  • Accounts receivable insurance is a system in which small and medium-sized enterprises insure the accounts receivables acquired by the purchasing company, and the insurance company pays when the purchaser fails to pay the debts. Accounts receivable insurance is a very effective means of eliminating the risk of loss due to the counterparty default, and it is economically effective to protect the domestic industry by preventing the bankruptcy of one company leading to a chain bankruptcy of other companies. In this study, we constructed a business model of the accounts receivable insurance, by building an infrastructure based on a private blockchain in activating the accounts receivable insurance accounts. The accounts receivable insurance platform using these blockchain technologies not only addressed the problem of document and reliability verification for insurance, but also sought ways to facilitate accounts receivable insurance by small businesses through rapid transaction rates, easy network expansion and access management based on private blockchain.

The Financial Supply Chain compromise the entire trade processes and information that manage a trader's cash, Accounts payable and receivable, Risk, working capital, and so on in international trade transaction. From a buyer's perspective, this involves the full procurement-to-payment process. For the seller, it is the order-to-cash cycle. Bolero provides the party concerned a e-trade platform which conformed to these fundamental pre-requisites to underpin fully electronic trade. But this FSCM solution have failed to provide the efficient platform to effectively manage the process of Global e-Trade because it does not correspond with e-Trade environment. Therefore, present FSCM system need the institutional improvement as follows: AA) Strengthening the role of the correspondent Bank under e-Trade System, BB) Extending the function of e-Trade intermediary institution, CC) The introduction of Trade Insurance System, etc. So, by streamlining and automating these processes on an open and flexible platform, The party concerned can optimize their trade transaction and maintain better relations with their business partners

  • Forfaiting is a trade finance facility whereby financial institution purchases accounts receivable from exporters, on a without recourse basis. After the adoption of K-IFRS in 2011, accounting for simple borrowing as usual negotiation increases debt ratio which in turn, worsens financial soundness of a company. Hence, exporting companies have their interest in forfaiting that enables book-off in order to decrease the borrowing. Along with the execution of URF 800 at ICC and increasing the interest of exporting companies into forfaiting, foreign exchange banks in Korea expand the development of products related to forfaiting. Upon surveying all these national banks of this matter, this paper identified an appropriate solution for the forfaiting practice.
