감각통합중재 효과에 관한 체계적 고찰 (The Effectiveness of Sensory Integrative Intervention: A Systematic Review)

  • 목적: 감각통합중재의 효과에 대한 체계적인 고찰을 통하여 감각통합중재의 객관적인 근거기반을 제시하기 위하여 감각통합중재가 어떤 효과가 있는지 알아보고, 중재 결과 측정에 사용된 평가도구에 관하여 알아보고자 한다. 연구방법: 연구방법으로 체계적 고찰을 사용하였다. 사용된 데이터베이스는 MEDLINE/PubMed, PsycINFO, CINAHL, Cochrane Library, OTSeeker이었고, 검색어는 "effects of sensory integration", "sensory integration therapy"와 "sensory integration intervention"이었다. 최종적으로 분석에 사용된 논문은 11개로, 근거의 질적 수준은 수준 I과 수준 II, IV이었다. 분석내용으로는 감각 통합중재의 대상군과 중재방법, 중재결과 측정 영역에 따라 중재결과를 측정하는 도구 및 중재효과를 분석하였다. 결과: 1. 감각통합중재 대상으로는 자폐스펙트럼장애가 30.7%로 가장 많았으며, 전반적발달장애와 조산아가 각각 15.4%이었다. 2. 감각통합중재 방법으로는 J. Ayres에 의해 제시된 전통적인 방법이 36.4%로 가장 많이 사용되었고, 감각통합 중재의 효과를 알아보기 위하여 사용된 결과측정 영역은 행동의 문제를 해결하기 위한 영역이 40.63%로 가장 많았으며, 운동수행결과를 보기 위한 것이 28.13%, 감각기초 결과를 보기 위한 것이 25.0%이었다. 3. 감각통합중재 효과는 운동수행기술의 중재결과(66.7%)가 가장 많았으며, 그 다음으로는 감각기초를 위한 중재결과가 62.5%, 그리고 행동 문제 해결에 효과적인 경우가 61.5% 순으로 분석 되었다. 학습과 관련하여 쓰기기술에는 효과적이지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 결론: 감각통합중재는 운동수행기술과 감각기초능력 향상, 그리고 행동문제의 해결에 도움을 제공할 수 있는 치료적 접근방법이었으나 학습에 관하여는 효과적이지 않았다. 앞으로 감각통합중재의 일차적인 효과가 지속되어학습이나 일상생활에까지 영향을 미칠 수 있는가에 대한 연구문제를 가지고 연구방법 및 평가도구, 중재방법 등에 관한 연구가 필요할 것으로 생각된다.

소아에서 말 언어장애 (Speech and language disorders in children)

  • Developmental language disorder is the most common developmental disability in childhood, occurring in 5-8% of preschool children. Children learn language in early childhood, and later they use language to learn. Children with language disorders are at increased risk for difficulties with reading and written language when they enter school. These problems often persist through adolescence or adulthood. Early intervention may prevent the more serious consequences of later academic problems, including learning disabilities. A child's performance in specific speech and language areas, such as phonological ability, vocabulary comprehension, and grammatical usage, is measured objectively using the most recently standardized, norm-referenced tests for a particular age group. Observation and qualitative analysis of a child's performance supplement objective test results are essential for making a diagnosis and devising a treatment plan. Emphasis on the team approach system in the evaluation of children with speech and language impairments has been increasing. Evidence-based therapeutic interventions with short-term, long-term, and functional outcome goals should be applied, because there are many examples of controversial practices that have not been validated in large, controlled trials. Following treatment intervention, periodic follow-up monitoring by a doctor is also important. In addition, a systematized national health policy for children with speech and language disorders should be provided.

  • 환경문제 해결과 지속적 발전을 위하여 자원순환형 사회시스템이 구축이 논의되고 있으며 물류분야에서도 그 중요성이 부각되고 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 순환형 사회시스템 구축요인인 감량화, 재사용, 재활용과 기업의 물류운영 특성인 통합성, 혁신성, 대응성과의 관계 및 물류성과와의 관계, 이들 요소가 기업규모별로 물류성과에 미치는 효과와 그 영향요인을 분석하여 방향을 제시하고자 하는데 있다. 이 목적을 달성하기 위하여 제조기업을 대상으로 문헌연구와 실증연구를 병행하였다. 본 연구는 기존의 물류 연구들과 달리 자원순환형 사회시스템 구축요인과 물류운영특성이 물류성과에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다는데 의의가 있다고 하겠다.

유도무기 임무 분석을 위한 레이더 성능 모델 (A Radar Performance Model for Mission Analyses of Missile Models)

  • In M&S, radar model is a software module to identify position data of simulation objects. In this paper, we propose a radar performance model for simulations of air defenses. The previous radar simulations are complicated and difficult to model and implement since radar systems in real world themselves require a lot of considerations and computation time. Moreover, the previous radar simulations completely depended on radar equations in academic fields; therefore, there are differences between data from radar equations and data from real world in mission level analyses. In order to solve these problems, we firstly define functionality of radar systems for air defense. Then, we design and implement the radar performance model that is a simple model and deals with being independent from the radar equations in engineering levels of M&S. With our radar performance model, we focus on analyses of missions in our missile model and being operated in measured data in real world in order to make sure of reliability of our mission analysis as much as it is possible. In this paper, we have conducted case studies, and we identified the practicality of our radar performance model.

활동이론에 근거한 대학도서관 전자책 서비스 담당자의 업무 분석 (Task Analysis of E-Book Service Academic Librarians Based on Activity Theory)

  • 본 연구는 대학도서관 전자책 서비스 담당자의 업무 활동과 업무 수행의 어려운 점을 분석하여 서비스 업무 개선에 필요한 기초자료를 제시하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 학술정보통계시스템을 참고하여 전자책 보유 종수가 많은 대학의 전자책 서비스 담당자 9명을 대상으로 반구조화된 면담을 실시하였고, 수집한 자료는 활동이론을 적용하여 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 담당자들은 전자책 서비스 목표를 달성하기 위해 다양한 도구를 활용하고 있었으며, 교내외의 여러 구성원들과 소통하고 있었다. 또한 각 구성원들의 분업을 통해 서비스 업무가 지속되고 있었으며, 전자책 서비스 업무 활동과 관련한 교내 및 교외 수준의 규칙이 존재했다. 그러나 업무 활동 과정에서 예산 부족, 국내 전자책의 상이한 제작 방식과 이로 인한 이용의 불편함, 일부 구성원과의 의견 충돌 등의 갈등이 파악되었다. 나아가 담당자들이 언급한 전자책 서비스 개선방안을 콘텐츠 측면, 시스템 측면, 정책적 측면으로 구분하여 제시하였다.

Long-term cognitive, executive, and behavioral outcomes of moderate and late preterm at school age

  • Background: There is increasing concern that moderate preterm (32-33 weeks' gestation) and late preterm (34-36 weeks' gestation) birth may be associated with minor neurodevelopmental problems affecting poor school performance. Purpose: We explored the cognitive function, cognitive visual function, executive function, and behavioral problems at school age in moderate to late preterm infants. Methods: Children aged 7-10 years who were born at 32+0 to 36+6 weeks of gestation and admitted to the neonatal intensive care unit from August 2006 to July 2011 at the National Health Insurance Service Ilsan Hospital were included. We excluded children with severe neurologic impairments, congenital malformations, or chromosomal abnormalities. Neuropsychological assessments consisted of 5 neuropsychological tests and 3 questionnaires. Results: A total of 37 children (mean age, 9.1±1.2 years) participated. The mean gestational age at birth was 34.6±7.5 weeks, while the mean birth weight was 2,229.2±472.8 g. The mean full-scale intelligence quotient was 92.89±11.90; 24.3% scored between 70 and 85 (borderline intelligence functioning). An abnormal score was noted for at least one of the variables on the attention deficit hyperactivity disorder diagnostic system for 65% of the children. Scores below borderline function for executive quotient and memory quotient were 32.4% and 24.3%, respectively. Borderline or clinically relevant internalizing problems were noted in 13.5% on the Child Behavior Check List. There were no significant associations between perinatal factors or socioeconomic status and cognitive, visual perception, executive function, or behavior outcomes. Conclusion: Moderate to late preterm infants are at risk of developing borderline intelligence functioning and attention problems at early school age. Cognitive and executive functions that are important for academic performance must be carefully monitored and continuously followed up in moderate to late preterm infants.

다문화 및 북한이탈주민 가정 자녀의 정신건강 (Children's Mental Health in Multicultural Family and North Korean Defectors in South Korea)

  • South Korea is changing into a multi-cultural society, due to an increase in international marriage, foreign workers and transcultural immigration. In addition, the number of North Korean defectors entering South Korea has increased and now, there are approximately 25000. Therefore, this review have focused on a research that pertains to adaptation and mental health concerns of their children. Children who have immigrated themselves or whose parents have immigrated, might experience language barriers, difficulties in school adjustment, identity confusion and mental health problems. However, their academic performance and developmental status are known to be variable and be affected by socioeconomic status and their parents' educational level. Studies that evaluated the psychological problems of North Korean adolescent refugees' indicated the need for interests in both emotional and behavioral problems. The risk factors of North Korean adolescent refugees' mental health are suggested to be past traumatic experiences, long duration of defection and short period of adaptation. When mental health professionals provide assessment and treatment, they should consider the pre- and post-migration experiences & cultural background that affect the illness behaviors and attitudes toward mental illnesses. Lastly, the majority of children with multi-cultural background are still under an adolescent period and we should follow up with long-term perspectives.

Incorporation of Brainteaser Game in Basic Organic Chemistry Course to Enhance Students' Attitude and Academic Achievement

  • Game shows are capable of grabbing students' attention in a lecture, and at the same time offers much delight to students to learn in a more interesting and entertaining way. A mind game was developed and incorporated into the teaching of basic organic chemistry course at the Universiti Malaysia Terengganu. The modified brainteaser game is comprised of a set of problems associated with vocabulary or concepts in basic organic chemistry, whereby students were required to solve within a stipulated time frame. Students' attitude changes were then evaluated with the administration of Attitude toward the Subject of Chemistry Inventory Version 2 (ASCIv2) questionnaire. The result of this study revealed that the intervention group experienced a significant change in attitude towards the course as compared to the control group. The intervention group also experienced a positive learning environment, resulting in an increased academic performance and interest.

학술지 평가정책에 관한 고찰 -학술진흥재단의 학술지정책을 중심으로- (A Study on the Journal Evaluation Policy of Korea Research Foundation)

  • 학술커뮤니케이션 도구로서의 학술지의 중요성은 재론의 여지가 없으며, 학문연구의 전반적 수준을 높이기 위한 방편으로 학술지의 질적 수준을 제고하고 이를 합리적으로 평가할 수 있는 방안을 강구하여야 할 필요성은 매우 높다. 그러나 평가는 단순히 학술지의 우열을 가리는 것에 머물러서는 안되며 평가대상의 효율, 장점과 단점을 보여주고, 단점을 보완하여 질을 높일 수 있는 방법을 제시하여야 한다. 이러한 맥락에서 이 글에서는 학술진흥재단의 학술지평가 정책에 대한 논란을 재조명하고, 이 정책이 학술담론의 생산과 유통에 개입함으로써 학문 연구의 창조성과 자율성을 억압하는 면은 없는지, 구체적으로 등재 학술지와 이를 생산하는 학회 그리고 평가의 주체 기관의 권력화가 정보의 자유로운 흐름에 미치는 영향은 어떠한지 등의 문제들을 살펴본다.

Consumer Satisfaction Survey on Health Care Convergence College Students at a University

  • Purpose: This study aims to measure the level of satisfaction with the overall education of current students, who are major consumers of education by department at the Health Care Convergence University, and to establish development strategies such as improving education quality and satisfaction by deriving problems and improvements. Research design, data and methodology: This study drew conclusions through secondary data analysis based on data surveyed by the Educational Performance Management Center of a university in the academic year of 2020. The target of the education consumer satisfaction survey was 470 students of the College in the academic year 2020. Frequency analysis and correlation analysis were applied to the data using the statistical package program SPSS 25 version. Results: In the major curriculum satisfaction survey, the department with the highest score was optics and optics, 4.11, and the department with the lowest score was medical IT, 3.29. Conclusions: The department with the highest correlation in the correlation analysis result of the demand survey by department was the Department of Medical Management and the Department of Medical IT, with a correlation coefficient r=0.984, and the lowest correlation in the correlation analysis result of the demand survey by department was the Department of Medical IT and Dental Hygiene, with a correlation coefficient r= -0.085.
