Flux Loss and Neutron Diffraction Measurement Ag-sheathed Bi-2223 Tapes in terms of Flux Creep

  • Alternating current (AC) losses of two Bi-2223 ([Bi, Pb]: Sr: Ca: Cu: O = 2:2:2:3) tapes [(Tape I, un-twist-pitch) and the other with a twist-pitch of 10 mm (Tape II)] were measured and compared. These samples, produced by the powder-in-(Ag) tube (PIT) method, are multi-filamentary. Also, it's produced by non-twist and different twist pitch (8, 10, 13, 30, 50 and 70 mm). The critical current measurement was carried out under the environment in liquid Nitrogen and in zero-field by 4-probe method. Susceptibility measurements were conducted while cooling in a magnetic field. Flux loss measurements were conducted as a function of ramping rate, frequency and field direction. The AC flux loss increases as the twist-pitch of the tapes decreased, in agreement with the Norris Equation. Neutron-diffraction measurements have been carried out investigate the crystal structure, magnetic structures, and magnetic phase transitions in Bi-2223([Bi, Pb]:Sr:Ca:Cu:O)

  • This paper presents a novel current control system to eliminate the steady state control error for PWM AC-DC converter. A general mathematical model of the converter which is represented as a state-space model is established. The state-space model is used for the simulation of converter with the proposed tracking control system of sinusoidal current. In this system, a novel current control which do not require coordinate transformations using internal principle of PI controller is described. It is proved that the steady state deviation reduce to zero through a transfer function of source current control system. Finally, simulations show good source current control characteristics by means of a simplified control system which do not require coordinate transformations.

  • This paper describes a boost converter cascaded high frequency link direct do-ac converter suitable for fuel cell power sources. A new multi-loop control for a boost converter to reduce the low frequency input current harmonics drawn from fuel cell is proposed. A new PWM technique for the cycloconverter at the secondary to reject the low order harmonics in the output voltages is presented in detail.

  • 이 논문은 Single-stage로 구현한 전기 오토바이용 배터리 완속 충전기를 제안한다. 전기 오토바이용 배터리 완속 충전기는 상용전원을 입력으로 사용하므로 $110V_{ac}$$220V_{ac}$에서 사용이 가능하며 역률 보정이 고려되어야 한다. 일반적으로 역률 개선(Power Factor Correction : PFC)를 담당하는 AC/DC 컨버터와 DC/DC단의 2단 구성의 충전기 구조가 일반적이나, 이를 기존 이단구조의 복잡한 시스템을 단일 전력단으로 설계하였다. 본 논문에서는 전기 오토바이용 2KW급 SRC single-stage 공진형 컨버터를 설계하고 실험 검증하였다.

  • This paper proposed the single phase multi-level PWM AC/DC converter using binary combine which controls input current by combining buck converters to improve input current characteristic, and confirmed its validity throughout simulation and experiment. This method, which is multiplying and duplicating output of converter of equal capacity, has the advantage of being able to control unit power factor of input current and reducing of the problem caused by high frequency switching, and appling to high power converter because filter is not necessary etc.

  • Designing of the squirrel cage AC Traction Motor has many difficulties which has to be small shape in order to be suitable into bogie frame, high efficiency and light weight. It means that induction motor for tractive efforts has to be different magnetic and electric loading ratio from industrial induction motor. This paper is devoted to an examination of how this ratio affects overall design concept and. hence the main design points for traction motor. Also studied is the changed coefficients of the magnetic and electric loading ratio squirrel cage induction motor for the traction purpose, which has been already identified from the referance book for industrial purpose induction motor.

  • This test was performed to assess the corelation of insulation deterioration condition with breakdown voltage of the stator winding of 3.3kV class induction motors which have been in service for 10 years after being installed in 1993. The insulation diagnostic tests include resistance, polarization index(P.I), dissipation factor$({\Delta}tan{\delta})$, maximum partial discharges (Qmax) and AC breakdown test. we evaluated the corelation of insulation diagnostic test with AC breakdown test for stator wilding of high voltage induction motor.

  • 본 논문에서는 전력변환장치의 고효율화 시대에 맞추어 AC-DC단에는 브릿지리스 PFC, DC-DC단에는 Full-Bridge LLC 공진형 컨버터를 적용하여 전부하 ZVS 동작영역 확보를 통한 고효율의 저전압, 대전류 AC-DC 정류기를 제안하였다. 제안된 AC-DC 정류기는 그린 PC용 전력변환 장치로써 단말형 중앙 집중식 PC rack 시스템에 사용된다. 따라서 19 [V], 105 [A] (2KW) Full-bridge LLC 공진형 컨버터를 설계 및 제작하여 실험을 통해 제안된 토폴로지의 타당성을 검증하였다.
