건설재해예방기술지도 결과자료 분석을 통한 중$\cdot$소 건설 현장의 잠재사고 유발 요인 개선 방안 연구 (A Study on the Indwelled Accident Factors in Small & Medium-Sized Construction Sites Utilizing Safety Consulting Data)

  • Accident of small and medium-sized construction sites happens much than large-sized construction sites. The safety consulting for accident prevention of construction sites has been launched in 1995. This research probed latency accident of small and medium-sized construction sites. By method, we used that result data of safety consulting for accident prevention of small and medium-sized construction sites. As a result a fall was examined by the most latency accident factor. In this study, a fall and electric shock, descent, fall down in ground, a fire was examined weighty accident factor of small and medium-sized construction sites.

건설업에서 재해율과 업무상 사고 사망의 예측 및 평가 (Forecasting and Evaluation of the Accident Rate and Fatal Accident in the Construction Industries)

  • Many industrial accidents have occurred continuously in the manufacturing industries, construction industries, and service industries of Korea. Fatal accidents have occurred most frequently in the construction industries of Korea. Especially, the trend analysis of the accident rate and fatal accident rate is very important in order to prevent industrial accidents in the construction industries systematically. This paper considers forecasting of the accident rate and fatal accident rate with static and dynamic time series analysis methods in the construction industries. Therefore, this paper describes the optimal accident rate and fatal accident rate by minimization of the sum of square errors (SSE) among regression analysis method (RAM), exponential smoothing method (ESM), double exponential smoothing method (DESM), auto-regressive integrated moving average (ARIMA) model, proposed analytic function model (PAFM), and kalman filtering model (KFM) with existing accident data in construction industries. In this paper, microsoft foundation class (MFC) soft of Visual Studio 2008 was used to predict the accident rate and fatal accident rate. Zero Accident Program developed in this paper is defined as the predicted accident rate and fatal accident rate, the zero accident target time, and the zero accident time based on the achievement probability calculated rationally and practically. The minimum value for minimizing SSE in the construction industries was found in 0.1666 and 1.4579 in the accident rate and fatal accident rate, respectively. Accordingly, RAM and ARIMA model are ideally applied in the accident rate and fatal accident rate, respectively. Finally, the trend analysis of this paper provides decisive information in order to prevent industrial accidents in construction industries very systematically.

  • This paper addresses a GIS (Geographic Information System) based system in order to reduce the rate of public transportation accidents occurring in Iranian roads network. Over the years, the road accidents are a major issue throughout the world. Today, particular consideration is given to those technologies which can lead to diminish on the number of critical incidents. One of the main factors resulting in accidents and fatalities rates growth is the speed violation of buses in Iranian road network. The conventional speed controlling approach in Iran based on the Tachograph which records vehicle's speed, time, and stoppage in the mechanical processing has many problems. Hence, this research is intended to design and implement a GIS-based system to manage road accident of Bus transportation system using offline tracking system. This was accomplished using a GIS-based technique that encompasses three steps. The first step is developing a GIS-based accident system. The second step includes designing and applying a tracking system inside 90 buses for recording Bus information for speed controlling. Lastly, by using mentioned system in police center, the illegal drivers' punishment would be considered properly. Overall, this system has been successfully applied in this work. Therefore, the police and transportation office are able to control and make policy to diminish the number of accident. It is anticipated that online tracking system through the Web GIS would be utilized In this system in the near future.

재해분석을 위한 텍스트마이닝과 SOM 기반 위험요인지도 개발 (On the Development of Risk Factor Map for Accident Analysis using Textmining and Self-Organizing Map(SOM) Algorithms)

  • Report documents of industrial and occupational accidents have continuously been accumulated in private and public institutes. Amongst others, information on narrative-texts of accidents such as accident processes and risk factors contained in disaster report documents is gaining the useful value for accident analysis. Despite this increasingly potential value of analysis of text information, scientific and algorithmic text analytics for safety management has not been carried out yet. Thus, this study aims to develop data processing and visualization techniques that provide a systematic and structural view of text information contained in a disaster report document so that safety managers can effectively analyze accident risk factors. To this end, the risk factor map using text mining and self-organizing map is developed. Text mining is firstly used to extract risk keywords from disaster report documents and then, the Self-Organizing Map (SOM) algorithm is conducted to visualize the risk factor map based on the similarity of disaster report documents. As a result, it is expected that fruitful text information buried in a myriad of disaster report documents is analyzed, providing risk factors to safety managers.

  • In Korean cases, the occupation of building construction is below 10% of the total industry workers but from a accident rate point of view, it is a risk serious industry and it's hazard is very considerable which accident rate is up to 30% of the total industry workers. The reason of high accident rate of the building construction is its own characteristic, hazard of the work in which is implicated and the shortage of safety counter plan and information, so it is most required to the building construction that educating, training, short and long period approaching to prevent the hazard. The safety information of building construction which is related to safety accident is divided into human and material such as hazard, work situation, cause and counter plan. The existing hazard cases imply all of the information about the work type and work progress of the building construction, so if the research of the every fact is well accomplished, we can obtain the useful information and prevent the hazard of building construction. From this point of view, the emphasis of this study is based on analyzing the cause of hazard first, suggesting the safety information each part of work type and work progress second, and finally making the all existing hazard cases to the Data Base and developing the safety information system.

  • 자전거는 측면 충돌 사고 시 대형사고로 이어지고 있으며 위험상황 시 적극적인 대처가 어렵기 때문에 사고를 사전에 예방하는 것이 매우 중요하다. 본 연구는 자전거 안전운전 지원기술의 일환으로 전국의 자전거 사고 데이터와 수치지도(Digital Map)의 도로속성 정보를 기반으로 자전거 사고 위험존을 설정하고 이를 활용하여 자전거 이용자에게 시의적절한 안전정보를 제공할 수 있도록 하는 방안을 연구하였다. 실제 사고 데이터를 이용해 선정한 지점을 '위험존'이라 하였고, 이러한 위험존을 바탕으로 모델화 하여 생성한 잠재적 사고발생 예상지점을 '논리위험존'이라 하였다. 본 연구에서 도출된 자전거 사고 논리 위험존 설정 연구 결과는 전국의 자전거 사고지점의 지점별 특수성을 네트워크 데이터를 통해 논리위험존 형태로 일반화 하였다는데 의미가 있다.

주차장 환경에서의 차량 사고 검출 (Detection of Car Accidents in Parking Lots)

  • 본 논문에서는 주차장 환경에서의 차량 사고 감지방법을 제안한다. 제안하는 방법은 차량 검출, 차량 추적, 사고 감지의 3단계로 구성된다. 차량 검출 단계에서는 픽셀 기반의 전경 검출 방법과 모션맵을 이용하여 차량을 검출하고, 차량 추적 단계에서는 검출된 차량 정보를 바탕으로 차량의 이동을 추적한다. 마지막 단계인 차량 사고 감지 단계에서는 차량의 이동 방향에 맞추어 사고 감지 영역을 지정하고 사고 감지 영역에서 발생하는 움직임의 변화량을 분석하여 차량 사고를 감지한다. 실험을 통해 제안하는 방법은 주차장 환경에서 발생하는 차량 사고를 효과적으로 검출함을 보였다.

PDA기반 교통사고 조사 장치의 적용성 평가 (Evaluation of Feasibility of PDA-based Traffic Accident Investigation Device)

  • 최근 IT 첨단기술의 발전과 더불어 국민들의 정보화 수준이 지속적으로 향상되고 있는 가운데 교통 분야에 IT기술의 최신분야인 유비쿼터스 기술 및 모바일 기술 등 첨단기술을 접목하려는 시도가 늘어나고 있는 추세이다. 이러한 경향에 발맞춰 교통사고 조사를 신속하고 효율적으로 실시할 수 있는 PDA 조사 장치가 개발되었다. 본 논문에서는 교통사고 조사를 위해 개발된 PDA에 대해 평가방법론을 설정하고, 정성적 및 정량적 평가를 실시하였다. 평가 결과, PDA를 활용한 교통사고 조사는 수기조사에 비해 자료의 정확성 및 편리성, 그리고 조사시간 측면에서 비교 우위에 있는 것으로 평가되었다. 그리고 사고데이터를 입력하는 형식에 관한 일부 개선이 필요한 면도 파악되었다. 향후 이러한 문제점을 개선한다면 사고조사 분야에 큰 기여를 할 것으로 판단된다.

자동차보험 과실기준 기반 자동차사고유형 체계화에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Classification of the Car Accidents Types based on the Negligence Standards of Auto Insurance)

  • According to the Korean Traffic Accident Analysis System (TAAS), more than 200,000 traffic accidents occur every year. Also, the statistics including auto insurance companies data show 1.3 million traffic accidents. In the case of TAAS, the types of traffic accidents are simply divided into four; frontal collision, side collision, rear collision, and rollover. However, more detailed information is needed to assess for advanced driver assist systems at intersections. For example, directional information is needed, such as whether the vehicle in the car accident way in a straight or a left turn, etc. This study intends to redefine the type of accident with the more clear driving direction and path by referring to the Negligence standards used in automobile insurance accidents. The standards largely divide five categories of car-to-car/motorcycle /pedestrian/cyclist, and highway, and the each category is classified into dozens of types by status of the traffic signal, conflict situations. In order to present more various accident types for auto insurance accidents, the standards are reclassified driving direction and path of vehicles from crash situations. In results, the car-to-car accidents are classified into 33 accident types, car-to-pedestrian accidents have 19 accident types, car-to-motorcycle accidents have 38 accident types, and car-to-cyclist accidents are derived into 26 types.

차량크레인 전도 사고의 구조 안정성 평가에 관한 법공학적 연구 (Forensic Engineering Study on the Evaluation of the Structural Stability of the Mobile Crane Accident)

  • Forensic Engineering is the area covering the investigation of products, structures that fail to perform or do not function as intended, causing personal injury or damage to property. To investigate the mobile crane's overturn accident in terms of the forensic engineering, in this study, we identified the accident mobile crane's position and posture before accident by the analysis of the trace resulted by the contact between the outrigger and the ground, and the accident remodeling has been performed using CATIA modeling program in the basis of the accident mobile crane's position and posture information. The accident analysis has been performed by comparing this accident remodeling and the crane's specification, the table of the allowance load about the boom's length and the working radius. Through these studies, the safety accident that may occur in mobile crane can be minimized by performing specialized and systematic investigation of the accident cause in terms of the forensic engineering.
