Finite element analysis is very important in the design and analysis of mechanical engineering. The process of FEA encompasses shape modeling, mesh generation, matrix solving and post-processing. Some of these processes can be tightly integrated with the current software architectures and data sharing mode. However, complete integration of all the FEA process itself and the integration to the manufacturing processes is almost impossible in the current practice. The barriers to this problem are inconsistent data format and the enterprise-wise software integration technology. In this research, the information model based on STEP AP209 was chosen for handling finite element analysis data. The international standard for the FEA data can bridge the gap between design, analysis and manufacturing processes. The STEP-based FEA system can be further tightly integrated to the distributed software and database environment using CORBA technology. The prototype FEA system DICESS is implemented to verify the proposed concepts.

It is difficult to support collaborative design with a conventional ship CAD system which manages design information using files. In this research, file storage has been replaced with a database. This paper describes the OpenDIS which is an interface between the geometric kernel and the database. Its main purpose is to implement the CAD system which has the STEP database as the native storage. A prototype CAD system has been implemented using that OpenDIS interface which is implemented by OpenCascade geometric kernel and the Objectstore object-oriented database. The STEP methodology is used as the database schema. This CAD system has been applied to the hull design of a ship in order to verify the usefulness of the interface.
In this paper, we have presented the observational result for the photometric quality of main telescopes in Gimhae Astronomical Observatory. Also we performed the observation of searching new minor planets as competitive work in public observatories. The observation was carried out using 60cm telescope of Gimhae Astronomical Observatory on 2007 January 13. And, $Sch\ddot{u}ler$ BVI filters and 1K CCD camera (AP8p) were used. To define the quality of CCD photometry, we observed the region of well-known standard stars in the open cluster M67. From observed data, The transformation coefficients and airmass coefficients were obtained, and the accuracy of CCD photometry was investigated. From PSF photometry, we obtained the color-magnitude diagram of M67, and considered the useful magnitude limit and the physical properties of M67. This method can be successfully used to confirm the photometric quality of main telescope in public observatories. To investigate the detection possibility of unknown object as astroid, we observed the near area of the opposition in the ecliptic plane. And we discussed the result. Our result show that it can be possible to detect minor planets in solar system brighter than $V{\sim}18.3mag$. and it can carry out photometric study brighter than V 16mag. in Gimhae Astronomical Observatory. These results imply that the public observatories can make the research work.

Dysregulation of histone deacetylase 6 (HDAC6) can lead to the pathologic states and result in the development of various diseases including cancers and inflammatory diseases. The objective of this study was to elucidate the regulatory role of microRNA-22 (miR-22) in HDAC6-mediated expression of pro-inflammatory cytokines in lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-stimulated macrophages. LPS stimulation induced HDAC6 expression, but suppressed miR-22 expression in macrophages, suggesting possible correlation between HDAC6 and miR-22. Luciferase reporter assays revealed that 3'UTR of HDAC6 was a bona fide target site of miR-22. Transfection of miR-22 mimic significantly inhibited LPS-induced HDAC6 expression, while miR-22 inhibitor further increased LPS-induced HDAC6 expression. LPS-induced activation of NF-κB and AP-1 was inhibited by miR-22 mimic, but further increased by miR-22 inhibitor. LPS-induced expression of pro-inflammatory cytokines such as TNF-α, IL-1β, and IL-6 was inhibited by miR-22 mimic, but further increased by miR-22 inhibitor. Taken together, these data provide evidence that miR-22 can downregulate LPS-induced expression of pro-inflammatory cytokines via suppression of NF-κB and AP-1 axis by targeting HDAC6 in macrophages.
The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effects of bundle type (BT) and substitution with spent laying hen (SH) surimi on quality characteristics of imitation crabsticks made from Alaska Pollack (AP) during 6 wk of cold storage. Diagonally bundled samples had poorer gel characteristics and more lipid oxidation when compared with straight bundled ones (p<0.05). The color of diagonally bundled imitation crabsticks deteriorated with storage time (p<0.01). However, BT did not affect sensory characteristics (p>0.05). SH substitution had an effect on most quality characteristics of imitation crabsticks; darker and poorer gel characteristics were observed and its effect on sensory evaluation was seen at the initial storage. Thus, BT and SH substitution can be considered to have a slight effect on eating quality of imitation crabsticks, despite their negative effects on color, gel characteristics, and lipid oxidation.
Religion has originated with mankind has developed with mankind and the ap-pearance of Christianity has made a greater contribution to forming the basis of European civilization than any other event. In the Middle Ages in succession to the Roman Ages the foundation of society was so laid centering around Christianity that the garments of religion leaders had greatly affected clothes of the common people as well as political economy. In this view-point it has an educational significance to study vestment of the time when Christianity was prevailing value of society. Thefore this study has tried to examine Catholic ceremonial clothes revolving around the Middle Ages when Christianity had been propagated and it has treated of the clothes of Catholic to have produced a great effect on the culture of the Middle Ages, The method of this study was to inquire into the definition and history of Catholic clothes through the first data of the real-thing data from the museums and the sec-ond of the literature data and photo sam-ples that show the application of above said elements to modern fashion. Results are eight pieces of work: four pieces of Computer Simulation and four pieces of the real-thing production to represent the image found in Catholic ceremonial clothes. The results of the study are as follows. First it has been elicited to be able to satisfy the costume aeshtics that modern society requires introducing brilliance and esthetic elements for these patterns to have by applying the ones expressed in the cere-monial clothes. Second it has been found to be able to make a fashion design with the modern style supported by history by making a proper mixture of the simple silhouette and a luxurious decoration shown in Catholic ceremonial clothes. Third it has been presented to be able to serve in the worldly area if even a religious motive get out of in the area of a solemn image and it is applied to a modern fash-ion.

Mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) signaling pathways play a key role in innate immunity, inflammation, cell proliferation, cell differentiation, and cell death. The main objective of this study was to investigate the expression level of candidate MAPK pathway genes in the intestinal mucosal layer of two genetically disparate chicken lines (Marek's disease-resistant line 6.3 and Marek's disease-susceptible line 7.2) induced with necrotic enteritis (NE). Using high-throughput RNA sequencing, we investigated 178 MAPK signaling pathway related genes that were significantly and differentially expressed between the intestinal mucosal layers of the NE-afflicted and control chickens. In total, 15 MAPK pathway genes were further measured by quantitative real-time PCR(qRT-PCR) and the results were consistent with the RNA-sequencing data. All 178 identified genes were annotated through Gene Ontology and mapped onto the KEGG chicken MAPK signaling pathway. Several key genes of the MAPK pathway, ERK1/2, JNK1-3, p38 MAPK, MAP2K1-4, $NF-{\kappa}B1/2$, c-Fos, AP-1, Jun-D, and Jun, were differentially expressed in the two chicken lines. Therefore, we believe that RNA sequencing and qRT-PCR analysis provide resourceful information for future studies on MAPK signaling of genetically disparate chicken lines in response to pathogens.

Caffeoylserotonin (CaS), one derivative of serotonin (5-HT), is a secondary metabolite produced in pepper fruits with strong antioxidant activities. In this study, we investigated the effect of CaS on proliferation and migration of human keratinocyte HaCaT cells compared to that of 5-HT. CaS enhanced keratinocyte proliferation even under serum deficient condition. This effect of CaS was mediated by serotonin 2B receptor (5-HT2BR) related to the cell proliferation effect of 5-HT. We also confirmed that both CaS and 5-HT induced G1 progression via 5-HT2BR/ERK pathway in HaCaT cells. However, Akt pathway was additionally involved in upregulated expression levels of cyclin D1 and cyclin E induced by CaS by activating 5-HT2BR. Moreover, CaS and 5-HT induced cell migration in HaCaT cells via 5-HT2BR. However, 5-HT regulated cell migration only through ERK/AP-1/MMP9 pathway while additional Akt/NF-${\kappa}B$/MMP9 pathway was involved in the cell migration effect of CaS. These results suggest that CaS can enhance keratinocyte proliferation and migration. It might have potential as a reagent beneficial for wound closing and cell regeneration.
The object to this study is to identify the genus and species of the microfilariae which were recently found in the area of Youngju-Gun. THe identification of the microfilariae was made on the morphologicla aspects. 1. Blood samples were collected through vena punction from known microfilariae carriers living in the newly confirmed filaria endemic area of Youngju0Gun in Jyongsang Pukdo Province.
