This study empirically investigates the factors influencing the intention to accept mobile technology in Saudi healthcare service delivery using the extended unified theory of acceptance and use of technology model (UTAUT) with perceived reliability and price value. Accordingly, a conceptual model combining behavioral constructs with those linked to the technology acceptance model is developed. This model aims to identify factors that predict patients' acceptance of mobile technology healthcare service delivery. The developed model is examined using responses obtained from a survey on 545 participants receiving healthcare services in Saudi Arabia. Thus, we have conceptualized the developed model and validated seven hypotheses involving key constructs. Results suggest that performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, facilitating conditions, price value, and perceived reliability are direct predictors of user behavior to accept mobile technology in healthcare service delivery. The results provide empirical evidence to the literature on the effect of facilitating conditions and effort expectancy on mobile health (mHealth) adoption. The results show that the COVID-19 pandemic has significantly increased the adoption of mHealth services in Saudi Arabia.

Smart Factory is the decisive factor of the Fourth Industrial Revolution and is a key field for national competitiveness. Until now, most smart factory research has focused on policy and technology. In order to spread more technology, it is necessary to study what factors influence the adoption of smart factory technology in the enterprise. Nevertheless, little research has been done. In this study, based on the UTAUT (Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology), which has been proved through many years of research, I have studied the factors that influence the acceptance of smart factory technology. As a result of research, performance expectancy, social influence, and facilitating conditions of UTAUT model had a positive(+) effect on behavior intention. Their relationship of influence was in the order of performance expectancy (β = .459)> facilitating conditions (β = .212)> social influence (β = .210). However, it was found that the effort expectancy did not affect the behavior intention, and the impact of the newly perceived risk on the behavior intention to use was not confirmed. The main reason is that the acceptance of smart factory technology is not a matter of personal interest but a matter of organizational choice. Trust, on the other hand, was found to be partially mediated between performance expectancy, facilitating conditions, social influence and behavior intention. For many years, many researchers have validated the UTAUT, which has been validated through various empirical studies. It is academically meaningful to begin the study of factors affecting the acceptance of smart factory technology in terms of the UTAUT. In practice, it is necessary to provide SME employees with more information related to the introduction of smart factories, to provide advanced services related to the establishment of smart factories, and to establish a standardized model for each industry.
Objective: This study aimed to identify the perceptions of orthodontic treatment among Korean adults and determine the factors that drive them to seek orthodontic treatment. Methods: A total of 2,321 adults aged 19-64 years were surveyed using an internet research system from a specialized research company. The participants were divided into the following groups based on their experience of and willingness to undergo orthodontic treatment: experience, acceptance, and non-acceptance groups. The characteristics of the participants were compared using analysis of variance with post-hoc analysis. Multinomial logistic regression analysis was performed in all three models with the non-acceptance group as a reference. Results: In terms of demographic characteristics, age, gender, marital status, and education had significant influences on orthodontic treatment decisions in adults in the experience and acceptance groups (p < 0.001). When all the factors were analyzed, age, marital status, past dental treatment experience, regular oral examinations, demand for orthodontic treatment, optimal treatment period, health insurance coverage, information on orthodontic treatments, perceptions regarding orthodontic treatment, and psychosocial impact of dental esthetics significantly influenced orthodontic treatment decisions in adults in the experience and acceptance groups (p < 0.001). Conclusions: These findings suggest that various factors influence orthodontic treatment decisions in adults. Individuals who seek orthodontic treatment were found to undergo more regular dental treatment and oral examination than those who did not. They also had a better perception of orthodontic treatment and more negative values for the psychosocial impact of dental esthetics.
Purpose - This empirical study, aims to identify the determinants of adoption and acceptance of mobile payment as to understand why it is successful in some countries in Sub-Saharan Africa but failing in others. A comparative study of a successful mobile payment service and a purported failed one was done as to have some insights to the factors affecting acceptance of the technology. Design/methodology/approach - The strength of three notable theories: theory of diffusion of innovation (DOI), the extended unified theory of user acceptance of information technology (UTAUT2) and self-efficacy theory were use. The self-efficacy of government support inclusion as, a moderating variable in the form of infrastructure, securing transaction and price value revealed the relevance of government in the success of mobile payment service. By means of a field survey of 705 subjects in two separate regions of Africa (East and West), the data was collected and use to test the research model. Findings - The study result shows the importance of the moderating factor of government support to the success of mobile payment of any nation. The result also shows the importance of the perception of relative advantage, compatibility, complexity, social influence as already revealed by other studies. Research implications or Originality - Mobile payment success in some part of Sub-Saharan Africa is well known but also suggested to fail in some Sub-Saharan African countries. Buttressing the need for understanding of the factors affecting mobile payment acceptance. This article empirically examined the factors influencing the success of mobile payment, and we implicated that if the implementation of mobile payment is to be successful for mobile commerce in any nation, adoption, acceptance and use by its citizen is imperative.
Purpose: This study is a research study to investigate the effects of multicultural experience, perception, and multicultural efficacy on nursing students' multicultural acceptance. Method: The relationship between variables was analyzed using SPSS/WIN 25 program by Pearson's correlation coefficient, and the effect of multicultural experience and perception and multicultural efficacy on multicultural acceptance was analyzed by multiple regression analysis. Results: TVariables affecting multicultural acceptance were multicultural awareness (β=0.30, p<001) and multicultural efficacy (β=0.49, p<.001), and multicultural efficacy had a significant effect on multicultural acceptance. In the results of the regression model, among the variables of multicultural awareness and multicultural efficacy, the multicultural efficacy variable had a greater effect on multicultural acceptance, and both variables had a positive effect on multicultural acceptance. The explanatory power of the regression model for multicultural acceptance was 57.5% (F=59.33, p<.001). Conclusion: Factors affecting multicultural acceptance of nursing students are multicultural awareness and efficacy. Support should be provided to provide opportunities to broaden acceptance.
The purpose of this study is to make an empirical analysis on the factors affecting the intention for the continuous use of the BSC system, which has been recently spread in the public sector. Because the object of acceptance is the performance management system based on BSC (Balanced Scorecard) implemented in the form of information systems, this study proposes a research model by applying TAM (Technology Acceptance Model). Independent variables are factors affecting the acceptance of BSC system such as training, communication, IS support, CEO support and personal innovativeness, and we examine their effects on the dependent variable, namely, intention on continuous use via mediating variables: perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use. A questionnaire survey was conducted with public institutions(firms) that had introduced and were operating the BSC system; 264 valid questionnaires are adopted. Collected data are analyzed using SPSS 16.0 and AMOS 7.0. Results of reliability test show that all analyzed data are reliable. In validity test, one item regarding communication was excluded; 9 latent variables and 34 observed variables are used in the final analysis. Based on the results of the hypothesis test through path analysis using a structural equation model, 10 out of 16 hypotheses are accepted. Factors affecting perceived usefulness are training and IS(Information System) support. The analysis results indicate that perceived ease of use is mainly affected by IS support, CEO support, and personal innovativeness among the factors related to the acceptance of the BSC system. This suggests that, contrary to the expectation that the BSC system may be used without difficulty, the management's active support is required in order to attain expected improvement in productivity and work efficiency. This was also pointed out in case studies on the construction of the BSC system in public sectors. On the other hand, perceived ease of use is found to affect perceived usefulness. This supports the results of previous researches on TAM. Perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness are found to affect the attitude towards the use of the system. The intention on continuous use is affected more by perceived usefulness than by the attitude towards the use of system. This result supports the results of previous researches on TAM, showing that the BSC system is utilized substantially in worksites. This study is considered meaningful in that it was actually performed on users at public institutions(firms) that had introduced the BSC system and that it empirically tested hypotheses on the acceptance of the BSC system by applying TAM to the research model.

As smart devices like smartphones and smart pads are prevalent recently, dramatic changes so called 'smart evolution' deployed in many socioeconomic areas. These changes lead the TV industry to develop a smart TV differentiated from a conventional TV by enabling internet connectivity and applications execution. In this study the factors affecting the acceptance of a smart TV are extracted by reviewing the previous works and the structural relationships among these factors are analyzed. Adding 'Social Influence' to consider an environmental factor and 'Innovativeness' for personal characteristics, we build an extended Technology Acceptance Model and analyzed the structural relationships among the factors in the model using Structural Equation Model. In the results we can find that the environmental factors affect the perceived characteristics. The moderating effects of gender and level of experience in smart devices have also been investigated. No difference is found between gender groups. In much-experienced group, Innovativeness affects Perceived Usefulness and acceptance of a smart TV. In less-experienced group, however, Innovativeness affects Perceived Ease of Use, Expected Enjoyment and finally acceptance of a smart TV.
Electronic payment is a very crucial function in electronic commerce. As electronic commercial transactions develop on a mobile basis, a variety of electronic payment services that can be conveniently used are appearing. In particular, mobile easy payment services improve the user's convenience of payment and give a positive effect on activating online transactions. In this study we investigate empirically the factors influencing the user resistance to mobile easy payment services. Especially, we compares the main acceptance factors of the mobile easy payment services with the main acceptance resistance factors of the services. By doing that, we derive the implications that could contribute to the vitalizations of the mobile easy payment service market. The research model includes "perceived risk" as a main acceptance resistance factor, and "easy of use" and "usefulness" as the main acceptance factors. The relationship among these three factors, "use conflict", and "user resistance" is expressed in the model. We analyze the model by Structural Equation Model. The results proves that all the research hypotheses are adopted except for the impact of "ease of use" on "use conflict", and that users of mobile easy payment services think of "usefulness" more important than "risk".

As network technologies evolve and so-called smart technologies appear, applications of smartphones are being applied in widespread areas. In general, the adoption of smartphones is different from the adoption of information systems. Thus, we tried to find out factors which may affect the user acceptance behavior. However, there have been some academic studies that analyzed the factors that affect user acceptance of smartphones, and their relationships. Under this academic background, we develop a model to examine how smartphones are accepted by users based on technology acceptance model. The theoretical model is validated through an online survey of smartphone users from two universities in Seoul, Korea. The results reveal that the users will have positive attitude towards adopting the smartphone when they perceive that the usage of smartphones is useful. We also find that the perceived usefulness of the smartphone is affected by the perceived ease of use and the media richness. The results also suggest that the perceived ease of use is determined by the self-efficacy whereas the intention to use smartphones is determined bv the perceived usefulness, the self-efficacy, and the attitude toward smartphnes' usage. Theoretical and practical implications are discussed.
The purpose of this study is to find out the important factors and efficient strategies concerning fashion mobile marketing. This study contributes to the effect on shopping behavior of m-commerce consumer applying technology acceptance model(TAM) in the mobile fashion merchandise shopping environment. The areas of study interest are mobile commerce interface characteristics, flow, perceived usefulness, ease of use, attitude, purchase intention. To fulfill the study objectives, a total of 406 questionnaires were conducted to the customers with first-hand experience with merchandise in mobile commerce. The judgement sampling method was employed on sample population ages from 20s to 30s over two month period. Based on the results of the above-mentioned path analysis, The result showed that different factors affect acceptance intention of the fashion M-commerce. The result which extended TAM relationship, excepted affects in perceived ease of use by navigation and Flow, perceived usefulness by perceived ease of use and purchase intention by perceived ease of use considers from all relationships the effect put out. On this wise, mobile commerce interface characteristics needs provider of basic contents to fashion mobile commerce technology acceptance and suggested the ability which diffuses a fashion mobile transactions.
