회전익 무인항공기의 비행안정성 규명을 위한ADS-33E 적용기법 연구 (A Study on ADS-33E with Application to the Assessment of Handling Quality for Unmanned Rotorcraft)

  • 본 논문에서는 회전익 유인항공기의 비행성 기준인 ADS-33E-PRF 규정을 회전익 무인항공기에 적용하기 위한 시험방법 및 절차, 그리고 데이터 분석방법에 대해서 기술하였다. 비행특성을 평가하기 위한 대상 모델은 충남대학교에서 보유한 실험용 회전익 무인항공기 CNUHELI-020이며 종/횡/방향축 선형모델을 사용하였다. 비행특성을 평가하기 위한 요구 조건은 공중 제자리비행 및 저속비행 요구조건 중 미소진폭크기 자세변화와 중간진폭크기 자세변화이며, 종/횡방향축에 대해서 공중 정지비행시 비행특성을 평가하였다. 규정에 근거한 비행성 평가결과, 대상 무인항공기는 해당 비행영역에서 대부분 Level 1의 비행성을 갖는 것으로 파악되었다.

Antidepressant Prescription Patterns in Bipolar Disorder: a Nationwide, Register-based Study in Korea

  • Background: The role of antidepressants (ADs) in bipolar disorder is long-standing controversial issue in psychiatry. Many clinicians have used ADs as a treatment for bipolar depression, and the selection of therapeutic agents is very diverse and inconsistent. This study aimed to examine recent AD prescription patterns for patients with bipolar disorder in Korea, using the nationwide, population-based data. Methods: This study utilized the Korean nationwide, whole population-based registry data of the year 2010, 2011, and 2013. All prescription data of the ADs, antipsychotics, and mood stabilizers of the sampled patients diagnosed with bipolar disorder (n = 2,022 [in 2010]; 2,038 [in 2011]; 2,626 [in 2013]) were analyzed for each year. Results: Annual prescription rate of ADs was 27.3%-33.6% in bipolar disorder, which was gradually increasing over the 3-year period. The combination pattern of ADs and antipsychotic drugs tended to increase over 3 years. The proportion of females and the prevalence of comorbid anxiety disorder were significantly higher in AD user group in all three years. Among individual ADs, escitalopram was prescribed most frequently, and fluoxetine and bupropion were prescribed to the next many patients. The mean duration of bipolar depressive episodes was 135.90-152.53 days, of which ADs were prescribed for 115.60-121.98 days. Conclusion: Our results show prescription rate of ADs in bipolar disorder was maintained at substantial level and increased in recent 3 years. More empirical data and evidence are needed to establish practical treatment consensuses.

ADS-33 평가기준에 따른 소방헬기 비행시뮬레이터의 비행조종성 예비평가 (Preliminary Evaluation of Handling Qualities of a SAR(Search & Rescue) Helicopter Simulator Based on ADS-33 Requirements)

  • 본 연구는 헬리콥터 비행 시뮬레이터 개발의 첫 번째 단계의 일환으로 비행 운동 모델의 비행조종성을 해석적으로 평가한다. 비행 운동 모델은 시뮬레이터의 목표 항공기인 AS365 N2의 공개 정보를 사용하여 생성하였다. 해당 비행 시뮬레이터는 소방 임무에 대한 조종사 교육 및 연구 도구로 개발 중이다. 모델의 평가는 비행 시험 데이터를 통한 검증이 이루어지기 전에 모델의 비행 특성과 다음 개발 단계로의 적합성을 평가하기 위하여 수행된다. 평가는 항공기분류, 임무 및 환경을 고려하여 ADS-33E-PRF(Aeroautical Design Standard Performance Specification Handling Qualities Requirement)의 기준에 의거하여 수행한다. 항공기의 해석적 비행은 규정에 대한 적합성 평가를 위해 요구되는 혹은 권장되는 비행시험절차를 따른다. 평가 결과는 ADS-33E-PRF에 명시된 조종성 등급에 따라 평가되는데 RotorLibFDM을 기반으로 생성된 비행 운동 모델이 헬기 비행에 대한 기본 교육과 연구로 사용될 수 있는 일반적인 헬리콥터 시뮬레이터에 대한 만족스러운 플랫폼을 제공함이 확인되었다.

Synergy effect for performance of anionic SDS/ADS mixtures with amphoteric and nonionic surfactants

  • Detergency and surface active properties of mixed anionic surfactants with amphoteric and nonionic were investigated. Sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) and ammonium dodecyl sulfate (ADS) as anionic surfactants and cocamidopropyl betaine (CAPB) as an amphoteric surfactant were used. Nonionic surfactants, which are butyl glucoside (BG), octyl glucoside (OG), decyl glucoside (DG), lauryl dimethylamine oxide (AO) and saponin were also used. To study the synergy effects of mixed SDS/ADS anionic surfactant systems, amphoteric and nonionic surfactants were added into the mixed anionic surfactants. Investigated properties of surfactant mixtures were critical micelle concentration (CMC), surface tension (${\gamma}$), wettability. In addition, based on these properties, detergency of each sample was examined. Surfactant mixtures are anionics (SDS/ADS), anionic/amphoteric/nonionic (SDS/ADS/CAPB/saponin), and anionic/nonionic (SDS/ADS/BG/saponin, SDS/ADS/OG/saponin, SDS/ADS/DG/saponin, and SDS/ADS/AO/saponin). With the addition of amphoteric and nonionic to mixed anionic surfactants, CMC and ${\gamma}$ were decreased. Addition of CAPB, which is amphoteric, showed the best property at CMC and ${\gamma}$. Furthermore, as the chain length of hydrocarbon in alkyl glucosides was increased, the CMC and ${\gamma}$ were enhanced. However, the wettability did not exactly match up with CMC and ${\gamma}$. The surfactant mixture, which contained DG, showed the best performance at wetting time. Detergency was measured at various temperatures ($15^{\circ}C$, $30^{\circ}C$, $50^{\circ}C$). The cleaning performance was enhanced by increasing washing temperature. Moreover, detergency was influenced by not only CMC and ${\gamma}$ but also wettability. Although CMC and ${\gamma}$ were not minimum at surfactant mixture that included DG, the best cleaning performance showed in that sample.

선박자동식별장치를 이용한 ADS-B 개념 기반의 항공감시용 송수신기의 구현 (Implementation of Aeronautical Surveillance Transceiver using AIS based on ADS-B Concepts)

  • 국제해사기구(International Maritime Organization, IMO)에서는 선박의 해상 충돌을 방지하기 위하여 SOLAS의 요구조건에 따라 모든 선박에 대하여 선박자동식별장치(Automatic Identification System, AIS)를 의무적으로 장착하도록 권고하고 있다. AIS를 사용하면 타선에 대한 제원 및 항행정보의 획득이 가능하여 충돌방지뿐만 아니라 광역관제, 조난 선박의 탐색구조 등 안전관리에도 활용이 가능하다. 본 논문에서는 AIS 장비를 사용하여 ADS-B (Automatic Dependent Surveillance - Broadcast) 개념 기반의 항공감시용 송수신기를 구현한 결과에 대하여 살펴보도록 한다. 기본적으로 AIS는 해상에서 사용되기 때문에 고도 정보를 사용하지 않지만, AIS 장비 내부에 사용하는 GPS (Global Positioning System) 칩셋에서 제공하는 고도 정보의 추출이 가능하다. 고도 정보를 포함한 감시 메시지 형식을 정의하고, SOTDMA (Self-Organizing Time Division Multiple Access) 방식을 개선하여 ADS-B 송수신기를 구현하였다. 적용 결과를 확인하기 위하여 지상시험 및 비행시험을 수행하였다.

FBW 헬리콥터 모델 역변환 비행제어법칙 설계 및 검증 (Design and Validation of Model Inversion Flight Control Law for Fly By Wire Helicopter)

  • 우천, 안개 낀 날씨 및 먼지 등에 의해 시계가 확보되지 않는 비행 환경에서의 헬리콥터의 안정성(stability) 및 비행성(flying quality)을 향상시키기 위해 모델 역변환 제어(Model Inversion Control) 방식의 전자식 비행제어시스템(Fly-By-Wire Flight Control System)의 적용은 필수적이다. 선진 항공사인 미국의 Bell-Sikorsky사와 유럽 컴소시움인 NHI(NH Industries)사는 FBW 비행제어시스템을 V-22와 NH-90의 헬리콥터 양산에 적용한 바 있다. 본 논문에서는 BO-105 모델을 기반으로 CONDUIT(Control Designer's Unified Interface)을 활용하여 제자리 비행영역에서 모델 역변환 비행제어법칙을 설계하였으며, 헬리콥터 비행조종성 국제규격인 ADS-33E-PRF을 기준으로 평가하였다. 설계된 비행제어법칙을 CONDUIT과 HETLAS(HElicopter Trim Linearization And Simulation)를 기반으로 평가한 결과, ADS-33E-PRF에서 제시하고 있는 예측 조종성(predicted handling quality) 규격에 대해 비행조종성 Level 1을 만족시킬 수 있었다.

요양병원 입원 노인의 좋은 죽음 인식, 사전의료의향서에 대한 태도 및 임종치료선호도 (Good Death Awareness, Attitudes toward Advance Directives and Preferences for Care Near the End of Life among Hospitalized Elders in Long-term Care Hospitals)

  • Purpose: This study was done to examine good death awareness, attitudes toward advance directives (ADs), and preference for care near the end-of-life (PCEOL) of hospitalized elders in long-term care hospitals. Relevant characteristics were investigated as well as correlation of the variables. Methods: This descriptive research study involved 161 hospitalized elderly patients in long-term care hospitals. A self-report questionnaire was used to measure Good Death Scale, ADs Survey, PCEOL Scale, and general characteristics. Collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, and Pearson correlation with SPSS/WIN 23.0. Results: In terms of good death awareness, a significant difference was observed; in according to age (F=3.35, p=.037), payer of treatment costs (F=3.98, p=.021), mobility (F=3.97, p=.021), heard discussion about ADs (t=-3.89, p<.001), and willing to complete ADs (t=2.12, p=.036). As far as attitudes toward ADs, the participants presented significant difference depending on religion (t=2.38, p=.018), average monthly income (F=3.91, p=.022), duration of hospital admission (F=5.33, p=.006), person to discuss ADs (t=-2.76, p=.006). On PCEOL, there was a significant difference, depending on religion (t=-3.59, p<.001) and perceived health status (F=3.93, p=.022). Finally, as for how the variables were related to each other, good death awareness and attitudes toward ADs had a weak positive correlation with PCEOL. Conclusion: To help seniors staying in nursing homes face a good death and enjoy autonomy, there should be educational and support systems that reflect each individual's sociodemographic characteristics so that the seniors can choose what kind of care they want to receive near the end-of-life.

Assessment of the Nitrate Radical Chemistry and Chemical Composition on Jeju Island during the Asian Pollution Period in the Spring of 2001

  • In this study, we examined the influence of long-range transport of dust particles and air pollutants on the photochemistry of NO$_3$on Jeju Island, Korea (33.17 N, 126.10$^{\circ}$E) during the Asian Dust-Storm (ADS) period of April 2001. Three ADS events were observed during the periods of 10∼12, 13∼14, and 25∼26 April. Average concentration level of nighttime NO$_3$on Jeju Island during the ADS period was estimated to be about 2 x 10$^{8}$ molecules cm$^{-3}$ ( - 9 pptv). Decreases in NO$_3$levels during the ADS period was likely to be determined mainly by the enhancement of the $N_2$O$_{5}$ heterogeneous reaction on dust aerosol surfaces. The reaction of N20s on aerosol surfaces was a more important sink for nighttime N03 during the ADS due to the significant loading of dust particles. The reaction of $N_2$O$_{5}$ with NMHCs and the gas-phase reaction of N20s with water vapor were both significant loss mechanisms during the study period, especially during the NADS. However, dry deposition of these oxidized nitrogen species and a heterogeneous reaction of NO$_3$were of no importance. Short-term observations of $O_3$, NO$_2$, DMS, and SO$_2$in the MBL indicated that concentrations of most of these chemical species were different between the ADS and non - Asian - Dust-Storm (NADS) periods, implying that their levels were affected sensitively by the differences in air mass trajectories.

Assessment of DMS photochemistry at Jeju Island During the Asian Oust-Storm Period of Spring 2001 : Comparison of Model Simulations with Field Observations

  • This study examines the influence of long-range transport of dust particles and air pollutants on both local/regional DMS oxidation chemistry and the distribution of sulfur compounds at Jeju Island (33.17$^{\circ}$ N. 126.10$^{\circ}$ E) during the Asian dust-storm(ADS) period in April 2001. The atmospheric concentrations of these sulfur species were measured at a ground station on Jeju Island. Korea as Part of the ACE-Asia intensive operation. Three ADS events were observed during the periods of 10-12, 13-14. and 25-26 April. respectively. The concentrations of DMS and CS$_2$ were higher during the ADS period than during the non-Asian-dust-storm (NADS) period. Conversely. a difference in SO$_2$ levels during the ADS period was not distinguishable from those during the NADS period. The diurnal variation pattern of DMS observed was largely different from that in the remote marine boundary layer. DMS loss by NO$_3$ in the atmospheric boundary layer was dominant due to significantly high NOx levels influenced by the long-range transport of pollutants from East Asia to Jeju Island The DMS maximum during the ADS period was observed in the late afternoon. The oceanic fluxes of DMS during the ADS and NADS periods were estimated to be 5.7$\pm$2.3 and 2.9 (+2.8/-1.5) mole m$^{-2}$ day$^{-1}$ . respectively. The contribution of oxidized DMS to SO$_2$ levels at Jeju Island during the study period was found to be insignificant.

  • The evaluation of simulation models against ADS-33 quantitative rotorcraft handling qualities metrics has, in the past, been a time consuming effort, involving many individual analyses in both the time and frequency domains. Manual tuning of control system parameters to meet handling qualities and performance specifications has been cumbersome and complicated. Performing rigorous trade-off studies for numerous variations in the control system is too time consuming to be practicable. With the complex interaction of time- and frequency based specifications for the closed- and broken-loop responses, it is difficult to know if the design makes the most effective use of the available control power. The Control Designer's Unified Interface (CONDUIT) software makes possible rapid optimization and trade-offs of design configurations against handling qualities specifications.
