The objective of this study was mainly to evaluate the water resources potential of Lake Tana Basin (LTB) by using Soil and Water Assessment Tool (SWAT). From SWAT simulation of LTB, about 5236 km2 area of LTB is gauged watershed and the remaining 9878 km2 area is ungauged watershed. For calibration of model parameters, four gauged stations were considered namely: Gilgel Abay, Gummera, Rib, and Megech. The SWAT-CUP built-in techniques, particle swarm optimization (PSO) and generalized likelihood uncertainty estimation (GLUE) method was used for calibration of model parameters and PSO method were selected for the study based on its performance results in four gauging stations. However the level of sensitivity of flow parameters differ from catchment to catchment, the curve number (CN2) has been found the most sensitive parameters in all gauged catchments. To facilitate the transfer of data from gauged catchments to ungauged catchments, clustering of hydrologic response units (HRUs) were done based on physical similarity measured between gauged and ungauged catchment attributes. From SWAT land use/ soil use/slope reclassification of LTB, a total of 142 HRUs were identified and these HRUs are clustered in to 39 similar hydrologic groups. In order to transfer the optimized model parameters from gauged to ungauged catchments based on these clustered hydrologic groups, this study evaluates three parameter transfer schemes: parameters transfer based on homogeneous regions (PT-I), parameter transfer based on global averaging (PT-II), and parameter transfer by considering Gilgel Abay catchment as a representative catchment (PT-III) since its model performance values are better than the other three gauged catchments. The performance of these parameter transfer approach was evaluated based on values of Nash-Sutcliffe efficiency (NSE) and coefficient of determination (R2). The computed NSE values was found to be 0.71, 0.58, and 0.31 for PT-I, PT-II and PT-III respectively and the computed R2 values was found to be 0.93, 0.82, and 0.95 for PT-I, PT-II, and PT-III respectively. Based on the performance evaluation criteria, PT-I were selected for modelling ungauged catchments by transferring optimized model parameters from gauged catchment. From the model result, yearly average stream flow for all homogeneous regions was found 29.54 m3/s, 112.92 m3/s, and 130.10 m3/s for time period (1989 - 2005) for region-I, region-II, and region-III respectively.

The purpose of this study is to explore elementary teachers' difficulties on teaching science by analyzing questions that have been posted for a long time in an autonomous online teacher community named Indischool. For this purpose, 409 question postings(the 2007 and 2009 revised curriculum, third to sixth grade) were analyzed using the framework for analyzing questions about elementary teachers' science teaching(modified from Alake-Tuenter et al., 2013). The study revealed that there were more science-SMK questions than science-PCK questions, and most of the questions were 'about lenses' and 'in 2014 and 2015, when the curriculum was changing from the 2007 to the 2009 revised curriculum'. The long-standing difficulties in science-SMK were 'an application of facts and concepts in lenses' and 'an unexpected experimental error in electricity'. In particular, there are the principle of transparent cup-shaped objects acting as lenses, the process of image formation by convex lenses, experimental errors of 'compass movement due to current flow change' and experimental errors 'serial connection of bulbs'. The long-standing difficulties in science-PCK were 'understanding and response to context' and 'understanding and response to aims mentioned in standard document' and these are not related to physical units but to others. In particular, there are request class materials, activity ideas at the end of the semester and understanding the national curriculum guidelines. These teachers' difficulties should be reflected in the science teaching support system like a teacher's guide compilation, teacher's training curriculum development, etc.
The purpose of this study was to compare the preventive effects of green tea and coffee drinking on postprandial hypotension in the elderly. A total of 30 women ($81.2{\pm}6.8years$) who had experience of postprandial hypotension participated 3 interventions by random order allocation. During the experimental interventions, each participant had a cup of instant coffee (60mg caffeine), or green tea (15.8mg caffeine) after lunch, and control group had only their lunch. Systolic blood pressure (SBP), diastolic blood pressure (DBP), and heart rate (HR) were measured with 15 minute interval from 30 minutes before the meal to 120 minutes after the meal. The preprandial SBP and DBP were not significantly different between three groups. Postprandial SBP reduction measured at the 1 hour after meal was significantly smaller in coffee group compared to the control group, whereas green tea group was not ($-15.1{\pm}17.9mmHg$ vs $-13.4{\pm}22.4mmHg$ vs. $-4.1{\pm}18.6mmHg$ for control, green tea, and coffee group, respectively, p=.032). Likewise, DBP decrement at the 1 hour after meal was significantly smaller in coffee than control group ($-12.8{\pm}13.0mmHg$ vs $-6.9{\pm}16.6mmHg$ vs $-0.8{\pm}13.4mmHg$ respectively, p=.033). The HR response of the three groups were not significantly different throughout the intervention. Coffee drinking was potentially beneficial for preventing postprandial hypotension and resultant falling event.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the energy and nutrient contents of home meal replacement (HMR) rice products per single serving package based on nutrition labels. Methods: The market research was conducted from February to July 2021 on products sold on the internet, at convenience stores, etc. A total of 406 products were investigated. The products were divided into the following 6 classifications: instant rice (n = 45), cup rice (n = 64), frozen rice (n = 188), rice bowls with toppings (n = 32), gimbap (n = 38), and triangular gimbap (n = 39). Results: The mean packaging weight per serving was the highest in the rice bowl with toppings at 297.1 g, followed by cup rice (264.0 g), frozen rice (239.5 g), gimbap (230.2 g), instant rice (193.4 g), and triangular gimbap (121.6 g) (p < 0.001). The energy per serving package for the rice bowl with toppings was significantly the highest at 496.0 kcal (p < 0.001). The sodium content per serving package of gimbap was the highest at 1,021.8 mg and that of the instant rice was lowest at 37.4 mg (p < 0.001). The price per serving package of the rice bowl with toppings at 4,333.8 won was the highest. The contribution to the daily nutritional value per serving package of all types of HMR rice products surveyed showed an average range of 10-25% for energy, 11-22% for carbohydrates, and 2-51% for sodium. Conclusion: These results indicate the energy and nutrient contents of HMR rice products, vary by type. Therefore, consumers should review the nutrition labeling to select an appropriate HMR rice product based on their intended consumption.
The purpose of this study is to collect official world records for a total of five years from 2015 to 2019 from the modern pentathlon world competition database to reveal the impact of shooting types and characteristics on the record. To that end, the entire shooting spree was analyzed for all male and female athletes participating in the UIPM Level 1 World Cup and World Championships. According to the study, the number of round trips and the number of cars increased, the number of shooting accumulation deteriorated, the best record in the first round trip 3rd round, and the worst record in the fourth round trip 5th round. In addition, the deviation values are accumulated according to the fire recording or without success of the first step round trip by 9 percent in accordance with the growing number of the deviation is an increasing trend is, is that over time. Modern pentathlon at the success of the first step is more important and as fire can just hit first step in the event of great effect in reducing record. Based on these studies, the factors and characteristics that affect shooting accuracy are identified, and follow-up research linked to track records is necessary to match the characteristics of the combined competition.
During the compression molding process of the continuous fiber-reinforced polymeric composites, two main problems such as fiber-matrix separation and fiber orientation are produced by the difference of flow velocity. Molded parts are lead to be nonhomogeneous and anisotropic. As the mechanical property of the products are dependent on the separation and orientation, it is important to research the fiber mat structure and molding condition. If the fiber mat structure is changed by the increment of needling, the separation decreases and after compression molding the orientation is easily aligned. As it were, the compression moldability is good. But the defects as tears, thin thickness are produced in the products. Therefore, it is important to clarify the moldability in relation to the usage of products and the expenses of produce on the actual process. Therefore we must make the measurement methods that can define the moldability of products. In this research, the effects of the fiber mat structure(NP = 0, 5, 10, 25, 50 punches/$cm^2$) and the mold geometry($r_p$ = 1, 25, 50 mm) on the moldability of products were discussed. We investigated the case of one-dimensional flow in order to obtain the degree of nonhomogeneity and the fiber orientation function. In result, we could gain the correlation coefficient of the continuous fiber-reinforced polymeric composites. Also we experimented on the cup-type compression molding which was appeared the wrinkle on the flange part by the complex stress condition in order to gain the degree of nonhomogeneity and area ratio. In result, the moldability of products was expressed as the correlation coefficient and area ratio.
A sclerotinia rot of Water cress (Oenanthe javanica) occurred in the commerical farmers field at Garye-myon, Uiryeong-gun, Gyeongnam Province, Korea, 2002. The typical symptoms appeared on leaves and stems. At first, the infected leaves or stems turned dark green later become watery soft rotted; white fluffy mycelia grew from the lesion, later formed black sclerotia. Sclerotia on the infected plants and PDA medium were globose to cylindrical or irregular in shape and 1.0~10.7 ${\times}$1.0~7.6 mm in size. Cup-shaped aphothecia with numerous asci were formed from sclerotinia and the size were 0.4~1.6 cm in diameter. Asci with 8 spores were cylindrical and 74~236 ${\times}$ 4.2~24.8 m in size. Ascospores of one cell were hyaline, ellipsoid to ovoid in shape, and 8.3~12.4 ${\times}$ 3.6~7.2 m in size. The optimum temperature for mycelial growth was $25^{\circ}C$ , and sclerotinia forma-tion was between 15~$20^{\circ}C$. On the basis of mycological characteristics and pathogenecity test to host plants, the fungus was identified as Sclerotinia sclerotiorum. This is the first report of Sclerotinia sclerotiorum caused sclerotinia rot on Oenanthe javanica caused by in Korea.
The purpose of this study is to investigate the drinking behaviors of adult mentally retarded persons(N=140) over the age of 18. It was also investigated whether gender, age, and pattern of employment create different result of drinking behaviors, whether there is correlation between variables associated with drinking behaviors for mentally retarded persons. 58.2 percent of respondent reported that they had consumed alcohol beverages sometimes prior to their having been interviewed. Average age of respondents who had consumed alcohol was 26.357 years and average age of first-use of alcohol was 22 years. 39.2 percent of respondent reported that they drink alcohol once a month. Beer(54.2 percent) was the most frequently consumed alcohol beverages. Average alcohol consumption per occasion was 1.494 cup, and 10.9 percent of respondent answered more than 5 cups per occasion. Regarding problems associated with drinking, 16 percent of respondent of AUDIT and 51.4 percent of Family CAGE answered that their children have drinking-related problems. Men(64.2 percent) drink more than women(43.6 percent) and experience more alcohol problem. Regarding drinking behaviors associated with the pattern of employment, supervised employment group(78.6 percent) was known as the most prevalent group of experiencing drinking. For the amount of drinking, gender(p<.05) and pattern of employment(p<.05) had shown the significant differences. There were significant positive correlation between the frequency of drinking and the amount of drinking, and AUDIT and Family CAGE.

In order to secure safe meals, the hazards of microorganisms associated with food poisoning accident should be monitored and controlled in real situations. It is necessary to determined the correlation between existing common bacteria number (aerobic plate count; APC) and RLU (relative light unit) in cookware. In this paper, we investigate the correlation between ATP (RUL) and APC (CFU) by using three types of transform (inverse, square root, log transforms) of raw data in two steps. Among these transforms, the log transform at the first step has been found to be optimal for the data of cutting board, knife, soup bowl (stainless), and tray (carbon). The square root-inverse and the square root-square root transform at the second step have been shown to be optimal respectively for the cup and for the soup bowl (carbon) data.
Tetragomphius procyonis Baylis & Daubney, 1923 were obtained from the pancreatic duct of a naturally infected Eurasian badger, Meles meles, which was submitted to animal hospital for parasitic diagnosis from Gyeryongsan National Park in Korea. The hookworms were examined by light and scanning electron microscope. The length of body measured male 15.0-18.8 mm, female 21.5-25.5 mm, respectively. In both sex, the ventral cutting plates of oral margin are much reduced and elongated latero-dorsally, the dorsal cutting plate is located long follow doral margin of the oral opening. The buccal capsule is cup-shaped and thicken with four cusped tooth at its base. The copulatory bursa has elongated ventral lobes and their large rays are parallel, while the dorsal lobe with its supporting rays is slightly split in two. The slender spicules are filariform and very long (8.7-9.3 mm), and their tips are fused together. The hookworm has following characters: dorsal cone on the both sex, gubernaculum on the male and terminal spine on the female tail absent; vulva is opening in the juction of the fourths and fifths of the body; dorsal ray with two long stems. The eggs from the uterus are 16 cell stages and those from the rectal feces, 32 cell stages. The size of eggs is 77.48-83.45 ${\times}$ 50.75-63.38 ${\mu}m$.
