대형 초전도자석 테스트설비의 Data Acquisition&Control시스템 (Data Acquisition and Control System for a Large-scale Superconducting Test Facility)

  • SSTF(Samsung Superconducting Test Facility) has been constructed at Samsung Advanced Institute of Technology to test the KSTAR(Korea Superconducting Tokamak Advanced Research) superconducting magnets and conductors. The SSTF DAC(Data Acquisition and Control) system basically consists of VME I/O modules, host PCs, and Ethernet links. VxWorks is used for the real-time OS of the VME IOC(Input/output Controller). EPICS (Experimental Physics and Industrial Control System) provides a software architecture for the communication between IOCs and host PCs. For the efficient management of measured data, the database management programs through NFS(Network File System) have been developed and successfully operated. In this paper, the current status of the SSTF DAC system, DBMS(DataBase Management System), recent test results, and future plans are presented.

Low Computational FFT-based Fine Acquisition Technique for BOC Signals

  • Fast Fourier transform (FFT)-based parallel acquisition techniques with reduced computational complexity have been widely used for the acquisition of binary phase shift keying (BPSK) global positioning system (GPS) signals. In this paper, we propose a low computational FFT-based fine acquisition technique, for binary offset carrier (BOC) modulated BPSK signals, that depending on the subcarrier-to-code chip rate ratio (SCR) selectively utilizes the computationally efficient frequency-domain realization of the BPSK-like technique and two-dimensional compressed correlator (BOC-TDCC) technique in the first stage in order to achieve a fast coarse acquisition and accomplishes a fine acquisition in the second stage. It is analyzed and demonstrated that the proposed technique requires much smaller mean fine acquisition computation (MFAC) than the conventional FFT-based BOC acquisition techniques. The proposed technique is one of the first techniques that achieves a fast FFT-based fine acquisition of BOC signals with a slight loss of detection probability. Therefore, the proposed technique is beneficial for the receivers to make a quick position fix when there are plenty of strong (i.e., line-of-sight) GNSS satellites to be searched.

소형 센서 데이터 수집 및 전송 시스템 설계 (A Design of Small Size Sensor Data Acquisition and Transmission System)

  • 본 논문은 Cortex-M4 기반 소형 데이터수집, 융합 및 고속 전송시스템 대해서 기술하였다. 본 논문에서 설계한 데이터 수집 및 전송 시스템은 산업현장에서 발생되는 각종 데이터를 실시간 수집하여 서버 컴퓨터로 직접 자료를 전송할 수 있으며 간단한 필드-프레임을 개발해서 데이터 전송 속도를 향상 시켰다. 또한 각종 센서에서 수집된 여러종류의 데이터를 데이터 수집장치로 쉽게 전달할 수 있도록 디지털 신호 입력부와 아나로그 신호 입력부, 디지털 신호 출력부와 아나로그 신호 출력부가 별도로 구성되도록 설계하였다. 이러한 소형 데이터수집 시스템은 실시간으로 각종 데이터의 수집 및 고속 데이터 전송이 실시되어 산업현장에서 정밀한 제품들의 품질향상에 크게 기여하리라 판단된다.

Staphylococcus aureus Siderophore-Mediated Iron-Acquisition System Plays a Dominant and Essential Role in the Utilization of Transferrin-Bound Iron

  • Staphylococcus aureus is known to be capable of utilizing transferrin-bound iron, via both siderophore­and transferrin-binding protein (named IsdA)-mediated iron-acquisition systems. This study was designed in order to determine which iron-acquisition system plays the essential or dominant role with respect to the acquisition of iron from human transfenin, in the growth of S. aureus. Holotransferrin (HT) and partially iron-saturated transferrin (PT), but not apotransferrin (AT), were found to stimulate the growth of S. aureus. S. aureus consumed most of the transferrin-bound iron during the exponential growth phase. Extracellular proteases were not, however, involved in the liberation of iron from transferrin. Transferrin-binding to the washed whole cells via IsdA was not observed during the culture. The expression of IsdA was observed only in the deferrated media with AT, but not in the media supplemented with PT or HT. In contrast, siderophores were definitely produced in the deferrated media with PT and HT, as well as in the media supplemented with AT. The siderophores proved to have the ability to remove iron directly from transferrin, but the washed whole cells expressing IsdA did not. In the bioassay, the growth of S. aureus on transferrin-bound iron was stimulated by the siderophores alone. These results demonstrate that the siderophore-mediated iron-acquisition system plays a dominant and essential role in the uptake of iron from transferrin, whereas the IsdA-mediated iron-acquisition system may play only an ancillary role in the uptake of iron from transferrin.

실시간 자동 검사를 위한 라인 스캔 컴퓨터 비전 시스템의 연구 (Constructing a Automatic Real-time Line-Scan Inspection System)

  • The purpose of this research is to construct real-time image acquisition system for a line-scan inspection system as a computer vision system. To construct the line-scan inspection system, many problem arise. However, problems of image acquisitions using linear CCD are practically studied in this paper. These problems are concerned to proper lighting systems, relations with handling system, camera systems, and impacts due to the noise of environment. These problems are examined separately, and proper configurations for each case are suggested to construct the line-scan image acquisition system.

  • This study includes noise automatic inspection system for washing machine auto-transmission one of modern home necessary. We effort to find and certificate sound noisesource by sound power and sound intensity, and apply to frequency analysis in vibration related sound noise. Still more we have been studying to data acquisition and programming for MS VisualBasic version 5.0. System component is below. 1) Pentium PC for data acquisition. 2) DSO for noise acquisition. 3) S/W for comparison and decision. 4) I/F Board for data communication. Wave form data through the DSO are converting to ASCII code data. The ASCII code through binary converting S/W are to be decision fitness or the badness comparison S/W. Finally, we will making noise monitoring system and automatic inspection system.

  • DAS(Data Acquisition System) as a ground support equipment has played a critical role in proving the status of ready-to-fire of a rocket system before launch. But it is hard to implement and place a real-time measuring system in a control room at a long distance from the vehicle. In this paper DAS is introduced by being located at the LEC(Launch Equipment Container)[1], 50 meters away from the rocket and connected to remote monitoring system via fiber optics with TCP/IP protocol by means of client/server algorithm. Therefore real-time data acquisition and storage are guaranteed and a convenient and useful MMI (Man-Machine Interface) can be developed.

  • 본 연구는 도서관에서의 비도서자료의 활용과 비도서자료에 대한 사서들의 인식 및 의견을 조사하였다. 설문지를 사용하여 129개의 데이터를 한국사회과학정보자료기관협의회의 31개 회원도서관과 98명의 사서로부터 수집하여 분석하였다. 분석결과, 도서관에서의 비도서자료의 활용은 매우 중요하다는 것이 밝혀졌다. 따라서 비도서자료의 활용은 좀더 활성화하기 위한 서지통정을 제안하였다.

  • 원자력발전소의 운전현황감시 및 안전성확보를 위해 원전에 비상대응설비등을 설치 할려고 하는 상황에서 본 연구는 이런 원전설비 시스템의 입력단이 되는 DAS(Data acquisition System)를 설계, 제작하므로 원전설비에 대한 기술자립을 향상시켰다. 여기서 연구된 DAS는 현장신호를 격리 및 분리하고 analog와 digital 신호를 취득하며 Non Class-1E analog 80개, digital 신호 16개와 Class-1E analog 신호 2개, digital 신호 4개를 취급할수있도록 설계하였다. 여기서 설계된 DAS는 원전의 안전정보 system이나 기타 process의 monitoring system의 입력단으로 적용 가능한 시스템이다.
