의학 교육에서 인공지능의 응용: 임상의학 교육을 위한 ChatGPT의 활용을 중심으로 (Application of artificial intelligence in medical education: focus on the application of ChatGPT for clinical medical education)

  • This study explores the potential use of artificial intelligence (AI)-based services, specifically ChatGPT-3.5, in medical education. The application of this technology is acknowledged as a valuable tool for simulating authentic clinical scenarios and enhancing learners' diagnostic and communication skills. To construct a case, students received ChatGPT training using a clinical ethics casebook titled "Clinical Ethics Cases and Commentaries for Medical Students and Physicians." Subsequently, a role-play script was generated based on this training. The initial draft of the script was reviewed by two medical professors and was further optimized using ChatGPT-3.5. Consequently, a comprehensive role-play script, accurately reflecting real-world clinical situations, was successfully developed. This study demonstrates the potential for effectively integrating AI technology into medical education and provides a solution to overcome limitations in developing role-play scripts within conventional educational settings. However, the study acknowledges that AI cannot always generate flawless role-play scripts and recognizes the necessity of addressing these limitations and ethical concerns. The research explores both the potential and limitations of employing AI in the early stages of medical education, suggesting that future studies should focus on overcoming these limitations while further investigating the potential applications of AI in this field.

Pre-service Teachers' Education Needs for AI-Based Education Competency

  • This study aims to analyze the perceptions and educational needs of pre-service teachers for the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in education. To this end, we collected survey data from 25 undergraduate students who were enrolled in a teacher education college in Seoul. The purpose of the survey was to measure the importance and current performance for instructional AI use based on the technological, pedagogical, and content knowledge (TPACK) framework, and to explore the priority of educational needs using Borich's needs analysis and the Locus for Focus model. The results of the study confirmed that Ethics and TPK competencies are prioritized. Additionally, the results indicated a high demand for practical knowledge that can be implemented in the practice of education. Based on the results, it is necessary to develop a teacher education program that focuses on ethical aspects and teaching strategy competencies in AI-based education.

Natural Selection in Artificial Intelligence: Exploring Consequences and the Imperative for Safety Regulations

  • In the paper of 'Natural Selection Favors AIs over Humans,' Dan Hendrycks applies principles of Darwinian evolution to forecast potential trajectories of AI development. He proposes that competitive pressures within corporate and military realms could lead to AI replacing human roles and exhibiting self-interested behaviors. However, such claims carry the risk of oversimplifying the complex issues of competition and natural selection without clear criteria for judging whether AI is selfish or altruistic, necessitating a more in-depth analysis and critique. Other studies, such as ''The Threat of AI and Our Response: The AI Charter of Ethics in South Korea,' offer diverse opinions on the natural selection of artificial intelligence, examining major threats that may arise from AI, including AI's value judgment and malicious use, and emphasizing the need for immediate discussions on social solutions. Such contemplation is not merely a technical issue but also significant from an ethical standpoint, requiring thoughtful consideration of how the development of AI harmonizes with human welfare and values. It is also essential to emphasize the importance of cooperation between artificial intelligence and humans. Hendrycks's work, while speculative, is supported by historical observations of inevitable evolution given the right conditions, and it prompts deep contemplation of these issues, setting the stage for future research focused on AI safety, regulation, and ethical considerations.

인공지능 리터러시 신장을 위한 인공지능 사고 기반 교육 프로그램 개발 및 효과 (Development and Effectiveness of an AI Thinking-based Education Program for Enhancing AI Literacy)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop the Artificial Intelligence thinking-based education program for improving AI literacy and verify its effectiveness for beginner. This program consists of 17 sessions, was designed according to the "ABCDE" model and is a project-based program. This program was conducted on 51 first-year middle school students and 36 respondents excluding missing values were analyzed in R language. The effect of this program on ethics, understanding, social competency, execution plan, data literacy, and problem solving of AI literacy is statistically significant and has very large practical significance. According to the result of this study, this program provided learners experiencing Artificial Intelligence education for the first time with Artificial Intelligence concepts and principles, collection and analysis of information, and problem-solving processes through application in real life, and served as an opportunity to enhance AI literacy. In addition, education program to enhance AI literacy should be designed based on AI thinking.

The Direction of AI Classes using AI Education Platform

  • 본 연구는 AI 플랫폼을 활용한 인공지능 수업에서 효과적인 내용과 방법을 제시하고자 하였다. 먼저, AI교육 플랫폼을 활용한 인공지능 수업의 각 단계별 내용 요소를 전문가로부터 추출하였다. 5개 단계에서 25개의 수업 요소를 선정하였고 AI플랫폼의 활용 단계에서 가르쳐야 할 내용에 대해 82명의 교사들을 대상으로 인식과 함께 수업 단계별 중요 요소를 설문으로 분석하였다. AI모델 준비 단계에서는 AI 모델의 학습 단계의 이해, 문제 인식과 정의 단계에서는 문제의 파악과 AI 해결 가능성, 데이터 수집과 전처리 단계에서는 데이터의 종류의 이해, AI모델링과 분석 단계에서는 AI가치 내용 요소가 나타났으며 문제해결과 활용 단계에서는 완성된 AI모델의 실생활 활용을 중요하게 보았다.

  • As the era of ChatGPT and generative AI technologies unfolds, the marketing industry stands on the precipice of a paradigm shift. Innovations such as GPT-4, DALL-E 2, and Mid-journey Stable Diffusion possess the capacity to dramatically transform the methods by which advertisers reach and engage with customers. The potential applications of these advanced tools herald a new age for the marketing and advertising sectors, offering unprecedented opportunities for growth and optimization. Nevertheless, the rapid adoption of generative AI within these industries presents a unique set of challenges, particularly for organizations that lack the necessary technological infrastructure and human capital to effectively leverage these innovations. As a result, a competitive crisis may emerge, exacerbating existing disparities between well-equipped enterprises and their less technologically adept counterparts. In this article, we undertake a comprehensive exploration of the implications of generative AI for the future of marketing, examining both its potential benefits and drawbacks. We consider the possible impact of these developments on the advertising and marketing industries at large, as well as the ways in which professionals operating within these fields may need to adapt to remain competitive in an increasingly AI-driven landscape. By providing a holistic overview of the challenges and opportunities associated with generative AI, this study aims to elucidate the complex dynamics at play in the ongoing evolution of the marketing and advertising sectors.

디지털 윤리와 UX를 반영한 메타버스 R&D 추진전략 (Metaverse R&D Promotion Strategy Reflecting Digital Ethics and UX)

  • 메타버스는 가상과 현실이 연결된 디지털 사회에서 사회·문화·경제 활동을 하며 다양한 가치를 생산할 수 있는 시뮬레이션 환경을 제공한다. 본 논문에서는 메타버스 서비스와 산업 현황을 분석하고 서비스 플랫폼 구현 기술들을 살펴봄으로써 그 발전 방향을 예측해 본다. 그리고, 지속가능한 메타버스를 구성하기 위한 메타버스 윤리(Metaverse Ethics)와 사용자들의 서비스 참여를 높이기 위한 메타버스 사용자경험(UX)에 대해서도 논의한다. 마지막으로, 기술 경쟁력 확보를 위해 디지털 윤리와 UX가 반영된 메타버스 R&D 추진전략을 제시한다.

An Analysis of Artificial Intelligence Education Research Trends Based on Topic Modeling

  • 본 연구의 목적은 국내 인공지능 교육의 최근 연구 동향을 분석하여 향후 인공지능 교육의 방향성을 모색하는 것이다. 2016년부터 2023년 11월까지 RISS(Research Information Sharing Service)에 게재된 논문 중 인공지능 교육 관련 논문 697편을 대상으로 워드 클라우드(Word Cloud)와 LDA 토픽 모델링(Latent Dirichlet Allocation Topic Modeling) 기법을 활용하여 분석하였다. 분석결과, 주요 토픽으로는 생성형 인공지능 활용 교육, 인공지능 윤리 교육, 인공지능 융합 교육, 인공지능 활용에 대한 교사 인식과 역할, 대학 교육에서 인공지능 리터러시(Literacy) 개발, 인공지능 기반 교육과 연구 방향으로 여섯 가지가 도출되었다. 분석결과를 토대로, (1) 다양한 교과목에 생성형 인공지능 활용 확대, (2) 인공지능 사용을 위한 윤리적 지침, (3) 인공지능 교육의 장기적 영향 평가, (4) 고등교육에서 교사의 인공지능 활용 역량, (5) 대학의 인공지능 교육과정 다양화, (6) 인공지능 연구 추이 분석 및 교육 플랫폼(Platform) 개발 등을 제안하였다.

초등학생의 인공지능 소양을 기르기 위한 내용체계 개발 (Development of the Content Framework for Elementary Artificial Intelligence Literacy Education)

  • 2022 개정 교육과정에서 인공지능 교육이 초등교육에서 필수화됨에 따라 초등학생을 위한 인공지능 교육과정 개발이 필요하다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 초등학생들의 인공지능 소양을 기르기 위한 내용체계표를 개발하였다. 인공지능 교육 영역을 크게 인공지능 이해와 인공지능 개발로 구분하였고, 세부 영역을 인공지능 활용, 인공지능 영향, 인공지능 윤리, 인공지능 인식, 데이터 탐색, 데이터 표현, 인공지능 예측 등 8가지로 구분하였다. 또한, 영역별로 주제 요소와 성취기준을 제시하고, 그것에 대한 타당성을 검증하기 위해 2차에 걸친 전문가 델파이조사를 하였다. 인공지능 교육 내용체계표에 대한 전문가 의견을 반영한 후 최종안을 확정하였다. 향후 인공지능교육이 초등학교에서 확대되려면, 본 연구에서 제안한 인공지능 교육 내용체계에 따라 교재와 교구를 개발하고, 그것을 학교에 적용할 수 있도록 수업 시수를 확보해야 하며, 학교 현장에 적용하면서 발생된 문제점을 수정·보완하는 등 지속적인 연구가 필요하다.

공학전공 대학생의 AI 로봇에 대한 윤리적 민감성 (Engineering Students' Ethical Sensitivity on Artificial Intelligence Robots)

  • This study evaluated the engineering students' ethical sensitivity to an AI emotion recognition robot scenario and explored its characteristics. For data collection, 54 students (27 majoring in Convergence Electronic Engineering and 27 majoring in Computer Software) were asked to list five factors regarding the AI robot scenario. For the analysis of ethical sensitivity, it was checked whether the students acknowledged the AI ethical principles in the AI robot scenario, such as safety, controllability, fairness, accountability, and transparency. We also categorized students' levels as either informed or naive based on whether or not they infer specific situations and diverse outcomes and feel a responsibility to take action as engineers. As a result, 40.0% of students' responses contained the AI ethical principles. These include safety 57.1%, controllability 10.7%, fairness 20.5%, accountability 11.6%, and transparency 0.0%. More students demonstrated ethical sensitivity at a naive level (76.8%) rather than at the informed level (23.2%). This study has implications for presenting an ethical sensitivity evaluation tool that can be utilized professionally in educational fields and applying it to engineering students to illustrate specific cases with varying levels of ethical sensitivity.
