차량내구시험과 시장 사용환경에서의 브레이크 패드 마찰재 마모수명에 대한 통계적 평가 (The Statistical Evaluation for the Wear Life of Brake Pad Linings in Vehicle Durability Test and Customer Usage Environment)

  • The life data analysis of the system and component are useful to describe the result of reliability test in product life to satisfy customer's growing need and to change test specifications or design criteria by life data analysis. And vehicle durability tesr occurred market environment. In this study, a statistical analysis for the wear life of brake pad linings helped perform correlation procedure between vehicle durability test and market. B-life values of the brake pad wear life data from both vehicle durability test and marker usage were compared to determine acceleration of the test by the Weibull, normal and log-normal distribution. The acceleration coefficient of the vehicle durability test can access to evaluate design criteria of product and test specification.

  • A fatigue test was used to evaluate the fatigue life of an actual structure. The loaded state and the constraint condition of an actual structure must be same as the specimen in order to apply the test results to an actual structure by the specimen. The loaded state and constraint conditions can't be same as the specimen in the actual structure which is complicated. In order to reduce these differences, an actual structure test with a lot of frequencies is need to get a fatigue life curve. Therefore, ten sets of accelerated test units which attached unbalanced mass were composed in this study. Acceleration history about the vibration of an actual structure was acquired. Rainflow counting was used on acceleration history, and the life curve return formula was assumed. The return formula that damage satisfied `1' was acquired in a feedback process by the Miner's rule, which was the linear cumulative damage theory. A conservative fatigue life curve was determined with a return formula to have been presumed by each set. The fatigue life of regular rpm condition was calculated by these conservative fatigue life curves.

  • Hydraulic hose assemblies deliver a fluid power in various oil pressure equipment such as construction machinery, automobile, aircraft, industrial machinery, machine tools and machinery for ships. Also, they are widely used as pipes in oil pressure circuit. When we estimate their lifetime, it is essential to conduct an accelerated life test by choosing the factor that suits the usage condition of the test object since traditional test method for estimating lifetime under the influence of various external factors incurs hardship in terms of time and expenses. The objective of this study is to propose an acceleration model that takes both temperature and pressure without flexing condition into consideration. The lifetime is estimated by applying the proposed temperature-nonthermal acceleration model to the test data. And we compare the proposed temperature-nonthermal acceleration model and the accelerated life equation suggested by John(1994).

고장 분석과 가속 수명시험을 통한 PTC 히터의 신뢰성 평가 (Reliability Evaluation on PTC Heater Using Accelerated Life Test and Failure Analysis)

  • In this paper, the failure mechanism of PTC heater were examined closely by failure analysis and based on it, accelerated life test were conducted. Finally, life distribution and acceleration model were established. The failure mechanism of PTC heater such as crack, increase of resistance due to heating were identified. Two acceleration factors such as temperature, humidity were chosen with two levels each and accelerated life test were done. Life distribution were identified as Weibull distribution with shape parameter 5.4 and Temperature-Humidity model was fitted as an acceleration model.

  • In this paper we investigated the method of examining the accelerated life test on LED traffic signal module by the temperature. The longevity presumption of the LED type signal light by a general heat cycle test used and executed cycle when it was done to longevity by the heat cycle test number and the acceleration factor of a real system requirements of this heat cycle test. Therefore, it reports on the introduction of the acceleration type from which the LED traffic signal module is done here to clarify the above-mentioned acceleration factor with the object and the acceleration factor is requested the test atmosphere actually in the system requirements.

농업용 트랙터 변속기의 가속 수명 시험법의 사례연구 (Case Study of Accelerated Life Test Method for Agricultural Tractor Transmission)

  • This study was performed to develop accelerated life test methods for agricultural tractor transmission receiving variable load. To acquire parameters for calculation of accelerated life test, endurance tests were performed under different torque conditions. Test results showed that the shape factor of Weibull distribution was 1.5 and fatigue damage exponent was 5.4. The calculated test time was 5,877 hours under the conditions of average life (MTBF) 3,000 hours and 90% reliability for one test sample. According to the linear cumulative damage rule, test time could be reduced using increased test load. Test time could be reduced by 252 hours when 1.2 times of the rated load compared with 0.67 times of the rated equivalent load calculated by load spectrum of the agricultural tractor. Calculated acceleration coefficient was 23.3.

가속 스트레스의 교호작용을 고려한 가속계수 모델에 대한 연구 (Study on Acceleration Factor Model with Accelerated Stress Interactions)

  • 사용조건에서 수명시험을 수행할 경우 시험시간이 많이 소요되므로 사용조건보다 가혹한 스트레스 조건을 추가하여 가속수명시험을 수행하면 시험시간을 단축시킬 수 있다. 수명에 영향을 미치는 스트레스를 선정하여 각 스트레스의 사용조건과 가속조건에서 시험을 수행할 경우 가속 스트레스간에 교호작용이 존재할 수 있다. 그러나 기존의 연구에서는 2가지 이상의 가속 스트레스를 부과하여 가속수명시험을 수행할 경우 교호작용을 고려하지 않은 경우와 가속 수명에 대한 모델식을 제시한 연구들이 대부분이다. 본 논문에서는 기계류 부품의 수명에 영향을 미치는 가속 스트레스를 선정한 후 교호작용을 고려한 시험계획에 따라 가속수명시험을 수행한 자료를 이용하여 가속 계수와 가속 스트레스간의 관계식을 산출하는 방법을 제시하고자 한다. 또한 본 논문에서 제시한 교호작용을 고려한 가속시험방법과 가속 계수를 산출할 수 있는 모델식을 이용하여 복합적인 가속수명시험 수행시 쉽게 적용하고 결과를 산출할 수 있는 기초가 될 것으로 기대된다.

PC 사용 환경에 기반한 2.5 인치 하드 디스크의 수명주기 예측에 대한 연구 (The Study on Estimating Life Cycle of 2.5 Inch Hard disk base on PC using enviroment)

  • 최근에 데이터가 대용량화됨에 따라 정보 저장의 중요성이 부각되고 있다. 본 연구는 대용량 저장장 치에 많이 사용되는 2.5인치 HDD에 대해서 가속 시험결과를 토대로 연간 제품 고장률을 예측하고 사용 환경에 대한 연간 제품 고장률과의 차이를 최소화 시키는 새로운 방안을 제시하고자 한다. 반품된 2.5인치 HDD 309개의 정보를 분석하여 실사용 환경의 시간당 전송량을 구했고, 가속 수명시험으로부터 가속 시험조건의 시간당 전송량을 구한 후, 사용률에 대한 가속 계수를 산출했다. 온도에 대한 가속 계수, 사용률에 대한 가속 계수와 고장률로 연간 제품 고장률을 예측하였다. 가속 시험의 시간당 전송량 81.4GB/hour와 사용자 93.4 %까지 대표하는 실사용 환경의 시간당 전송량은 5.8 GB/hour로 산출한 사용률에 대한 가속 계수는 14.1이다. 실사용 환경의 연간 제품 고장률은 1년 이후 안정화 되었으며, 이때 연간 제품 고장률은 0.3~0.378 % 이내에서 변동 하였다. 본 연구를 통하여 예측된 연간 제품 고장률은 0.4 %로 실사용 환경의 연간 제품 고장률과 75~94%의 일치됨을 보였다. 본 연구는 제조사의 가속수명 결과로 실사용 환경을 연간 제품 고장률을 예측하는 방법에 영향을 줄 것이다.

스크롤압축기용 오일레스 베어링의 신뢰성 평가 (Reliability Evaluation of Oilless Bearing for Scroll Compressor)

  • The life of oilless bearing affects the durability of scroll compressor. The main shaft of the scroll compressor is supported by oiiless bearing. Some of the major parameters which influence the life of oilless bearing are rotational speed, normal load, environment of refrigerant and oil film thickness. The reliability evaluation of oiiless bearing is performed through the acceleration life test for reduction of experimental time and costs. In this study, the experimental and computational investigations were performed to verify the effects of various parameters on the life of oilless bearing. The acceleration factor was achieved with the lubrication analysis between the scroll compressor and the developed reliability tester. the expected life of oilless bearing was guaranteed by reliability evaluation accompanied with the acceleration life test.

  • In this study, we researched how to estimate life-stress relationship and acceleration factor through performing accelerated life test and analyzing it. The purpose of this study is to predict life of pneumatic cylinder within short time which is widely used in automation manufacturing line. In design of accelerated life test, we selected operating pressure and load that have the most influence on main failure mode of pneumatic cylinder as accelerated factor. We used two-way factorial design for arranging of test condition to accelerated factor and accelerated level.
