가전기기용 교류 전동기 구동 시스템의 EMI 특성 및 필터 설계 (EMI Characteristics and filter design of AC Drives for Home Appliances)

  • 본 논문에서는 세탁기, 에어컨과 같은 가전기기에 사용되는 인버터 구동 교류 전동기 구동 시스템의 EMI 특성해석 및 필터 설계 방법에 대하여 기술하였다. 먼저, 인버터 구동 교류 전동기 구동 시스템의 전도성 EMI 발생 및 전달 메커니즘에 대하여 분석하였고, 공통 및 차동모드 노이즈 분리 기법을 이용한 EMI 필터의 설계 방법을 제시하였다. 제시된 방법의 타당성을 검증하기 위해 PWM 인버터로 구동되는 유도 전동기 구동 시스템에 대한 실험을 수행하였고 EN55014 EMI 기준을 만족하는 결과를 얻을 수 있었다.

  • 본 논문에서는 전동기 구동장치를 선정하여 리액터 용량 및 종류, 부하의 크기에 따라 고조파 왜형률 변화추이를 검토하여 선박 및 해양플랜트에 적용 가능한 최적의 용량선정 근거를 마련하였다. AC라인 리액터와 DC링크 리액터는 가변주파수 구동장치 입력전류의 고조파를 크게 저감시키는 역할을 하며, 동일한 효과를 얻기 위한 DC링크 리액터의 인덕턴스가 AC라인 리액터 인덕턴스의 약 1.7배가 되어야 한다는 것을 시뮬레이션을 통하여 고찰하였다. 소프터웨어 PSIM을 활용하여 각 상황에 따른 전류 고조파 왜형률을 분석하였다.

  • The ac servo system using an induction motor is so strong and inexpensive that it is most suitable for today's drive systems. For controlled ac motor drives, but slip frequency vector control system have been put to practical use, it is difficult to perform control of wide range, the same as de motor. A study is presented on an adaptive current control scheme for induction type ac servo motor drives using PWM inverter. An analysis of the control scheme in operations is given and the characteristics are studied by simulation. The implementation of the control scheme using a microprocessor-based system is considered.

  • DC motor is excellent in controllability and efficiency, but vulnerable in maintenance with respect to AC motor owing to the development of power devices and microelectronics, excellent AC motor drives which have characteristics as similar as DC motor's have been developed. Thyristor motor equipment that has an important role with Inverter in the field of AC motor drives was developed in the late 1960. There was no research about thyristor motor in Korea, then thyristor motor equipment was all imported. By this we started to develop in 1983, was tested in 1984, 1985. Now we express ourselves about thyristor motor equipment development procedure and characteristics.

Implementation of an Adaptive Robust Neural Network Based Motion Controller for Position Tracking of AC Servo Drives

  • The neural network with radial basis function is introduced for position tracking control of AC servo drive with the existence of system uncertainties. An adaptive robust term is applied to overcome the external disturbances. The proposed controller is implemented on a high performance digital signal processing DSP TMS320C6713-300. The stability and the convergence of the system are proved by Lyapunov theory. The validity and robustness of the controller are verified through simulation and experimental results

A New Optimum Design for a Single Input Fuzzy Controller Applied to DC to AC Converters

  • In this paper, the design of an optimum single input Fuzzy controller for application in dc to ac converters is presented. Contrary to conventional Fuzzy controllers, the proposed controller has a smaller number of rules and tuning parameters but is capable of performing identically to a conventional controller. These benefits lead to a simpler controller design. The controller is designed as a PI controller for small-signal disturbances. However, for optimum large-signal performance, heuristic tuning is used. The tuning is less complicated and hence optimum large-signal performance is achievable. The system is simulated and a hardware prototype was developed for comparison purposes.

  • In many high performance engineering systems such as automated production system and transportation systems, AC-servo drives are employed as the most Important driving parts. And the faults of servo drives result in overall system performance deterioration or an unscheduled shutdown In critical situations. The real-time fault detection and isolation(FDI) scheme Is very useful to prevent them and to guarantee the desired reliability of the overall system. In this paper, the FDI schemes which can be applied to AC servo drives are introduced and some new results are presented.

A New Waveshaper for Harmonic Mitigation in Vector Controlled Induction Motor Drives

  • This paper deals with a new wave shaping technique for cost effective harmonic mitigation in ac-dc converter feeding Vector Controlled Induction Motor Drives(VCIMD's) for improving power quality at the point of common coupling(PCC). The proposed harmonic mitigator consists of a polygon connected autotransformer based twelve-pulse ac-dc converter and a small rating passive shunt filter tuned for $11^{th}$ harmonic frequency. This ac-dc converter eliminates the most dominant $5^{th},\;7^{th},\;and\;11^{th}$ harmonics and imposes the reduction of other higher order harmonics from the ac main current, thereby improving the power quality at ac mains. The design of autotransformer is carried out for the proposed ac-dc converter to make it suitable for retrofit applications, where presently a 6-pulse ac-dc converter is used. The effect of load variation on VCIMD is also studied to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed ac-dc converter in a wide operating range of the drive. Experimental results obtained on the developed laboratory prototype of the proposed harmonic mitigator are used to validate the model and design of the ac-dc converter.

  • 본 논문은 단상 반파 PWM 정류기와 3상 2-leg 인버터를 결합한 단상-삼상 컨버터 회로에서 전원전압의 센서를 제거하여 3상 유도전동기를 저가형으로 구동하는 방법을 제안하고자 한다. 전원전압의 센서를 제거하기 위해 전원 전류의 실측치와 제어기 내의 모델전류가 일치하도록 관측기를 구성하여 전원전압을 추정한다. 본 논문에서 제안한 기법을 사용할 경우 스위칭 소자와 센서 수를 줄이면서 직류전압 일정제어, 입력전류의 정현제어 및 단위 역률 제어가 가능하고 VVVF 교류전압을 얻을 수 있다는 장점이 있다. 3[Hp]의 3상 유도전동기의 V/f 구동에 적용한 실험결과로 제시된 알고리즘의 타당성을 검증한다.

  • This paper describes an approach to a speed estimation method to remove speed sensor of underwater robot's AC drive systems. AC motors have been widely used in the field of underwater robot's manipulator or propulsion system. Most of these AC motors for underwater use have usually filled oil to compensate the high pressure in deep-sea operation, where a resolver is adopted to feed back the speed of rotor But this kind of speed feedback devices gives rise to some defects arising from their mechanical complexity and numerous signal lines; a resolver needs 6 or 7 signal lines for proper operation. This paper presents a speed estimation method to improve these problems of induction motor, which is adopted as a prototype of AC motor. The proposed speed estimation method is based on the RFO(rotor flux orientation) vector control method of voltage-fed AC drives. Using the controller of voltage-fed AC drives, it is unnecessary to measure the voltage for the estimation of rotor speed, which reduces the effects of measurement error Numerical simulation is carried out to investigate the validity of the method and the effects of rotors resistance variation.
