According to increase of nonlinear power electronics equipment, active power filters have been researched and developed for many years to compensate harmonic disturbances and reactive power. However the commercial of active power filter is being proceeded slowly, because the cost of active power filter compared to the passive filter for harmonic and reactive power compensation is expensive. Especially, the use of DSP (Digital Signal Processing) chip, which is frequently used to control 3-phase active power filter, is a factor of increasing the cost of active power filters. On the other hand, the use of only analog controller makes the controller's circuits much more complicate and depreciates the flexibilities of controller. In this paper, a controller with low cost for 5[kVA] 3-phase active power filter system is designed. To reduce the expense of active filter system, the presented controller is composed of digital control part using Intel 80C196KC $\mu$P and analog control part using hysteresis controller for current control. Characteristic analysis of designed controller for active filter system is performed by computer simulation and compensating characteristics of the designed controller are verified by experiment.tegy can apply to the vector control, leading to better output torque capability in the ac motor drive system. This strategy is that in the overmodulation range, the d-axis output current is given a priority to regulate the flux well, instead the q-axis output curent is sacrificed. Therefore, the vector control even in the overmodulation PWM operation can be achieved well. For this purpose, the d-axis output voltage of a current controller to control the flux is conserved. the q-axis output voltage to control the torque is controlled to place the reference voltage vector on the hexagon boundary in case of the overmodulation. The validity of the proposed overall scheme is confirmed by simulation and experiments for a 22[kW] induction motor drive system.

The electric traction systems are quite differ from general power systems which is single-phase and heavy load. Therefore, there are inevitably power quality problems such as steady state or transient voltage drop, voltage imbalance and harmonic distortion. Among these problems, since steady-state volatge drop is the one of most important factor in electric power quality, many researches about on the compensation of volatge drop by using SVC(Static Var Compensator) and/or STACOM(Static Compensator) have been studied and proposed Also, it is expected that transient voltage drop(voltage sag) could affect the control and safety of high speed traction load. In this paper, voltage sag compensation of AT(Auto Transformer) feeding system are studied The detailed transient models of utility source, scott transformer, AT, and traction load are estabilished. The application of DVR(Dynamic Voltage Restorer) in electric traction system is proposed to compensate the voltage sag of traction network which is occured by the fault of utility source. It can be shown that application of the DVR in electric traction system is very useful to compensate the volatge sag from the result of related simulation works.
In this paper, an A-team(Asynchronous Team ) based approach for Reactive power and volage control considering static security assessment in a power system with infrastructural deficiencies is proposed. Reactive power and voltage control problem is the one of optimally establishing voltage level given several constraints such as reactive generation, voltage magnitude, line flow, and other switchable reactive power sources. It can be formulated as a mixed-integer linear programming(MILP) problem without deteriorating of solution accuracy to a certain extent. The security assessment is to estimate the relative robustness of the system in Its present state through the evaluation of data provided by security monitoring. Deterministic approach based on AC load flow calculations is adopted to assess the system security, especially voltage security. A security metric, as a standard of measurement for power system security, producting a set of discrete values rather than binary values, is employed. In order to analyze the above two problems, reactive power/voltage control problem and static security assessment problem, in an integrated fashion for real-time operations, a new organizational structure, called an A-team, is adopted. An A-team is an organization for agents which ale all autonomeus, work in parallel and communicate asynchronously, which is well-suited to the development of computer-based, multi-agent systems for operations. This A-team based approach, although it is still in the beginning stage, also has potential for handling other difficult power system problems.

In addition to the stack that directly generates electricity by the reaction of hydrogen and oxygen, the fuel cell power generation system has a reformer that generates hydrogen from various fuels such as methanol and natural gas. It also consists of a power converter that converts the DC voltage generated in the stack into a stable AC voltage. The fuel cell output of such a system is direct current, and in order to be used at home, an inverter device that converts it into alternating current through a power converter is required. In addition, a DC-DC step-up converter is used to boost the fuel cell voltage to about 30~70V, which is the inverter operating voltage, to about 380V. The DC-DC step-up converter is a DC voltage variable device that exists between the fuel cell output and the inverter. Accordingly, since a constant output voltage of the converter is generated in response to a change in the output voltage of the fuel cell, the inverter can receive constant power regardless of the voltage change of the fuel cell. Therefore, in this paper, we discuss the detailed hardware design of the full-bridge converter, which is the main power source of the inverter that receives the fuel cell output voltage (30~70V) as an input and is applied to the grid among the members of the fuel cell power generation system.
Purpose : This study was performed not only to compare the brain activation regions associated with sexual arousal induced by visual stimulation and SP6 acupuncture, but also to evaluate its differential neuro-anatomical mechanism in healthy women using functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) at 3 Tesla (T). Subjects and methods : A total of 21 healthy right-handed female volunteers (mean age 22 years, range 19 to 32) underwent fMRI on a 3T MR scanner. The stimulation paradigm for sexual arousal consisted of two alternating periods of rest and activation. It began with a 1-minute rest period, 3 minutes of stimulation with either of an erotic video film or SP6 acupuncture, followed by 1-minute rest. In addition, a comparative study on the brain activation patterns between an acupoint and a shampoint nearby GB37 was performed. The fMRI data were obtained from 20 slices parallel to the AC-PC line on an axial plane, giving a total of 2,000 images. The mean activation maps were constructed and analyzed by using the statistical parametric mapping (SPM99) software. Results : As comparison with the shampoint, the acupoint showed 5 times and 2 times higher activities in the neocortex and limbic system, respectively. Note that brain activation in response to stimulation with the shampoint was not observed in the regions including the HTHL in the diencephalon, GLO and AMYG in the basal ganglia, and SMG in the parietal lobe. In the comparative study of visual stimulation vs. SP6 acupuncture, the mean activation ratio of stimulus was not significantly different to each other in both the neocortex and the limbic system (p < 0.05). The mean activities induced by both stimuli were not significantly different in the neocortex, whereas the acupunctural stimulation showed higher activity in the limbic system (p < 0.05). Conclusions : This study compared the differential brain activation patterns and the neural mechanisms for sexual arousal, which were induced by visual stimulation and SP6 acupuncture by using 3T fMRI. These findings will be useful to understand the theory of traditional acupuncture and acupoint channel in scientific point of view.

In Korean AC power railway substations, SCOTT winding transformers are under operation to have a single phase power supply together with a phase angle of $90^{\circ}$ on the secondary side of the main transformer. In the case of an internal fault of the transformer, the transformer protection relay should be cut off on the primary side, the transformer should be inoperative to the external fault of the transformer or to the normal train operation. Reducing the malfunction of the relay through an exact fault determination is very important for securing a stable power system and improving its reliability. The main transformers are protected using Buchholtz's relay and a differential relay as the internal fault detection devices, but there are some cases of the main transformer operation under the deactivation of this protection function due to a malfunction of the differential relay. In this paper, the characteristics of the SCOTT transformer and differential relay as well as the malfunctioning of the protection relays are presented. The modeling of the SCOTT transformer protection relay was accomplished by the power system analysis program and the Comtrade file from 'A substation', which was used as the input data for the fault wave, and the harmonics were analyzed to determine if the relay operates or not. In addition, an improvement plan for malfunctioning cases through wave form analysis is suggested.
We simulated the current limiting characteristics of resistive and inductive SFCLs with 100 ${\omega}$ of impedances for a single and double line-to-ground faults in the 154 kV grid between two substations nearby Seoul. The transient current at the faults includes not. only high AC current up to 44 kA but also significant DC component as high as 4 kA. The DC current is greater and lasts longer for the double line-to-ground fault than for the single line-to-ground fault. The inductive SFCL limited the fault current more effectively than the resistive one. The DC component, however, was greater and diminishes slower for the inductive SFCL than for the resistive one.
This thesis is concerned with the study of the court attire the typical attire of the ju-dicial world in a point of time that more than 100 years have passed since the introduction of the modern judical system. In recognition of the fact that compiled data of the official uni-form or attire in Korea are insufficient this study placed its signification on the provision of information with focus on attire. As a result of studying court attire in Korea the conclusion was made as follows: Firstly Official attires in Yi Dynasty were divided by wearing embroidered insignia on the breast and the back of an official robe ac-cordint to court rank as well as by wearing Sa-mo in wadded clothes of Dan-ryeong and attaching all sorts of appurtenances including bands and shoes The Minister of Justice was equipped with Ho-pyo Dae-sa-heon equipped with Hae-chi the mayor of Seoul equipped with Un-an In the era of the Kng Young-jo the minister of Justice had no change in its of-ficial robe but the mayer(Pan-yun) of Seoul (Han-sung-bu) had Un-an(wild geese in clouds) changed into Un-hak In the King Ko-jog era the minister of Justice had Ho-pyo changed into Ssang-ho and the mayor of Seoul had Un-hak changed into Ssng-hak on embroideved insignia on the breast and back of an official robe. The more regrettable thing is that the current court attire has maintained the form greatly influenced by the U. S. court attire. Fortunately as the judicial circles have recently raised their voices for change in the court attire it has been told that the forma-tion of a meeting for a new court attire has been under way. The birth of the court attire into Which our tradition is sublimated is expected. This study end up with thinking that the must Korean thing is the most global thing in this era that people in the world are clamoring for globalization.

The solar cells should be operated at the maximum power point because its output characteristics were greatly fluctuated on the variation of insolation, temperature and load. It is necessary to install an inverter among electric power converts by means of the output power of solar cell is DC. The inverter is operated supply a sinusoidal current and voltage to the load and the interactive utility line. In this paper, the proposes a photovoltaic system is designed with a step up chopper and single phase PWM voltage source inverter. Synchronous signal and control signal was processed by one-chip microprocessor for stable modulation. The step up chopper is operated in continuous mode by adjusting the duty ratio so that the photovoltaic system tracks the maximum power point of solar cell without any influence on the variation of insolation and temperature for solar cell has typical dropping character. The single phase PWM voltage source inverter is consists of complex type of electric power converter to compensate for the defect, that is, solar cell cannot be develop continuously by connecting with the source of electric power for ordinary using. It can be cause the efect of saving electric power, from 10 to 20%. The single phase PWM voltage source inverter operates in situation, that its output voltage is in same phase with the utility voltage. The inverter are supplies an ac power with high factor and low level of harmonics to the load and the utility power system.

Digital substation refers to a substation that digitizes functions and communication methods of power facilities such as monitoring, measuring, control, protection, and operation based on IEC 61850, an international standard for the purpose of intelligent power grids. Based on the intelligent operating system, efficient monitoring and control of power facilities is possible, and automatic recovery function and remote control are possible in the event of an accident, enabling rapid power failure recovery. With the development of digital technology and the expansion of the introduction of eco-friendly renewable energy and electric vehicles, the spread of direct current distribution systems is expected to expand. MVDC is a system that utilizes direct current lines with voltage levels and transmission capacities between HVDCs applied to conventional transmission systems and LVDCs from consumers. Converting existing lines in substations, where most power equipment is alternating current centric, to direct current lines will reduce transmission losses and ensure greater current capacity. The process bus of a digital substation is a communication network consisting of communication equipment such as Ethernet switches that connect installed devices between bay level and process level. For MVDC linkage to existing digital substations, the process level was divided into two buses: AC and DC, and a system that can be comprehensively managed in conjunction with diagnostic IEDs as well as surveillance and control was proposed.
