Analyzing the Effectiveness of Discussion Learning using the Technology Acceptance Model on Social Networking Service (기술수용모형을 이용한 소셜 네트워킹 기반 토의 학습의 효과 분석)

  • In this study, we suggested a strategy about a discussion class using Twitter, and experimented it inside an elementary school classroom. Elementary students participated in a panel discussion and the others discussed as audience using Twitter. After the discussion, we investigated the effectiveness of our strategy using the Technology Acceptance Model and verified students' satisfaction and ability to collaborate through giving them a questionnaire. As a result, the perceived ease of use positively effected the perceived usefulness and the perceived usefulness influenced the attitude and the attitude affect on intention to use. Also, students were satisfied with the discussion class on Twitter and had a positive perception about collaboration with it. As a result of regression, perception of collaboration among the students influenced the perceived usefulness positively. The results in this study show the effectiveness of using the discussion class strategy on Twitter.

  • As generation of Web 2.0 comes in, enormous information of corporation from various platform are being produced. However, corporations should understand features of each platform and appropriate strategies in order to attract the public in the midst of such flood of information. Numerous studies have been conducted regarding SNS which has grown rapidly in recent but a study relating a specific medium is relatively in short. So this study analyzed how information of Instagram bulletin board is accepted in perspective of consumer in Korean and America, We examined the relationship between intention of acceptance and Word Of Mouth effect through meditating effect of information usefulness. To answer the research question, we conducted online survey with Korean and USA college students. The result showed that usefulness of the information was shown to the major intermediary variable between the information characteristics of bulletin board and the intention of acceptance intention and Word Of Mouth(WOM).

  • According to the development of smart technologies such as smart phones, tablet PC, and SNS communication, the necessity of smart work that can change the working environments in organizations has been emphasized. However, while there are many organizations that wish to adopt smart technologies, there are those that have been skeptical until now about its potential success. Leaders may especially have different viewpoints concerning the efficacy and effectiveness of smart work depending on the industries, characteristics of the work, etc. Therefore, this research looks to investigate whether there may be differences between leaders (manager, project manager, supervisor, etc.) and non-leaders (team member, staff, etc.) group in accepting smart working through empirical and exploratory approaches.

  • As the smartphone market grows, the needs for its new business model are also increased. However, most previous researches on smartphone applications focused on Technology Acceptance Model(TAM) and Rogers' Diffusion of Innovation Theory so that there was lack of researches on characteristics for actual smartphone users. In this research, we divided the smartphone applications into five category functions (Call & Text/Music & Video/Information Search/Game/Social Network Service (SNS)). We analyzed characteristic differences of users who used the each application category and found that the differences were statistically significant in both demographic and smartphone usage characteristics (frequency of downloading applications, and download experience of paid applications). Additionally, the smartphone usage characteristic is closely related to the usage duration. The representative result is that the characteristics of people used Music & Video function actively were women in their 20s who downloaded applications more than three times per week, and had a download experience of paid applications. It is positive result for players in the application markets, because it means the users are willing to pay for downloading the paid applications. However, large companies already occupied most of the market share in music applications so that small and medium-sized players should develop an innovative and distinguishable business model in order to success. We believe this research result would provide significant implications for the players in planning the successful business model and developing an user-specific application product.

  • This article focuses on Funology and a new classified application system based on concept of language and thought which are formed by body experience. It is defined by Funology Body as that. Funology Body is classifying and searching system which are consisted of a body, world (environment), and device tool. The body is sectioned by Brain, Eyes, Ears, Nose, Mouth, Hand, Torso, Feet, and Heart according as parts of the human body. This allows intuiting and experience searching as making classified system connected to the application relationship with concept of an each part of body. The Brain of the body is sub-classified by Book, Account, Business, Memory, Education, Search, and Aphorism to imply the application with thought. The Eyes take Video, Photography, and Broadcast for visibility. The Ears is categorized as Music, Instrument, Audio, and Radio for hearing. The Nose gets Perfume, Smell for olfactory sense. The Mouth is sectioned by Food, SNS, Chatting, Email, and Blog for eating and communication. The Hand sorts into Games, Kits, and Editing to handle, create, and play. The Torso is grouped by Health, Medical, Dance, Sport, Fashion, and Testyuorself related by protecting internal and meaning of the body core. The Feet is classified by Travel, Transportation, Map, and Outdoor for moving and concept of expanding the terrain. The Heart is consisted of Fear, Anger, Joy, Sadness, Acceptance, Disgust, Expectation, and Surprise for a human feeling. Beyond that, the World takes News, Time, Weather, Map, Fortune, and Shop, and Device tool gets Interface, Utilities. The Funology Body has a unique characteristic of giving intuitive and sensuous pleasure and reflection of users' attitude and taste for changing application flexibly.

A Study on the Muslim Women's Fashioning in Southeast Asia -Focus on Indonesia and Malaysia- (동남아시아 무슬림 여성 의복의 패션화 연구 -인도네시아·말레이시아를 중심으로-)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the fashioning phenomenon of Muslim women's clothes and its significance for Islamic culture around Malaysia and Indonesia. The study examined the phenomenon of hijab, a cultural symbol of Muslim women, emerging as a 'fashion' rather than folk or religious costume, as well as its significance. As for methodology, the investigator reviewed research reports, previous papers, and literature studies home and abroad since 2010 and conducted an interview with seven female college students from Indonesia and Malaysia and one fashion editor from Malaysia staying in South Korea. The findings suggested that the high level of women's education and entry into society along with the Pop Islamic created an opportunity for hijab among Muslim ladies. The balance between religion and fashion leads to happiness among young Muslim women. Second, the modest fashion and global fashion retrends present a fashion culture and identify the diversity of aesthetic values around the globe. Finally, SNS and hijabista activities have promoted individual means of direction based on hijab to represent the identity of Muslims on SNS, they play an important role in the acceptance of global fashion and the fashioning and globalization of Southeast Asian Muslim clothes. The findings understanding of the consumers and markets of Muslim fashion related to global industries and contribute to the multicultural and diverse aspects of research and development in the field of apparel study.

A Study on the Influence of Affct Based Trust and Cognition Based Trust on Word-of-Mouth Behaviors -Focusing on Friendship Network and Advice Network- (정서기반신뢰와 인지기반신뢰가 구전행동에 미치는 영향 연구 -친교네트워크와 조언네트워크를 중심으로-)

  • As developed IT, Word-of-Mouth(WOM) used varied terms as buzz marketing and viral marketing, and impressed that importance. Despite introduced new marketing tool on managers and professionals, online word-of-mouth including SNS lack of study on social network what based viral in marketing. In social network, patterns of relationship between individuals influence each other individual behaviors. Therefore this research grouped friendship-network and advice-network by characteristics, studied on trust of information source that antecedents of word-of-mouth in network. This study examined that affect- and cognition based trust affect WOM acceptance as WOM behaviors and examined effect of type of product as moderating variable. Additional this literature studied that WOM acceptance affect WOM recommend. To find the Influence of Trust on Word-of-Mouth Behaviors, a survey has done 206 samples(undergraduate students). The results of this study are as following : First, type of trust different friendship network and advice network. Affect-based trust is outstanding in friendship network than in advice network, while cognition-based trust stands out in advice network than another. Second, affect- and cognition based trust positive affect WOM acceptance. Contrary to expectations, what is preconceived trust in network have a similar effect for WOM acceptance regardless of type of trust. Third, WOM acceptance positive affect WOM recommend. Fourth, affect based trust affect WOM acceptance of hedonic product rather than utilitarian product. Upon especially in friendship network terms, affect-based trust has a more effect on WOM acceptance than cognition-based trust. This study has many implications. First, it is important that trust what have an influence WOM acceptance grouped affect- and cognition based trust. Second, it confirmed that trust is antecedents of positive WOM. Third, it is important that network grouped friendship network and advice-network by trust. Fourth, it gave managerial implications that they have to supply WOM through which network by type of product. We This study classified network and trust based on previous study. Then it examined relations between WOM behaviors. Further research could do enrich various things for example various age group, valence of message, quality of information.

An Exploratory Study for Artificial Intelligence Shopping Information Service (인공지능 쇼핑 정보 서비스에 관한 탐색적 연구)

  • Purpose - The study was AI as exploratory study on artificial intelligence (AI) shopping information services, to explore the possibility of a new business of the distribution industry. For research, we compare to IBM of consumer awareness surveys an AI shopping information service for retailing channel and target goods group. Finally, we present to service scenario for distribution service using AI. Research design, data, and methodology - First, to identify possible the success of the information service shopping using AI, AI technology for the consumer is very important for the acceptance of judgement. Therefore, we explored the possibility of AI information service for business as a shopping. The experimental data were used to interpret the meaning of the relevant literature and the IBM Institute of Business Value (IBV) Report 2015. This research is based on the use of a technical acceptance model (TAM) to determine whether the consumer would adopt the 'AI shopping information service' technology. Step 1 of the process assumes that the consumer adopts AI technology. In step 2, consumers find their preference channels and goods targeted at them as per their preferences. Finally Step 3, we present scenario for 'AI shopping information service' based on the results of Step 1 and 2. Results - Consumers have expressed their high interests in the new shopping information services, especially the on/off line distribution channels can use shopping information to increase the efficiency in provision of goods. Digital channel (such as SNS, online shopping etc.) is especially high value goods such as cars, furniture, and home appliances by displaying it to an appropriate product group. Conclusions - The study reveals the potential for the use of new business models such as 'AI shopping information service' by the distribution industry. We present seven scenario related AI application refer from IBM suggestion, and the findings would enable the distribution industry to approach target consumers with their products, especially high value goods. 'Shopping advisor' is considered to the most effective. In order to apply to the other field of the distribution industry business, which utilizes AI technology, it should be accompanied by additional empirical data analysis should be undertaken.

Social Network Services have developed based on the sociality and have effects on the sociality of individuals and companies.   • China has the largest number of the user of web 2.0 such as messengers and blogs, as of 2008 year. Chinese Internet digital market will grow from $85 billion in 2007 to $264 billion in 2015. The importance of Chinese Internet business is increasing, because of its size and growth potential. This research is focused on following two questions. First, what are the major characteristics of social networking services in China? In order to find out the answer about this question, the case study on Tencent QQ and Sina Poco, the most representative social networking services company in China, was done. And the reason of the use of social networking services, their contents, and the attitude toward the paid service were identified. Second, what are the major factors influencing the use of social networking services in China. User participation, network effect, usefulness, and system quality were inferred as the factors influencing the use. These factors were based on motivation theory, technology acceptance model, and the related research papers. This research model was proved by data analysis using Partial Least Square. As results, the use of social networking services was influenced by usefulness, network effect, user participation, and system quality. But social influence was not significant of the use of social networking services.
