Broadcasting is one of the most important communication primitives used in multiprocessor networks. In this letter, we demonstrate that the broadcasting algorithm proposed by Madabhushi and others is incorrect. We introduce efficient one-to-all broadcasting schemes of even networks for one-port and all-port models. The broadcasting time of the one-port model is 2d-3 and that of the all-port model is d-1. The total time steps taken by the proposed algorithms are optimal.

A new kind of 'All Ceramic Crown' could be manufactured by making improvements in the manufacturing technique for the current 'All Ceramic Crown' which does not use a special ceramic but rather a general one as a substitute. If we use the manufacturing technique for the 'All Ceramic Crown', metal coping and core are not produced. The effects of the new manufacturing technique for the 'All Ceramic Crown' are as follows: First. We do not need to use new material or special machinery or tools. Second. We can use general machinery and tools. Third. Using the basic 'All Ceramic Technique', we anticipate improvement in learning in our students. Forth. We can save effort, materials and time. Fifth. The technique also has advantages for esthetic 'temporary crown'.

All-optical signal processing is expected to offer advantages in speed and power consumption against over electronics signal processing. It has a potential to solve the bottleneck issues of ultra-high speed communication network nodes. All-optical serial-to-parallel and parallel-to-serial data converters would make it possible to easily process the serial data information of a high-speed optical packet without optical-to-electronic-to-optical data conversion. In this paper, we explain the principle of simple and easily expandable all-optical serial-to-parallel and parallel-to-serial data converters based on Mach-Zehnder interferometers. We experimentally demonstrate these data converters at 10Gbit/s serial data rate. They are useful all-optical devices for the all-optical implementations of label decoding, self-routing, control of variable packets, bit-wise logical operation, and data format conversion.

In 1911, Dubouis determined all positive integers represented by sums of k nonvanishing squares for all k ≥ 4. As a generalization, Y.-S. Ji, M.-H. Kim and B.-K. Oh determined all positive definite binary quadratic forms represented by sums of k nonvanishing squares for all k ≥ 5. In this article, we give a simple proof for Ji-Kim-Oh's theorem for all k ≥ 10.

본 논문은 JPEG 포맷을 확장하여 여러 장의 사진과 오디오, 텍스트 등 다양한 미디어를 담을 수 있는 새로운 JPEG 포맷, All-in-JPEG을 제안한다. All-in-JPEG는 기존 JPEG 파일에 이미지, 오디오, 텍스트를 추가 저장하고, APP3 세그먼트를 활용하여 메타 정보를 저장한다. All-in-JPEG을 사용하면, 스마트폰 사용자들이 연속 촬영한 많은 사진을 한 개의 파일에 저장할 수 있고, 연사된 사진들을 다른 사람과 공유하는 것도 매우 편리하다. 또한 사진 촬영 당시의 짧은 오디오를 함께 저장하거나 사진의 일부분을 움직이는 사진 등 생동감 있는 사진을 만들기 쉽다. 뿐만 아니라, 한 장의 All-in-JPEG 파일 속에 이미지와 음성, 그리고 일기 텍스트를 모두 저장하는 사진 일기 앱 등 다양한 응용에 활용할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 All-in-JPEG 파일을 생성 편집하는 앱과 사진 일기 앱, 매직 사진 기능을 개발하여 All-in-JPEG의 실현 가능성을 검증하였다.

방사선치료를 받은 상악에 임플란트 지지 고정성 보철물을 이용하여 수복하는 것은 골치유능력이 낮기 때문에 상세한 치료계획이 필요하다. All-on-4 개념에 의한 임플란트 식립은 골이식을 피하면서 임플란트를 매식할 수 있어 유리하다. 일반적으로 경사된 임플란트에는 기성 경사형 지대주를 사용해왔다. 본 임상증례에서는 computer-aided design and computer-aided manufacturing (CAD/CAM)으로 제작된 지대주를 사용하였다. 본 증례는 all-on-4 개념에 의해 임플란트를 매식하고 CAD/CAM titanium 지대주를 제작한 다음 CAD/CAM zirconia 고정성 보철물로 수복하여 좋은 결과를 얻었기에 보고하고자 한다.

A diverse range of products are currently being sold; however, it is very difficult to purchase All-in-One patterns that reflect the body types of the elderly stage in the open market. This study is to develop specialized All-in-One patterns by assessing obese body types characteristics of the elderly social class. Five healthy women with typical obese body types in the elderly stage with busts, waists, and hips surpassing 100 cm were chose as test subjects. The three subjects for the wearing experiment are those with more than one year of experience wearing a bodysuit. A self-evaluation was made three times by looking in the mirror. The data from this study was processed to find averages and deviations; in addition, and a t-test was performed using the SPSS 24 statistical software. A total of 13 body parts were measured prior to and while wearing the specialized All-in-One patterns. Significant results were obtained from all 12 items. All-in-One for research appears to have produced a high level of satisfaction for subjects. This study can provide basic data on elevating the levels of satisfaction of the consumers in their elderly stages with special body types that deviate from standard body types at the time of wearing garments as well as for inner-wear companies to graft this market as a high-value-added niche market.

Previous genome-wide association studies (GWAS) have implicated several single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) in the AT-rich interactive domain 5B (ARID5B) gene with childhood acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). However, replicated studies reported some inconsistent results in different populations. Using meta-analysis, we here aimed to clarify the nature of the genetic risks contributed by the two polymorphisms (rs10994982, rs7089424) for developing childhood ALL. Through searches of PubMed, EMBASE, and manually searching relevant references, a total of 14 articles with 16 independent studies were included. Odds ratios (ORs) with 95% confidence intervals (95%CI) were calculated to assess the associations. Both SNPs rs10994982 and rs7089424 showed significant associations with childhood ALL risk in all genetic models after Bonferroni correction. Furthermore, subtype analyses of B-lineage ALL provided strong evidence that SNP rs10994982 is highly associated with the risk of developing B-hyperdiploid ALL. These results indicate that SNPs rs10994982 and rs7089424 are indeed significantly associated with increased risk of childhood ALL.
