The history repeatedly shows that designers have sought their creative inspiration from fine arts. was also influenced by contemporary art such as surrealism or installment works. This thesis aims to examine the inter-relationship between contemporary art and contemporary furniture design with examples of organic modernism and minimalism furniture design. Also, will be analyzed in light of such interdisciplinary relationship, explaining the significances of in scholastic perspective. The previous research analysis of finding out examples of how fine art and design sought mutual exchanges to develop will help to examine the significance of in the context of art history. This analysis could be used as an important academic material to understand the origin and characteristics of modern design furniture. The features of surrealism and minimalism will be discussed in light of their influences on and interactive relationship with organic modernism furniture design. This provides important basic material to further analyze . Furthermore, the artistic language and plastic features of contemporary sculptors and installment artists such as Jean Arp, Richard Serra and Anish Kapoor will be examined to show how integrated and combined main features of those artists. extracted cognitive and phenomenological aspects from Serra's works that overwhelm viewers with their massive scales. Somewhat abstract yet somewhat primitive and dynamic features of Arp's works was also referred to . are made of FRP, composed of three partitions and six stools. This work was analyzed in aspect of form, composition and function. They have organic and flexible formations with free composition availability which endow free disassemble and arrangement. Also, they have cognitive features as of small elements are freely dispersed upon spaces to bestow certain presences. Based on this, this thesis could develop scholastic researches that examine the mutual and interactive relationship between contemporary art and furniture design with much more detailed discussions and examples.

본 연구에서는 NFT, 블록체인, 메타버스의 이론적 내용을 살펴보고, 현재 대중적 인지도가 높은 NFT 아트의 다양한 표현방식을 분석하였다. 사례연구 내용으로는 2D 그래픽, 3D 그래픽, 모션그래픽 작품을 오픈씨 전체랭킹 100개의 프로젝트를 분석하였다. 메타버스 공간과 NFT 기술은 디지털 아트 창작자뿐 아니라 기존의 예술작가 모두에게 새로운 공급과 수요의 시장을 만들어 줄 것이다. 가상 자산인 코인에 대한 관심과 거래가 증가함에 따라 NFT 시장에서의 디지털 아트의 거래 수요는 점차 늘어가고 있다. 이후 창작자들을 위하여 NFT 디지털 아트의 그래픽스타일을 2D그래픽, 3D그래픽, 2D 모션그래픽 3D 모션그래픽 4가지로 분류하여, 연구하였다. 추후 디지털아트 NFT 창작들에게 그래픽스타일의 방향성을 제시해 줄 수 있을 것이라 사료된다.

Since the 1980s the development of American art furniture was embodied its concept by second-generation furniture artists affected and educated from the first generation that has implanted art furniture fundamental values. Besides, embracing inevitably needs of the new era going with the social change rather than dwell on the nature of mere handicraft era, it has evolved with economic revival in the United States, the attention and increased consumption of the public, and ongoing government-sponsored. And more recently, the American contemporary Art Furniture faces another change in the non-boundary phenomena between art and design. American art furniture since the 1980s are summarized as three major trends: Art furniture embellished with traditional hand-craft, Art furniture featured the individualistic avant-guard characteristic, Art furniture eroded the distinction between art and design. By analyzing focusing on the furniture artists and their works in contemporary art furniture deployment aspects since the 1980s, the purpose of this study can be utilized as a method to measure the forward direction, internationally competitive, creativity, and artistic value of the domestic art furniture.

The purpose of the present study was to improve the artistic qualities in the future fashion design by investigating how the art to wear was applied to the inspiration in the modern fashion design in the late 1990s. For this purpose the present paper examined characteristics in art to wear and their impact on modern fashion design in the late 1990s. Distinguished from the traditional costume, art to wear disregarded a fixed concept on design elements such as the socio-cultural images, materials, and forms. The artists in art to wear freely expressed their "selves" and their individuality to their works in a variety of ways. In fashion design in the late 1990s the creative characteristics of art to wear were reflected in four ways: (1) eco-look, (2) humor, (3) deformation, (4) materials. The present study suggests that the creativity of the art to wear can establish the potentials and possibility in modern fashion design, and art to wear can be a crucial mediator in opening art into the real world.

The Institute of Contemporary Art has gathered, arranged and exchanged historical data and a variety of information of art. It also aims at Helping revitalize artistic activities and develop diverse areas of art among regions. This scheme for revitalization of art includes holding seminars, international exhibitions or regional exchange exhibitions, publishing papers, and enhancing art education. This paper provides a view of what the Institute of Contemporary Art at Kunsan University has done so far, pursues better ways for revitalization of artistic activities, and suggests a future-oriented approach for making the institute a place for regional exchange of modem art and design.

곤충의 발자국 패턴을 이용하여 곤충을 인식하고자 할 때에는 특징을 추출하기 위한 기본 단위의 영역을 추출할 필요가 있다. 이 논문에서는 기본 단위 영역의 추출을 위한 전 단계 처리 과정으로서 군집화 기법을 사용하였다. 인식의 대상이 되는 곤충들의 크기와 종류에 따라 남겨지는 발자국 패턴의 크기 및 간격이 다르게 나타난다. 따라서 이 논문에서는 패턴의 크기와 간격에 관계없이 인식의 기본 단위가 되는 영역을 추출할 수 있도록 하는 개선된 ART2 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 제안한 ART2 알고리즘에서는 군집화를 위한 임계값이 군집화의 대상이 되는 모든 패턴들의 거리를 축적한 그래프의 형태에 따라 자동으로 설정되도록 하였다. 제안한 기법으로 2 가지 종류의 곤충 발자국 패턴에 대하여 군집화를 실험한 결과 모두 바르게 군집화가 이루어짐을 알 수 있었다.

Compared to the influences of Korean art journalism, the researches on them are rarely conducted. This study aims to examine the influence of art journalism in art magazines in Korea. Although it is essential to consider media, journalism, public opinion altogether, I focused only on the media due to the absence of previous studies I have analyzed the current conditions of korean art journalism, types of feature articles, sponsors, their relations with articles and the comparison with foreign art journalism in terms of production conditions. There have been about one hundred art magazines published in previous sixty years and currently there are twenty three. Monthly periodicals are the majority: the publishers are sorted out as publishing houses, galleries, newspaper company in order specialized art magazines developed from the eighties. Through an examination of feature articles in these art magazines, I found that they repeated similar art issues and covered the same artists sponsors and articles. Moreover, when the magazines went through the conflicts between managers and editors, the ascendency of managers obstructed the development of art journalism regarding journal quality. These days, art journalism have been comparatively regressed compared to other art systems such as art museums, curatorship, international aft festivals, distributions and art promotion policies. The main causes for failure were the lack of professional management, the limited effort to diversify sponsors, and the repetition of the same informants and events without making an effort to be specialized Magazines are published media which contribute to the creation of culture, distribution, and preservation. Therefore art magazines can be said the most influential media in forming art culture and distributing it. It is quite necessary to reform the problems of repeating of information and the lack of speciality in conjunction with the commitment of management and editorialship.

This paper proposes a novel method for the recognition of passports based on the CDM(Conditional Dilation Morphology) masking and the ART2-based RBF neural networks. For the extraction of individual codes for recognizing, this paper targets code sequence blocks including individual codes by applying Sobel masking, horizontal smearing and a contour tracking algorithm on the passport image. Individual codes are recovered and extracted from the binarized areas by applying CDM masking and vertical smearing. This paper also proposes an ART2-based hybrid network that adapts the ART2 network for the middle layer. This network is applied to the recognition of individual codes. The experiment results showed that the proposed method has superior in performance in the recognition of passport.

오류 역전파 알고리즘의 문제점과 ART 신경회로망의 문제점을 개선하기 위해 Jacobs가 제안한 delta-bar-delta 방법과 신경회로망을 결합한 자가 생성 지도 학습 알고리듬을 제안한다. 입력층과 은닉층에서는 ART-1과 ART-2 알고리듬을 이용하고, winner-take-all 방식은 완전 연결 구조이나 연결된 가중치만을 조정하도록 채택하였다. 실험을 위해 학생증, 주민등록증, 컨테이너의 영상으로 추출한 패턴을 신경회로망의 은닉층 노드에 대해 실험하였고, 실험결과 제안된 자기 생성 지도 학습알고리듬이 지역최소화, 학습 속도, 정체 현상이 기존의 방법보다 성능이 개선된 것을 확인하였다.

이 연구에서는 드립페인팅(drip painting)으로 유명한 잭슨 폴록(Jackson Pollock)의 작품과 이와 흡사한 형식을 가진 한국 앵포르멜 작업 (Korean Informel art)들에 나타난 프랙탈 차원 (fractal dimension)에 대한 분석을 시도하였다. 구체적으로 폴록과 한국 작가들의 프랙탈 차원이 다를 것이라는 가설을 통계적으로 검정하기 위해 30개의 폴록 작품과 45개의 한국 작가들의 작품을 사용하였다. 그 결과 폴록에 비해 한국 작가들의 프랙탈 차원이 통계적으로 더 높은 것으로 나타났다. 이는 폴록에 비해 한국 작가들의 작품의 패턴이 (세밀한 척도에서) 보다 평면적이라 해석될 수도 있을 것이다.
