Development of Adsorptive Permeation Membrane (APM) and Process for Separation of $CO_2$ from gas mixtures (이산화탄소 분리를 위한 흡착투과막 및 공정 개발)

  • Adsorptive permeation hollow fiber membrane (APM) has been developed for effectively separating $CO_2$ from gas mixture. Inside the APM, zeolite 13X particles were uniformly dispersed without covering their surfaces by a symmetric porous structure of polypropylene lattice. In this study, $CO_2/N_2$ mixture was used as a simulated gas mixture. Separation was achieved by adsorbing $CO_2$ on the zeolite particles in the APM and then permeating $N_2$ into permeate side in passing all the feed gas through the APM. Adsorptive permeation tests were carried out with a set of APM modules, and the adsorptive permeation performances of the modules were analyzed from the test results. After saturation of the adsorbent with $CO_2$, the APM was regenerated by desorption of $CO_2$ from it through vacuuming both inside of outside of the APM hollow fiber, and the regeneration process of the APM by vacuuming was discussed in terms of regeneration efficiency and energy consumption.

한국증권시장(韓國證券市場)에서 다변량검증(多變量檢證)에 근거한 CAPM과 APM의 실증적(實證的) 검증(檢證)

  • 본(本) 연구(硏究)는 Jobson(1982)의 주식(株式)의 수익율(收益率)이 정규분포(正規分布)를 할 경우에 다변량(多變量)의 통계학(統計學)을 이용하여 CAPM과 APM을 검증(檢證)하는 방법(方法)을 유도하였다. 이에따라 회귀분석(回歸分析)에 의한 검증방법(檢證方法)과 다변량(多變量)의 검증방법(檢證方法)을 제시하고 현실적으로 CAPM과 APM이 한국증권시장(韓國證券市場)에서 적용가능(適用可能)한가에 대한 실증적(實證的) 검증(檢證)을 실시하였다. 실증적(實證的) 검증(檢證)을 위하여 먼저 우리나라의 주식수익율자료(株式收益率資料)를 1980년 1월부터 1997년 6월까지의 월별자료(月別資料)에 의하여 11개 산업별(産業別) 분류작업을 통하여 산업별(産業別)포트폴리오를 구성하였다. 특히 APM의 경우에는 요인(要因)의 증가에 따라 APM이 한국증권시장에서 적용가능한가를 검증(檢證)하기 위하여 요인(要因)을 2개, 6개 그리고 10개까지 증가시켜 모형(模型)의 적합성(適合性)을 검증(檢證)하였다. 검증결과(檢證結果), CAPM과 APM모두 한국증권시장(韓國證券市場)에서 적용가능(適用可能)한 것으로 나타났다. 특히 APM의 경우에는 요인(要因)이 2개, 6개와 10개로 증가시 어떤 경우에도 적용가능한 것으로 나타났다. 이는 기대수익율(期待收益率)의 설명력을 높이기 위하여 몇 개의 가격화(價格化) 요인(要因)이 APM에 영향을 미치는 가를 연구하는 전통적인 검증방법(檢證方法)은 큰 의미가 없는 것으로 나타났다.

  • Polyvoltine silkworm breeds/hybrids play an important role in tropical sericulture. In the process of synthesizing more potential polyvoltine hybrids(polyvoltine${\times}$bivoltine) of superior quantity and quality, the Andhra Pradesh State Sericulture Research and Development Institute (APSSRDI) has developed 8 promising polyvoltine breeding lines (SDMG2, APM16, APM15, APM14, APM5, RM2, APM3, APM13). In order to study their hybrid vigour and performance, these breeds were crossed with 4 potential bivoltine testers (SDD1, SDD2, SDD3, APS8), and 32 different hybrid combinations were prepared and evaluated for their mid parent heterosis (MPH) and better parent heterosis (BPH) of silk productivity. Since silk is the ultimate product required for commercial purpose, based on silk productivity and its heterosis, three superior polyvoltine hybrid combinations namely RM2${\times}$APS8 (24.3%), APM3${\times}$APS8 (12.4%) and APM15${\times}$SDD2 (10.8%) were adjudicated as potential heterotic hybrid combinations of superior silk yield and hence recommended for further large scale field trails and commercial exploitation.

CORRELATION FUNCTIONS OF THE APM CLUSTERS OF GALAXIES

  • We have found that the two-point correlation function of the APM clusters of galaxies has an amplitude much higher than that claimed by the APM group. As the richness limit increases from R = 53 to 80, the correlation length increases from 17.5 to 28.9 $h^{-1}Mpc$. This indicates that the richness dependence of the APM cluster correlation function is also much stronger than what the APM group has reported. The richness dependence can be represented by a fitting formula ro = 0.53dc + 0.01, which is consistent with the Bahcall's formula ro = 0.4dc. We have tried to find the possible reason for discrepancies. However, our estimates for the APM cluster correlation function are found to be robust against variation of the method of calculation and of sample definition.

  • Additive-pulse mode-locking (APM) was performed in a $1.053{\mu}m$ cw Nd:YLF laser by coupling a nonlinear external external cavity to the main cavity. The APM pulsewidth was 4.5 ps and the average output power was 1.5 W. This APM pulse was compressed by an optical fiber and a grating pair to be as short as 210 fs with a peak power of 17 kW.

  • This paper presents the usage of software package APM WinMachine for design of train car elements. APM software uses fur maximization of design productivity and efficiency in designing and evaluation machine elements and systems and CAD modeling. In process of machine designing needs make strength calculations of machine parts with complecated design. Will the help of APM software strength calculations can be done quickly. On the Demichovo machine-building plant with the use of APM software were made quickly and effectively strength calculations of the cradle of the suspension of air-conditioner of car train and the mounting brackets of a tank of train toilet.

  • This paper presents the usage of software package APM WinMachine for design of equipment and buildings far agricultural industries. APM WinMachine is used for engineering analysis and design of parts of machines for industry and civil engineering. In process of machine design strength calculation is reuired for optimum design. With the help of APM WinMachine software strength calculations can be done quickly and correctly. In this paper a successful case of application of APM WinMachine for design of agricultural machine is introduced.

  • For-${\alpha}$-APM was efficiently prepared by the reaction of For-Asp anhydride and Phe-OMe in methylethylketone, $CH_3CN$, and in water. The selective recovery of For-${\alpha}$-APM from the resulting For-${\alpha}$-APM and For-${\beta}$-APM mixture was possible via repetitive extraction at constant pH of 4.00. The oxidative deformylation was successfully performed by using several oxidants including $H_2_O2$/THF, sodium percarbonate, and $H_2_O2$/HCl/MeOH giving APM in high yields. The efficiency of the oxidative deformylation was raised in acidic condition for all the deformylation reactions.

  • The purpose of this study is to find the difference in APM. perfectionistic tendencies, and stress between the scientifically gifted and the regular students. As a result, The scientifically gifted students showed higher in APM score. The scientifically gifted students showed higher in perfectionistic tendencies but no significant differences was found. On the contrary, the regular students showed significantly higher in stress. This research analyzed the hypothesis that the gifted students would receive higher score in perfectionism and the stress.

  • To examine the potenital of APM as the sweetner of Kimchi, the change of APM (0.1%) added to Kimchi was monitore during the fermentation of Kimchi as $25^{\circ}C$. The content of APM added to Kimchi was ecreased to the extent of 20% after 20hrs by being decomposed into aspartylphenylalaine and phenylalanine. The decomposition degree of APM during the fermentation was only below 10% caused by the joint effects of lactic acid bacteria and pH and was disclosed as mainly led the reaction of enzymes contained in the raw chines cabbage. The decomposition of APM was inhibited by increasing the concentration of NaCl.
