A Study on the Certification System of the Unmanned Aircraft (무인항공기 인증제도에 관한 연구)

  • Nowadays, the demand of civil application of an UAV has been being increased all over the world. And many projects are going on to develop a new regulatory system for an UAV to access a national airspace. Especially, to fly UAV over the non-restricted airspace as a standard airworthiness standard, many authority funded research institutes and associations are studying regulatory environment. For the UAV to access civil airspace, the certification system of the aviation regulation have to allow this. FAA of US, CASA of Australia and European authorities are now issuing an experimental airworthiness certificate to a civil UAV. This is the first step of issuing a standard airworthiness certificate. And many people believe that civil UAV can fly over a NAS if some technical issues are resolved. In this study, I would like to present an international trends of a civil UAV regulation system, reliability trend of unmanned aerial system and would like to bring up a our regulatory environment and suggest an UAV regulatory policy.

  • This article introduces developing trends of an "Ubiquitous Interface" as an access method for use of various network resources, such as public wireless networks and un-licensed wireless networks in ubiquitous sensor network environments, without troublesome settings or operations by users. "Ubiquitous Interface" is include a relatively wide sense meaning not only physical interface of specified device or between processors, but anything method for access USN. These "Ubiquitous Interface" able to provide seamless services that adapt autonomously to the user's movements and changes in the state of wireless resources. Recently, strongly recommended candidates are RFID, NFC, Multi-mode mobile terminal, Wearable computer and OSGi for integrated digital home networking system as a future ubiquitous interface. These candidates are have to have flexibility and multiple physical communication channel for seamless service hand over and serve easy connection at huge USN to user. And, must have flexible software structure and multi-functional middleware. Consequently, for more enhance performance of an ubiquitous interface and developing, need more structured and integrated future plan.

  • As a result of rapid advances in communication technology, fiber optics have begun to be adopted in most telecommunication systems 3s an economic choice Due to the trend of evolution toward broadband communication network with fiber optics and electronic devices. the network design problem for broadband communication has been received a great deal of research attention recently. In this paper, we address a topological design problem for broadband local access network with uncertain demands, which has received surprisingly little attention so far. in our problem, we select a set of hubs and links for constructing network expected penalty cost for the amount of undersupplied In addition to the usual cost terms of the fixed demand problem Our problem can be approximated as a mixed 0-1 integer programming problem by using Szwarc’s linear approximation technique. Then the problem is transformed successfully into a version of classical network design model. Some computational experiments for the model and concluding remarks are described.

  • Through diversification of 4th industries and transportation and globalization, tourism was developed for medical purposes, not limited to touring tourist attractions. The trend of medical tourism in Korea is shifting from large and medium-sized hospitals to professional medical services in one area of small hospitals rather than professional medical services. However, small hospitals lack medical coordinators and interpretation services, and tourists who visit Korea for treatment lack information on small hospitals. Therefore, a platform is needed to match small hospitals with medical tourists. In this study, using Platform as a Service (Paas) in cloud computing, clinic administrators can access the app to introduce information about their hospitals with simple manipulations. Tourists also want to propose a customized platform to select the right area for them to check information about small-scale hospitals and choose the treatment and tourist attractions they wants.   • Nowadays, GIS, as multi-discipline information system, is closely linked with GPS application in conjunction with GIS-T or Logistics GIS. With this R&D trend. CPS/GIS application system for AVL is newly developed in this study. This AVL is designed and implemented by using pure Java computing technology towards com ing Car-equipped wireless Internet PC age, and main features of Java are included at this system: Platform independence, Multi-thread processing, and Object-oriented paradigm. While, because core modules of this AVL are based on GIS spatial engine, unlike other commercial AVLs, large spatial database problem handling digital image/spatial information and attribute information and direct access problem of GIS data is easily dealt with. this system can directly access external database by using JDBC: MS Access for desktop version and Oracle for W/S version. Finally, it is thought that Java-based AVL, one of CPS/CIS applications, can be easily extended into other prospective GIS applications: Land surveyor supporting system, Flight tracking system, 3D facility management system with CPS, and so forth.

  • Many servers that is operated in present earth are UNIX base, is trend that server of LINUX base is increasing steadily recently. When users who have account to this server wish to do remote access, instruction that use most easily is‘telnet’, security does not consist entirely about ID and password that this uses at communication substance as well as login. The interest about latest SSH is rising by the alternative, but SSH has various kinds problem in following telnet's fame. Therefore, We studied about problems and the solution that can happen when window users attempted remote access laying stress on OpenSSH.

  • Recently, mobile computing environments are becoming rapidly common. This trend emphasizes the necessity of accessing database systems on fixed networks from mobile platforms via wireless networks. However, it is not an appropriate way that applies the database access methods for traditional computing environments to mobile computing environments because of their essential restrictions. This paper suggests a new agent-based mobile database access model and also two functions calculating data significance scores to choose suitable data items for cache replacement and coherence policies. These functions synthetically reflect access term, access frequency and tendency, update frequency and tendency, and data item size distribution. As the result of simulation experiment, our policies outperform LRU, LIX, and SAIU policies in aspects of decrement of access latency, improvement of cache byte hit ratio, and decrease of cache byte pollution ratio.

  • According to the capacity of hard disk drive is increasing day by day, the amount of data that forensic investigators should analyze is also increasing. This trend need tremendous time and effort in determining which files are important as evidence on computers. Using the file system APIs provided by Windows system is the easy way to identify those files. This method, however, requires a large amount of time as the number of files increase and changes the access time of files. Moreover, some files cannot be accessed due to the use of operating system. To resolve these problems, forensic analysis should be conducted by using the Master File Table (MFT). In this paper, We implement the file access program which interprets the MFT information in NTFS file system. We also extensibly compare the program with the previous method. Experimental results show that the presented program reduces the file access time then others. As a result, The file access method using MFT information is forensically sound and also alleviates the investigation time.

Exploring the Revision Direction and Scope of the Korean Cataloging Rules for Religious Works (종교 저작에 대한 한국목록규칙의 개정 방향과 범위 탐색)

  • The revision of the Korean Cataloging Rules (KCR) is in progress in order to conform IFLA LRM conceptual model and to strengthen its internal stability. Religious works, along with musical works and legal works, have been treated as special and important in cataloging rules. This trend continues in the new cataloging rules that seek a bibliographic model that interconnects related materials. However since KCR2(1966), there are no rules for access points or specific rules on religious works. Under the circumstances, this study analyzed (1) the contents of religious works in the recently revised cataloging rules, (2) the access points and their functions for religious works implemented in online catalogs and authority system, and finally (3) the direction and scope of KCR revision. As a result of the study, this study suggested that it is necessary to prepare detailed rules for preferred title and authorized access points for various religious works in KCR. In conclusion, some issues for further discussion were summarized.

  • In Korea, we witness vivid evidences of changing trend in communication that insist the emergence of new networking architecture. To accommodate the changing trend and to hold current strong position in global IT industry, Korea have launched broadband convergence network (BcN) initiative. BcN vision for Korea is to be the first in the world to realize converged network infrastructure and ubiquitous service environment. In this paper, we have introduced the concept and the vision of BcN with a viewpoint of a new paradigm to prepare future-proof communication environment. And then, we have disclosed BcN research and development (R&D) activities including R&D philosophy, R&D phases, and key technologies required. Also, we have discussed current development issues in three technology branches including service and control technology, unified transport technology, and next-generation access technology.
