  • The checklist currently used for aviation safety inspection performed by ASIs(Aviation Safety Inspectors) consists of inspection groups and multiple items, it does not have safety attribute and structured hierarchy system which required to efficiently process aviation safety analysis. On this study, categorized the domestic and foreign ASI checklist by safety attribute from ICAO recommended and presented composition of checklist for safety assurance by comparative analysis composition of domestic and foreign ASI checklist.

  • Traffic management means the management of streams of people, vehicle and cargo. Its aim is to help creating an efficient, safe and environmentally friendly transport system. Traffic management can roughly be divided in traffic control and monitoring, traffic information and demand management. The main purpose of this thesis is providing the basis for developing the next generation train traffic management system by comparing domestic and abroad train traffic management system. The composition of this thesis has been discussed in the following order of the comparison of train traffic management system's function, the introduction of Autonomous Decentralized system, the comparison between CTC and ATOS. the comparison between the hierarchy system and Autonomous Decentralized system, the study of introduction plan of Autonomous Decentralized-type train traffic management system and conclusion.

전동 유압 슬라이딩 데크 시스템 최적화를 위한 기구학 및 구조해석 (Kinematics and Structural Analysis for Optimization of an Electro-Hydraulic Sliding Deck Systems)

  • 농기계 상하차를 위한 전동 유압 슬라이딩 데크 시스템을 개발하는데 있어 경량화가 필수적이며, 이를 해결하기 위해 덤프 각도에 따른 슬라이딩 데크의 진출길이를 계산하고, 허용가능 각도 중 가강 큰 하중 받는 각도에서 재질과 두께를 변경하며 구조해석을 진행, 최적 두께와 재질을 선정하였다. 먼저 슬라이딩 데크 진출길이 계산식을 도출하기 위해 전체 시스템의 구성을 파악하고, 시스템을 단순화 하는 작업을 시행하였다. 또한 시스템의 입 출력 관계를 파악하기 위해 자유도 계산을 수행 하였고, 단순화한 모델을 이용하여 덤프각도에 따른 슬라이딩 데크의 진출길이 계산식을 도출하였다. 도출한 계산식을 수치해석 프로그램을 이용하여 덤프각도에 따른 슬라이딩 데크 진출길이 계산을 수행하였고, 시스템의 최대 최소 각도에서의 진출길이를 파악 하였다. 신뢰성 확보를 위해 시스템의 축소모형을 제작하여 실험을 통해 계산식을 검증하였다. 슬라이딩 데크 재질과 두께를 결정하기 위해 데크를 단순화 하였고, 데크 제작에 쓰이는 대표적인 재질 두 가지를 선정하였다. 단순화한 모델을 해석 프로그램을 사용하여 최대 하중을 받는 조건에서 두께와 재질에 따른 변형량과 응력을 비교하였다. 해석결과 ATOS80을 이용할 경우 두께를 줄이면서 더 적은 변형량을 가지게 되어 경량화를 이룰 수 있다.

FCAW의 혼합가스 변화에 따른 용접 모니터링과 특성에 관한 연구 (Study of the welding monitor and characteristics according to a change in Gas mixture by FCAW)

  • 본 연구에서는 Atos 60의 시험편에 혼합가스의 변화에 따른 FCA용접을 하였고, 용접특성 분석 위하여 용접공정상의 실시간 모니터링 시스템과 용접 후 기계적 성질을 평가 하였다. Ar 80%+$CO_2$ 20% 혼합하고 낮은 속도로 용접한 경우 가장 미려한 비드와 스패터 발생이 적게 나타났으며, 반면 $CO_2$ 100%인 경우 스패터가 많이 발생하는 것을 확인하였다. 정상단락이 발생하는 저전류 영역으로 혼합가스의 사용에 대한 스패터 발생을 확인 할수 있는 조건이며, $CO_2$ 100%인 경우 각층의 단락율은 약 2배 이상 높았고, Peak의 분포가 많은 아크의 불안정 상태로 나타났다. 인장시험결과 Ar 80%+$CO_2$ 20%, Ar 90%+$CO_2$ 10%, $CO_2$ 100%의 항복강도는 각각 511MPa, 507MPa, 469MPa 이었으며, $CO_2$ 100%의 항복강도 보다 각각 약 8.9% 8.1% 향상되었다. 인장강도는 각각 622MPa, 609MPa, 581MPa로 $CO_2$ 100%의 인장강도 보다 각각 약 7.0%, 4.8% 향상되었다.

1.2GPa급 강판 판재 성형에서 스프링백 감소를 위한 금형 보상 설계 (Compensation Design to Reduce Springback in Sheet Metal Forming of 1.2GPa Ultra High Strength Steel)

  • The manual modification of stamping die has widely been used in order to reduce springback after sheet metal forming. When UHSS (Ultra High Strength Steel) is used in sheet metal forming, the die design considering springback compensation is more difficult because higher strength sheet has more springback. In this study, the optimization method was used in order to design die geometry considering springback compensation after forming of 1.2GPa UHSS. Die geometries were defined as design variables and the springback distance from the die surface was conducted as object function in optimization process. The optimized die geometry considering springback compensation was performed using finite element and optimization analysis. The simulation results such as thickness distribution and springback amount were compared with measured data using 3D optical measurement system (GOM ARGUS, ATOS). And the prediction of springback amount showed a good agreement within test results.

Comparing the accuracy of six intraoral scanners on prepared teeth and effect of scanning sequence

  • PURPOSE. The aim of this study was to evaluate the accuracy of six recently introduced intraoral scanners (IOSs) for single crown preparations isolated from the complete arch, and to determine the effect of scanning sequence on accuracy. MATERIALS AND METHODS. A complete arch with right and left canine preparations for single crowns was used as a study model. The reference dataset was obtained by scanning the complete arch using a highly accurate industrial scanner (ATOS Core 80, GOM GmbH). Six different IOSs (Trios, iTero, Planmeca Emerald, Cerec Omnicam, Primescan, and Virtuo Vivo) were used to scan the model ten times each. The scans performed with each IOS were divided into two groups, based on whether the scanning sequence started from the right or left quadrant (n=5). The accuracy of digital impression was evaluated using three-dimensional analyzing software (Geomagic Studio 12, 3D Systems). The Kruskal Wallis and Mann- Whitney U statistical tests for trueness analysis and the One-way ANOVA test for precision analysis were performed (α=.05). RESULTS. The trueness and precision values were the lowest with the Primescan (25 and 10 ㎛), followed by Trios (40.5 and 11 ㎛), Omnicam (41.5 ㎛ and 18 ㎛), Virtuo Vivo (52 and 37 ㎛), iTero (70 and 12 ㎛) and Emerald (73.5 and 60 ㎛). Regarding trueness, iTero showed more deviation when scanning started from the right (P=.009). CONCLUSION. The accuracy of digital impressions varied depending on the IOS and scanning sequence used. Primescan had the highest accuracy, while Emerald showed the most deviation in accuracy for single crown preparations.

다구찌기법을 이용한 대형 평판트레일러 하부프레임 경량설계 (Optimal Design of Lightweight Frame for Heavy Flat-Bed Trailer by Using Taguchi Method)

  • 최근 환경문제로 인한 차량의 연료절감이 중요해지면서 수송산업에서도 대형 수송기계의 경량설계에 대한 필요성이 지속적으로 커지고 있다. 본 연구에서는, 고강도강으로 대체된 대형 평판 트레일러 프레임의 경량모델을 개발하기 위하여 구조해석을 수행하였다. 이를 위하여, 트레일러 프레임의 주요 설계변수들을 선정하고 다구찌 기법을 적용하여 응력, 처짐량 그리고 비틀림 강성에 대하여 최적화된 결과를 도출하였다. 또한, 도출된 경량설계안의 타당성을 검토하기 위하여 시작품을 제작하여 실제 내구시험을 수행하였다.

Sensitivity analysis of shoulder joint muscles by using the FEM model

  • Shoulder pain, injury and discomfort are public health and economic issues world-wide. The function of these joints and the stresses developed during their movement is a major concern to the orthopedic surgeon to study precisely the injury mechanisms and thereby analyze the post-operative progress of the injury. Shoulder is one of the most critical joints in the human anatomy with maximum degrees of freedom. It mainly consists of the clavicle, scapula and humerus; the articulations linking them; and the muscles that move them. In order to understand the behavior of individual muscle during abduction arm movement, an attempt has been made to analyze the stresses developed in the shoulder muscles during abduction arm movement during the full range of motion by using the 3D FEM model. 3D scanning (ATOS III scanner) is used for the 3D shoulder joint cad model generation in CATIA V5. Muscles are added and then exported to the ANSYS APDL solver for stress analysis. Sensitivity Analysis is done for stress and strain behavior amongst different shoulder muscles; deltoid, supraspinatus, teres minor, infraspinatus, and subscapularies during adduction arm movement. During the individual deltoid muscle analysis, the von Mises stresses induced in deltoid muscle was maximum (4.2175 MPa) and in group muscle analysis it was (2.4127MPa) compared to other individual four rotor cuff muscles. The study confirmed that deltoid muscle is more sensitive muscle for the abduction arm movement during individual and group muscle analysis. The present work provides in depth information to the researchers and orthopedicians for the better understanding about the shoulder mechanism and the most stressed muscle during the abduction arm movement at different ROM. So during rehabilitation, the orthopedicians should focus on strengthening the deltoid muscles at earliest.
