  • 양방향 AC/DC 컨버터를 이용하여 EV배터리를 충전하거나 계통으로 전력을 보낼 때 PI제어기를 사용하면 임피던스를 예측할 수 없으므로 초기 구동시 오버슈트가 발생하여 회로에 스트레스가 발생한다. 본 논문에서는 Sliding Mode Controller (SMC)를 이용하여 계통으로 전력을 전달하는 알고리즘으로 소프트 스타트를 하는 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 시뮬레이션을 통하여 회로를 구성하고 제안한 제어 방법의 성능을 확인하였다.

  • 일반적으로 AC DC PWM컨버터에서 입력단에 LCL 필터를 사용한다. LCL 필터 경우 L, C의 공진현상 때문에 스위칭 주파수 선정과 LCL소자 파라메터 선정에 신중함이 요구된다. 시스템의 안정도에 문제가 된다. 본 논문에서는 공진 현상을 억제 시킬 수 있는 방법으로 디지털 저역통과필터 이용하여 능동댐핑 기법을 적용한 전류 제어기를 제안하였다. 시뮬레이션 통하여 제안된 기법의 타당성을 입증하였다.

  • This paper proposes the direct detection method of phase angle for the power source, which is based on the PLL method. The proposed method using a bidirectional photo-coupler is used to directly detect the zero crossing of phase voltage and calculate the angular frequency in the controller based on a M/T algorithm. Through the method, the additional installation space in the traditional method using a potential transformer can be minimized and it can be easy to design. The paper presents straightforward schematic circuits, design and experimental results.

  • This paper presents a method to determine parameters of BTB (back-to-back) converters in terms of the enhancement of interface flow margins. Interface flow margin is by definition a measure of how much active power can be transferred from the external areas to the study area with the fixed load demand, and it is mainly constrained by system voltage stability. BTB converters are controllable equipments with the active power flow through them, and its DC link in fact can divide the AC systems at the location and hence can reduce the fault current level. This paper first cals margin sensitivities at the nose point of F-V curves and formulates an optimization problem to update the BTB parameters to improve the margins. This procedure is repeated performed until the required margin enhancement is achieved.

  • Ac-dc 싸이리스터 컨버터에서 전류기준값의 부호가 변화할 경우에 적분항 초기값을 통해 전류제어 과도특성을 개선하는 연구가 있었다. 이 논문에서는 전류기준값의 기울기에 변화가 있을 때 그 변화를 일으키기 위한 전압을 계산하고 그 값을 점호각 $\alpha$로 환산하여 시스템에 적용시켜 변곡점 부근에서의 전류제어 특성을 개선하는 방법을 제시하였다. 또한 전류기준값에 노이즈가 포함된 경우 LPF 유/무에 따른 특성변화와 노이즈가 포함되지 않은 경우 LPF 유/무에 따른 특성변화를 관찰하였다.

  • In this paper the new converter topology using single-Phase full bridge inverter for the switched reluctance motor drives is proposed. The proposed SRM drives are supplied by the AC pulse voltage source, while the conventional drives are supplied by the DC voltage source. Speed of the SRM is controlled by adjusting the frequency and the multitude of output current of inverter. The SRM using the proposed converter reduces the switching loss and the machine core loss, and has ability to pre-regulate the input voltage. The total number of power switches become fewer than another topology as a number of stator poles becomes more. Power circuit of an inverter is simpler and its volume is smaller because the module device involving several switches is used as an inverter.

  • In this paper, the authors propose a current control system for three phase PWM AC/DC converter without the source voltage sensors. The sinusoidal input current and unity effective power factor are realised based on the estimated source voltage in the controller. The estimation of source voltage is performed based on Luenberger observer using actual currents. The estimated source voltage is used to accomplish unity power factor. The proposed method is proved by simulations.

  • This paper proposes two kinds of novel switching method for a single phase current-controlled voltage-type ac-to-dc converter. Proposed are modifications of the conventional hysteresis current control, and are named by the half suppressing method and unipolar method, respectively. The first one suppresses an inactive half of the four switching signals and uses active another half for current control. The second method uses only one, a quarter of switching signals suppresed the others. Both the simulation and experimental results show that proposed methods are more efficient in switch utilization and have comparable or better performance when compared with conventional method.

  • This paper presents the linearized optimal PWM techniques for current source GTO converter. This proposed method is to linearize an optimal PWM modulation strategy so that the turn-on/off-periods of the GTO switches can be computed on-line in real-time for any modulation index. This allows the rapid and continuous regulation of the DC output current while producing the sinusoidal AC input current waveform and unit power factor.

  • Single-Phase multi-level AC-DC converter that is composed of diode bridge and switch is proposed. The number of the supply current level is depending on the individual current level of the converter. A converter circuit, the number of the level is equal to $2^{M+1}-1$, where M is the number of Switching Converter. The proposed circuit has converter with 31 current levels. When the number of current level is increased, smoother sinusoidal waveform can be obtained directly and it is possible to control the supply current almost continuously from zero to maximum without generating high voltage step changes as pulse with modulation technology. The technique illustrates its validity and effectiveness through the PSIM.
