This paper shows the formulation of fast moving least square reproducing kernel method (FMLSRKM) which is a kind of meshfree methods. FMLSRKM has some advantages compared to conventional numerical techniques such as finite element method. For simple analysis on a rectangular waveguide, point collocation scheme is introduced and applied.

This study performed slope stability analysis by changing analysis methods and shear strength with the slope stability analysis program. The conclusions of the study are as follows. 1) The safe factor of clayey soil applied with Bishop's simple method turned out to be similar to or slightly higher than those of other methods, for both dry and saturated conditions. 2) The safe factor of sandy soil applied with GLE method turned out to be slightly higher than those of other methods. But when applied with Bishop's simple method, it appeared to be slightly higher than those of other methods. 3) The safe factor of ordinary soil applied with GLE method showed the highest result. 4) Janbu method showed the lowest safe factor among all the methods for the above three types of soils.

This simple culture device is based on the microtube culture method (Cho, 1974). The microtube culture system was placed in a plastic tube (Falcon, 12 $\\times$ 75 mm) and the transporting system used in the present study were Trans-Temp 310 (Royal Industries, 209 D 135-1). The simple culture device in the Trans-Temp 310 seems to be an available method for short term culture and some distance transportation of oocytes and embryos.

Most data parallel languages provide the block-cyclic distribution (cyclic(k)) that is one of the most general regular distributions. In order to generate local addresses for an array section A(l:h:s) with block-cyclic distribution, efficient compiling methods or run-time methods are required. In this paper, two local address generation methods for the block-cyclic distribution are presented. One is a simple scan method that is modified from the virtual-block scheme. The other is a linear-time ${\Delta}M$ table that contains the local memory access information construction method. This method is simpler than other algorithms for generating a ${\Delta}M$ table. Experimental results show that a simple that a simple scan method has poor performance but a linear-time ${\Delta}M$ table generation method is faster than other algorithms in ${\Delta}M$ table generation time and access time for 10,000 array elements.

A loop duct system is often found in a VAV-HVAC(variable air volume heating, ventilating and air conditioning) design. It is known that the simple T-method is not be applicable to the loop duct system and cannot be used to calculate the flow rate and the pressure drop at each duct section of the loop duct system. In this paper, the extended T-method has been developed and it is found to be applicable to the loop duct system to which the simple T-method cannot be applied. The validity of the extended T-method has been verified by using to solve for a simple, ideal loop duct system for which there exists analytical solution. In addition, the extended T-method is employed to compute the loop duct system of a real building with an area of 380$m^2$. The results show that the computed flow rate at the exit differs from the designed flow rate by a range of -13.6~43.5 %. Consequently, three design factors must be adjusted in order that the flow rate may be balanced. These include the duct sizes, in terms of their lengths and diameters, the sub-duct locations and the positioning of damper which is found upstream of the exit duct.

Bone marrow (BM) cell harvesting is a crucial element in the isolation of mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs). A simple method for harvesting cat BM cells is described. The results show that a large number of BM cells can rapidly be harvested from the cat by this simple procedure. MSCs prepared by density-gradient method were spindle-shaped morphology with bipolar or polygonal cell bodies and strongly positive for CD9 and CD44 and negative for CD18 and CD45-like. They were capable of differentiation to adipocytic and osteocytic phenotypes when exposed to appropriate induction media. The advantages of this method are its rapidity, simplicity, low invasiveness, and low donor attrition and good outcome.

This survey was estimated under the ratio estimate such as single class method, simple random sampling method, compound ratio sampling method, separate ratio sampling method and average tree sampling method artificial forest pitch pine volume. The following results were realized by the ratio estimates. At the above table simple random sampling method and compound ratio sampling method are the only ones which is included the actual stand volume in the ratio estimatedstand volume. It is thought that the sampling was in a such good result was because of stand structual stands were simple forest. The most simple measurement and calcuation on the stand volume estimates, in order, would be (1) single class method, (2) simple random sampling method (3) average tree method (4) separate ratio sampling method and compound ratio sampling method, and at the planted evenaged forest the method has realized the best results in obtaining good accuracy and the measure stand volume with least time, expenses and labor in considerably.

By according to the development of the mobile devices, a touch screen provides the variety of inputting character and the flexibility of user interface. Currently, the physically simple touch method is widely used for English input but this simple touch is not increasing the variety of inputs and flexibility of the user interfaces. In this paper, we propose a new method to input English characters continuously by recognizing gestures instead of the simple touches. The proposed method places the rotational pickers on the screen for changing the alphabetical sequence instead of the keys and inputs English characters through the flick gestures and the touches. Simulation results show that the proposed keypad method has better performance than the keypad of the conventional methods.

This paper describes a method of calculating the viewing parameters of a camera using a perspective view of a circular pattern. The proposed method determines the angle of pan, tilt, and swing, as well as the distance from the camera to the reference point of a world coordinate system, using simple equations. The proposed method is so simple and accurate that when used in a well-controled environment as in robot vision systems or visual inspection systems it may even seem trivial.
