In this paper, We propose a target tracking filter which utilizes the PDA for data association in a clutter environment and also propose an analytic solution for ideal filter covariance which accounts for all the possible events in the PDA. Monte Carlo simulation for the proposed filter in a clutter environment indicates that the proposed analytic solution forms the true error covariance of the PDA Filter.

Mobile map services using PDA are prevailing because of the rapid developments of techniques of the internet and handhold devices recently. While the volume of spatial data is tremendous and the spatial operations are time-intensive, the PDA has small size memory and a low performance processor. Therefore, the spatial index for PDA should be small size and efficiently filter out the candidate objects of spatial operation as well. This paper proposes a spatial index far PDA called MHF(Multilevel Hashing File). The MHF has simple structure for storage efficiency and uses a hashing technique, which is direct search method, for search efficiency. This paper also designs a compression technique for MBR. which occupies almost 80% of index data in the two dimensional case. We call it HMBR. Although the HMBR technique reduces the MB\ulcorner size to almost a third, it shows good filtering efficiency because of no information loss by quantization in case of small objects that occupy a major portion. Our experimental tests show that the proposed MHF index using HMBR technique is appropriate for PDA in terms of the size of index, the Number of MBR comparisons, the filtering efficiency and the execution time of spatial operations.

Conductive microcellular foams consisted of polystrene (PS) and polydopamine-coated carbon nanotube (PDA-CNT) were prepared via high internal phase emulsion (HIPE) polymerization and their morphology and electrical conductivity were investigated. CNT as a conductive nanofiller was modified to PDA-CNT by coating with hydrophilic PDA on the surface of CNT to increase aqueous phase dispersion and emulsion stability. It was possible to prepare the HIPEs having higher PDA-CNT content and the resultant foams having improved conductivity due to its good dispersion. The foams showed the morphology of interconnected cell structure. As PDA-CNT content increased, yield stress and storage modulus increased and cell size reduced. The PDA-CNT content showing electrical percolation threshold was ca. 0.58 wt% and the conductivity at PDA-CNT content of 5 wt% was increased to $10^{-3}S/m$.

In this research, we tried to implement a PDA (Personal Digital Assistant)-based hearing aids fitting system to manipulate hearing aids-fitting parameters in the user's local environment. Due to the inherent portability of PDA system, we can consequently perform the hearing aids fitting operation without visiting a special site.

The PDA (Probabilistic Data Association) Filter proposes a new approach to the problem of tracking when the source of the measurement data is uncertain. The PDA filter shows good simulation results in a known clutter density. In this paper the PDA filter has been modified so that it can be applied when the clutter density is not known.

Recently, information-Ievel of the people has been increased with growing IT cutting-edge technology. There is a trend to combine these achievements with information-technology, ubiquitous technology, and mobile technology in the field of transportation. Along with this trend, a PDA-based traffic accident investigation device was developed. This paper established the evaluation method of feasibility test on the PDA device, and performed qualitative and quantitative evaluation as compared with the current practice (manual investigation). Test results showed that traffic accident investigation using the PDA device was faster and more convenient than manual investigation. It is expected that the reliability of accident investigation will be improved by applying this tool with minor modifications.

Locally PDA has been utilized mainly as an alternative way of preforming pile loading tests. More than 30 units of PDA's are believed to be operating in Korea. It is true that PDA can provide useful information regarding bearing capacity, integrity, hammer performance, time effect, etc. However it is also true that inappropriate execution of PDA could result in harmful effects for the safety of the superstructure or causing delay in the construction process. In this paper several cases of inappropriate application of PDA are introduced. Most of the problems seemed to be caused by unqualified personnel who carry out testing and analysis. From the evaluation of the cases a proposal has been made for the proper application of PDA.

Hemodynamically significant preterm patent ductus arteriosus (PDA) affects mortality; comorbidities such as necrotizing enterocolitis, intraventricular hemorrhage, and bronchopulmonary dysplasia; and adverse long-term neurodevelopmental outcomes in preterm infants, particularly in very low birth weight infants. However, recent studies have indicated that there is no consensus on the causal relationship between PDA and neonatal outcomes, the benefit of PDA treatment, the factors guiding the need for treatment, and optimal treatment strategies. Such uncertainty has resulted in wide variations in practice for treating preterm PDA between units, regions, and nations. Nowadays, there has been a paradigm shift to more conservative treatment for preterm PDA, and suggestions regarding selective management of preterm PDA considering risk factors and hemodynamic significance are increasing. Neonatologist-performed echocardiography and advances in modalities to assess hemodynamic significance such as biologic markers and near-infrared spectroscopy also help improve the efficacy of selective treatment of preterm PDA.

This thesis proposed a method that connecting step motor to image send board which can acquire image to move and remote controlling via streaming image board of PDA(personal digital assistant) based on embedded Linux which is using wireless network There are three embedded Linux system to embody movable image send board. First, though the wireless network a signal of PDA is transmitted to the board which has embedded Linux and a system which is controlled by the expansion I/O port of the board. Second, it's a system streaming realtime image at a PDA which has embedded Linux. The last is a system which controls a process of image board using TCP/IP communication and image send board at PC. These are the system which can use industrial settings and homes. It can also make use of an embodiment method about travelling image robot.

PDA model is new collection development method not only corresponding user's demand, but also expensing acquisition budget effectively. In the PDA model, when the trigger that indicates user's demand reaches up to treshold, e-book is automatically purchased without librarian's interrogation. This study examines concept, basic principles, and current condition of operation about PDA and finds a way that could applicate to Korean university library foreign E-book consortium. Current model of university library e-book acquisition pursuit reduction of budget and utility value, but the selected collection is not based on user's demand. Therefore, it could be considerable to apply PDA or evidence based purchase model to foreign e-book acquisition consortium.
