차분격자볼츠만법에 의한 유동소음의 수치계산 (Numerical Simulation of Aerodynamic Sound by the Finite Difference Lattice Boltzmann Method)

  • In this research, a numerical simulation for the acoustic sounds around a two-dimensional circular cylinder in a uniform flaw was developed, using the finite difference lattice Boltzmann model. We examine the boundary condition, which is determined by the distribution function concerning density, velocity, and internal energy at the boundary node. Pressure variation, due to the emission of the acoustic waves, is very small, but we can detect this periodic variation in the region far from the cylinder. Daple-like emission of acoustic waves is seen, and these waves travel with the speed of sound, and are synchronized with the frequency of the lift on the cylinder, due to the Karman vortex street. It is also apparent that the size of the sound pressure is proportional to the central distance to the circular cylinder. The lattice BGK model for compressible fluids is shown to be a powerful tool for the simulation of gas flaws.

  • This paper is concerned with the prediction of lift-off acoustic loads for a launch vehicle. Intense acoustic load is generated when a launch vehicle is lifted off, and it can induce vibrations of a launch vehicle which cause damage or malfunction of a launch vehicle and a satellite. Lift-off acoustic loads of NARO are predicted by the modified Eldred's second method and the result is compared with the measured data in flight test. The prediction shows similar peak and shape of spectrum to the test data, but some discrepancy can be observed due to the predicted margin. In order to reduce such discrepancy, the sound pressure levels with four source distribution assumptions are calculated. Also, the surface diffraction effects are considered in the predict ion of lift-off acoustic loads, and the predicted result is more similar to the test data.

  • A 3-dimensional FDLB model with additional internal degree of freedom is applied for diatomic gases such as air, in which an additional distribution function is introduced. Direct simulations of aero-acoustic by using the applied model and scheme are presented. Speed of sound is correctly recovered. As typical examples, the Aeolian tone emitted by a circular column is successfully simulated even very low Mach number flow. Acoustic pressure fluctuations with the same frequency of the Karman vortex street compared with the pressure fluctuation around a circular column is captured. Full three-dimensional acoustic wave past a compact block like pentagon, furthermore, is also emitted in y direction as dipole like sound.

  • 수정된 NASA SP-8072 분포 음원 방법 (Method 2)를 이용하여 KSLV-I의 발사 음향 하중을 예측하고, 이 결과를 비행 시험시의 측정 결과와 비교하였다. 2차 비행 시험시에 케이블 마스트의 4개소에서 발사 음향 하중을 측정하였고, 인터스테이지의 텔레메트리 데이터도 입수하여 비교하였다. 예측된 음향 하중 스펙트럼은 측정 스펙트럼과 유사한 피크 주파수 및 형태를 가지며 약 7dB의 안전 여유를 가지고 예측됨을 알 수 있었다.

시로코 팬의 3차원 유동해석 및 소음원에 관한 연구 (A Study on Three-Dimensional Flow Analysis and Noise Source of Sirocco Fan)

  • 본 논문에서는 환기를 위한 시로코 팬의 내부에서 유동 및 소음을 해석하기 위해 상용프로그램으로 해석하였다. 소음원의 위치와 크기만을 확인하기 위해 유동해석은 정상 상태 유동 해석을 진행하였다. 유동 해석을 통해 시로코 팬의 내부에서 발생하는 유동의 속도와 속도 벡터로 유동의 흐름을 보았다. 내부의 압력 분포는 contour로 결과를 보았다. 정상 상태 유동 해석 결과에서 Curle surface acoustic power와 Proudman acoustic power를 활용하여 해석결과로부터 소음원의 위치와 크기를 볼 수 있다. Curle surface acoustic power으로 표면에서 발생하는 소음을 볼 수 있다. Proudman acoustic power으로 유동영역에서 발생하는 소음을 볼 수 있다. 정상 상태에서 시로코 팬의 내부에서 발생하는 소음원의 위치와 크기만 볼 수 있기 때문에 발생하는 소음의 주파수를 확인하기 위해서는 추가적으로 비정상 상태 해석을 진행할 필요가 있다. 본 연구를 통해 시로코 팬의 성능을 향상시키고 소음을 저감하기 위한 연구의 기초 자료가 될 것으로 기대된다.

  • 로켓엔진 연소기의 음향 안정성 향상을 위해 고안된 반파장 공명기의 음향학적 설계를 실험적으로 연구하였다. 표준 음향시험 절차에 따라 음향파 응답 신호가 측정되었다. 신호를 토대로, 감쇠인자와 흡음계수가 정량적으로 평가되었고, 이로부터 공명기의 음향감쇠 성능을 파악하였다. 공명기의 직경과 개수, 분포가 공명기의 설계 인자로 채택되었다. 직경이 증가함에 따라 음향감쇠 효과가 증가하였다. 경계흡수 계수가 감소함에 따라 최적 공명기 개수가 감소함을 알았다. 공명기의 open-area 비가 최적값을 초과할 때 과감쇠가 발생하였고, 이로 인해 음향 감쇠 효과가 저하됨을 관찰하였다.

주기적인 음원에 의한 원형 실린더의 음향 산란 (Acoustic Scattering from Circular Cylinder by Periodic Sources)

  • Scattering fields of two dimensional acoustic waves by a circular cylinder are investigated. The present numerical approach for the acoustic scattering problem has difficulties of numerical robustness, long-time stability and suitability of far-field boundary treatments. The time-dependent periodic acoustic source is used to analyze Interference patterns between incident waves and waves reflected by the cylinder. Characteristic boundary algorithms coupled with 4th order Modified-Flux-Approach ENO(essentially non-oscillatory) schemes are employed in generalized coordinates to examine the effect of the wane frequency on the interference patterns. Non-reflecting boundary conditions, which is crustal for accurate computations of aeroacoustic problems, are used not to contaminate scattering fields by reflected waves at the outer boundary. Computed scattering fields show the circumferential acoustic modes generated by interacting between acoustic sources and scattered waves. At a lower frequency, the wave passes almost straight through the cylinder without Interacting with circular cylinder. Simulation results are presented and compared with the analytic solution. Computed RMS-pressure distribution on the cylinder wall is good agreement with exact solution.

음장의 공간 복소 포락: 정의와 특성 (Spatial Complex Envelope of Acoustic Field : Its Definition and Characteristics)

  • We can predict spatial acoustic pressure distribution on the plane of interest by using acoustic holography. However, the information embedded in the distribution plot is usually much more than what we need: for example, source locations and their overall propagation pattern. One possible candidate to solve the problem is complex envelope analysis. Complex envelope analysis extracts slowly-varying envelope signal from a band signal. We have attempted to extend this method to space domain so that we can have spatial information that we need. We have to modulate two dimensional data for obtaining spatial envelope. Although spatial modulation basically follows the same concept that is used in time domain, the algorithm for the spatial modulation turns out to be different from temporal modulation. We briefly describe temporal complex envelope analysis and extend it to spatial envelope of 2-D acoustic field by introducing geometric transformation. In the end, the results of applying the spatial envelope to the holography are envisaged and verified.

매설형 하이드로폰 시스템의 구조-음향 연성 해석 (Structural-Acoustic Coupled Analysis of Buried Hydrophone System)

  • A study was carried out to investigate the fluid-structure interaction phenomena of buried hydrophone system that exposed complex loads due to handling, transportation and installation. The buried hydrophone system has necessarily neighborhood structures for installation. Because of the neighborhood structure, acoustic field is deformed. We analyze the piezoelectric-structural-acoustic coupled problem and the results to use a finite element analysis software, ANSYS, which has an coupled field analysis capability. The effect of the component of hydrophone system is revealed altogether in pressure distribution. So, we classify and analyze the problem by four different compositions for decomposition.
