2차원 원주로부터 발생하는 Aeolian tone의 수치계산 (Numerical Simulation of the Aeolian Tone Generated from Two-dimensional Circular Cylinder)

  • Acoustic sounds generated by a uniform flow around a two-dimensional circular cylinder at Re=200 are simulated using finite difference lattice Boltzmann method. A third-order-accurate up-wind scheme is used for spartial derivatives, and a second-order-accurate Runge-Kutta scheme is used for time marching. The results show that in capturing very small acoustic pressure fluctuation with same frequency of Karman vortex street compared with the pressure fluctuation around a circular cylinder. The propagation velocity of acoustic sound is presented that acoustic which approaches tire upstream due to Doppler effect in the uniform flow slowly propagates, while that for the downstream quickly propagates. It is also apparent that the size of sound pressure is proportional for central distance $r^{-1/2}$ of the cylinder.

  • 본 논문은 수중 센서 네트워크에서 효율적인 하향링크 멀티캐스트 데이터 전송기법을 제시하였다. 기존에 센서 네트워크에서 많은 멀티캐스트 전송 기법이 제안되었지만, 배터리를 지속적으로 공급받거나 충전시키기 어려운 환경에 있는 수중 센서 네트워크에 특화된 멀티캐스트 기법은 없었다. 본 논문에서는 이를 위하여 수중 센서 네트워크에서의 멀티캐스트 두 가지 특성을 파악하여 이를 알고리즘에 적용하였다. 싱크 노드에서 목적지 노드들의 위치 정보를 가공하여서 각도 정보를 추출하였고, 이렇게 추출한 목적지 노드들의 각도 정보를 바탕으로 가상의 유클리디언 스테이너 포인트를 이용한 최적의 멀티캐스트 전송 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 본 알고리즘은 저 계산 능력과 제한된 전송파워를 가지는 수중 센서 네트워크에서 구동하기에 알맞음을 시뮬레이션을 통하여 확인하였다. 제안한 방식은 기존의 방식들에 비하여 감소된 전송 전력과 감소된 라우팅 계산량을 보였다.

Optimization for the direction of arrival estimation based on single acoustic pressure gradient vector sensor

  • The optimization techniques are explored in the direction of arrival (DOA) estimation based on single acoustic pressure gradient vector sensor (APGVS). By analyzing the working principle and measurement errors of the APGVS, acoustic intensity approaches (AI) and the minimum variance distortionless response beamforming approach based on single APGVS (VMVDR) are deduced. The radius to wavelength ratio of the APGVS must be not bigger than 0.1 in the actual application, otherwise its DOA estimation performance will degrade significantly. To improve the robustness and estimation performance of the DOA estimation approaches based on single APGVS, two modified processing approaches based on single APGVS are presented. Simulation and lake trial results indicate that the performance of the modified approaches based on single APGVS are better than AI and VMVDR approaches based on single APGVS when the radius to wavelength ratio is not bigger than 0.1, and the two modified DOA estimation methods have excellent estimation performance when the radius to wavelength ratio is bigger than 0.1.

  • 다수의 초음파 트랜스듀서를 이용한 초음파 위상 배열은 초점제어에 의해 인체 내 종양을 치료하는 목적 등으로 사용되고 있다. 초점제어에 의해 결정된 각 초음파 트랜스듀서 표면음압의 크기와 위상은 각 초음파 트랜스듀서에 인가되는 전압의 크기와 위상을 제어하여 구현 가능하다. 본 논문에서는 초음파 트랜스듀서의 인가전압과 표면음압 사이의 관계를 모델링하고, 요구되는 초음파 트랜스듀서의 표면음압을 생성하기 위한 인가전압을 PWM 기법으로 제어하는 방법을 제안한다. 제안한 방법의 타당성은 61개의 초음파 트랜스듀서로 구성된 초음파 위상배열의 초점제어를 예로 들어 시뮬레이션으로 검증하였다.

  • This paper focuses on the development of speech enhancement techniques for hands-free audio terminals, including two major problems : noise cancellation and acoustic echo cancellation. The objective is to find a joint structure to get a near-end speech signal with minimum distortion and low levels of echo and noise. To solve the two problems, a new promising technique is studied and tested in computer simulation conditions.

  • Bearing information of target is used critically for target tracking in underwater environment. In passive sonar, target bearing measurements are obtained by processing the acoustic signal emanating from the target. PDA tracking algorithm is usually applied in this case since bearing measurements have several peaks due to interference with other acoustic sources or reflections from underwater media. In this paper, we propose a modified PDA algorithm adopting new probabilistic distributions of the number, position, and amplitude of peaks based on the analysis of real data. This algorithm is tested on real and artificially generated data. The computer simulation result shows improvement of the tracking performance.

  • In this brief, Acoustic echo cancellation scheme is proposed to enhance the presence of multiple participants of hands-free voice and video conference. Synthetic stereo using head related transfer function and the stereo echo cancellation scheme are proposed. It is shown that the proposed synthetic stereo echo cancellation scheme is well performed by computer simulation.

  • In the underwater veicle self-noise from the propeller reduces the sensor sensitivity. To increase the sensor sensitivity SNORE ring(Self-noise reduction ring) has been used. In this paper to calculate the effectiveness of the SNORE ring and de-coupeler numerical simulation is conducted. Based on the simulation results CRP(Carbon reinforced plastic)and SNORE ring reduced noise and vibration.

  • A high-order accurate Euler flow solver based on a discontinuous Galerkin method has been developed for the numerical simulation of unsteady flows on unstructured meshes. A multi-level solution-adaptive mesh refinement/coarsening technique was adopted to enhance the resolution of numerical solutions efficiently by increasing mesh density in the high-gradient region. An acoustic wave scattering problem was investigated to assess the accuracy of the present discontinuous Galerkin solver, and a supersonic flow in a wind tunnel with a forward facing step was simulated by using the adaptive mesh refinement technique. It was shown that the present discontinuous Galerkin flow solver can capture unsteady flows including the propagation and scattering of the acoustic waves as well as the strong shock waves.

승용차 차실모델의 진동 및 소음특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the vibration and noise characteristics of vehicle compartment model)

  • It is desirable to predict the noise and vibration problems of a passenger car in its design stage for a better ride quality. Dominant frequencies of the noise inside a car range from about 50 Hz to 300 Hz and these are frequently caused by the coupling of the acoustic normal modes of the compartment cavity and structural modes of the body. In this paper, car interior noise problem is investigated in view of vibration-acoustic modes coupling and numerical simulation is performed on the interior noise. In the simulation, experimental modal data of the vehicle structure are utilized to improve the accuracy of the analysis. The results are in good agreement with those of experiment on a half scaled vehicle compartment model. Especially, strongly coupled modes can be predicted, which give useful informations to solve noise problems of real car at design stage.
