특성화고등학교 현장실습 사고와 건강문제 예방을 위한 교육자료 개발 및 적용 (Development of Educational Materials for Prevention of Accidents in Vocational High Schools)

  • Purpose: The purpose of the study was to develop educational materials on field practice safety based on existing field practice data and accident cases regarding vocational high schools and apply them to identify their impact. Methods: The existing data, accumulated since 2010, on field practices of vocational high schools were analyzed, and educational materials regarding field practices were developed by six experts. 195 students in three vocational high schools were surveyed before and after being taught with the materials. The survey asked about their knowledge of industrial safety and health and attitudes toward industrial safety and health. Results: As a result of the study, harmful environments for field practices of vocational high schools were physical, chemical, ergonomic, and emotional labor, and the consequences were accidents, death by overwork, musculoskeletal diseases, etc. The materials covered students' rights and how to respond to workplace accidents in the 1st round, how to organize a workshop in the 2nd round, workplace safety and health signs in the 3rd round, prevention of musculoskeletal diseases in the 4th round, management of physical risk factors in 5th round, management of hazardous chemicals in 6th round, wearing and managing protective equipment in 7th round, first aid depending on the situation in the 8th round, CPR and defibrillator in the 9th round, sexual harassment in the 10th round, and prevention of sexual violence in the 11th round. After completing the education, their knowledge of industrial safety and health increased significantly from 6.52 points to 7.01 points. Conclusion: The results of this study suggest: first, to statistically organize the data on accidents that have occurred during field practices of vocational high schools; second, to develop a systematic curriculum for high school 1st to 3rd graders on accidents that may happen during field practices of vocational high schools.

  • 건설 분야의 산업재해가 차지하는 비율은 전체 산업의 29%로 고위험군산업에 해당한다. 또한 다양한 공정이 존재하며, 소수의 관리자가 다수의 근로자를 관리하고 감독하는 특성상 위험도 관리가 필수적이다. 따라서 공사의 종류 및 공법에 따라 체계적이고 과학적인 위험도분석 방안을 마련해야 하며, 작업현장의 위험도를 점진적으로 완화하고 개선해야한다. 본 연구에서는 도로 교량공사 공종별 안전사고 발생확률 자료 및 전문가 데이터를 기초로 하고 확률론적 접근 방법인 몬테카를로 시뮬레이션을 활용하여 신뢰도 있는 위험지수를 산정할 수 있는 방안을 제시하고 평가하였다. 리스크 식별은 도로 교량공사를 토공사, 배수공사, 교량공사로 구분하여 전문가 데이터를 바탕으로 발생가능한 안전사고를 분류하였다. 도로 교량공사의 토공사, 배수공사, 교량공사의 세부공종별로 위험지수를 도출하였다.

  • 과거 안전시설 설치 기준 및 도로안전지수 등에 관한 다양한 연구가 수행되어왔다. 하지만 연구결과를 사용하기에 많은 조사항목과 사용하기 어려운 변수를 사용하는 등 현장에 적용하기에는 한계가 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 연구결과의 적용 가능성을 고려한 도로안전 판단지표를 개발하고 안전시설의 설치 기준을 마련하고자 하였다. 유관시스템의 데이터 항목을 검토하였으며 이미 활용 중인 변수의 사용을 고려하였다. 상관분석과 요인분석을 통해 교통요인, 도로요인, 사고요인을 반영한 도로안전 판단지표를 개발하였으며, 군집분석을 통해 안전시설의 설치판단 기준 점수를 도출하였다. 분석결과 단일로에 비해 교차로에서 설치판단 기준 점수가 더 낮게 분석되었으며 교차로의 도로 위험도가 더 큰 것으로 분석되었다.

설문조사를 통한 스마트 건설안전기술의 실태분석 및 활성화 방안에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Actual Condition Analysis and Activation Plan of Smart Construction Safety Technology by the Survey)

  • The death rate in the construction industry, which is more than twice that of other industries, increases the need to solve chronic safety problems. In a situation in which the safety management measures that have been maintained thus far are unable to reduce construction accidents, the introduction of smart construction safety technology (SCST) that reflects the 4th industrial technology is required for the safety management of workers. Large corporations or public institutions have introduced SCST and are operating pilot sites, but SCST is still in its infancy and there have yet to exist field data regarding necessity and effectiveness. In this study, the concept of SCST, which has still to be established, is defined, and the actual condition of SCST was analyzed through a survey. Through the analysis of the necessity of SCST introduction, convenience, and effectiveness before and after its application, problems such as problems from the field point of view as well as other factors hindering the introduction of such technology are derived in detail. In addition, an effective combination of technologies for safety management at the current level is determined and an activation plan is presented.

Theoretical simulation on evolution of suspended sodium combustion aerosols characteristics in a closed chamber

  • In the unlikely event of core disruptive accident in sodium cooled fast reactors, the reactor containment building would be bottled up with sodium and fission product aerosols. The behavior of these aerosols is crucial to estimate the in-containment source term as a part of nuclear reactor safety analysis. In this work, the evolution of sodium aerosol characteristics (mass concentration and size) is simulated using HAARM-S code. The code is based on the method of moments to solve the integro-differential equation. The code is updated to FORTRAN-77 and run in Microsoft FORTRAN PowerStation 4.0 (on Desktop). The sodium aerosol characteristics simulated by HAARM-S code are compared with the measured values at Aerosol Test Facility. The maximum deviation between measured and simulated mass concentrations is 30% at initial period (up to 60 min) and around 50% in the later period. In addition, the influence of humidity on aerosol size growth for two different aerosol mass concentrations is studied. The measured and simulated growth factors of aerosol size (ratio of saturated size to initial size) are found to be matched at reasonable extent. Since sodium is highly reactive with atmospheric constituents, the aerosol growth factor depends on the hygroscopic growth, chemical transformation and density variations besides coagulation. Further, there is a scope for the improvement of the code to estimate the aerosol dynamics in confined environment.

Influences of Neck and/or Wrist Pain on Hand Grip Strength of Industrial Quality Proofing Workers

  • Background: The aim of this study was to analyze the interaction between neck and/or wrist pain and hand grip strength (HGS) and to investigate factors (age, sex, neck disorders, and carpal tunnel syndrome) influencing the HGS of industrial quality proofing workers (N = 145). Methods: Standardized questionnaires [Neck Disability Index (NDI), Boston Carpal Tunnel Questionnaire] were used to evaluate existing neck and/or wrist pain. HGS measurements were performed in different wrist positions. Results: Significant differences between participants with and without neck pain were found in different wrist positions, in neutral wrist position right [without neck pain (n = 48) 46.34 (43.39 - 49.30); with neck pain (n = 97) 38.46 (36.20 - 40.72), F(1,144) = 16.82, p < 0.001, ŋp2 = 0.11] and left [without neck pain 44.06 (41.19 - 46.94); with neck pain 37.36 (35.13 - 39.58), F(1,144) = 12.70, p < 0.001, ŋp2 = 0.08]. A significant difference between participants with and without wrist pain was found for neutral wrist position right [without wrist pain (n = 105) 42.53 (40.37 - 44.70); with wrist pain (n = 40) 37.24 (33.56 - 40.91), F(1,144) = 6.41, p = 0.01, ŋp2 = 0.04]. Regression analysis showed significant results especially for steps two (age and weight, NDI) and three (age and weight, NDI, Boston Carpal Tunnel Questionnaire) for neutral position right (R2 = 0.355, R2 = 0.357, respectively). Conclusion: Neck pain has an impact on HGS but should be evaluated in consideration of age and sex.

빅데이터를 활용한 AI 기반 우선점검 대상현장 선정 모델 (AI-based Construction Site Prioritization for Safety Inspection Using Big Data)

  • 지속적인 안전관리에도 불구하고 매년 건설업 근로자 사망율은 줄어들지 않는 추세다. 이에 따라 건설현장 사고를 예방하기 위한 다양한 연구가 진행 중이다. 본 논문에서는 건설공사 비용 50억원 미만의 건설현장 중 건설사고가 발생할 것으로 예상되는 현장을 우선적으로 선별하는 AI기반 우선점검대상 선정 모델을 개발하였다. 특히, 적용한 AI 알고리즘 중 분류분석에서 가장 뛰어난 성능(사고발생예측 AUC-ROC 90.48 %)을 보인 랜덤 포레스트를 모델 개발에 활용하였으며, 건설사고를 유발하는 주요한 요인으로는 공사비, 총공사일수, 공사실적평가액이 확인되었다. 본 연구를 통해 점검인력 효율화와 건설사고에 대한 선제적 대응의 결과로 8년간 약 917.7 % ROI(투자수익률)를 기대할 수 있다.

셀프리더십과 고객지향성의 관계에서 자기효능감의 매개효과: 항공사 객실승무원 중심으로 (A Study on the Mediating Effect of Self-Efficacy in the Relationship between Self-leadership and Customer Orientation: Focusing on Airline Cabin Crew)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of self-leadership on self-efficacy and customer orientation and to verify whether there is a mediating effect of self-efficy on the relationship between self-leadership and customer orientation. Methods: To verify these research problems, the subjects of this study were a total of 300 Korean cabin crew members working for domestic and foreign airlines who received distributed questionnaires and 247 copies wee analysed using the SPSS 20.0 program. Results: First, it can be seen that the self-leadership of airline cabin crew has a significant positive (+) effect on self-efficacy, indicating that self-leadership has a positive effect on the self-efficacy of the members of the organization. Second, it was found that self-efficacy had a positive (+) effect on the customer orientation of airline cabin crew, and it was analyzed that self-efficacy played a partial mediating role in the relationship between self-leadership and customer orientation. Third, it was found that self-leadership had a positive (+) effect on customer orientation, and it was proved that behavior-oriented strategy, constructive accident pattern, and natural compensation strategy, which are three sub-factors of self-leadership of cabin crew, have an influence on customer orientation. Conclusion: based on these findings, the theoretical and practical implications of this study and directions for future research were presented.

서울시 PM 대 보행자 교통사고 심각도에 대한 도시건조환경의 영향 (Influence of Urban Built Environment on Severity of PM-Pedestrian Accidents in Seoul)

  • 개인형 이동수단의 이용이 활성화됨에 따라, 관련한 PM 사고도 급격하게 증가하였다. 이러한 사고 증가에 대응하기 위해, 2021년 5월 13일 정부에서는 관련 규정을 강화하였지만, PM 가해사고의 증가 추이는 피해사고의 증가 추이보다 크게 감소하지 않았다. 이러한 PM 가해사고의 대부분은 보행자와의 충돌 사고로, 보행자들의 안전이 위협받고 있는 것을 알 수 있었다. 이에 본 연구에서는 PM 대 보행자 충돌사고를 중점적으로 규제 및 기상환경, 도시건조환경 특성 등을 반영하여, PM 대 보행자 교통사고 심각도에 영향을 미치는 요인들을 분석하였다. 2020년부터 2021년 간 서울시에서 발생한 PM 대 보행자 교통사고를 수집하였으며, 이항 로지스틱 회귀분석을 활용하여 분석을 수행하였다. 주요 분석결과를 통해 정책적 시사점을 도출하였다.

회전익 항공기의 외부 인양물에 대한 조종사 훈련 활성화 방안 연구 : EASA 및 FAA 사례를 중심으로 (A Research to Reinforce Training Helicopter Pilots on Flight with External Sling Loads : focusing on Cases from EASA and FAA)

  • 본 연구는 민간 회전익항공기 사고의 80% 이상이 조종과실이라는 사실과는 대조적으로, 모든 국내 회전익항공기 조종사들은 군에서 많은 경험을 가지고 민간 분야에서 종사한다는 점에서 어떤 특정한 환경적 요인이 있을 것이라는 명제를 바탕으로 연구를 시작하게 되었다. 우리는 지난 10년간 총 14건의 민간 회전익 항공기 사고가 있었다. 그중 9건 (64%)이 항공기 외부에 인양물을 매달은 채로 사고가 발생했다는 사실과 국내 외부인양물에 대한 구체적인 훈련 규정이 없다는 점을 반영하여, 우선 조종사 외부 인양물 훈련에 대한 국내외 훈련 및 자격 부여 과정을 비교 분석하였다. 그리고 조종사 훈련과 관련된 미국 연방항공청 (FAA) 파트 133 규정인 회전익 항공기(헬리콥터)를 이용한 외부화물 운송관련 법률과 국내 법률을 비교 분석하여 시사점을 도출하여 국내 상황을 적합한 외부인양물에 대한 조종사 훈련과 자격부여에 대한 대안을 제시하고자 하였다.
