Study on the feasibility of using AI image generation tool for fashion design development -Focused on the use of Midjourney (패션디자인 개발을 위한 AI 이미지 생성 도구의 활용 가능성 연구 -미드저니(Midjourney)의 활용을 중심으로)

  • Today, AI is being applied to various industrial fields, leading to a paradigm shift in the overall industry. In the fashion industry, AI is also used to predict trends and provide various services for consumers, and in particular, AI image creation tools have the potential as a tool for fashion design development. This study investigated the possibilities and limitations of using Midjourny for fashion design development by creating images using Midjourney among AI image creation tools and identifying its characteristics. The characteristics of images created in Midjourney are as follows. First, it has the intuitiveness to create images by intuitively applying or combining images corresponding to commands. Second, there is randomness in which different images are generated when the same command is entered at different times. Third, when using existing images and commands together, the image created in Midjourney is more dependent on the existing image than the command. In conclusion, Midjourny's various image creation functions and the ability to change images according to commands can be helpful in developing original fashion designs. However, it is important to note that fashion designs that cannot be worn or made are sometimes presented. It is expected that the results of this study will serve as basic data for the use of AI image creation tools for fashion design development.

Development of checklist questions to measure AI capabilities of elementary school students (초등학생의 AI 역량 측정을 위한 체크리스트 문항 개발)

  • The development of artificial intelligence technology changes the social structure and educational environment, and the importance of artificial intelligence capabilities continues to increase. This study was conducted with the purpose of developing a checklist of questions to measure AI capabilities of elementary school students. To achieve the purpose of the study, a Delphi survey was used to analyze literature and develop questions. For literature analysis, two domestic studies, five international studies, and the Ministry of Education's curriculum report were collected through a search. The collected data was analyzed to construct core competency measurement elements. The core competency measurement elements consisted of understanding artificial intelligence (6 elements), artificial intelligence thinking (4 elements), artificial intelligence ethics (4 elements), and artificial intelligence social-emotion (3 elements). Considering the knowledge, skills, and attitudes of the constructed measurement elements, 19 questions were developed. The developed questions were verified through the first Delphi survey, and 7 questions were revised according to the revision opinions. The validity of 19 questions was verified through the second Delphi survey. The checklist items developed in this study are measured by teacher evaluation based on performance and behavioral observations rather than a self-report questionnaire. This has the implication that the measurement results of competency are raised to a reliable level.

  • This study was conducted with the purpose of developing a checklist of questions to measure middle school students' AI capabilities. Digital Content to Improve Artificial Intelligence Literacy Ability

  • This study aims to design and develop effective digital contents to improve the ability for artificial intelligence literacy. First, we defined AI literacy and analyzed the competencies required for artificial intelligence literacy. After selecting the educational elements for AI ability, we composed 10 educational programs. To confirm the appropriateness of designed contents, we verified through content validity test by 10 experts. The CVI value was over 0.75, which was highly valid. The developed content was installed on the online system and applied to 55 AI beginners for 4 weeks. The learners showed a positive result of at least 3.85 in the items of content difficulty, understanding, effectiveness, and learning challenge. As a result of this analysis, we can see that the developed content is positive for helping many people understand AI and improving AI literacy.

  • This study develops AI-based 3D body shape modeling technology that can be utilized in the healthcare sector, proposing a system that enables monitoring of users' body shape changes and health status. Utilizing data from Size Korea, the study developed a model to generate 3D body shape images from 2D images, and compared various models to select the one with the best performance. Ultimately, by proposing a system process through the developed technology, including personalized health management, exercise recommendations, and dietary suggestions, the study aims to contribute to disease prevention and health promotion.

  • AI 분야는 기존 분석적(Analytical) AI에서 점차 자가학습을 통한 새로운 디지털 이미지, 영상, 음성, 텍스트, 코드 등을 만드는 Generative AI로 너무 빠르게 진화하고 Generative AI 영역을 두고 세계 각 기업들이 비즈니스의 우위를 선점하기 위해 개발 속도에 열을 올리고 있다. 이미 Generative AI는 다양한 부분에서 활용되고 있는데 음악, 문학, 미디어 등 새로운 창작물을 생성할 뿐만 아니라 향후 지식경제의 생산성을 획기적으로 향상시킬 것이다. 이런 Generative AI가 AI 휴먼 서비스 발전에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지에 대해 논하고자 한다.

  • 저용융점을 가진 새로운 무기 접착제인 단사정 HBO2가 알루미나 분말의 선택적 레이저 소결을 하기 위한 접착제로서 개발되었다. 이것을 이용하여 만들어진 green body는 현재까지 알루미나 분말의 선택적 레이저 소결을 위하여 개발된 다른 무기 접착제들인 알루미늄(Ai)과 Ammonium Phosphate(NH4H2PO4)을 이용하여 제조된 것에 비교하여 훨씬 높은 굽힘 강도를 가지고 있고 또 정밀도가 우수하였다. Green Body는 후속의 열처리를 받음으로써 저밀도 단상 세라믹 AI18B4O33과 다상 세라믹 복합재료 AI2O3-AI4B2O9으로 된다. AI18B4O33과 AI4B2O9의 결정립의 모양은 휘스커 구조와 유사하였다. 재료인자와 가공변수가 이 세라믹의 기계적 및 물리적 성질에 미치는 영향이 조사되었다.

  • Rapid changes in modern society after the COVID-19 have highlighted artificial intelligence talent as a major influencing factor in determining national competitiveness. Accordingly, the Ministry of Education planned a large-scale SW·AI camp education project to develop the digital capabilities of 4th to 6th grade elementary school students and middle and high school students who are in a vacuum in artificial intelligence education. Therefore, this study aims to develop a camp-type SW·AI education program for students in grades 4-6 of elementary school so that students in grades 4-6 of elementary school can acquire basic knowledge in artificial intelligence. For this, the meaning of SW·AI education in elementary school is defined and SW·AI contents to be dealt with in elementary school are: understanding of SW AI, 'principle and application of SW AI', and 'social impact of SW AI' was set. In addition, an attempt was made to link the set elements of elementary school SW AI education and learning with related subjects and units of textbooks currently used in elementary schools. As for the program used for education, entry, a software coding learning tool based on block coding, is designed to strengthen software programming basic competency, and all programs are designed to be operated centered on experience and experience-oriented participants in consideration of the developmental characteristics of elementary school students. In order for SW·AI education to be organized and operated as a member of the regular curriculum, it is suggested that research based on the analysis of regular curriculum contents and in-depth analysis of SW·AI education contents is necessary.

  • 최근 알파고로 인해 인공지능의 인기가 급부상하고 있고 '머신러닝'의 가능성과 위상을 널리 알려 컴퓨터 및 여러 분야에서 연구단계를 넘어 실용화, 상업화 될 가능성을 확인 시켜주었다. 본 연구는 전망 있는 인공지능산업에 발맞춰 비록 '알파고' 같은 고성능 완벽한 인공지능이 아니지만 랜덤 상태의 초기에서 한 최적의 해를 찾기 위한 도구로서, 유전알고리즘(genetic algorithms)을 사용하여 목표 값에는 최대한 수렴하도록 하는 학습형 AI 게임을 개발하였다. 본 연구에서 개발한 게임은 향후 각각의 다양한 개성을 가진 양산형 인공지능 게임개발에 응용되리가 사료된다.

Development of a Curriculum of Department of AI Operation based on Industrial Demands -Focusing on the Case of C University (산업체 수요를 반영한 AI 운영학과 교육과정 개발 -C 대학 사례를 중심으로)

  • In recent years, with the rapid development of artificial intelligence technology and an explosion of interest in it, education on artificial intelligence is spreading to various fields. As a result, many universities are establishing artificial intelligence-related departments or expanding their quota. In line with this trend, University C has newly established the AI operation department in line with the industrial base in the region. In this paper, a curriculum was developed for the newly established AI operation department, and this curriculum was designed and developed focusing on subjects reflecting the demands of industries based on AIOps (Artificial intelligence for IT Operations). To this end, a consultative body was formed with industry experts, and opinions were collected through a survey.
