A Literal Study about the Apoplexy Prognosis of Primary Factors and the Method of the Function Assessment (중풍의 예후 인자 및 기능 평가방법에 관한 문헌적 고찰)

  • Objectives and Method : In this study, I have investigated what kind of primary factors detennine the apoplexy prognosis, and the method of the function assessment about the apoplexy by inquiry into the literature on this subject Results and Conclusions : 1. The primary factors to have an effect upon the appoplexy are : the location of Pungsa; whether five organs ki is existent or not; pulse feeling; tongue condition; whether or not the patient produces stool or urine; for males, the left side; for females, the right side ; whether or not the patient sweats; consciousness; vital signs; and the region and size of disease and brain hernia. 2. MBI is often used because it is considered to be objective, simple, and highly reliable. But its absence of a legal recognition assessment is a major incongruence. 3. Inclusive and standard assessment are key points in the reinforecement by AM of legal recognition assessment, but it takes a lot of time and is not endowed with adding an extra weight and is vague to the division between the communication and social recognition grade. 4. AI is useful and easy to evaluate the mental ability, the capacity for locomotion and the daily activities inclusively.

Effects of Aromatherapy Program on Depression and Fatigue in Middle Aged Women (향기요법프로그램이 중년여성의 우울과 피로에 미치는 효과)

  • Purpose : he study was to examine the effects of aromatherapy program on depression and fatigue in middle aged women. Method : The study was a noneqivalent control group pretest-posttest design. After giving informed consent. Subjects were assigned to the aromatherapy program intervention or control groups. The subjects were given Zung's Self-Rating Scale test before the trial to evaluate their depression. Yoshitake's Fatigue Scale were used to measure the fatigue before and after the trial. Subjects in the experimental group received aromatherapy massage 3 times a week for 20 minutes during 2 weeks and inhaled essence oil from AM 10:00 to PM 8:00 every day for 2 weeks. Result : 1) The decrease in the depression score was statistically significant(p<.000). 2) The decrease in the fatigue score was statistically significant (p<.002). Conclusion : Aromatherapy program is an effective way to treat depression and fatigue in middle aged women. In particular, to compare with aromatherapy massage, inhaling essence oil appears to be a convenient method of offering support and maintaining optimal health in middle aged women.

  • 현재는 국토해양부의 "도로터널 방재시설 설치 지침"에 따라 1종 도로 터널 내 아날로그 AM/FM 라디오 재난방송시스템이 설치되어 운영 중이나 T-DMB의 경우 관련 시스템이 개발이 되어 있지 않았다. T-DMB는 개인용, 휴대용, 이동형의 디지털방송매체로서의 특징을 가지고 있으며 최근들어 수신기 보급 증가로 새로운 재난방송 매체로 부상하고 있는 현실을 감안하면 터널 및 지하공간에서 T-DMB 방송망과 수신기를 활용한 국지적 재난방송 기술 개발은 매우 필요하다. 이에 본 논문은 기존 T-DMB 방송서비스 권역 내에서 터널 및 지하공간 등 T-DMB 수신환경이 열악한 지역에서 평상시에는 T-DMB 방송을 중계하여 수신환경을 개선하고 재난발생 시에는 기존 T-DMB 단말기로 수신 가능하며 각 재난상황에 맞는 맞춤형 재난경보방송을 송신하는 T-DMB 재난방송시스템 및 관련기술을 소개한다.

A Study on Photosynthesis and Nitrogen Assimilation in Cactus -Portulaca oleracea L.- (Cactus의 광합성과 질소동화작용에 관한 연구 - 한국산 쇠비름(Portulaca oleracea L.) -)

  • Crassulacean acid metaholism (CAM) was investigated in leaves and stems of the succulent $C_4$dicot Portulaca oleracea L. Under 14-hour days, stem tissues showed much greater fluctuation of acidity than leaf tissues. But leaf and stem tissues showed almost same CAM-like pattern of acid fluctuation under 8-hour days. Stem tissues of R oleracea grown under the naturai environment showed high CAM activity, but no CAM activity was seen in leaves of those plants. In the naturally growing plants, the rapid acidification was seen in intact stems at dawn, but defoliated stems showed only a gradual increase. RuBP carlboxylase activity was very high at 2:00 P.M. in both leaves and stems. However, its activity at 1:00 A.M. and 5:30 AM. was hardly detected. particularly, activity of PEP carboxylase in leaves was very high in the early morning, though that in stem tissues was little. These results indicate that $CO_2$ passed through open stomata at dawn may be assimilated by PEP carboxylase in leaves, and then $C_4$ products move to stems. The levels of nitrate concentration and of nitrate reductase were higher in stems than in leaves. The levels were also higher in the light than in the dark. It would be suggested that considerable amount of nitrate absorbed from roots ho assimilated in stems, and nitrate transferred to leaves via stem tissues be reduced there. Effects of Extacellular Divalent Cations on the Hyperpolarization-activated Currents in Rat Dorsal Root Ganglion Neurons (세포 밖 2가 양이온이 과분극에 의해 활성화되는 전류($I_h$)에 미치는 영향)

  • The hyperpolarization-activated current ($I_h$) is an inward cation current activated by hyperpolarization of the membrane potential and plays a role as an important modulator of action potential firing frequency in many excitable cells. In the present study we investigated the effects of extracellular divalent cations on $I_h$ in dorsal root ganglion (DRG) neurons using whole-cell voltage clamp technique. $I_h$ was slightly increased in $Ca^{2+}$-free bath solution. BAPTA-AM did not change the amplitudes of $I_h$. Amplitudes of $I_h$ were decreased by $Ca^{2+}$, $Mg^{2+}$ and $Ba^{2+}$ dose-dependently and voltage-independently. Inhibition magnitudes of $I_h$ by external divalent cations were partly reversed by the concomitant increase of extracellular $K^+$ concentration. Reversal potential of $I_h$ was significantly shifted by $Ba^{2+}$ and $V_{1/2}$ was significantly affected by the changes of extracellular $Ca^{2+}$ concentrations. These results suggest that $I_h$ is inhibited by extracellular divalent cations ($Ca^{2+}$, $Mg^{2+}$ and $Ba^{2+}$) by interfering ion influxes in cultured rat DRG neurons.

A subjective symptom on indoor air quality in dental hygienist (치과위생사의 실내공기질에 의한 자각증상 특성)

  • This research is based on self-filling survey which 220 dental hygienists who work in seoul participated on July 2006 through August 2006. This survey was analyzed the experience item and occurred time of the symptoms and the time of acute and vanish of the symptoms that dental office's working environment effects on physical subjective symptom. We suggest a plan to minimizing physical subjective symptom for health manage of dental hygienist. We found out the fact that dental hygienists were unsatisfied with hospital air condition and this polluted air condition cause them physical subjective symptom in work place. As follows analyzed results ventilation time is below the 3-times a day, this may be have some trouble in indoor air quality. The experience the symptoms level is higher then non-experience level in "Fatigue and sleepiness", "Dorsalgia, omarthralgia, cervicodynia", "Hypersensitivity", "Dry eye, itch, smarting", "Headaches" and a subjective symptom is occurred at after 11:00(am) more then 60%, 50% of the dental hygienist. This experience the symptom' pain is vanished after the work and reduced when go out the office and building, respectively. The ratio of the experience the symptoms and starting time the symptoms is anywhere from 12 noon to 4 pm (73.2%) in a day. The time of acute pain the symptoms is anywhere from 12 noon to 4 pm (78.7%) refer to the individual characteristics and work environment.

Synthesis of Novel Quinacridone Dyes and Their Photovoltaic Performances in Organic Dye-sensitized Solar Cells

  • Two novel quinacridone (QNC) dyes with thiophene or benzene-conjugated bridge and cyanoacrylic acid acceptor were first designed and synthesized for use in dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs). The absorption spectra, electrochemical and photovoltaic properties of these dyes were investigated. Under simulated AM 1.5G irradiation conditions, the solar cell based on the quinacridone dye containing thiophene as a bridge unit had a short-circuit photocurrent density of 8.51 $mA{\cdot}cm^{-2}$, an open-circuit voltage of 643.6 mV, and a fill factor of 0.70, corresponding to an overall conversion efficiency of 3.86%.

Effect of Buried Contact on the Epitaxial Base Silicon Solar Cell (에피텍셜 베이스 실리콘 태양전지에서 Buried Contact 효과)

  • The new epitaxial base cell as a high efficiency Si solar cell was fabricated and the effect of buried contact on the cell characteristics was investigated. In our experiments, the cell with buried contact showed the open circuit voltage of 0.62 V, the short circuit current of 40 mA, the fill factor of 0.7, and the efficiency of 10% under the incident light of AM-1 100 ㎽/$\textrm{cm}^2$. The insertion of buried contact in the epitaxial base structure brought the fabricated cell to the efficiency improvement of about 33%. The cell proposed in this paper has the structural superiority in the fabrication of high efficiency solar cell due to the carrier drift transport in the optical absorption region and the formation of back surface field by $p^{-}$ $p^{+}$ epitaxial base, and the reduction of emitter series resistance by n+ buried contact.

The Study on the Spatial Characteristics of the Newly-built Hanok in Seoul by Planar Configuration according to Area (서울시 신축한옥의 면적별 평면구성에 따른 공간적 특징에 관한 연구)

  • According to the relation of the attribution of residents, we analyzed the spatial characteristics of newly-built Hanok in Bukchon focused on a spatial area-ratio, the number of rooms, L/D/K configuration. The results are as follows: 1) Have increased the number of residents, the family members are also increased. In this study, the major formed case is 3 residents and two-generation family. 2) In the most cases, R area-ratio is the highest, next to L/D/K integrated area-ratio. While the examples that the L/D/K integrated area-ratio is lower than R area-ratio, or is also higher than R area-ratio are appeared. These examples can present that it has a tendency to secure the necessary room depending on the attribution of residents. 3) L/D/K is classified into four types of connection. And the characteristics depending on the number of rooms are as follows. L+DK is the most common type, next to LDK>LD+K>L+D+K. And L+DK is widely distributed in each sized area. And particularly, it is appeared mostly in 3R.

  • TWTA is to perform the function that amplifies the input RF signal and outputs it to the antenna. This paper proposes a method that is to improve the cathode ripple or the SHF TWTA for satellite communications. Through the embodiment and experiment of 600W SHF TWTA, this method satisfies the design specifications. Also, RF performance is improved by reducing the noise of auxiliary power sources supplied to the RF part and eliminating the unexpected noise. Therefore, this method is very effective and can be used to develop the similar equipments.
