Proposal for AI Video Interview Using Image Data Analysis

  • In this paper, the necessity of AI video interview arises when conducting an interview for acquisition of excellent talent in a non-face-to-face situation due to similar situations such as Covid-19. As a matter to be supplemented in general AI interviews, it is difficult to evaluate the reliability and qualitative factors. In addition, the AI interview is conducted not in a two-way Q&A, rather in a one-sided Q&A process. This paper intends to fuse the advantages of existing AI interviews and video interviews. When conducting an interview using AI image analysis technology, it supplements subjective information that evaluates interview management and provides quantitative analysis data and HR expert data. In this paper, image-based multi-modal AI image analysis technology, bioanalysis-based HR analysis technology, and web RTC-based P2P image communication technology are applied. The goal of applying this technology is to propose a method in which biological analysis results (gaze, posture, voice, gesture, landmark) and HR information (opinions or features based on user propensity) can be processed on a single screen to select the right person for the hire.

  • 본 연구는 린 스타트업 환경 내에서 생성형 AI를 활용한 심층 인터뷰의 효율적인 활용 방안을 탐구한다. 최근 기술적 진보에 따라 다양한 조직에서 생성형 AI를 활용하여 업무 생산성을 증진시키는 사례가 증가하고 있으며, 이는 린 스타트업 환경에서도 적용되고 있다. 본 연구는 린 스타트업에서 비교적 부족한 시간과 한정된 자본내에서도 실무자들이 AI를 활용하여 심층 인터뷰를 수행할 수 있도록 돕기 위해 구체적인 가이드라인과 가이드북을 개발했다. 제안된 가이드북은 실무자들이 신속하게 인터뷰를 설계하고 진행할 수 있도록 지원함으로써, 린 스타트업의 민첩하고 유연한 작업 환경을 촉진하는 것을 목표로 한다. 본 연구는 또한 ChatGPT 4, 뤼튼 등과 같은 텍스트 기반 생성형 AI 서비스를 디자인 및 인터뷰 분야에 활용하는 실무적 방법을 탐구하며, 이를 통해 학술적 논의와 실무적 적용의 기여를 하는 데에 의의가 있다.

  • 이 연구는 인공지능(AI)을 인적 자원 관리에 활용하는 것의 윤리적 및 법적 함의, 특히 채용 과정에서 AI 인터뷰에 초점을 맞추어 조사합니다. 추론, 학습, 적응과 같은 인간 지능과 관련된 작업을 수행할 수 있는 컴퓨터 프로그램의 능력으로 정의되는 AI는 점점 더 HR 관행에 통합되고 있습니다. AI가 주도하는 인터뷰를 통해 채용에 AI를 배치하면 효율성과 객관성을 약속하지만, 동시에 중요한 윤리적 및 법적 문제도 제기됩니다. 이러한 문제에는 AI 알고리즘의 잠재적 편향, AI 의사 결정 과정의 투명성, 데이터 프라이버시 문제, 기존 노동법 및 규정 준수 등이 포함됩니다. 이 논문은 사례 연구를 분석하고 관련 문헌을 검토함으로써 이러한 과제에 대한 포괄적인 이해를 제공하고 AI 기반 HR 관행에서 윤리적 및 법적 준수를 보장하기 위한 권장 사항을 제시하는 것을 목표로 합니다. 연구 결과는 AI가 채용 효율성을 향상시킬 수 있지만, 위험을 완화하고 공정하고 투명한 채용 관행을 보장하기 위해 견고한 윤리 지침과 법적 프레임워크를 마련하는 것이 필수적임을 시사합니다.

패션 제조 기업의 디지털 트랜스포메이션을 위한 인공지능 솔루션 개발 및 활용 현황 (Current Status of Development and Practice of Artificial Intelligence Solutions for Digital Transformation of Fashion Manufacturers)

  • Rapid development of information and communication technology is leading the digital transformation (hereinafter, DT) of various industries. At this point in rapid online transition, fashion manufacturers operating offline-oriented businesses have become highly interested in DT and artificial intelligence (hereinafter AI), which leads DT. The purpose of this study is to examine the development status and application case of AI-based digital technology developed for the fashion industry, and to examine the DT stage and AI application status of domestic fashion manufacturers. Hence, in-depth interviews were conducted with five domestic IT companies developing AI technology for the fashion industry and six domestic fashion manufacturers applying AI technology. After analyzing interviews, study results were as follows: The seven major AI technologies leading the DT of the fashion industry were fashion image recognition, trend analysis, prediction & visualization, automated fashion design generation, demand forecast & optimizing inventory, optimizing logistics, curation, and ad-tech. It was found that domestic fashion manufacturers were striving for innovative changes through DT although the DT stage varied from company to company. This study is of academic significance as it organized technologies specialized in fashion business by analyzing AI-based digitization element technologies that lead DT in the fashion industry. It is also expected to serve as basic study when DT and AI technology development are applied to the fashion field so that traditional domestic fashion manufacturers showing low growth can rise again.

생성형 AI에 대한 아동들의 인식 연구 : 유형과 속성 분류를 중심으로 (Children's Perception of Generative AI : Focusing on Type and Attribute Classification)

  • 아동 사용자를 대상으로 한 생성형 AI 기반 교육 콘텐츠와 서비스가 급증함에 따라 생성형 AI에 대한 아동의 인식과 관련된 연구의 필요성이 증가하고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 아동이 인식하는 생성형 AI의 유형 분류, 인지적, 행동적, 감정적 속성 부여 여부를 파악하고자 하였다. 이를 파악하기 위해 아동들과 함께 생성형 AI를 이용해 동화책을 생성해보는 워크샵을 진행하고, 반구조화 인터뷰와 그림 그리기를 통한 응답을 수집하였다. 그 결과 아동들은 생성형 AI를 인지적 수준이 높은 인공물로 여겼지만, 생성형 AI를 통해 창작되는 결과물에 의존한 유형 분류의 모습을 보였다.

AI 비서에 대한 직무 종사자와 관리자의 인식 유형 연구 (Study on the Perception of Workers and Supervisors about AI Assistants)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the perception about AI assistants and the differences between two groups, workers(secretaries) and supervisors(bosses), using the Q-methodology which has an advantage in understanding the types of subjective perceptions. Through literature reviews and interviews, 34 Q-samples were extracted, and then Q-sorting was conducted by P-samples(20 workers and 15 supervisors). As a result of Q-sorting, the types and characteristics of AI assistants perceived by each P-sample were explained. The perception of the workers divided into five distinct types, and the perception of the supervisors was divided into three distinct types. The most crucial factors in distinguishing between workers and supervisors' perceptions depend on whether they are capable of performing certain tasks and whether they can replace existing secretarial jobs. This study, as the primary research on AI assistants, can help to redefine the work that can be replaced by AI and the work that only people can do, and thus to establish education, recruitment, and training plans.

Perceptions of preservice teachers on AI chatbots in English education

  • With recent scientific advances and growing interest in AI technologies, AI-based chatbots have been viewed as a practical learning aid for English language development. The purpose of this study is to examine preservice teachers' perceptions on the potential benefits of employing AI chatbots in English instruction and its pedagogical aspects. 28 preservice teachers majoring in English education were asked to use Kuki chatbots for a week with a guidance of a researcher and then report on their perceptions of AI chatbots in terms of perceived usefulness after use, applicability, and educational benefits and drawbacks. Emerging codes and themes were identified and evaluated using Thematic Analysis(TA) based on qualitative data from surveys and interviews. The findings show that six emerging themes were identified, encompassing perspectives on teacher, learner, communication, linguistic, affective, and assessment. The overall findings of this study revealed that AI-based chatbots can play a significant role as learning tools for stimulating interactive communication in a target language. Most preservice primary teachers acknowledge that AI chatbots can be useful as teaching and learning aids for both teachers and students. Furthermore, when applying various learner data to chatbot technology, such as learner assessment and diagnosis, a guided approach is necessary to perform a conversation appropriate for the learner's level and characteristics. Finally, as chatbots have a variety of benefits in terms of affective aspects, they may improve EFL learners' confidence in speaking English and learning motivation.

기업의 윤리적 인공지능 기반 서비스 개발을 위한 정책수단 연구: AHP를 활용한 탐색적 분석 (A Study on Policy Instrument for the Development of Ethical AI-based Services for Enterprises: An Exploratory Analysis Using AHP)

  • Despite the growing interest and normative discussions on AI ethics, there is a lack of discussion on policy instruments that are necessary for companies to develop AI-based services in compliance with ethical principles. Thus, the purpose of this study is to explore policy instruments that can encourage companies to voluntarily comply with and adopt AI ethical standards and self-checklists. The study reviews previous research and similar cases on AI ethics, conducts interviews with AI-related companies, and analyzes the data using AHP to derive action plans. In terms of desirability and feasibility, Research findings show that policy instruments that induce companies to ethically develop AI-based services should be prioritized, while regulatory instruments require a cautious approach. It was also found that a consulting support policy consisting of experts in various fields who can support the use of AI ethics, and support for the development of solutions that adhere to AI ethical standards are necessary as incentive policies. Additionally, the participation and agreement of various stakeholders in the process of establishing AI ethical standards are crucial, and policy instruments need to be continuously supplemented through implementation and feedback. This study is significant as it presents the necessary policy instruments for companies to develop ethical AI-based services through an analytical methodology, moving beyond discursive discussions on AI ethical principles. Further analysis on the effectiveness of policy instruments linked to AI ethical principles is necessary for establishing ethical AI-based service development.

Application of AI-based Customer Segmentation in the Insurance Industry

  • Artificial intelligence or big data technologies can benefit finance companies such as those in the insurance sector. With artificial intelligence, companies can develop better customer segmentation methods and eventually improve the quality of customer relationship management. However, the application of AI-based customer segmentation in the insurance industry seems to have been unsuccessful. Findings from our interviews with sales agents and customer service managers indicate that current customer segmentation in the Korean insurance company relies upon individual agents' heuristic decisions rather than a generalizable data-based method. We propose guidelines for AI-based customer segmentation for the insurance industry, based on the CRISP-DM standard data mining project framework. Our proposed guideline provides new insights for studies on AI-based technology implementation and has practical implications for companies that deploy algorithm-based customer relationship management systems.

인공지능 기반 한국어 시 생성 시스템 개발 연구 (A Study on Korean Poetry Generation System Based on Artificial Intelligence)

  • 본 연구에서는 한국어 기반의 시를 창작하는 데 도움이 되는 문장들을 생성하는 인공지능을 개발하였다. 인공지능이 인간의 고유의 영역이라고 할 수 있는 창작에 대한 욕망과 창의력을 대신하는 것이 아니라, 인간이 창의력을 효율적으로 사용할 수 있도록, 창작에 밑바탕이 되는 문장들을 생성하는데 초점을 맞추었다. 시인들과의 인터뷰를 통해서 8개의 다른 데이터 세트로부터 문장을 학습하여 8가지 장르의 시가 생성될 수 있도록 만들었다. 이 연구는 한국어를 활용한 문학 작품 생성 기술을 개발하였다는 점에서 차별성이 있으며, 이 연구를 확장해서 수필과 산문 또는 소설과 같은 다양한 형태의 문학 작품을 창작하는 데 도움이 될 수 있다는 점에서 큰 의미가 있다.
