감마선과 Methyl Bromide 처리가 도토리 종실의 해충사멸과 이화학적 품질에 미치는 영향 (Comparative Effects of Gamma Irradiation and Methyl Bromide Fumigation on Disinfestation and Physicochemical Quality of Acorn)

  • 전분 추출용으로 대부분 사용되고 있는 도토리 종실의 가해해충 사멸방법을 연구할 목적으로 현행 검역해충 사멸방법인 methyl bromide (MBr) 훈증처리와 감마선 조사법에 대하여 살충효과와 이들이 몇 가지 이화학적 품질에 미치는 영향을 비교 검토하였다. 국내산 도토리의 가해해충은 도토리밤바구미 (Curculio drntipes Roelofs)와 복숭아명나방 (Dichocrocis punctiferalis Guenee)으로 확인되었다. 이들 해충의 사멸시험에서 상업적 조건의 MBr 훈증은 처리 직후부터 살충효과가 완전하였고, 감마선의 경우에는 조사 3일째에는 1-3 kGy, 조사후 1개월 경에는 0.5-1 kGy의 조사선량에서 해충의 치사율이 100%에 달하였다. 훈증처리된 도토리는 처리 직후 명도 (L값)의 감소와 황색도 (b값) 및 갈색도의 증가현상이 유의적이었으나 0.5-2 kGy 조사구에서는 대조구와 큰 차이가 없었다. 시료의 총페놀 성분과 환원당에 있어서도 훈증처리구는 대조구와 조사구에 비해 함량의 감소가 크게 나타났다. 시료를 통기포장하여 5-1$0^{\circ}C$의 조건에서 6개월간 저장 중 훈증처리구는 부패현상이 심하여 대체방안이 요구되었으며, 3 kGy 미만의 감마선 조사는 적용가능성이 인정되었다.

객관적.주관적 검사방법에 의한 도토리묵의 텍스쳐 특성 연구 (Correlations between Objective and Sensory Texture Measurement of Acorn Mook)

  • 시판 도토리묵의 관능적 특성을 질량묘사분석법에 의하여 검사하여 각각의 특성치들 사이의 상관관계를 분석한 결과, 기호도에 대해서는 거의 모든 관능적 특성치들이 유의적인 상관관계를 가지고 있었는데 이것은 결국 도토리묵의 기호도는 다양한 여러 인자에 의해 종합적으로 영향을 받는다는 반증이 될 수 있을 것으로 생각된다. 그러나 기호도에 대해 가장 큰 예측력을 갖는 인자들은 견고성과 절단성이었다. 한편 시판 도토리묵의 기기적 특성치를 Instron을 사용한 압착시험에 의해 분석하고 그들 사이의 상관관계를 조사한 결과, 첫번째 압착에 의한 두개의 피크중 Pl_은 첫번째 압착의 특성을 주로 나타내는데 비해, P2_는 두번째 압착의 결과를 예측하는데 더 큰 의의가 있는 것으로 생각되어진다. 한편 식품의 텍스쳐 논의시에 가장 자주 거론되는 HARD_는 FRAC_, Al_, B2_의 세가지 인자에 의한 회귀모형으로 표현될 수 있었다(중상관계수 R=0.89). 시판 도토리묵의 관능적 특성치들과 기기적 특성치들 사이의 상관계수를 구해 본 결과, 특징적인 유형의 상관관계가 성립되지 못하였다. 그러나 기기적 FRAC_는 관능적 절단성·견고성·씹힘성등과 유의적인 정의 상관관계를 보여주었다. 한편 시판 도토리묵의 기호도에 대한 기기적 특성치들의 예측력을 알아보기 위하여 단계적 회귀분석을 실시한 결과에서도 회귀모형에 포함되는 인자는 GUM_뿐이었는데 그 결정계수가 0.2023에 불과하므로 예측력이 그리 높은 편이 못되었다. 따라서 도토리묵의 기기적 특성과 관능적 특성간의 상호 관련성에 대하여는 앞으로 보다 많은 연구가 이루어져야 할 것으로 생각되어진다.

Tannic acid의 혈압강하작용(血壓降下作用) (Depressor Responses to Intravenously Administered Tannic Acid in Rabbits)

  • The present study was undertaken to investigate depressor action of tannic acid and the mechanism underlies it in the rabbit. The changes in arterial blood pressure were studied after intravenous administration of tannic acid in normal rabbits and the animals pretreated with atropine, propranolol, dibenamine, and hexamethonium. The results obtained were as follows; 1) Following administration of 1.5 mg/kg, 3.0 mg/kg, and 5.0 mg/kg of tannic acid into rabbits the maximum depressor responses observed were $12.0{\pm}0.9\;mmHg$, $23.4{\pm}1.0\;mmHg$, and $34.0{\pm}1.8\;mmHg$ respectively and generally depressor responses increased in proportion to dosage of tannic acid. 2) Since there were no changes in depressor responses to tannic acid in animals pretreated. separately with atropine, propranolol, dibenamine, and hexamethonium, the depressor responses appeared to be resulting from direct vasodilator action of tannic acid on the vascular smooth muscle. Comparing tannic acid and acorn extract in their mechanisms of depressor responses, it is strongly indicated that in acorn there might exist another depressor substance. 3) After administration of large doses of tannic acid, in addition to respiratory changes, the mean arterial blood pressure decreased markedly and was never recovered throughout the experiment. comma Therefore it is also suggested that the lethal action of tannic acid resides in a drastic decline of arterial blood pressure and in respiratory changes as well.

감마선을 조사한 시판 도토리묵의 저장 중 품질 특성 (Quality Characteristics of Gamma Irradiated Commercial Arcon Starch Gel during Storage)

  • The physical properties and sensory characteristics of acorn starch gels (Dotori Mook), which were gamma-irradiated up to 3 kGy, were evaluated during storage at $4^{\circ}C$. Even at the dose of 2 kGy, the gamma irradiation decreased total bacteria in the Dotori Mook during 5 days of storage, to lower than the detection limit $(10^2CFU/g)$. The hardness of the control sample increased according to the days of storage, while the gamma irradiated samples had decreased hardness according to the irradiation dose. The sample irradiated at 3 kGy maintained the same hardness as the control at day 0 of storage. Irradiation did not affect the Hunter color values. No significant differences were observed in off-odor, color, springiness, and overall acceptability (p<0.05) at the irradiation dose of 2 kGy. It can be concluded that the irradiation of Dotori Mook, up to 2 kGy, does not affect the quality of the Mook during storage, with regard to texture and sensory characteristics. Moreover, the irradiated Mook was superior in maintaining hardness and had prolonged shelf-life time by sanitation.

지역별 특화를 위한 단기소득임산물 선정 -강원내륙산간권역을 대상으로 - (Selection of Non-Timber Forest Products for regional specialization -Focused on Gangwon Inland Mountains Area-)

  • 본 논문의 목적은 강원내륙산간권역인 춘천시, 원주시, 홍천군, 횡성군, 평창군, 철원군, 화천군, 양구군, 인제군 총 9개 시군을 대상으로 지역별로 다양성을 추구하며 차별화할 수 있는 단기소득임산물을 선정하는 것이다. 생산액의 규모가 비교적 큰 송이버섯, 생표고, 밤, 잣, 도토리, 수지, 산양삼, 고사리, 도라지, 더덕, 두릅, 취나물, 수액, 목초액 등 14개 임산물을 분석대상으로 하였다. 분석방법으로는 지역별 품목 비중과 품목별 지역의 비중, 산업연관분석에서 사용되는 입지계수를 응용하여 만들어진 임산물계수를 이용하였다. 분석 결과, 춘천시에서는 밤, 원주시와 평창군에서는 생표고, 홍천군에서는 잣이 선정되었다. 횡성군과 화천군에서는 더덕, 철원군에서는 도토리가 선정되었다. 양구군에서는 취나물, 인제군에서는 수액이 선정되었다.

Clonal Variation of Physical Characteristics and Mineral Composition in Acorn of Quercus acutissima and Q. serrata Seed Orchard

  • This study investigated mineral element concentrations of acorns in Quercus acutissima and Quercus serrata seed orchard, so that to estimate the variation of these species based on the chemical composition in different clones from plus trees. The acorns were collected from ten clones of each species grown in the same clonal seed orchard. The nutritional concentration of acorns was significantly different between the clones and species. The concentration of nutrient for the whole acorn followed in this general sequence: P > K > Na > Mg > Ca > Mn > Fe > Zn > Cu. The mineral concentrations of acorns in clones of Q. acutissima and Q. serrata contained P (494 to 684 and 541 to 672 mg/100 g), K (114 to 569 and 140 to 251 mg/100 g), Na (57 to 121 and 49 to 85 mg/100 g), Mg (29 to 37 and 26 to 42 mg/100 g), Ca (10 to 53 and 26 to 68 mg/100 g), Mn (0.5 to 3.4 and 1.8 to 4.5 mg/100 g), Fe (0.7 to 1.1 and 0.0 to 2.2 mg/100 g), Zn (0.34 to 0.81 and 0.38 to 0.84 mg/100 g), and Cu (0.13 to 0.40 and 0.09 to 0.34 mg/100 g) respectively. Even though acorns of Q. serrata are smaller in size than Q. acutissima, acorns of Q. serrata contained significantly higher concentration of phosphorus, calcium, iron and manganese than Q. acutissima. Based on the mineral composition of the acorns, this study has shown that the clones of Q. acutissima and Q. serrata have different ability to accumulate mineral nutrients which could indicate the variation of Quercus species in terms of mineral acquisition and accumulation.

  • This area is plant-geographically located at the Temperate Subtropical Zone and Evergreen Broad Leaf Zone which is included in the sea of southern area of the Korean Peninsula. The Japanese black pine is the most common tree in this area. The sorts of trees that are living in this area Camellia, Alder, Oak, Acorn. It is reported that this area is located at the Evergreen Broad Leaf Zone of Korean Peninsula that is living in the southern sea. The construction place was originally a grassy place. About 40 familly 100 species different plants were living at this area. The most common animals were the Rodents and the most common birds were the Colombiformes.

  • Theoretical analysis of noise reduction by a membrane-duct system is presented. When acorn waves propagate in the membrane-duct, the membrane is also excited and its motion is coup with interior medium. It has been shown that propagating waves with supersonic wave speed exist beyond a certain critical frequency that is determined from the mass ratio of the me and the fluid. Also found are subsonic waves which couple strongly wi th the membrane a provide a powerful mechanism of energy dissipation. Existence of an exterior medium alter dispersion characteristics. It provides additional mass loading and reduces the subsort speed further. The effect of mean flow speed on dispersion characteristics is also consider results show that the membrane-duct system can be applied to diminish and absorb 1 frequency noise in duct instead of passive muffler, such as a simple expansion chamber absorption material.

가열조건에 따른 동부묵의 텍스쳐 특성 (Textural Properties of Cowpea Mook as Affected by Heating Conditions)

  • Mook is a traditional Korean food made from the sediment of mungbean, cowpea, buckwheat or acorn. The air-dried sediment of cowpea(6~9%, dry basis) was heated to 80~95$^{\circ}C$ by continuous(method A) or instantaneous(method B) heating method and held at that temperature for 20min and then cooled at 15$^{\circ}C$ for 3hrs. The optimum deformation rate for the measurements of hardness and cohesiveness of cowpea mook by Instron Universal Testing Machine was 55~65% by method A and 60~70% by method B. The hardness of mook made by method A was the highest at heating temperature of 9$0^{\circ}C$, whereas that by method B was linearly decreased as the heating temperature increased at all concentrations. The mook made by method B had higher cohesiveness than that by method A. The ratio of cohesiveness to hardness was also higher in mook made by method B.

황토를 이용한 면직물의 염색 (The Natural Dyeing On Cotton Fabrics Vsing Loess)

  • The dyeing with loess has been studied. Two kinds of cotton fabrics having different thickness and density were dyed in loess paste bath. The color differences of the fabrics which were dyed repeatedly.five times were not significant. The dyeing of cotton fabrics with loess was not exactly reproducible, but dyeability of the cotton fabrics of high density was better than that of low density. Loess on the dye6 fabrics was physically jammed between the fibers in the form of the fine particles. The cotton fabrics dyed with loess have good light fastness, but their laundering fastness and abrasion fastness were not good. An aftertreatment was carried out by using the extracted solution from acorn or persimon, and FeSO4 lot improving fastness. When the dyed fabrics was after-treated with FeSO4, the laundering fastness and wet abrasion fastness were improved extremely.
