth, solving technical matters with the channel. Especially, the capability of a spread spectrum receiver relied on fast code acquisition time at the demodulation. In this paper, we considered that fast code acquisition time when a spread spectrum system is designed, and existed code acquisition system set up one code epoch on a position at initial processing, but the proposed code acquisition system improved that two code epoch are set up at the same time, therefore code acquisition time is diminished in effect.   • To Manage the Defense Acquisition Process more efficiently, DAPA has looked over the applying SE process to the Eagle Acquisition Program. Based on comparing 'Requirement' with 'items suggested in the proposal' in RFP and analyzing the result by using Cradle, those items have been discovered with IPT, actualized and corrected. In addition, the computerized data base system makes easier to trace all changed and more efficiency to manage programs. Therefore, this study using SE in other acquisition program.

  • The types of service using location Information are being various and extending it's domain as wireless internet technology is developing and it's application part is widespread, so it is prospected that LBS (Location-Based Services) will be killer application in wireless internet services. This location information is basic and high value-added information, and this information services make prior GIS (Geography Information System) to be useful to anybody. The acquisition of this location information from moving object is very important part for these LBS. After this, when LBS is familiar to everybody, we can predict that LBS system load is so heavy for the acquisition of so many subscribers and vehicles. Moving object database (MODB) system manages objects like subscribes and vehicles that are moving and have telecommunication terminal checked one's location. MODB is consists of 4 part, moving object location acquisition part, moving object location storage part, moving object query processing part, and moving object application p art. In this MODB system, acquisition of moving object location part must provide guarantee location information as well as reduce telecommunication overhead. In this paper, we study of problems in acquisition a huge number o f moving objects location and design some acquisition strategies to reduce telecommunication overhead. And after implementation these strategies, we estimate performance of this system and quality of information.

  • Defense analysis & evaluation includes menace analysis, validation analysis, problem analysis, scientific technical analysis, technical trad-off analysis, alternative analysis, cost analysis, etc. Reliable related data is required to perform these analysis activities efficiently. but in case of these defense analysis & evaluation data acquisition system, the data is insufficient and scattered about each organization. the data of database system is also not utilized sufficiently. abroad technical data is also low level data such as catalog or military officer's collection. therefore, this paper propose defense analysis & evaluation data acquisition system by systems engineering process. we also propose construction method of data acquisition system.

  • In this study, we have developed the high resolution multichannel seismic data acquisition system and shallow marine seismic source. It is easy to operate our source system which utilizes piezoelectric transducer of high electrical power. According to water depth, survey condition and purpose, transducer number of source system can be easily changed in order to maximize field applicability. In the recording part, we used 24 bits and 8 channel high speed A/D board in order to achieve the improvement of data quality and the efficiency of data acquisition. The developed system was tested and varied with the data acquisition parameters such as source-receiver offset, and transducer number versus water depth for the field application.
